Hilton Orlando is a 1,424-room resort at 6001 Destination Parkway, just off International Drive, with an 892-foot lazy river, an adults-only pool, a pedestrian bridge to the Orange County Convention Center and free scheduled rides to Universal and two Disney parks. It suits families mixing Universal, Epic Universe and SeaWorld with pool days, and convention-goers.
The catch is the daily resort charge and paid parking on top of the room rate. Fees and perks below come from the hotel’s pages, Hilton’s booking site (archived February and May 2026 captures) and official park and convention center pages; confirm them before you book. Don’t confuse it with the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace or the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, separate hotels near Disney Springs.
Quick answer: Book Hilton Orlando for a big resort pool, a lazy river with free tubes and free transport to Universal and to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, from a base about 2 miles by road from SeaWorld and Epic Universe. Budget for the $47 nightly resort charge plus tax and $38 self-parking or $50 valet per night plus tax, at the time of writing. If Disney is your main plan, a Disney Springs area hotel on Disney’s Early Entry list saves drive time and adds the 30-minute head start.

Location and distances
The resort covers more than 26 acres, per the hotel, in the convention center district of International Drive. Pointe Orlando is about a mile away by road and ICON Park about 2 miles; no theme park is walkable. To compare areas, see our guide to the best areas to stay in Orlando.

| Destination | Road distance | Drive, no traffic |
|---|---|---|
| SeaWorld Orlando | About 2 mi | 5 to 10 min |
| Epic Universe | About 1.5 to 2.5 mi | 5 to 10 min |
| Universal (main garages) | About 5.5 mi | About 10 min |
| Disney Springs | About 7 mi | 12 to 15 min |
| EPCOT / Hollywood Studios | About 10 mi | About 20 min |
| Magic Kingdom parking | About 12 mi | About 20 min |
| Orlando airport (MCO) | About 12.5 to 14 mi | 20 to 35 min |
These are OSRM road routes to each park’s main parking or arrival area, rounded. The hotel’s own figures are shorter in places (Epic Universe “less than one mile,” though Hilton.com says less than 2 miles; Walt Disney World 7 miles), closer to straight-line or property-edge distances than to the drive to a gate.
Connection to the Orange County Convention Center
According to the convention center, the Hilton Pedestrian Bridge links Hilton Orlando to the South Concourse of the North/South building; the hotel calls it a covered walkway. It’s one of only four hotels the center lists with a bridge or skywalk.

The hotel adds about 249,000 sq ft of its own meeting space and says meeting areas are kept apart from the pools. For other options, see our guide to hotels near the Orange County Convention Center.
Rooms and suites at Hilton Orlando
The hotel describes its rooms and suites as refreshed. Hilton’s room descriptions (February 2026 capture) list 335 sq ft standard rooms with a 65-inch smart TV with streaming, a mini fridge, a dual-cup coffee maker and a desk with USB ports. King rooms have a walk-in shower; two-queen rooms have a shower-tub combo.

Upgrades are mostly about the view, including “Epic View” rooms that the hotel markets for the theme park skyline and nightly fireworks. PURE Wellness rooms add an air purifier for allergy-prone guests.
| Room type | Size | Sleeps |
|---|---|---|
| King or two-queen room | 335 sq ft | 2 or 4 |
| Connecting king + two-queen rooms | 670 sq ft | 6 |
| One-bedroom suite (king or two queens) | 650 sq ft | 4 or 6 |
| Two-bedroom suite | 985 sq ft | 8 |
| Family Suite (two queens) | 1,005 sq ft | 6 |
| Signature / Presidential suite | 1,340 / 2,010 sq ft | 4 |

One-bedroom suites add a living room with a queen sofa bed and a wet bar; the two-bedroom suite joins one to a two-queen room. Rollaways cost extra on some room types, and Hilton lists cribs. With five or six people, book a suite or connecting rooms, because standard rooms top out at four.
Pools, lazy river and recreation

The pool complex is why most families pick this hotel. The hotel describes an 892-foot winding lazy river with complimentary tubes, a zero-entry main pool that’s temperature-controlled year-round, a whirlpool and waterfalls feeding two pools. The waterslide requires a height of 48 inches and runs on a limited daily schedule, so ask the recreation team for hours. Younger kids get a splash pad beside Tropics Pool Bar & Grill.
Adults have a private, enclosed pool for guests 18 and older, with a whirlpool and rentable cabanas. There are also 24 rentable cabanas plus ten boutique cabanas by the splash pad, with 25% off through the resort charge. Cabanas are sold through ResortPass, which also sells day access, so you may share the deck with day visitors.
On land there are basketball, tennis and volleyball courts, fire pits and daily activities such as arts and crafts. Compare pools across the city in our lists of Orlando hotels with lazy rivers and Orlando hotels with adults-only pools.
Dining and breakfast
Breakfast isn’t included in standard rates. Hilton’s restaurant listing (May 2026 capture) shows FastBreak serving breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. and Scratch Market, for coffee, pastries, sandwiches and pizza, open 24 hours. The hotel also sells a Breakfast Included package covering two guests a day, with children 5 and under eating free.
For dinner, Trabucco serves coastal Italian food (Tuesday through Saturday in Hilton’s listing), TodoVos is a Mexican cantina, and FastBreak is a sports bar with an outdoor biergarten. Tropics serves seasonal poolside food, and Bar Tela is the lobby bar. The resort charge takes 15% off at resort restaurants, excluding Tropics, banquets and alcohol.

Pointe Orlando’s restaurants are a short drive or trolley ride away.
Parking, resort charge and taxes
| Charge | Amount | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Daily resort charge | $47 + tax | Per room, per night |
| Self-parking | $38 + tax | Per night, garage |
| Valet parking | $50 + tax | Per night, front drive |
| Room taxes | 12.5% + $2.25 | $2.25 destination marketing tax |
Those are the hotel’s figures at the time of writing. The resort charge covers in-room Wi-Fi for unlimited devices, the fitness center, daily activities and equipment, the Disney shuttle, two daily I-RIDE Trolley passes, and discounts on dining, cabanas and eforea spa services. Hilton’s booking site describes the included Disney transport as being for two guests, so ask how others in your room are handled.
Packages can change the math: Park and Stay includes self-parking for one vehicle, and a Teacher Appreciation rate listed no resort charge and free self-parking. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
Transport to Universal, Disney and SeaWorld
Universal Orlando and Epic Universe
As a Universal Partner Hotel, Hilton Orlando has a Universal Vacation Planning Desk in the lobby. Free park transport must be booked in person there; pick-up is on the front drive, groups and special events are excluded, and schedules can change without notice.
The hotel’s pages disagree on coverage: one says three Universal theme parks, another all four, including Epic Universe, so ask. Universal Volcano Bay is scheduled to close for maintenance from October 26, 2026, reopening on or before April 1, 2027.
The hotel’s list of Universal partner benefits (transport, the planning desk and a discount coupon book) doesn’t include Early Park Admission or Universal Express. If you drive, Universal’s standard parking was $35 a day including tax at our last check. If Epic is your focus, see our guide to hotels near Epic Universe.
Walt Disney World
The resort charge covers a daily scheduled round trip to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT only. You must reserve in advance: the booking page the hotel links to (Fabulous Buses) takes bookings up to 48 hours ahead and lists two morning departures and two afternoon or evening returns, with free boarding passes via a promo code from the front desk. Seats are limited and first come, first served.
Hilton Orlando is not on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list, so there’s no 30-minute head start. If you drive, standard Disney theme park parking was $35 a day at our last check.
SeaWorld, I-Drive and the airport
SeaWorld lists Hilton Orlando as a Hotel Partner, not an Official Hotel. The hotel says a SeaWorld benefits card from the front desk gives priority entry on select dates, 10% off dining and 10% off merchandise purchases of $50 or more; SeaWorld’s own partner chart says 20% off merchandise, so confirm at the desk. SeaWorld’s park shuttle is an Official Hotel benefit, so plan to drive or take a rideshare. Our list of the best hotels near SeaWorld Orlando compares closer options.

The I-RIDE Trolley stop (#23) is at the bottom of the front drive; the I-Drive district says trolleys run daily from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Red Line about every 20 minutes. For the airport, the hotel lists taxis, Mears shared shuttles (fees apply) and an on-site Hertz desk.
Spa, fitness and other amenities
The eforea spa and fitness center cover about 15,000 sq ft, per the hotel. Spa treatments are for ages 18 and up, require a government-issued ID and carry a 21% service charge; listed hours were 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
The 24-hour fitness center (Precor and Peloton equipment) and in-room Wi-Fi are included in the resort charge, and FastBreak houses a bookable Topgolf Swing Suite simulator. No supervised kids’ club is listed. Check-in is 3 p.m., check-out 11 a.m., and you must be 18 to register.

Who Hilton Orlando suits
It fits families splitting a trip between Universal, Epic Universe and SeaWorld, convention attendees using the South Concourse, and groups that need a suite for up to eight. It’s a weaker fit for Disney-first trips, for travelers who want free parking and no resort fee, and for pet owners: pets aren’t allowed, though service animals are welcome.

- Free Universal transport and a Disney shuttle included in the resort charge.

- A 24-hour market and several restaurants on site.
Limitations to know
- The resort charge, tax and $38 to $50 parking add up every night.

- Universal transport is booked in person, and Epic Universe coverage is unclear.
- No Disney Early Entry and no Universal on-site perks.
- Breakfast isn’t included, and pets aren’t allowed.

What to check before you book
- Total cost: add the $47 resort charge, 12.5% tax plus $2.25 and parking to the room rate.
- Convention dates: big shows at the convention center can raise rates and fill the hotel.
- Shuttles: ask about Disney seat availability and whether Universal runs serve Epic Universe.
- Your party: for five to eight people, confirm a suite or connecting rooms in writing.
- Packages: compare Park and Stay, Breakfast Included and SeaWorld packages with the room-only rate.

Frequently asked questions
How much is the resort fee at Hilton Orlando?
At the time of writing, the daily resort charge is $47 per room, per night, plus tax. It covers in-room Wi-Fi, the fitness center, daily activities, the scheduled shuttle to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, two daily I-RIDE Trolley passes, and discounts on dining, cabanas and spa services. Parking is extra, so confirm the current amount and inclusions when you book.
Does Hilton Orlando have a shuttle to Universal and Disney?
Yes, both are free but limited. Universal transport is booked in person at the lobby’s Universal Vacation Planning Desk, and the hotel’s pages say it covers three or four Universal parks, so ask about Epic Universe. The Disney shuttle goes only to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, with two morning departures and two returns, and needs an advance reservation.
How much is parking at Hilton Orlando?
The hotel lists self-parking in its garage at $38 per night and valet on the front drive at $50 per night, both plus tax, at the time of writing. Both come on top of the $47 resort charge. Hilton’s listing mentions in-and-out privileges and an EV charging station, and a Park and Stay package with self-parking can lower the total.
Is Hilton Orlando connected to the convention center?
Yes. The Orange County Convention Center says the Hilton Pedestrian Bridge connects the hotel to the South Concourse of the North/South building, and the hotel calls it a covered walkway. For events in the West building, the Hyatt Regency Orlando and the Rosen Centre and Rosen Plaza, which have their own bridges or skywalks, are closer.
Is Hilton Orlando the same as the Hilton near Disney Springs?
No. Hilton Orlando is on Destination Parkway in the convention district. The Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace and the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista are separate hotels in the Disney Springs area, about 7 miles away by road, and both are on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list. Check that your booking says 6001 Destination Parkway.
Bottom line
Hilton Orlando is one of the strongest resort bases in the I-Drive convention district, with a long lazy river, an adults-only pool, refreshed rooms, suites for up to eight and free transport to Universal and two Disney parks. Add the resort charge, tax and parking to every night, book the shuttles early, and pick a Disney Springs area hotel if Disney is the main event.
