The best hotels near Mall at Millenia are the twin Marriott hotels on Millenia Lakes Boulevard, Residence Inn and SpringHill Suites Orlando at Millenia, which sit about half a mile from the mall on foot and include breakfast. A newer Fairfield Inn & Suites is about a mile’s walk away, and the Universal Orlando hotels are only about 10 minutes away by car.
The Mall at Millenia is Orlando’s luxury mall, at 4200 Conroy Road, just off I-4 and a few miles east of Universal Orlando. It’s a different place from the Florida Mall and from the two Premium Outlets centers. If you’re shopping for Chanel, Louis Vuitton or Apple and also doing the theme parks, this is one of the handiest bases in town.
Below are six hotels: three in the Millenia district itself, closest first, and three near Universal for shoppers who are mainly in town for the parks. We checked parking, breakfast and fees for each one, and we measured real routes rather than straight lines.
Quick answer: To walk to the shops, book Residence Inn Orlando at Millenia if you need a kitchen, or SpringHill Suites Orlando at Millenia if you just want a roomy suite. Both include a hot breakfast. Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at Millenia is the one with free self-parking at last check. Pairing the mall with Universal? DoubleTree at the Entrance to Universal is a walk from the parks and about 10 minutes from the mall by car. Hard Rock Hotel adds free Universal Express Unlimited, and Universal Aventura Hotel is the on-site option at a mid-range price.

Store and restaurant hours can differ from the mall’s hours, and holiday hours change, so check the store page before you go. The mall also lists four standard and two Tesla charging stations for electric cars.
Some of the mall’s services are especially useful for visitors. The concierge desk in the Grand Court has multilingual staff and offers translation help, complimentary wheelchairs and ECV scooters, and information on every store. Strollers cost $25 at the time of writing, with the proceeds going to charity. Personal stylist sessions are complimentary but must be booked ahead, and they come with a minimum spend ($500 in a store, $1,000 in the mall’s private style suite). The mall also runs Millenia Direct, a free same-day delivery service for purchases from participating stores. Its visit page describes delivery to your hotel, but the Millenia Direct page itself describes phone orders delivered to your home within 40 miles, same day for orders placed by 2 p.m. Call the concierge at 407-363-3555 to confirm it will deliver to your hotel before you rely on it.
The mall describes itself as about 10 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort, 15 minutes from SeaWorld, Downtown Orlando, International Drive and the Orange County Convention Center, 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport and 30 minutes from Walt Disney World. Our OSRM routes come out at about 3 to 4 miles to Universal’s CityWalk area, about 5 miles to Epic Universe, about 13 miles to the airport and about 14 miles to EPCOT, without traffic.
How we chose these hotels
We started at the mall and measured walking and driving routes on OpenStreetMap, because I-4 and the mall’s ring road make some hotels farther than they look. Then we checked parking, breakfast, pet rules and park perks on each hotel’s official site, or on an archived copy when the brand site blocked us (marked “at last check”). We gave extra weight to an easy walk, included breakfast, free or cheap parking and quick access to Universal. We don’t give scores.

We found no resort fee on any of these six hotels’ official pages at last check, but check the final total before you pay. Orange County adds 12.5% tax to hotel stays.
1. Residence Inn by Marriott Orlando at Millenia

Marriott pitches this all-suite hotel at 5403 Millenia Lakes Boulevard with the line “shop & stay steps from the Mall at Millenia,” and the mall’s own visitor page agrees that it’s within walking distance. By our route it’s about half a mile to the mall’s nearest side, partly along the Shingle Creek Trail, or roughly 10 minutes on foot. The suites are apartment-style, with fully equipped kitchens and separate living areas. Outside there’s a heated pool, open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. at last check, plus a 24-hour gym and MIXERS Bar & Grill, which it shares with the SpringHill Suites next door.
- Why stay: You can walk to the shops, unload your bags and go back again, and the kitchen saves money on longer stays.
- Getting there / to the parks: Walk to the mall. Marriott lists no airport shuttle, and we found no theme park shuttle, so you’ll need a car or rideshare for the parks. By our route Universal’s CityWalk area is about 2.7 miles, or around 8 minutes by car.
- Good to know: At last check, Marriott listed on-site parking at $19 a day and warned that spaces are limited. A free hot breakfast runs 6:30 to 9 a.m. on weekdays and 7 to 9:30 a.m. on weekends. Up to two pets of 40 pounds or less are allowed for a $100 non-refundable fee per stay. You must be 18 to check in.
Best for: Families and longer stays that want a kitchen and an easy walk to the mall.

2. SpringHill Suites by Marriott Orlando at Millenia

SpringHill Suites shares the Millenia Lakes Boulevard site with the Residence Inn, so the walk to the mall is the same, about half a mile. Marriott describes its suites as spacious, with separate living areas, a microwave, a refrigerator and a work desk, but no full kitchen. Breakfast is a free buffet, served in the morning at MIXERS Bar & Grill, which turns into a bar and grill with shared plates and local beers in the evening. There’s also an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center.
- Why stay: You get the same short walk as the Residence Inn, with a sitting area to spread out in if you don’t need to cook.
- Getting there / to the parks: Walk to the mall. Marriott lists no airport shuttle, and we found no theme park shuttle, so plan on driving or rideshare to Universal, SeaWorld and Disney. Marriott lists a nearby bus stop at Millenia Boulevard and Topiary Drive.
- Good to know: At last check, parking was $19 a day with limited spaces. Breakfast hours are the same as the Residence Inn’s, and so is the pet policy: two pets up to 40 pounds for a $100 fee per stay.
The mall’s visitor page also advertises a “Marriott at Millenia” shopping package for both hotels. It includes breakfast, a $50 Millenia gift card, exclusive offers and a tote bag. Packages come and go, so ask the hotel whether it’s available for your dates.
Best for: Couples and small families who mainly want to shop and want breakfast included.

The drive is about 1.5 miles, around 5 minutes. It’s a simple hotel with an outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, guest laundry and a small market.

- Good to know: At last check, Marriott listed complimentary on-site parking, plus a free continental and hot breakfast from 6 to 10 a.m. daily. Pets aren’t allowed, you must be 21 to check in, and the hotel is 100% cashless, so bring a card.

Hilton also says the Mall at Millenia is within two miles; our driving routes come out closer to 3 miles, roughly 9 minutes. - Good to know: At last check, self-parking was $34 a day and valet $44, plus tax. Breakfast costs extra. Pets up to 60 pounds are accepted for a $75 non-refundable fee.

5. Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando

Hard Rock Hotel at 5800 Universal Boulevard is a walk from CityWalk, Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, and about 3 miles, around 10 minutes, from the mall by our route. Its main draw is free Universal Express Unlimited for registered guests, which lets you use the shorter Express lines at participating rides as often as you like. Loews says it covers Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, including select Wizarding World of Harry Potter attractions, but not Epic Universe or Volcano Bay. You still need park tickets. The big pool has a sand beach and a long slide, and our full Hard Rock Hotel Orlando review goes through the rooms.
- Why stay: Shorter lines at the two original parks, plus easy evening trips to the mall.
- Getting there / to the parks: Walk to CityWalk and the two original parks, or take the free water taxi to CityWalk. Free Universal shuttles go to Epic Universe. For the mall, drive or take a rideshare.

Best for: Splurge trips that combine designer shopping with ride-heavy park days.
6. Universal Aventura Hotel

It’s about 4.5 miles from the mall by road, or 9 to 11 minutes depending on direction. Rooms are compact and modern, there’s a rooftop bar, Bar 17 Bistro, and the Urban Pantry food hall handles quick meals. Our Universal Aventura Hotel guide has the room details.

Getting to the Mall at Millenia without a car
From the Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites or (on a cooler day) Fairfield, you can simply walk. From elsewhere, these are the options the mall and the transit agency list:
- LYNX bus: LYNX lists Links 24 and 40 for the Mall at Millenia. Link 40 is also among the routes LYNX lists for Universal Orlando, and Link 24 for Orlando International Premium Outlets. At the time of writing, a single ride is $2 and an all-day pass, bought from the driver, is $4.50. Allow extra time, because buses are much slower than driving.

- Car service: The concierge can book Mears town cars or limousines.
SunRail, the commuter train, doesn’t stop at the mall, so it isn’t much use for a shopping day. Our guide to getting around Orlando without a car covers buses, trolleys and shuttles in more detail.

They share a site on Millenia Lakes Boulevard, about half a mile or roughly 10 minutes on foot from the mall by our route, and the mall itself describes them as within walking distance. Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at Millenia is about a mile’s walk, and Hilton Garden Inn on Millenia Place Drive is a little farther.
How far is the Mall at Millenia from Universal Orlando?
The mall describes itself as about 10 minutes from Universal Orlando Resort. By our routes it’s roughly 3 to 4 miles by road to the Universal hotels and the CityWalk area, depending on which part of the resort you’re going to, and about 5 miles to Epic Universe. Traffic on I-4, Kirkman Road and Conroy Road can make the trip longer at rush hour, so leave extra time on weekday evenings.
Can you take a bus from Universal to the Mall at Millenia?
Yes. LYNX lists Link 40 among the routes serving both Universal Orlando and the Mall at Millenia, and Link 24 also serves the mall. At the time of writing, a single ride costs $2 and an all-day pass bought from the driver costs $4.50. Buses are slower than a car, so for one quick trip a rideshare is usually the easier choice. Check the LYNX trip planner for current stops and times.
What are the Mall at Millenia’s hours?
At the time of writing, the mall’s website lists Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Individual stores and restaurants can keep different hours, and holiday hours change, so check the store’s page on the mall’s site before you go, especially if you’re shopping for one particular boutique.
Does the Mall at Millenia deliver purchases to your hotel?
Possibly. The mall’s visit page describes Millenia Direct as free same-day delivery to your hotel from participating stores, seven days a week. The service’s own page, however, describes phone orders delivered to your home within 40 miles, same day for orders placed by 2 p.m. Only some stores take part, so call the concierge at 407-363-3555 to confirm hotel delivery before you buy.
Is the Mall at Millenia close to Disney World?
Not really. The mall puts Walt Disney World about 30 minutes away, and our route to EPCOT is about 14 miles, roughly 23 minutes without traffic. That’s an easy trip for one evening of shopping, but if most of your days are at Disney, you’ll save time by staying near Disney and driving to the mall once.
Bottom line
For a shopping-focused trip, the Residence Inn and SpringHill Suites at Millenia are the only hotels where the walk to the mall really is short, and both include breakfast. Fairfield is the best value if you’re driving. If Universal is the priority, stay at or next to the resort, and the mall is only about 10 minutes away. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book. Check Residence Inn Orlando at Millenia for your dates.
