Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld is an all-suite Marriott on Westwood Boulevard where every room has a full kitchen, breakfast is free and, as one of SeaWorld’s 12 Official Hotels, guests can ride SeaWorld’s free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove. Its two-bedroom suites sleep up to seven, with two bathrooms.

It is not a resort, though, and some listed distances are optimistic. We checked Marriott’s, SeaWorld’s and Booking.com’s pages in October 2026 and measured walks and drives on OpenStreetMap routes.

Quick answer: book it if you want a kitchen suite for a family of four to seven, free hot breakfast and the SeaWorld shuttle, with no resort fee. Budget $27 a day for parking, plan on a car or rideshare for Disney and Universal, and don’t count on walking to Aquatica.

Location: how close is Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld to the parks?

The hotel sits on Westwood Boulevard, on the opposite side of SeaWorld from International Drive and Aquatica. Marriott’s experiences page puts SeaWorld 0.1 miles away and Booking.com says 1.1 miles; our walking route to SeaWorld’s turnstiles came to about 1 mile. Our measurements (walks on routing.openstreetmap.de, drives on OSRM, rounded):

DestinationDistanceHow
SeaWorld (park entrance)About 1 miWalk, about 20 min
Discovery CoveAbout 1.2 miWalk, about 26 min

Marriott gives the airport as 13 miles away; our road route is closer to 14. With small children the free shuttle (below) beats the SeaWorld walk, and Aquatica, on the far side of SeaWorld, is a drive or shuttle ride rather than a walk.

The suites: kitchens, layouts and who they sleep

Every room is a suite with a living area and a kitchen. Marriott’s accommodations page lists seven room types; the pool-view studio shares the Junior Suite Double’s layout:

Suite (Marriott name)BedsSizeSleeps
Junior Suite (studio)1 queen + sofa bed441 sq ft4
Junior Suite Double (studio; pool-view option)2 queens + sofa bed504 sq ft5
Wellness Jr Suite Double (studio)2 queens + sofa bed504 sq ft5
Deluxe Suite (1 bedroom)1 queen + sofa bed504 sq ft4
Family Suite Double (1 bedroom)2 queens + sofa bed616 sq ft5
Family Suite Triple (2 bedrooms, 2 baths)3 queens + sofa bed900 sq ft7

The Family Suite Triple is the one to know about: one bedroom has a queen, the other two queens, and the living-room sofa bed takes the total to seven. Booking.com sells it as the Two-Bedroom Suite (84 m²). The Wellness studio is a PURE room with purified air and hypoallergenic bedding, per Marriott.

Marriott’s rooms FAQ says every suite has a kitchen with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans, plus a coffee maker. It lists a stovetop, not an oven, and Booking.com calls the same space a kitchenette.

Check the bed rules too. Marriott’s room details say rollaway beds are not permitted and allow one crib per suite. Booking.com says cribs are free on request for children up to 2, there are no extra beds, and children 12 and older are charged as adults, so enter every child’s age. Some suites connect, the answer for groups of eight or more.

Most layouts come in mobility-accessible versions with a roll-in shower or a tub, and several offer hearing-accessible rooms; the Junior Suite Double (including the pool-view version) has no accessible option, according to Marriott. The hotel is non-smoking.

Pool, sport court and recreation

Marriott lists one heated outdoor pool, open year-round from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. with towels provided, and a whirlpool. The hotel’s photos show a free-form pool ringed by palms and dolphin-shaped fountains; Booking.com adds a shallow end and a fence. SeaWorld’s listing mentions a game room and a SportCourt, and Booking.com lists barbecue grills and a picnic area.

There is no water slide, splash pad or lazy river. If those matter, two nearby Official Hotels in the alternatives below have water play.

Breakfast and dining

Breakfast is included in the rate. Marriott’s dining page lists a free hot breakfast (SeaWorld’s listing calls it a buffet), served Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 9 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9:30 a.m., with grab-and-go options for early park days.

The poolside Castaway Bar & Grill serves American food and cocktails daily from 4 to 10 p.m. Marriott also lists in-room dining through the TapTasteGo app from 4 to 9:30 p.m., yet the same page’s FAQ says room service is not offered, so confirm delivery on arrival.

For a night out, Marriott’s dining page lists Bonefish Grill about half a mile away.

Parking, fees and taxes

Booking.com lists on-site parking at $27 a day with no reservation needed, and Marriott’s page showed the same $27 daily rate (or $14 hourly) in June 2026, noting that a service fee and taxes are extra. No valet is listed, and Marriott’s FAQ (June 2026) says there are no EV chargers.

There is no resort fee. Booking.com’s price breakdown for sample stays in November 2026, January 2027 and March 2027 added only one charge to the room rate: a 12.5% tax, Orange County’s usual rate. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.

Booking.com’s fine print adds a $200 refundable damage deposit by credit card on arrival, no cash, and a charge for the full stay if you leave early. The minimum check-in age is 21; check-in is from 4 p.m., check-out by 11 a.m.

Driving to the parks adds their parking: at the time of writing, $35 a day at Disney, $35 including tax at Universal, and at SeaWorld online from $37 plus tax (its FAQ says from $35). The SeaWorld shuttle avoids the last one.

Getting to SeaWorld, Universal and Disney

SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove

This is the hotel’s main transport perk. SeaWorld’s FAQ says Official Hotel guests ride free with a voucher reserved in person at the hotel’s guest service desk at least 30 minutes before departure, for the same or next day, subject to availability. The schedule varies by date and hotel.

The latest timetable we found is Florida Bus Service’s May 2025 Route E sheet: departures from the Residence Inn to SeaWorld and Aquatica at 9:25, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. (plus 8:50 a.m. on select dates), a 7:55 a.m. run to Discovery Cove, and returns from SeaWorld from 4:40 p.m., about hourly until a last bus that varied with park hours. Seats are first come, first served, and groups of 13 or more can’t ride. Ask the desk for current times.

For park planning, see our SeaWorld Orlando guide and, for the dolphin park, our Discovery Cove guide.

Universal, Epic Universe and Disney

We found no hotel shuttle to Universal or Disney. Marriott’s overview (June 2026 capture) mentions only the SeaWorld and Aquatica shuttle, Booking.com lists none, and Florida Bus Service, which runs Disney and Universal trips from several nearby Official Hotels, doesn’t list the Residence Inn among the stops in its booking system (October 15, 2026). Call the hotel (+1 407-313-3600) to be sure.

Driving is short: about 4 miles to Epic Universe, 6 to 6.5 to Universal’s garages and 8.5 to 10.5 to the Disney parks. Marriott advertised an offer with an Uber credit in June 2026, but only for that package booked with Marriott. If Universal is your main park, our list of Marriott hotels near Universal Orlando covers closer Bonvoy options.

I-RIDE Trolley and the airport

The I-RIDE Trolley’s Green Line serves Westwood Boulevard about every 45 minutes, daily from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and its map lists the hotel. A ride costs $2 ($1 for ages 3 to 9, exact change); unlimited passes start at $8 a day, sold off board, and transfers to the International Drive Red Line are free.

The hotel has no airport shuttle. Marriott’s June 2026 overview listed Mears Transportation at $40 one way, with a reservation required.

SeaWorld Official Hotel perks and the Quick Queue offer

SeaWorld’s vacation package FAQ (October 2026) lists these benefits for guests of its 12 Official Hotels, including this one:

  • Free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove (voucher rules above).
  • Free Rescue Tour at SeaWorld Orlando.
  • Priority Entry to SeaWorld daily through the VIP entrance: keep to the far left and show the benefits card from the hotel’s guest service desk. It is a faster entry line, not early admission.
  • Discounts: 10% off dining at SeaWorld and Aquatica (not on advance purchases) and 20% off merchandise purchases of $50 or more. For Discovery Cove, the FAQ says 10% off the Upgraded Drink Package, while SeaWorld’s comparison chart says 10% off dining, so ask which applies.

The hotel adds its own extra. Marriott’s experiences page (October 15, 2026) says every guest receives complimentary 3-ride Quick Queue access at SeaWorld, valid through 12/31, and Booking.com’s description also mentions it. Quick Queue is SeaWorld’s paid line-skipping pass, and this offer isn’t on SeaWorld’s Official Hotel list, so confirm at check-in that it covers your dates and your Booking.com reservation.

Booking.com’s description also mentions early SeaWorld entry on select days for guests with paid admission; SeaWorld’s own pages only describe Priority Entry, so treat that as unconfirmed. Benefits can change and can’t be combined with other offers. To compare all 12 hotels, see our guide to SeaWorld Orlando official hotels.

Amenities: fitness, Wi-Fi, laundry and pets

The fitness center is open 24 hours with treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes, a stair climber, weight machines and free weights. Marriott’s overview (June 2026 capture) also listed an on-site guest laundry, free lobby coffee and tea, a business center, meeting rooms and mobile key. The Market, a small shop with snacks, drinks and other grab-and-go items, is open around the clock.

Housekeeping is every other day, per Marriott’s June 2026 overview. Wi-Fi wording varies: Marriott’s room details call it complimentary, its overview (June 2026 capture) ties free Wi-Fi to Bonvoy members who book direct, and SeaWorld and Booking.com describe it as free, so confirm at check-in. Bonvoy points and member rates apply only to direct Marriott bookings.

The hotel is pet-friendly. Marriott’s June 2026 overview listed a nonrefundable $150 fee per stay for up to two pets of 75 lb or less, with service animals free, and its experiences page sells a Paws & Relax Pet Pass. For more options, see our guide to pet-friendly hotels in Orlando.

Nearby alternatives

If you want to walk to SeaWorld’s gate, the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld sits across the street from SeaWorld with a heated pool, the R Aqua Zone water-slide area and full-service dining, but it charges a resort fee. On the International Drive side, SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld has free breakfast, a splash area, cheaper parking, a much shorter walk to Aquatica and free Florida Bus Service runs to Universal and Disney at last check, though its suites have no full kitchen and sleep five at most.

TownePlace Suites and Staybridge Suites are other Official Hotels with kitchens; our best hotels near SeaWorld Orlando list compares them with measured walks.

Frequently asked questions

Does Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld have a free shuttle to SeaWorld?

Yes. As one of SeaWorld’s Official Hotels, it offers SeaWorld’s free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove. Reserve a voucher at the guest service desk at least 30 minutes before departure, for the same or next day. The latest sheet we found (May 2025) showed SeaWorld runs from 9:25 a.m. (8:50 on select dates), so check current times at the desk.

Can you walk to SeaWorld from Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld?

Yes, but it is farther than some listings suggest. Our OpenStreetMap walking route to SeaWorld’s park entrance is about 1 mile, roughly 20 minutes, ending on SeaWorld’s entry path. Discovery Cove is about 1.2 miles and Aquatica about 1.8 miles away, so the free shuttle is usually the easier choice.

How much is parking, and is there a resort fee?

Self-parking costs $27 a day at the time of writing, according to Booking.com and Marriott, and Marriott notes a service fee and taxes are extra. There is no resort fee: Booking.com’s price breakdowns for sample stays showed only a 12.5% tax on top of the room rate. Expect a $200 refundable damage deposit at check-in.

How many people can stay in a suite?

It depends on the layout. Marriott lists studios and one-bedroom suites for four or five guests and a 900 sq ft two-bedroom suite with two bathrooms for up to seven. Rollaway beds aren’t permitted and one crib is allowed per suite. Larger groups can ask for connecting suites.

Is breakfast free at Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld?

Yes. Marriott lists a free hot breakfast buffet from 6:30 to 9 a.m. Monday to Friday and from 7 to 9:30 a.m. on weekends, with grab-and-go options for early starts. Every suite also has a kitchen, and the 24-hour market sells snacks and drinks.

Does Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld allow pets?

Yes. Marriott’s June 2026 overview listed a nonrefundable pet fee of $150 per stay for up to two pets weighing 75 lb or less, with service animals welcome at no charge. Pets can’t ride the SeaWorld shuttle unless they are service animals, according to the operator’s route sheet, so plan for that on park days.

Bottom line

Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld makes the most sense for families who want space and a kitchen near SeaWorld: suites for up to seven, free hot breakfast, SeaWorld’s free shuttle and no resort fee. Budget $27 a day for parking, use a car or rideshare for Disney and Universal, and confirm the Quick Queue offer before you count on it. Compare rates for Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld.
