The best hotels near Disney World with free shuttle service are Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando, which charges no resort fee, the Swan and Dolphin, served by Disney’s own buses and boats, and the Waldorf Astoria, Signia and Hotel Plaza Boulevard hotels, whose guests also get Early Theme Park Entry.
“Free” is the catch. Some shuttles cost nothing extra, many are paid through a mandatory resort fee, and one charges per ride. Below, 27 non-Disney hotels whose own websites list a Walt Disney World shuttle are grouped by area, with the parks served, booking rules and Early Entry status. Standard theme park parking was $35 a day at the time of writing, so a good shuttle saves real money.
Quick answer: For the lowest total cost, book Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando: free hourly shuttles to all four parks, free hot breakfast and Early Entry. For easy EPCOT and Hollywood Studios days, pick the Swan or Dolphin. For luxury with all-day buses, choose the Waldorf Astoria or Signia. On a budget, Buena Vista Suites adds free breakfast and parking, with the shuttle in a $23-plus-tax daily fee.

How we chose these hotels
- Official shuttle only: each hotel’s website, or its shuttle operator’s page, listed a Walt Disney World shuttle at our October 2026 check.
- Cost status: truly free rides are separated from shuttles bundled into a resort fee.
- Early Entry: checked against Disney’s official list. No scores or star ratings are used.
“Free” shuttle or resort fee? How to read this list
- Free, with no resort fee listed: Drury Plaza, Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista, the Marriott Village and Flamingo Crossings hotels, and the Baymont and Travelodge on US-192.
- Complimentary, but a resort fee applies anyway: Swan and Dolphin, Four Seasons, both Wyndhams on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, Renaissance, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Ramada Kissimmee Gateway.
- Included in the resort fee: the four Bonnet Creek resorts, both Hiltons, Holiday Inn and DoubleTree Suites on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, World Center Marriott, Caribe Royale, Buena Vista Suites, Holiday Inn Resort, Margaritaville, Floridays and Avanti.
- Paid per ride: Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista South.
The middle groups cost the same in practice, because the fee is mandatory. Fees quoted “plus tax” add 12.5% in Orange County and 13.5% in Osceola County (Kissimmee). For hotels that skip the fee, see Orlando hotels with no resort fees.

Hotels with a shuttle to EPCOT
To skip the bus entirely, stay at the Swan, Dolphin or Swan Reserve: walkways and water taxis reach EPCOT, with boats about every 20–25 minutes from an hour before opening.
By bus, every Disney Springs Resort Area hotel and both Bonnet Creek Early Entry resorts serve EPCOT. Budget picks with an EPCOT stop include Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista and Avanti (and Rosen Inn at its last published list), while Margaritaville’s EPCOT riders return by monorail to the TTC. More options are in hotels near EPCOT.
Hotels with a shuttle to Magic Kingdom (and the TTC transfer)
Almost every off-site shuttle, and even the Disney buses from the Swan and Dolphin, drops Magic Kingdom guests at the Transportation and Ticket Center. You then take the monorail or ferry; the Swan and Dolphin’s transportation page warns that this transfer can add 45 minutes to over an hour, depending on crowds and timing.
The Bonnet Creek shuttle listed about 15 Magic Kingdom departures a day at our early-October check, and the Hotel Plaza Boulevard hotels run hourly. Margaritaville’s operator listed two (9:15 and 10:40 a.m.) on our late-October and mid-November sample dates and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress two, while Avanti’s operator listed none and Rosen Inn’s last published list (October 2025) had none. Compare closer stays in hotels near Magic Kingdom.
Disney World hotels with an airport shuttle
We found no hotel on this list whose official pages promise a free shuttle from Orlando International Airport (MCO). Most point you to Mears Connect, a shared shuttle that cost $17.60 per adult and $14.30 per child (3–9) one way from the airport at our October check, including the airport fee, plus a 6% fuel surcharge; its Express round trip for up to four was $250 before the surcharge.
The Swan, Dolphin and Four Seasons arrange private transfers for a fee. See Orlando airport to Disney World for every option.
Hotels with free shuttles to Disney and Universal
For one base, look at Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista (including Epic Universe), Rosen Inn, Lake Buena Vista Resort Village, Ramada Kissimmee Gateway, Floridays and Avanti; Margaritaville adds Universal and SeaWorld. For Universal-side options, see hotels with free shuttles to Universal.
Hotels near Disney World with a free shuttle and breakfast
Drury Plaza, Buena Vista Suites, SpringHill Suites and Fairfield in the Marriott Village, the six Flamingo Crossings hotels, and the Baymont and Travelodge on US-192 pair a Disney shuttle with breakfast. Only the Drury adds Early Entry, and Home2 doesn’t state its shuttle’s cost.

Frequently asked questions
Are hotel shuttles to Disney World really free?
Sometimes. Drury Plaza and Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista run shuttles with no resort fee, and the Flamingo Crossings and Marriott Village hotels listed none at our check. Most others, from the Hotel Plaza Boulevard Hiltons to Margaritaville and Floridays, bundle the shuttle into a mandatory resort fee, so compare total prices including fees and parking.
Do off-site shuttles go to all four Disney World parks?
Not always. The Disney Springs Resort Area hotels, Bonnet Creek resorts, Caribe Royale and Buena Vista Suites list all four. Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista drops at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress’s posted schedule shows only the TTC and EPCOT, and Avanti’s operator lists no Magic Kingdom run. Ask which parks are served before you book.
How often do hotel shuttles to Disney World run?
It varies. The Swan and Dolphin’s Disney buses and boats run about every 20–25 minutes, and most Hotel Plaza Boulevard hotels run hourly from about 90 minutes before opening. Many Lake Buena Vista and Kissimmee hotels make two or three morning runs and a few evening returns, so check the last bus before fireworks.
Do I need to reserve my hotel’s Disney shuttle?
Usually. Buena Vista Palace takes bookings up to 72 hours ahead, Holiday Inn Disney Springs up to 48 hours, Margaritaville and Caribe Royale from 24 hours to 1 hour ahead, and Floridays and Avanti at least 3 hours ahead. Drury Plaza takes no reservations, and the Swan and Dolphin’s Disney transport never needs one.
Which non-Disney hotels get Early Theme Park Entry?
Disney’s current list names the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve, Four Seasons, Waldorf Astoria, Signia, Shades of Green and the eight Disney Springs Resort Area hotels: both Hiltons, both Wyndhams, Drury Plaza, Holiday Inn, DoubleTree Suites and Renaissance. Disney says the perk continues through 2027; Gateway and Good Neighbor labels don’t include it.
Bottom line
For most families, the best hotel near Disney World with a free shuttle is Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando: no resort fee, buses to all four parks, free breakfast and Early Entry. Choose the Swan or Dolphin for Disney’s own transport, or Buena Vista Suites when breakfast and parking matter, and confirm the current schedule before you go.
