DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld is a 28-acre, 1,042-room resort at 10100 International Drive. SeaWorld lists it as within walking distance of the park. Since early 2026 it has a new name, DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Theme Park Resort, and that’s how Hilton and Booking.com list it now. Many travelers still search for it under the old SeaWorld name.

You get a 17-story tower, two-story villa buildings around palm-lined courtyards, two pools, mini golf and a daily resort charge. We checked Hilton’s archived pages (May and June 2026), the hotel’s former website, SeaWorld’s partner page and the I-RIDE Trolley site, and measured distances ourselves.

Quick answer: Book the DoubleTree at SeaWorld if SeaWorld, Aquatica or the convention center is your main reason for the trip and you want big resort grounds close to the gate. Plan on about 20 minutes on foot to SeaWorld, $38 a night plus tax for parking and a mandatory resort charge. For Disney, you’ll mostly be driving or paying for rides, so confirm the shuttle before you book.

Location: how close is DoubleTree to SeaWorld?

The resort sits just north of SeaWorld, with Aquatica across International Drive. SeaWorld describes it as within walking distance of both parks, and Hilton puts SeaWorld, Aquatica and the Orange County Convention Center within two miles.

These are free-flow OSRM estimates to each park’s parking or entrance, so add time for traffic and trams. Hilton’s “all within six miles” is much shorter than the drive to any Disney parking lot.

Rooms, villas and suites

Rooms are split between the 17-story tower and two-story villa buildings, where rooms open onto outdoor corridors. Hilton says some tower rooms look out over SeaWorld, Aquatica and the Orlando skyline.

Standard rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe and a 55-inch streaming TV, per Hilton. Deluxe “wetbar” rooms add a vanity area and courtyard or pool views. Hilton lists connecting rooms and cribs.

For longer stays, the one-bedroom king suite has a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, sink and induction burner, plus a living room with a sofa bed. Families of five or six need the two-room deluxe suite in the villa buildings, which Hilton rates for 6.

The hotel’s own photos show tropical décor with wood paneling and louvered doors, and Hilton doesn’t flag the resort as recently renovated. If a modern room matters most, compare a newer I-Drive hotel.

Pools, mini golf and recreation

SeaWorld and the hotel’s former site both list two outdoor pools. The Lagoon Pool (Hilton also says Grand Lagoon) has a waterfall and the Barefoot Bar on its edge, and Hilton mentions water features and a kids’ pool. The second is the Family Fun Pool.

Unlimited play on the SeaWorld-themed mini golf course is part of the resort charge, along with pool table, foosball and chess. Hilton sells a Cabana & Cocktails package, and SeaWorld’s listing mentions three outdoor fire pits. Hilton doesn’t say whether the pools are heated.

Neither Hilton nor SeaWorld lists a water slide or lazy river; the Hilton Orlando nearby has both.

Dining and breakfast

Breakfast isn’t included with standard rates. Hilton’s 2026 pages list four venues, and the resort charge adds a $10 daily food and beverage credit (ask where you can use it).

VenueWhat it servesHours at last check
Laguna Restaurant & BarBreakfast, lunch, dinner, kids’ menu6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Alberto’s PizzeriaPizza, subs, Starbucks, snacks6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. (midnight Fri–Sat)
Barefoot BarFrozen drinks, light bites by the poolFrom 3 p.m. Mon–Thu, 11 a.m. Fri–Sun, to 10 p.m.
Sonoma Lobby BarWine and tapas; coffee, light bitesNot listed

Hours are from Hilton’s June 2026 page, which gives none for Sonoma. Hilton also lists room service. The hotel’s former FAQ said the resort went cashless on September 1, 2025, so bring a card.

Parking, resort charge and other fees

Here’s what the official pages said at the time of writing; confirm before you pay.

Hilton’s June 2026 page says the resort charge covers a $10 food and beverage credit, mini golf, resort games, poolside treats, two bottled waters a day, the Universal shuttle (Epic Universe included) and two I-Drive trolley tickets a day. The $25 figure comes from the December 2025 FAQ, which listed different inclusions, so the price may have changed. Look for the charge in Booking.com’s fine print.

Check-in is at 4 p.m., check-out at 11 a.m., and you must be 18 to check in. Hilton Honors perks such as points and Digital Key apply to bookings made directly with Hilton, not to Booking.com reservations.

Getting to SeaWorld, Universal and Disney

SeaWorld and Aquatica: walking is the easy option, and it saves you SeaWorld’s parking fee (from $37 plus tax a day online at last check). SeaWorld’s chart gives Hotel Partners Priority Entry, 10% off dining and 20% off merchandise purchases of $50 or more; its park shuttle perk is for Official Hotels only, and benefits can change. SeaWorld’s FAQ says you pick up a benefits card at the hotel’s guest service desk but doesn’t say whether third-party bookings qualify, so ask at check-in. Our SeaWorld Orlando guide covers tickets and Quick Queue, and the Discovery Cove guide explains the reservation-only park about two miles away.

Universal and Epic Universe: Hilton lists the Universal shuttle, Epic Universe included, as part of the resort charge. Epic Universe parking is under 3 miles away, so a rideshare is a short trip too.

Walt Disney World: here the official sources disagree. Hilton’s overview says a scheduled shuttle to SeaWorld, Walt Disney World and Universal “can be booked through our concierge,” and its amenities page (February 2026) called it complimentary, but the resort charge names only Universal. In 2025 the hotel used ThemeParkBus.com (Florida Bus Service), whose schedule page no longer listed it in October 2026. Ask for the current Disney schedule and price. Driving, budget $35 a day for Disney parking.

I-RIDE Trolley: the Red Line runs along International Drive to SeaWorld about every 20 minutes from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. (single fare $2), so the two daily trolley tickets cover short I-Drive hops.

One common mix-up: the “DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando” on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list is the all-suite hotel near Disney Springs. Disney’s current list (English Canada page, October 2026) doesn’t include this resort.

Amenities: fitness, Wi-Fi, pets and more

  • Fitness: a fitness center, open 24 hours per SeaWorld’s listing.
  • Wi-Fi: Hilton lists free Wi-Fi, but Hilton ties free standard Wi-Fi to Honors members booking direct, so confirm what applies to a Booking.com stay.
  • Pets: dogs up to 70 pounds in designated rooms, $50 non-refundable fee; tell the hotel in advance.
  • Services: a concierge desk, over 100,000 square feet of meeting space and a UPS Store listed at the resort’s address; the former website also listed 24-hour self-service laundry.
  • Smoking: Hilton describes 100% smoke-free grounds; ask about any designated outdoor area.

Who the DoubleTree at SeaWorld suits

It suits families doing SeaWorld, Aquatica or Discovery Cove who want to skip park parking and return for a pool break, convention-goers who like resort grounds, and travelers mixing SeaWorld with Epic Universe. For a Disney-heavy trip, stay near Lake Buena Vista instead.

Pros

  • Walking distance to SeaWorld and Aquatica, so no park parking fee.
  • Large, landscaped grounds with two pools, mini golf and fire pits.
  • Suites with kitchens and two-room layouts that sleep up to 6.
  • Resort charge includes a daily $10 food credit, trolley tickets and the Universal shuttle.
  • Pet-friendly, with dogs up to 70 pounds.

Limitations to know

  • Mandatory resort charge plus $38 a night parking add up on a long stay.
  • No recent renovation is flagged, so expect classic tropical-style rooms.
  • Villa rooms open onto outdoor corridors.
  • Standard rooms sleep only 4; larger groups need a suite or two rooms.
  • Disney shuttle details conflict between official pages; no Disney Early Entry.
  • No water slide or lazy river.

What to check before you book

  • The current resort charge amount and whether your Booking.com rate shows it.
  • Whether the Disney and SeaWorld shuttles run on your dates, and if they cost extra.
  • Tower or villa: ask for the tower if you want a view, or a villa room if you prefer low-rise courtyards.
  • Bed setup and the 4-guest limit in standard rooms.
  • Pet-friendly room availability if you’re bringing a dog.
  • Pool heating if you’re traveling between December and February.

Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book. Check your dates for the DoubleTree Orlando Theme Park Resort on Booking.com

Frequently asked questions

Can you walk from DoubleTree at SeaWorld to SeaWorld?

Yes. SeaWorld lists the resort as within walking distance of SeaWorld and Aquatica. Our walking-route estimate is about 0.8 to 1 mile to SeaWorld’s main entrance, or 17 to 23 minutes, depending on your building. Walking also saves SeaWorld’s daily parking fee, which started at $37 plus tax online at last check.

Does DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld have a resort fee?

Yes, a mandatory daily resort charge. Hilton’s 2026 pages say it covers a $10 food and beverage credit, mini golf, games, two bottled waters, the Universal shuttle and two I-Drive trolley tickets a day. They don’t show the amount. The hotel’s own FAQ listed $25 a night plus tax in late 2025, so confirm the current charge when you book.

Does DoubleTree Orlando at SeaWorld have a shuttle to Disney and Universal?

The resort charge includes shuttle service to the Universal parks, including Epic Universe, according to Hilton. Hilton also mentions a scheduled shuttle to Walt Disney World and SeaWorld booked through the concierge, but it isn’t listed in the resort charge and the former bus operator no longer lists the hotel. Ask for the current schedule and price.

How much is parking at DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld?

Self-parking was $38 a night plus tax at last check, according to Hilton’s June 2026 page and the hotel’s FAQ, with in-and-out privileges. There’s no valet, and Hilton describes the lots as secured. Add the resort charge when you compare total costs.

Is the DoubleTree Orlando Theme Park Resort the same hotel as DoubleTree at SeaWorld?

Yes. DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld was renamed DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Theme Park Resort in early 2026. It’s the same 28-acre resort at 10100 International Drive. Hilton, SeaWorld and Booking.com now use the new name. Don’t confuse it with DoubleTree Suites near Disney Springs or the DoubleTree at the entrance to Universal, which are separate hotels.

Is DoubleTree at SeaWorld pet friendly?

Yes. The hotel accepts dogs up to 70 pounds in designated pet-friendly rooms, with a $50 non-refundable fee per stay, according to Hilton and the hotel’s own pet policy. Tell the hotel in advance so a pet-friendly room is ready. Service animals are welcome.

Bottom line

The DoubleTree by Hilton at SeaWorld, now the DoubleTree Orlando Theme Park Resort, is a spacious base if SeaWorld, Aquatica or the convention center is your focus: you can walk to the park, and the suites sleep up to six. Budget for the resort charge and $38 parking, don’t expect brand-new rooms, and confirm the Disney shuttle before you book. Compare rates for the DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Theme Park Resort
