Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway is a 500-room budget hotel on US-192 in Kissimmee, about a mile from Walt Disney World according to the hotel. It runs a complimentary scheduled shuttle to the Disney theme parks, Universal Orlando (including Epic Universe), SeaWorld Orlando and nearby outlet shopping. A Walmart Supercenter is about a 9-minute walk away.

The low rates aren’t the whole bill: Wyndham lists a mandatory $20.43 nightly resort fee, and the hotel doesn’t publish shuttle times online. Quick answer: Book the Ramada Gateway if you want a cheap Disney-area base with free parking and a park shuttle covered by the resort fee, and you can plan around fixed departure times. Choose a Deluxe Tower room for elevators and interior corridors, or a Standard Inn room for a pet or a drive-up door. For Early Theme Park Entry, pick a hotel on Disney’s Early Entry list; to rope-drop on your own schedule, drive.

Location: how far is Ramada Kissimmee Gateway from Disney, Universal and SeaWorld?

The hotel sits at the corner of US-192 and Old Lake Wilson Road, west of I-4. Some booking sites file it under Celebration or Orlando, but the address is Kissimmee.

We measured road distances to each park’s guest parking with OSRM in October 2026. The hotel’s area guide quotes shorter figures (4 miles to Hollywood Studios, 5 to EPCOT, 6 to Magic Kingdom).

Traffic on US-192 and I-4 adds time at rush hour and park closing. Wyndham’s page puts the airport “25 minutes away” (and labels it ORL, Orlando Executive’s code), but Orlando International (MCO) is about 23 miles by road. No airport shuttle is listed.

Ramada Kissimmee Gateway shuttle: where it goes and how it works

The hotel’s website and FAQ promise “complimentary scheduled shuttle service” to the Disney theme parks, Universal Orlando, Epic Universe, SeaWorld Orlando and nearby shopping. Some booking sites even list the hotel as “Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway – Free Theme Park Shuttle”.

Is the shuttle free?

There’s no per-ride charge, but every guest pays the $20.43 nightly resort fee, and third-party listings put “shuttle service” among what it covers. If you need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, Wyndham lists “complimentary accessible transportation with advance notice”, so tell the hotel before you arrive.

Is there a Ramada Kissimmee Gateway shuttle schedule?

Not online. On October 13, 2026, neither ramadagateway.com nor Wyndham’s page listed departure or return times, or said whether seats must be reserved, so treat times you see on other sites as unconfirmed. Ask at check-in, or call the front desk at +1 407-966-4410:

• When the first bus leaves for each park, and how long before opening it arrives.
• When each return run leaves, especially on fireworks nights.
• Whether you must sign up, how far ahead, and whether seats run out.
• Which Disney parks are served on which days.
• Where it drops off and picks up at Magic Kingdom and Universal.

Getting to Disney World from the Ramada Gateway

Disney’s prices are from its parking page at the time of writing. Five park days at the standard rate add $175, while parking at the hotel is free.

Shuttle to Universal and Epic Universe

Universal’s parks and Epic Universe are 14 to 15 miles up I-4, so the Ramada is a Disney-side base that can also reach Universal. Ask whether one bus serves both, and when the last one returns. Rooms: Deluxe Tower vs Standard Inn

The property has two parts. The Deluxe Tower is a multi-story block with interior corridors and elevators. The Standard Inn, as the hotel’s photos show, is a set of two-story wings around the pools and courtyard. Wyndham says the whole hotel is non-smoking.

• Deluxe Tower and Suites: about 320 sq ft (29.7 m²), “slightly larger” than standard rooms per the hotel, with interior corridors, elevators and in-room safes.
• Standard Inn: about 280 sq ft (26 m²), with drive-up or garden, pool and courtyard-view rooms off exterior corridors. These are the only rooms that take pets. The hotel mentions elevators only for the Tower, so ask for a ground floor if stairs are a problem.

Watch the king rooms. The Standard King description says its sleeper sofa lets it “easily accommodate up to four guests”, but the same listing caps it at two guests. Families of four should book two queens or confirm with the hotel.

The Tower accessible room has a roll-in shower with a seat and visual alarms; the Standard Inn one has a tub with grab bars. The amenities page says handicap access is “in the Tower only”, so confirm before you book.

Which should you pick? The Tower for elevators, interior hallways and a little more space. The Standard Inn for a pet, parking at your door or the lowest rate.

Pools, mini golf and amenities

There are two outdoor pools, and the hotel’s Superior Pool View room description calls the pool heated. No water slides, splash pad or kids’ pool are listed, and the hotel’s website doesn’t list pool hours.

• For kids: mini golf, an arcade and a basketball court. The photos also show a covered courtyard with a giant chess set.
• Outdoors and fitness: barbecue and picnic areas, plus a fitness center.
• Services: free Wi-Fi, guest laundry, a business center, an ATM, a 24-hour front desk and 24-hour security.
• Gift shop: Disney-themed souvenirs and travel essentials. Wyndham says you can buy Walt Disney World tickets at the hotel, so compare prices with Disney’s own site.

No spa or kids’ club is listed. For slides, Island H2O Water Park is about 2 miles away, per the hotel’s area guide (check its calendar).

Breakfast and dining

All three outlets are off the lobby (hours at the time of writing):

• Smokehouse Grill: all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, 6:30 to 10:30 AM, with a children’s menu. Kids under five eat free with each paying adult.
• The Deli: sandwiches, pizza, salads, wings and ice cream, noon to 9 PM, to eat in or take away.
• Mulligan’s Sports Bar: dinner and drinks with sports on TV, 5 to 10 PM.

Breakfast isn’t included in most rates, and the hotel’s website doesn’t list the buffet price. The hotel website’s “free breakfast” offer from earlier in 2026 was gone in October, so check whether your rate includes breakfast before you pay.

To save money, use your room’s fridge and microwave and stock up at the Walmart next door.

Resort fee, parking and other costs

• Resort fee: $20.43 per night, per Wyndham’s rates page on October 13, 2026. Wyndham includes it in the rates it shows. Some resellers still show $18 plus tax, and the hotel’s own site doesn’t mention it. Third-party listings say it covers the shuttle, pool and fitness center, beach towels, in-room coffee, phone calls and housekeeping.
• Parking: free, and Wyndham says that includes trucks, RVs and trailers.
• Check-in: 3 PM per the hotel’s FAQ, 4 PM per Wyndham. Check-out is 11 AM. The hotel’s website lists early check-in (if available) and late check-out until 2 PM on Sundays as direct-booking perks.
• Age and deposit: you must be 21 to check in. Wyndham’s policy says one night’s room and tax is charged 24 hours before arrival, and Booking.com’s listing mentions a $150 damage deposit by card on arrival. Ask what will be held at check-in.
• Kids: children 17 and under stay free, according to Wyndham, which also lists cribs and rollaway beds.
• Pets: Standard Inn rooms only. Wyndham allows up to two pets of 30 pounds or less for $35 per pet per night. Third-party sites quote different charges, so confirm.

What’s nearby: Walmart and Starbucks

• Walmart Supercenter: 2855 N Old Lake Wilson Rd, on the hotel’s side of US-192, about a 0.4-mile walk by our route measurement. It has a pharmacy, plus water, snacks and breakfast food for the room fridge.
• Starbucks: listed at 2875 N Old Lake Wilson Rd, near the Walmart. Check its hours in the Starbucks app.

Both roads are wide and busy, so take care with kids and after dark.

Who Ramada Kissimmee Gateway suits

Best for: budget families and groups of four focused on Walt Disney World, travelers without a car who can plan around shuttle times, and road-trippers with RVs or trailers.

Not ideal for: rope-droppers who want Early Theme Park Entry, Universal-first trips, and anyone who wants included breakfast, water slides or interior corridors throughout.
