Marriott’s Harbour Lake is a Marriott Vacation Club resort about 1.5 to 2 miles by road from SeaWorld Orlando, and it’s built around young kids: a pirate-ship pool called Shipwreck Landing, a 16-foot waterslide with a 42-inch height minimum, a splash pad with water cannons, and guest rooms plus one- and two-bedroom villas with kitchenettes or full kitchens. Both Marriott and Marriott Vacation Club say there is no resort fee.

What you do pay is $30 plus tax per car per day to park, and you drive to every park, because no shuttle is listed. Below are the rooms, pools, dining and fees we confirmed on Marriott’s and Marriott Vacation Club’s pages in October 2026, plus measured road distances. We haven’t stayed there and don’t use review scores.

Quick answer: Book Marriott’s Harbour Lake if you have children under about 10, a car and a SeaWorld, Epic Universe or split Disney-Universal plan: the pools are the draw, the villas have full kitchens and laundry, and there’s no resort fee. Skip it if you need a park shuttle or Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry, or if you travel during the January 2 to February 15, 2027 villa refurbishment and mind daytime noise.

Location and distances from Marriott’s Harbour Lake

Harbour Lake sits on Grand Horizons Boulevard, a short road off Westwood Boulevard in Orlando’s SeaWorld area, with Key West-style buildings between fountain ponds and the shore of Lake Willis. Marriott’s Cypress Harbour, another Marriott Vacation Club resort, is less than half a mile away by road. If SeaWorld is the main reason for your trip, compare it with our best hotels near SeaWorld Orlando.

Marriott lists SeaWorld at 1.1 miles, Universal at 4.8 and Walt Disney World at 10. Our public-road routes to each park’s guest parking:

Rooms and villas: three sizes, kitchens in every unit

Harbour Lake sells three unit types, while Cypress Harbour next door sells only two-bedroom villas. Marriott Vacation Club lists:

UnitSizeSleepsBedsKitchen
Guest room300 sq ft4King, sofa bedKitchenette
One-bedroom villa800 sq ft4King, sofa bedFull kitchen
Two-bedroom villa1,082 sq ft8King, 2 queens, sofa bedFull kitchen

The villas get a full kitchen with a conventional oven, a stove, a refrigerator with an icemaker, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee pot, pots, pans and dishware, and Marriott says every villa has a utility room with a washer and dryer. Marriott also mentions separate living and dining areas, a furnished balcony or patio and a TV with a DVD player.

The guest room is one space with a king bed, a sofa bed and a kitchenette: a mini refrigerator, a small microwave, a wet bar sink, a toaster and a coffee pot. It suits a short stay, not a week of home cooking.

Do the bed math. In the two-bedroom villa, the king and two queens sleep six, so only guests seven and eight use the sofa bed, an easier split for two families than at Cypress Harbour, where four of eight sleep on sofa beds. In the one-bedroom villa and the guest room, guests three and four share the sofa bed. Marriott Vacation Club lists a portable playard on request, but Booking.com’s house rules say cribs aren’t available, so confirm. No view categories are listed, so ask at check-in if you’d like to face the lake.

Pools: the pirate ship, the slide and the splash pad

The pools are why families choose Harbour Lake. Marriott Vacation Club describes two themed areas, and Marriott lists the hours:

  • Shipwreck Landing: the feature pool, with a pirate-ship play area. Marriott lists it as a heated, zero-entry pool open 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Florida Falls: a pool with a 16-foot waterslide and WaterWorks, a water playground with a splash pad and water cannons. The slide has a 42-inch height requirement. Marriott lists the pool as heated and zero-entry, open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the splash pad on the same hours.
  • Children’s pool and whirlpools: Marriott Vacation Club lists an outdoor children’s pool and two whirlpool spas, while Marriott lists three outdoor whirlpools.

No lifeguards are on duty, and children 12 and under must be with an adult at all times; towels are provided. Kids under 42 inches still have the pirate ship and the splash pad, and our Orlando hotels with splash pads lists more toddler-friendly pools. Neither official page lists a lazy river.

Recreation, the lake and the fire pit

The Recreation Station has barbecue grills, a picnic area, a pavilion, ping-pong, a pool table, foosball and a fire pit. There are also basketball and volleyball courts, arts and crafts at the Oasis, miniature golf (supplies from The Outpost), clubTHRIVE fitness classes and Harbour Landing, a dock over Lake Willis.

Golfers have the 9-hole, par-32 Grande Vista Golf Club about 2 miles away. No boat rentals are listed here; if boats matter, Cypress Harbour next door has a Boathouse on its own bay.

Dining and breakfast

Breakfast isn’t included. Marriott’s dining FAQ says breakfast is sold on site at The Patio Bar and Grill and The Outpost, and that the resort has no room service.

The Patio Bar and Grill is a casual spot with outdoor seating near the pools. Marriott lists it as open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. for traditional American food, closed in bad weather; Marriott Vacation Club adds drinks and coffee. The Outpost kiosk sells snacks, grab-and-go items, drinks and pool toys from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to Marriott.

Marriott’s nearby list starts with Bonefish Grill (0.8 mile), TGI Friday’s (1.7 miles) and The Grill at Grande Vista (2 miles), and OpenStreetMap places a Publix supermarket at 5350 Central Florida Parkway, about 2 miles by road.

Parking, resort fee and house rules

  • Resort fee: none. Marriott promises “no resort fees and free Wi-Fi,” and Marriott Vacation Club lists “No Resort Fees.” A two-night sample quote on Booking.com in October 2026 added only about 12.5% in taxes and fees, Orange County’s hotel tax rate. Our Orlando resort fees guide shows what other resorts charge.
  • Parking: $30 plus tax per vehicle per day, according to Booking.com’s fine print and Marriott’s February 2026 overview; Marriott Vacation Club lists $30 daily per vehicle for all rental reservations. It’s included only for owner reservations and vacation ownership packages.
  • Wi-Fi: the sources disagree. Marriott’s accommodations page promises free Wi-Fi, but its February 2026 overview limited free in-room internet to Marriott Bonvoy members who book direct. Booking.com says Wi-Fi is free in all areas; confirm at check-in.
  • Housekeeping: Marriott Vacation Club and Booking.com don’t say how often; ask before you book.
  • Check-in and check-out: 4 p.m. and 10 a.m.; bring a photo ID and a credit card.
  • Pets: not allowed (service animals are welcome). Marriott Vacation Club warns of a $500 per-pet room recovery fee.
  • Smoking and payment: smoke-free (smoking in a villa or on a balcony may cost a $250 cleaning charge) and cashless, credit cards only.
  • EV charging: none, according to the FAQ on Marriott’s February 2026 overview.

Getting to the parks without a shuttle

Marriott’s overview said “This hotel does not provide shuttle service” in its airport section at last check (February 2026), and no theme park shuttle appears on Marriott’s or Marriott Vacation Club’s current pages. Plan on a car or rideshare, and budget for parking at both ends.

  • SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica: about 1.5 to 3 miles. SeaWorld’s parking page sells general parking from $37 plus tax online (an FAQ on the same page still says $35).
  • Universal and Epic Universe: about 6 miles to the main garages and 4.4 to Epic Universe’s parking plaza. Universal lists regular self-parking at $35 including tax, and our hotels near Epic Universe guide covers closer stays.
  • Disney: about 9 to 11 miles to the theme park lots, mostly on I-4. Standard theme park parking is $35 a day, and Disney Springs parking is free.
  • Park perks: Harbour Lake isn’t among the 15 non-Disney hotels with Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry, so you buy Lightning Lane passes 3 days ahead like other off-site guests.
  • Airport: about 14 miles by road via SR 528, a toll road. Marriott’s February 2026 overview listed 12.7 miles and named Hema Transportation, reservation required, as an alternative transfer.

Amenities: fitness, massage, spa and accessibility

The fitness center has cardio and strength machines, free weights, Peloton bikes and locker rooms. Marriott lists it as open 24 hours a day, although an FAQ on its experiences page gives 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

There’s no full spa on site, but massage therapists work at the resort for a fee (Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone and more); book through the Recreation Office at 407-465-6346. For facials and nails, Marriott points to The Spa at Grande Vista and Namaste Spa at Cypress Harbour.

There’s also a concierge and a 24-hour front desk. For accessibility, Marriott and Marriott Vacation Club list mobility-accessible rooms, roll-in showers, pool lifts or sloped entries and hearing-accessible rooms or kits; call 407-465-6100 to confirm what you need.

Renting a timeshare villa: what’s different

Harbour Lake is a Marriott Vacation Club resort with timeshare interests owned by the MVC Trust, and owners can exchange stays through Abound by Marriott Vacations. A nightly rental on Booking.com or Marriott.com works like a hotel booking, and our guide to Orlando timeshare resorts you can rent by the night compares 12 of them.

Discounted preview packages are different: Marriott Vacation Club’s Orlando package at Cypress Harbour requires a 90- to 120-minute timeshare sales presentation, while the regular rental pages we read list no such requirement. Marriott Bonvoy rates, points and perks apply only to direct Marriott bookings, not Booking.com.

Who Marriott’s Harbour Lake suits

It suits families with children roughly 3 to 10 who’ll spend afternoons at the pirate ship and the slide, groups of up to eight who want six people in real beds in one villa, and SeaWorld, Discovery Cove or Epic Universe days.

It’s a poor fit if you don’t drive or want Early Theme Park Entry. Teens may find the pools young: there’s one 16-foot slide, not a water park. Still choosing an area? Our guide to where to stay in Orlando compares the main neighborhoods.

Pros

  • No resort fee, according to Marriott and Marriott Vacation Club.
  • A pirate-ship pool, a 16-foot slide, a splash pad and two heated zero-entry pools.
  • Three unit sizes, with full kitchens and washer-dryers in the villas.
  • The two-bedroom villa sleeps six in beds (a king and two queens) before anyone uses the sofa bed.
  • About 1.5 to 2 miles from SeaWorld and 4.4 from Epic Universe.

Limitations to know

  • No theme park or airport shuttle is listed.
  • Parking costs $30 plus tax per car per day.
  • Check-out is at 10 a.m., and breakfast and massages cost extra.
  • No lifeguards and no lazy river, and the slide requires 42 inches.

Frequently asked questions

Does Marriott’s Harbour Lake have a resort fee?

No. Marriott’s pages promise “no resort fees,” and Marriott Vacation Club lists “No Resort Fees” at the time of writing; a sample Booking.com quote added only about 12.5% in taxes and fees. You still pay $30 plus tax per car per day to park on a rental, and breakfast, meals and massages cost extra.

How much is parking at Marriott’s Harbour Lake?

It’s $30 plus tax per vehicle per day on rental stays, according to Booking.com’s fine print and Marriott’s February 2026 overview; Marriott Vacation Club lists $30 daily per vehicle for all rental reservations. Parking is included only for owner reservations and vacation ownership packages, so Booking.com renters should budget for it every day.

Does Marriott’s Harbour Lake have a shuttle to Disney, Universal or SeaWorld?

No. Marriott’s overview said at last check (February 2026) that the hotel doesn’t provide shuttle service, and neither Marriott nor Marriott Vacation Club lists park transport. By road it’s about 1.5 to 2 miles to SeaWorld’s parking, 4.4 to Epic Universe, 6 to Universal’s garages and 9 to 11 to the Disney park lots, so plan on a car or rideshare.

How many people can stay in a Marriott’s Harbour Lake villa?

Up to eight in a two-bedroom villa (1,082 sq ft, with a king, two queens and a sofa bed) and up to four in a one-bedroom villa (800 sq ft) or a guest room (300 sq ft), each with a king and a sofa bed. Booking.com showed the same villa limits. Marriott Vacation Club offers a portable playard on request, but Booking.com says cribs aren’t available, so confirm.

What is the height requirement for the waterslide at Marriott’s Harbour Lake?

It’s 42 inches. Marriott Vacation Club lists that requirement for the 16-foot waterslide at the Florida Falls pool. Shorter children can still use the Florida Falls splash pad and water cannons and the pirate-ship play area at Shipwreck Landing. No lifeguards are on duty, and children 12 and under must be with an adult.

Do you have to attend a timeshare presentation at Marriott’s Harbour Lake?

Not on a regular rental, according to the official terms we read. Harbour Lake is a Marriott Vacation Club timeshare resort that also rents rooms by the night through Marriott and Booking.com. Discounted preview packages are different: the Marriott Vacation Club Orlando package we checked requires a 90- to 120-minute sales presentation, so read any package terms before you buy.

Bottom line

Marriott’s Harbour Lake is the Marriott Vacation Club resort near SeaWorld built for young families: a pirate-ship pool, a 16-foot slide, a splash pad, kitchens in every unit and no resort fee. Budget $30 a day plus tax for parking and a drive to every park, and it’s an easy base for SeaWorld, Epic Universe and a split Disney-Universal trip.
