This SeaWorld Orlando guide covers what you need to plan a day at the park in late 2026 and early 2027: which ticket to buy, when Quick Queue pays off, what parking costs, which rides your kids can do and where to stay if you’d rather skip the parking lot. Prices and policies come from SeaWorld’s own pages, checked in early October 2026, and they change by date, so confirm them for your trip.
SeaWorld Orlando is at 7007 Sea World Drive, in the southern part of the International Drive hotel area, near I-4 and the Beachline Expressway (SR 528). It mixes big coasters such as Mako and Pipeline with orca, dolphin and sea lion presentations, Sesame Street Land for small children and two sister parks nearby, Aquatica and Discovery Cove.
Quick answer: Buy a date-specific ticket online (from $59.99 for US, Puerto Rico and Canada residents at the time of writing), pre-pay parking ($37 plus tax for general parking) and add Quick Queue Unlimited only if most of your group is 54 inches or taller and you’re going on a busy day. One full day covers the park. To skip parking altogether, stay at one of SeaWorld’s 12 Official Hotels, whose perks include a SeaWorld shuttle (schedules vary by hotel).

SeaWorld Orlando tickets: which one to buy
Online tickets are tied to a date, and the price moves with demand. Children 3 and older need a ticket. Here is what SeaWorld’s ticket page listed on October 5, 2026, per person before tax and fees:
| Ticket | From (online) | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Single-Day Ticket | $59.99 | One visit on the date you pick |
| Any Day Ticket | $99.99 | One visit within six months |
| Two-Day Two Park | $106 total | Two visits across four parks |
| Three-Day Three Park | $135 total | Three visits across four parks |
| Four Parks Unlimited | $249.99 | 14 straight days plus general parking |
| 2027 Fun Card | $144.99 | Rest of 2026 plus 2027, with blockouts |
The “four parks” are SeaWorld, Aquatica, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island. On the multi-park tickets, later visits must fall within 14 days of the first one.
- Who qualifies: the fine print on the online Single-Day offer limits it to residents of the US, Puerto Rico and Canada, so international visitors should check what their checkout allows.
- Changing dates: SeaWorld’s “zero change fee” policy lets you move a date-specific ticket by calling 407-545-5550. You pay the difference for a pricier date, with no refund for a cheaper one.
- All-Day Dining: $40 added to a single-day ticket at the time of writing, for an entrée, a side or dessert and a soft drink once every 90 minutes at eight counter-service restaurants.
- Fun Card blockouts: SeaWorld is blocked out on October 17 and 24 and December 22 and 24–26, 2026, and the card excludes Howl-O-Scream and parking.
- Busch Gardens day trip: the ticket page advertises a complimentary daily round-trip shuttle from Orlando to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, handy with a multi-park ticket; reserve on 1-800-221-1339.
Quick Queue and Reserved Seating: are they worth it?
Quick Queue is SeaWorld’s paid front-of-line pass. You still need admission, prices vary by date, and everyone 3 or older needs their own. The options at the time of writing:
- Quick Queue Unlimited (from $29.99): unlimited front-of-line access for one day on Mako, Manta, Kraken, Pipeline, Ice Breaker, Infinity Falls and Journey to Atlantis. The booking widget also showed $59.99, so price your own date.
- Reserved Seating + Quick Queue Unlimited PLUS (from $49.99): the same rides, plus one entry each on Penguin Trek and Expedition Odyssey and one reserved seat at the orca, dolphin and sea lion stadium shows (arrive 30 minutes early).
- Reserved Seating (from $19.99): show seating only.
Quick Queue is non-refundable and may not include the front row. It pays off on weekends, holidays and event days, and for groups who want to re-ride the big coasters. If your kids are under 54 inches, four of the seven Quick Queue rides are off limits to them, so Reserved Seating, or nothing, is often the better buy.
SeaWorld Orlando rides and height requirements
SeaWorld calls Mako Orlando’s tallest and fastest roller coaster, at up to 73 mph and 200 feet. Heights are checked at each ride, so measure your kids before you go:

| Ride | Type | Minimum height | Quick Queue |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mako | Hyper coaster | 54 in | Yes |
| Kraken | Floorless coaster | 54 in | Yes |
| Manta | Flying coaster | 54 in | Yes |
| Pipeline: The Surf Coaster | Surf coaster | 54 in | Yes |
| Ice Breaker | Launch coaster | 48 in | Yes |
| Journey to Atlantis | Water coaster | 42 in* | Yes |
| Infinity Falls | River rapids | 42 in* | Yes |
| Penguin Trek | Family launch coaster | 42 in* | PLUS only, once |
| Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice | Motion ride | 39 in | PLUS only, once |
| Super Grover’s Box Car Derby | Kids’ coaster | 38 in | No |
| Elmo’s Choo Choo Train | Kids’ train | 36 in | No |
*Riders from 42 to 48 inches need a supervising companion. Penguin Trek also has a 78-inch maximum and ends at a real penguin habitat.

Expedition Odyssey now runs as Expedition Odyssey: Fire & Ice, a new story-driven version of the Arctic motion ride that still ends with live beluga whales and walruses. SeaWorld also lists SEAQuest: Legends of the Deep, billed as a first-of-its-kind suspended dark ride, as “coming soon”, with no opening date posted at the time of writing.

Check ride hours on the day: Journey to Atlantis was listed at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Only the Sky Tower and the paddle boats cost extra.
Sesame Street Land and visiting with young kids
Sesame Street Land has the 123 stoop, Hooper’s Store, a parade and pint-size rides such as Abby’s Flower Tower, Cookie Drop!, Slimey’s Slider and Sunny Day Carousel, plus the Rubber Duckie Water Works splash zone.

- Free Preschool Card: Florida-resident children 5 and under get free admission to SeaWorld and Aquatica for the year. 2026 registration is closed; SeaWorld says 2027 registration opens in January 2027.
- Strollers: single and double strollers are rented near Guest Services, and a double could be reserved online for $42 before your visit day at the time of writing.
- Quiet stops: SeaWorld suggests the Dolphin Nursery and the Sea Lions: Flippers, Facts & Fun show for preschoolers.
For naps, strollers and age-by-age park picks, see our guide to Orlando with toddlers.
Shows, animal encounters and 2026–27 events
Admission covers the shows, exhibits and aquariums, and the FAQ says SeaWorld runs orca presentations daily; check the app for times. Animal tours cost extra, and Sharks Underwater Grill takes same-day seating requests at its host stand after 10 a.m. Events on SeaWorld’s calendar at the time of writing:
- Halloween Spooktacular: select dates through November 1, 2026, a daytime family event with trick-or-treating.
- Howl-O-Scream: select nights through October 31, 2026, from 7 p.m., on a separate ticket (from $47.99 online).
- Christmas Celebration: select dates, November 6, 2026, to January 4, 2027, with fireworks on New Year’s Eve per the FAQ.
- 2027: Seven Seas Food Festival (February to May) and Electric Ocean on summer nights.
Park hours, parking and getting to SeaWorld
In October 2026, SeaWorld’s calendar showed the park opening at 9 or 9:30 a.m. and closing at 6 or 7 p.m., with weekday hours shorter than weekends and Howl-O-Scream running 7 p.m. to midnight on event nights. Check the calendar for your date.
SeaWorld Orlando parking
At the time of writing, SeaWorld’s online parking page listed general parking at $37 plus tax, preferred at $47 and VIP (the closest spaces) at $62 per vehicle. The FAQ on that page still says parking “starts at $35”, so expect prices to vary. Pre-paying speeds up entry, cash isn’t accepted if you pay on arrival, and Florida Silver, Gold and Platinum Pass Members park free in general parking. There’s a pet kennel at the entrance ($25 a day) but no EV charging.
Driving times from SeaWorld
We measured road routes from SeaWorld’s parking entrance with OSRM (OpenStreetMap routing). Times assume no traffic:
| To | Road distance | Drive time |

| Aquatica | About 2 miles | 6–9 min |
| Discovery Cove | About 1.5 miles | About 8 min |
| ICON Park (I-Drive) | About 4 miles | About 9 min |

| Universal Studios Florida | About 7 miles | About 16 min |
| EPCOT main parking | About 9 miles | 17–21 min |

Getting there without a car
The I-RIDE Trolley’s Red Line runs along International Drive to SeaWorld, with a $2 single fare (exact change) and passes from $8 a day. LYNX lists Route 350 as its “Destination Parkway/SeaWorld/Disney Express”; SeaWorld’s directions page still cites an older route, so check golynx.com first. Our guide to getting around Orlando without a car compares the options.
Weather-or-Not Assurance: what happens if it rains
SeaWorld’s Weather-or-Not Assurance gives you a free return visit, year-round, if:
- bad weather closes the park early or cuts its operating hours;
- rides close for more than 60 minutes because of lightning, strong winds, heat, rain or snow; or
- the heat index in the park reaches 110 degrees or higher.
Claim it at Guest Relations or through SeaWorld’s online form within one week, with your original ticket or order number. Pass Member admission, complimentary tickets, 14-Day Length of Stay tickets and packages, and Discovery Cove packages are excluded, and parking, lockers and Quick Queue aren’t covered on the return visit.
Adding Aquatica or Discovery Cove
Aquatica Orlando is SeaWorld’s water park, about 2 miles by road from SeaWorld’s parking entrance. Single-day tickets started at $51.99 online at the time of writing, and the multi-park tickets above include it. Our Orlando water parks guide compares it with Disney’s and Universal’s water parks.
Discovery Cove is an all-inclusive day resort with limited daily attendance; its FAQ suggests booking about two months ahead for summer and holidays. Admission includes meals, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and select beer and wine, plus a wetsuit, snorkel gear, towels, lockers and parking. Dolphin swimmers must be at least 6 years old and 42 inches tall, and kids 6 to 12 swim with a paying adult. An early-booking sale for visits through 2027, ending October 18, 2026, showed Day Resort packages from $139.80 and dolphin-swim packages from $180 per person; “+ 2 Parks” versions add 14 consecutive days at SeaWorld and Aquatica.

Frequently asked questions
How much are SeaWorld Orlando tickets?
At the time of writing, SeaWorld’s online single-day ticket started at $59.99 per person for ages 3 and up, before tax and fees, for residents of the US, Puerto Rico and Canada, with the price changing by date. An Any Day Ticket cost $99.99, a Two-Day Two Park ticket $106 and a 2027 Fun Card $144.99. Children 2 and under get in free. Price your exact date on SeaWorld’s site before you commit.
How much is parking at SeaWorld Orlando?
SeaWorld’s online parking page listed general parking at $37 plus tax per vehicle, preferred at $47 and VIP at $62 at the time of writing, although the FAQ on the same page says rates start at $35. Cash isn’t accepted when you pay on arrival. Florida Silver, Gold and Platinum Pass Members park free in general parking, and Official Hotel guests can use their hotel’s SeaWorld shuttle instead.
Is Quick Queue worth it at SeaWorld Orlando?
It’s worth it on weekends, holidays and event days if your group rides the big coasters. Quick Queue Unlimited (from $29.99) covers Mako, Manta, Kraken, Pipeline, Ice Breaker, Infinity Falls and Journey to Atlantis. Penguin Trek and Expedition Odyssey get one entry each only with the PLUS version. Families whose kids are under 54 inches usually get less value.
Can you do SeaWorld Orlando in one day?
Yes. SeaWorld’s own FAQ says a single-day ticket is enough for a full experience. In one day you can fit in the main coasters, a few presentations and Sesame Street Land if you arrive at opening and plan shows around the schedule in the app. Add a second day only for Aquatica, Discovery Cove or a slower pace with small children.
What happens if it rains at SeaWorld Orlando?
The park usually stays open, and Weather-or-Not Assurance gives you a free return visit if weather closes the park early, shuts rides for more than 60 minutes or pushes the heat index to 110 degrees. Claim it within one week. If a named storm threatens, Discovery Cove’s FAQ says tickets and packages bought directly from the parks can be rescheduled or refunded without fees.
Bottom line
For a smooth SeaWorld day, pick your date first, then buy the ticket, parking and any Quick Queue online for that date, and keep the Weather-or-Not rules in mind if storms roll in. Families with small kids should plan around Sesame Street Land and the 42-inch rides, while thrill seekers get the most from Quick Queue. If you’d rather leave the car behind, an Official Hotel such as the Renaissance puts you across the street with a free shuttle.
