Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld is a large Marriott resort hotel directly across the street from SeaWorld Orlando, close enough to walk to the park entrance in about 10 minutes. As an Official Hotel of SeaWorld, it adds Priority Entry and a free shuttle to Aquatica and Discovery Cove, and the hotel runs its own shuttle to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and Epic Universe.
Facts here come from Marriott’s hotel pages (archived captures from May and June 2026, room details from October 2025), SeaWorld’s Official Hotel pages and the hotel’s own guest-services site, checked in October 2026. Don’t confuse it with Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa, a separate Marriott hotel in the Disney Springs Resort Area: that hotel, not this one, is on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list.
Quick answer: Book Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld if SeaWorld, Aquatica or Discovery Cove are central to your trip and you want big rooms, a kids’ splash zone with two water slides and a shuttle to Disney and Universal. Budget for paid parking ($44 self-parking or $56 valet per day at last check) plus a resort fee (Booking.com’s price breakdown showed US$48 a night plus tax for a sample November 2026 stay). If Disney is your main plan, a hotel near Disney Springs puts you closer.

Walking to SeaWorld and Official Hotel perks
An OpenStreetMap walking route from the hotel to SeaWorld’s entrance plaza is roughly a third of a mile, about 10 minutes at an easy pace, depending on where your room is. Walking also lets you skip SeaWorld’s paid parking.

SeaWorld lists the hotel as an Official Hotel, a higher tier than its Hotel Partners. According to SeaWorld, guests get:
- Priority Entry to SeaWorld: daily, through the VIP entrance. Get a benefits card at the hotel’s guest service desk and stay to the far left at the gate.
- Free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove: voucher required; reserve at the guest service desk at least 30 minutes before departure, for the same or next day.
- A free Rescue Tour at SeaWorld Orlando.
- Discounts: 10% off dining at SeaWorld and Aquatica (not on advance purchases) and 10% off Discovery Cove’s upgraded drink package.
The merchandise discount differs between the two official sites: SeaWorld says 20% off purchases of $50 or more, Marriott says 10%. Benefits can change and can’t be combined with other offers. For tickets and Quick Queue, read our SeaWorld Orlando guide.
Rooms and suites
Room size is the hotel’s strongest point. Marriott lists standard and view rooms at 465 square feet, with high ceilings, double vanities, a mini fridge, a coffee maker and an in-room safe (for a fee). Standard rooms have one king plus a sofa bed or two queens; you can also book a SeaWorld or pool view or a balcony, though Marriott doesn’t list a sofa bed in the view and balcony kings.

- Occupancy: most room types are listed for up to four guests. Marriott’s data shows five for the standard two-queen room but four for the view and balcony two-queen rooms, so check your exact room type.
- Extra beds: one rollaway per room at $30 per night, plus one crib in standard rooms or up to two in suites.
- Suites: the Corner King junior suite has 670 square feet; the Executive, One-Bedroom and Parlor suites have 818; the Presidential Suite has 1,775.
- Extras: guaranteed connecting rooms, early check-in, and late check-out from $50 (1 p.m.) to $125 (4 p.m.) are sold on the hotel’s guest-services site.
Check-in is at 4 p.m., check-out at 11 a.m., and the person checking in must be at least 18.
Pools and the R Aqua Zone water park
The main outdoor pool is heated, with hot tubs, towels, fire pits, table tennis and lawn games. Marriott lists pool hours of 7 a.m. to midnight, and you can rent private daybeds.

Next to the main pool, the R Aqua Zone is a family water play area with two water slides, sprayers and jets, and a shallow wading area for younger kids. Marriott lists its hours as 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., while the hotel’s own site says 9 a.m. to dusk. It’s a splash zone rather than a full water park, and neither source lists a lazy river.
Dining and breakfast
Breakfast isn’t included in standard rates. Marriott says breakfast is served at Tradewinds Restaurant for a fee. For a quicker start, Bella Grove Provisions is an all-day market with Starbucks coffee, quiches and waffles in the morning, and brick-oven pizzas, sandwiches and salads later.

- Mist Wine Bar & Restaurant: tapas, wine and cocktails in the atrium, open for dinner.
- Boardwalk: a sports bar open daily for dinner.
- Palms Pool Bar & Grill: sandwiches, burgers and drinks; the hotel adds an automatic 18% gratuity to checks there.
- In-room dining: an à la carte menu for pickup or room delivery.
Marriott describes the resort as cashless: you need a credit card at check-in, and there’s an ATM on property.
Parking, resort fee and other charges
Marriott’s hotel page (June 2026 capture) lists self-parking at $44 per day and valet at $56 per day; ask whether tax is added.
The hotel’s shuttle booking pages confirm a resort fee that includes four shuttle seats per day to the Disney and Universal parks and Vineland Premium Outlets, with extra seats at $12 plus tax each. Marriott doesn’t publish the fee amount on the pages we checked, so ask the hotel or check the fee breakdown before you pay. Orange County’s 12.5% hotel tax applies to your room.
- Pets: up to two dogs or cats, 40 pounds maximum. Marriott calls the $150 non-refundable pet fee per stay in one place and per night in another, so confirm it.
- Wi-Fi: complimentary for Marriott Bonvoy members who book direct, according to Marriott; its room listings show wireless internet for a fee.
- Airport: no hotel airport shuttle; Marriott lists Mears shuttle service at about $20 each way with a reservation.
Getting to the theme parks
The hotel’s theme park shuttle runs to the four Walt Disney World parks, Disney Springs, Universal Orlando, Epic Universe and Vineland Premium Outlets. It’s for registered guests, leaves from outside the ground-floor lobby, and you reserve seats online.

| Destination | Shuttle | How to book |
|---|---|---|
| Disney parks and Disney Springs | Hotel theme park shuttle | Online, hotel guest site |
| Universal and Epic Universe | Hotel theme park shuttle | Online, hotel guest site |
| SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove | SeaWorld Official Hotel shuttle | Guest service desk |
Expect scheduled runs, not a loop. The last schedule the hotel posted (effective May 22, 2025) showed one to three departures to each park, mostly in the morning, with set evening returns, reservations at least 2 hours ahead, folding strollers only and no luggage. The Magic Kingdom run stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center, so you still take the monorail or ferry.
If you drive, standard theme park parking runs $35 per day at Disney and $35 including tax at Universal at the time of writing. For Disney’s extra morning time, see our list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry.
Atrium, fitness and other amenities
The hotel wraps around a skylit atrium that Marriott’s events page puts at 50,000 square feet. It’s bright and airy, but with more than 200,000 square feet of meeting space, conventions and weddings can fill the public areas on some dates.

- Fitness: a 24-hour fitness center with Peloton bikes and TRX equipment, included.
- Family extras: a game room, seasonal poolside activities and a bookable “Little Navigators” in-room camping kit for kids.
- Practical: guest laundry, a gift shop and convenience store, and Renaissance “Navigators” for local tips.
- Spa: SeaWorld’s hotel page still mentions a full-service spa, but Marriott’s amenity list and the hotel’s 2026 property map don’t show one, so ask if it matters.

Frequently asked questions
Can you walk to SeaWorld from Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld?
Yes. The hotel sits across Sea Harbor Drive from SeaWorld, and an OpenStreetMap walking route to the entrance plaza is roughly a third of a mile, about 10 minutes at an easy pace. Walking saves you SeaWorld’s parking charge. Aquatica and Discovery Cove are farther away, so use the free SeaWorld shuttle you reserve at the guest service desk.
Does Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld have a shuttle to Disney and Universal?
Yes. The hotel’s shuttle serves the four Disney parks, Disney Springs, Universal Orlando, Epic Universe and Vineland Premium Outlets. Four seats per day are included in the resort fee, and extra seats cost $12 plus tax each. Departures are scheduled rather than continuous and need a reservation, so check the timetable and book early.
How much is parking at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld?
At last check, Marriott listed self-parking at $44 per day and valet parking at $56 per day, and the hotel has EV charging stations. Ask whether tax is added. Parking is separate from the resort fee, and since you can walk to SeaWorld and use the hotel shuttle, you may not need a car every day.
Does Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld have a water park?
It has the R Aqua Zone, a family water play area beside the main pool with two water slides, sprayers and jets, and a shallow wading area. Marriott lists hours of 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., while the hotel’s site says 9 a.m. to dusk. The main pool is heated and has hot tubs, but no lazy river is listed.
What SeaWorld perks do Renaissance guests get?
As a SeaWorld Official Hotel, it offers daily Priority Entry through SeaWorld’s VIP entrance, a free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove, a free Rescue Tour and 10% off dining at SeaWorld and Aquatica. SeaWorld lists 20% off merchandise purchases of $50 or more, while Marriott says 10%. Get your benefits card at the guest service desk.
Is Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld good for families?
Yes, especially for SeaWorld-heavy trips. Standard rooms are 465 square feet with two queens or a king and sofa bed, and most room types sleep up to four. Kids get a splash zone with two slides, and the hotel shuttle reaches Disney and Universal. The downsides are the resort fee, paid parking and no free breakfast.
Bottom line
Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld is a practical full-service base for a SeaWorld-centered trip: you can walk to the park, use Official Hotel perks, give kids a splash zone and still reach Disney and Universal by shuttle. Add parking and the resort fee to your rate before you compare, and pick a Disney-area hotel if Magic Kingdom days dominate.
