Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration is a 718-room Marriott resort on 20 acres of gardens across US-192 from the town of Celebration, and it’s built for pool days: two outdoor pools around a waterfall grotto, a children’s water slide, two whirlpools and a social lawn with fire pits. Disney lists it as a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, and in October 2026 its free scheduled shuttle ran to Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs, plus Universal and Epic Universe.
The fine print matters here. Marriott’s pages list $24-a-day parking but mention no resort fee, Booking.com’s price breakdown adds a $25 nightly resort fee, and the shuttle makes only one or two runs per park. We checked Marriott, Disney, the hotel’s 2026 property sheet and shuttle timetable, and Booking.com in October 2026.
Quick answer: Book Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration for a lively pool resort with a water slide, standard rooms for up to four and a free park shuttle, about 4.5 to 8 miles from the Disney park lots. Skip it if you need Early Entry, a kitchen, one standard room for five or a bus to Animal Kingdom or EPCOT. Budget for the $25 nightly resort fee Booking.com showed (plus 13.5% tax) and $24 a day for parking.

Location and distances
The hotel sits on Parkway Boulevard just north of US-192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway), where the road crosses into Celebration as Celebration Place. Meliá Orlando Celebration is about 0.7 miles away by road, Gaylord Palms about 2 miles and Old Town Kissimmee about 1.6 miles east. Older names linger: Booking.com’s web address still says Radisson, and Disney’s listing still shows Grand Orlando Resort in places.
Marriott and Disney put the hotel about a mile from Walt Disney World, meaning the edge of Disney property; the park lots are farther:
| Destination | By road | Drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Old Town Kissimmee | About 1.6 mi | 5 min |
| Celebration town center | About 1.9 mi | 6 min |
| ESPN Wide World of Sports | About 4.3 to 4.7 mi | 12 min |
| Hollywood Studios parking | About 4.5 to 5.5 mi | 14 to 16 min |
| Animal Kingdom parking | About 5.3 to 5.5 mi | 11 to 13 min |
| EPCOT main lot | About 6 to 7 mi | 12 to 16 min |
| Disney Springs | About 6 to 6.5 mi | 11 to 14 min |
| Magic Kingdom (TTC) | About 7.5 to 8 mi | 13 to 14 min |
| SeaWorld Orlando | About 8.3 to 8.9 mi | 14 to 16 min |
| Epic Universe parking | About 11.5 to 12.5 mi | 19 to 21 min |
| Universal (main garages) | About 12 to 14 mi | 19 to 23 min |
| Orlando airport (MCO) | About 20.5 mi | 32 min, toll roads |
Distances and free-flow times are OSRM routes on public roads (October 2026), there and back; allow extra time at rush hour. Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are the closest lots, so compare our hotels near Animal Kingdom. The short drive to the sports complex also puts the hotel on our list of hotels near ESPN Wide World of Sports.
Can you walk to Celebration?
You can, but it’s about 1.8 miles and 40 minutes each way to Market Street, starting with the US-192 crossing at Parkway Boulevard, so driving (about 6 minutes) is easier. Marriott’s dining page lists Charley’s Steak House (0.2 miles), Kobe Japanese Steakhouse (0.3 miles) and Alma Argentina (0.5 miles) much closer, along the highway. If strolling the lakeside town matters most, see our guide to the best hotels in Celebration, Florida.
Rooms and suites
Disney’s listing counts 718 rooms in six buildings with eight floors. Marriott describes standard rooms of 350 sq ft (Booking.com says 33 m²) with premium bedding, a 55-inch HDTV for streaming, a mini-fridge, a coffee and tea maker, a desk and complimentary bottled water.
| Room type | Size | Beds | Max guests |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guest room, king | 350 sq ft | 1 king | 2 |
| Guest room, two queens | 350 sq ft | 2 queens | 4 |
| Pool-view king or two queens | 350 sq ft | 1 king or 2 queens | 2 or 4 |
| 1 Bedroom Presidential Suite | 1,244 sq ft | Bedroom + sofa bed | 4 |
| 2 Bedroom Suite | Not listed | 4 queens + sofa bed | 7 |

The Presidential Suite adds a separate living room and dining room and two bathrooms, though Marriott doesn’t list its bed size. The 2 Bedroom Suite has two queens in each bedroom, a sofa bed and two bathrooms. Neither lists a kitchen. On our November 2026 and January 2027 sample dates, Booking.com sold only king and two-queen rooms, so ask the hotel or Marriott about suites.
Families of five should check the bed rules. Marriott allows one crib per room and a rollaway only in pool-view rooms and the Presidential Suite, while Booking.com says cribs are free on request for children up to 2 and no extra beds are available. A larger family usually needs connecting rooms (Marriott says some are available) or the 2 Bedroom Suite. Accessible king and two-queen rooms have an adapted tub or a roll-in shower.
Pools and recreation
The pools are the main reason to book. Marriott lists a Main Pool and a Second Pool, both outdoors with towels provided, around a rock grotto with waterfalls, plus a children’s water slide and two whirlpools, one on each side of the pool. Rum Shack staff deliver food and drinks to your lounge chair.

Check the hours on arrival, because the hotel’s own sources disagree: Marriott’s pages say 10 AM to 10 PM for the pools and 10 AM until dusk for the slide, while the 2026 property sheet says 7 AM to 10 PM and closes the slide at 7 PM. Marriott doesn’t say whether the pools are heated, so ask before a winter trip.
Social lawn, courts and classes

Beside the pool, the Social Lawn has lounge sofas, picnic tables and fire pits, with lawn games to borrow from the front desk. Basketball, tennis and sand volleyball courts are open from 8 AM to 10 PM, and Marriott lists daily classes such as yoga, Aqua Zumba and Aqua Yoga.
Dining and breakfast
Marriott lists five places to eat and drink plus in-room dining, with these hours at the time of writing:
| Venue | What it serves | Hours (Marriott) |
|---|---|---|
| The Pointe | Hot breakfast buffet | 6:30 to 11 AM weekdays, 7 AM to noon weekends |
| Marketplace serving Starbucks | Coffee, grab-and-go | 6 AM to 11 PM |
| Waves Bar and Grille | American dishes, cocktails | Noon to 11 PM (midnight Fri-Sat) |
| Rum Shack Pool Bar | Tiki bar, lunch and dinner | 11 AM to 8 PM (10 PM Fri-Sat) |
| Ice Cream Shack | Hershey’s ice cream, ICEE | 10 AM to 11 PM |
| In-room dining | Pickup or delivery | 6 AM to 11 PM |

The 2026 property sheet lists different hours for Waves (4 PM to midnight, Tuesday to Saturday), the Ice Cream Shack (6 AM to 10 PM) and room service (from 11 AM; Marriott’s room details say 7 AM to 1 PM), so check what’s posted at the hotel. Waves is the main sit-down spot for lunch and dinner, with pool views and no bathing suits allowed. Breakfast is available for a fee, Marriott says; at the time of writing, Booking.com listed it at US$21.95 on some rates and included it on others.
Parking and fees
- Parking: $24 a day, per Marriott’s guest page and the property sheet. No valet is listed. The hotel’s link page advertises Marriott packages such as “Book with Us, Park for Free”, which apply only to bookings made with Marriott.
- Resort fee: Marriott’s pages and Disney’s listing don’t mention one, but Booking.com’s breakdown added US$25 a night on two sample stays, with Osceola County’s 13.5% tax charged on the room and the fee. No official page says what it covers.
- Deposit: Booking.com lists a US$150 refundable damage deposit, taken by credit card on arrival.
- Check-in times: 4 PM check-in and 11 AM checkout. A Marriott add-on site sells guaranteed early check-in from 11 AM and late checkout until 4 PM on select dates for standard rooms, for a fee.
- Wi-Fi: complimentary per Disney, Booking.com and the property sheet; Marriott’s guest page says high-speed Wi-Fi is free for Marriott Bonvoy members (its 2025 FAQ added “when they book direct”), and its room data lists Wi-Fi “for a fee” in the 2 Bedroom Suite.
Open the price breakdown before you confirm; our Orlando resort fees explained guide shows how these charges work. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
Getting to the parks: shuttle and driving
Disney and Marriott both promise a free shuttle to the Walt Disney World theme parks. The hotel’s October 2026 timetable, run by Firefighters All Services, adds Universal and Epic Universe, and the operator’s booking system priced every route at $0.00:
| Destination | Leaves hotel | Returns from park |
|---|---|---|
| Magic Kingdom (TTC) | 8:55 and 10:30 AM | 9:00 and 10:30 PM |
| Hollywood Studios | 10:30 and 11:25 AM | 8:45 and 10:15 PM |
| Disney Springs | 4:15 PM | 10:45 PM |
| Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure | 7:15 AM | 7:15 PM |
| Epic Universe | 7:15 AM | 7:00 PM |
There’s no Animal Kingdom or EPCOT run; the operator labels the Magic Kingdom bus “Magic Kingdom / TTC / Monorail to Epcot”. September’s timetable had a third Magic Kingdom run at 11:40 AM, so times change monthly. The property sheet also lists SeaWorld, but the October timetable and booking system don’t.
Be at the pickup point 10 minutes early. Groups of nine or more can’t ride, only umbrella strollers are allowed, and there’s no free service to Disney’s special-ticket parties. Reservations are inconsistent: Marriott’s guest page says to reserve two or more hours ahead at DeltaOrlandoBus.com, which now forwards to another bus company, while the timetable calls seats first-come, first-served and prints a QR code to reserve. Book where you can and confirm with the concierge.
Driving is more flexible. Disney charges $35 a day for standard theme park parking, tax included, and Disney Springs parking is free; our Orlando theme park parking guide compares each resort. The hotel isn’t on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list, and off-site guests get the 3-day Lightning Lane window, not the 7-day one. Marriott listed no airport shuttle at last check (December 2025); MCO is about 20.5 miles by road.
Amenities: fitness, pets, laundry and Wi-Fi
The free 24-hour fitness center has cardio machines, free weights and weight machines. There’s no spa; Marriott points to the Relâche Spa at Gaylord Palms and the AdventHealth Wellness Center nearby. Guest laundry is on the second floor of each guest building, and there’s a 24-hour grab-and-go sundries shop.

Pets are welcome. At last check (Marriott, December 2025), the hotel allowed up to two pets of 75 pounds or less for a $75 non-refundable fee per stay, in first-floor two-queen rooms only; Booking.com says charges may apply. Smoking and vaping are banned indoors (the smoking area is under the gazebo), with cleaning charges of up to $200. Marriott also lists 13,327 sq ft of event space, with a ballroom for up to 500.
Who Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration suits
It works best for families with younger kids who’ll split days between Disney and the pool, and for sports teams at ESPN Wide World of Sports, about 4.5 miles away. Marriott Bonvoy points and member perks generally apply only when you book with Marriott directly.
It’s a weaker fit for five in one standard room, kitchen seekers, Early Entry fans and Universal-focused trips (that bus runs once each way). Comparing brands? See our guide to Marriott hotels near Disney World.
