Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista is an 814-room Hilton on Hotel Plaza Boulevard that connects to Disney Springs by a pedestrian skybridge, and it’s one of the non-Disney hotels on Disney’s list for 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry. Its full name is Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs Area, and it’s an Official Walt Disney World Hotel.

We checked Hilton’s archived pages, Disney’s Early Entry list and the Disney Springs Resort Area hotel site. Don’t confuse it with the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, a separate resort on Buena Vista Drive, or with Hilton Orlando, a convention-district hotel on Destination Parkway.

Quick answer: Book Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista if you want to walk to Disney Springs, get Disney’s 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry and ride a shuttle to all four parks that’s covered by the daily resort charge. Hilton’s resort-charge policy gives no amount, self-parking adds $38 a night at last check, and the shuttle runs hourly with reservations.

Location and distances to the parks

The hotel sits on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, the short road lined with the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels, just off State Road 535 near I-4 exit 68. Hilton says it’s directly connected to Disney Springs by a pedestrian skybridge, so you can leave the car parked. Our comparison of the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels shows how its neighbors stack up.

These are free-flow OSRM road estimates to each park’s guest parking, so add time for traffic and trams. Hilton’s own list gives shorter, apparently straight-line figures (EPCOT 2 miles, Magic Kingdom 5 miles) and puts the airport 25 minutes away.

Rooms and suites at Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista

Standard rooms have one king bed (sleeps 3) or two queen beds (sleeps 4), with a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, safe, work desk and granite vanity. Connecting rooms and cribs are available. Disney Springs View rooms sit on the top floors, and there’s a deluxe high-floor category with a double vanity.

The hotel’s photos show two decor styles (dark wood or checkerboard headboards), so ask which you’ll get if it matters. The suites are where this hotel stands out for families:

The family suites add board games and a cart of snacks and drinks (two selections per registered guest per stay), and Hilton says select family suites have balconies. Hilton’s room filter and descriptions disagree on some suites (two-bedroom: 10 vs 8; one-bedroom king: 6 vs 4), so confirm occupancy before you book.

Accessible rooms come in king and two-queen layouts with roll-in showers or accessible tubs, and hearing-accessible rooms have visual alerts for the door and phone.

Pools and recreation

The resort has two heated pools, a kids’ splash pad and a double heated whirlpool. Rum Largo Poolside Bar and Café serves cocktails, salads, sandwiches and a kids’ menu, listed as open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting, at last check.

Hilton doesn’t list a waterslide or lazy river; if those matter, see our Orlando hotels with lazy rivers. There’s also a 24-hour arcade (the resort charge includes a $10 card), and guests get 50% off equipment rentals at Disney’s golf courses with proof of stay.

Dining and breakfast

Hilton counts six dining options. Breakfast isn’t part of standard rates, except for children 5 and under through the resort charge. Hours are from Hilton’s dining page at last check:

  • Covington Mill: breakfast buffet (7 to 11 a.m.) and lunch. Hilton notes its Disney Character Breakfast “has been temporarily suspended.”
  • Benihana Steakhouse and Sushi: teppanyaki at your table plus sushi, from 2 or 4 p.m. (Hilton’s pages differ); you can book a table.
  • John T’s: a sports lounge with seven screens, open from 4 p.m.
  • Mainstreet Market: grab-and-go with Starbucks coffee and mobile ordering, 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Rum Largo by the pool, and in-room dining for breakfast and dinner.

For dinner, Disney Springs across the skybridge adds many more options; see our Disney Springs guide.

Parking, resort charge and other fees

Hilton’s parking policy (March to July 2026 captures) lists self-parking at $38 and valet at $48 per night (valet taxable at 6.5%), with in-and-out privileges. The location page’s own text (March 2026) said $35 and $45, so confirm at check-in. Park and Stay or Florida-resident offers have sometimes bundled or discounted parking.

Every stay carries a daily resort charge. Hilton’s policy lists what it includes but not the amount; some room descriptions mention a “38 USD resort charge,” so treat $38 as unconfirmed and check your rate breakdown. At last check it included:

  • Guest internet access and the Disney theme park shuttle
  • Two 16-oz bottles of water, a suncare product and a $10 arcade card
  • Breakfast for children 5 and under
  • Notary services and discounts on Avis rentals (10%), Disney golf rentals (50%) and concierge tickets ($5)

Dogs are welcome (two per room, up to 40 lbs) for $75 per stay for one or two nights or $125 for three or more. Late check-out after 2 p.m. costs $50, and leaving early costs one night’s rate and tax. Orange County’s 12.5% hotel tax applies. If you drive to a Disney park instead, standard parking there was $35 a day at last check, while Disney Springs parking is free.

Transport to the Disney parks

The Disney shuttle serves all four theme parks and is covered by the resort charge. Hilton links to the operator, Fabulous Buses, which requires reservations. Hilton’s location page (March 2026 capture) gives this schedule:

  • To the parks: hourly at 30 minutes past the hour, first bus 90 minutes before the park opens.
  • Returns: on the hour from Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, at 10 past from EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, until 60 minutes after closing. The operator adds no trips for separately ticketed events.
  • Booking window: Hilton says up to 72 hours ahead; the operator’s page (October 2026) says 48 hours.

Miss a bus and you wait up to an hour. Disney says its buses from Disney Springs run only to Disney Resort hotels, for their guests and visitors with a dining or experience reservation, and there’s no bus from the parks to Disney Springs, so plan on the shuttle, a car or a rideshare. Hilton lists no Universal or SeaWorld shuttle; for the airport it suggests taxis, Avis or Mears Connect.

Disney perks: Early Entry and Official Hotel benefits

Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry page (US version, captured August 28, 2026) lists Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista under “Other Select Hotels.” Registered guests get 30 minutes of early entry to any of the four parks daily, through 2027, per Disney. Our list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry shows the other options.

Hilton adds a Disney Springs savings booklet, park tickets through the concierge and up to 15% off for Disney Passholders when that offer runs. Ask whether the first shuttle is timed to the early entry window on your park days.

Amenities: fitness, arcade, Wi-Fi and services

There’s a 24-hour fitness center, the 24-hour arcade, coin laundry, a concierge desk, baggage storage, an ATM and a FedEx Office Print and Ship Center. Guest internet comes with the resort charge. Hilton’s amenity list doesn’t include a spa or a kids’ club.

It’s also a big meeting hotel (79,000 square feet of event space, per the Disney Springs Resort Area hotel site), so expect conference groups at times. The property is smoke-free.

Who it suits

It suits families who want easy Disney Springs evenings, Early Entry and a suite that sleeps up to 8 under one roof. Couples get a lot from the skybridge, and dog owners can bring up to two dogs. It’s less ideal for slide-loving kids or Universal-focused trips.

Pros

  • A pedestrian skybridge to Disney Springs.
  • Disney’s 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry every day.
  • A shuttle to all four Disney parks, covered by the resort charge.
  • Many suite types, including family suites with two or three bathrooms.
  • Breakfast for kids 5 and under, and a market open until 1 a.m.
  • Dog-friendly.

Limitations to know

  • Hilton’s policy doesn’t state the resort charge amount, and parking adds $38 a night or more.
  • The shuttle is hourly, needs a reservation and has no extra runs for special events.
  • No waterslide, lazy river, spa or kids’ club is listed.
  • The character breakfast was suspended at last check.
  • Disney’s buses and boats from Disney Springs serve only Disney Resort hotels.

What to check before you book

  • The resort charge amount and whether your rate bundles parking.
  • Book the Disney Springs View category if you want the view.
  • Suite occupancy, especially the two-bedroom suite’s 8 vs 10 listing.
  • The shuttle booking window (48 or 72 hours) and return times for your park days.
  • Pet fees, and the age rule: you must be 18 to check in (4 p.m.; check-out 11 a.m.).

Yes. Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry page lists Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista among its “Other Select Hotels.” Registered guests get 30 minutes of early entry to all four parks every day of the stay, including arrival and departure days, and Disney says the perk continues through 2027. Bring valid park admission and your resort ID.

Does Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista have a shuttle to the Disney parks?

Yes. A shuttle run by Fabulous Buses serves all four Disney parks and is covered by the resort charge. Buses leave hourly at half past, starting 90 minutes before opening, and the last return is an hour after closing. Reservations are required; Hilton says 72 hours ahead and the operator says 48.

How much is parking at Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista?

At last check, Hilton’s parking policy listed self-parking at $38 per night and valet at $48 per night plus 6.5% tax, with in-and-out privileges. Its location page text still showed $35 and $45, so confirm at check-in. Some packages have included or discounted parking, and Disney Springs parking is free.

What does the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista resort charge include?

Hilton lists guest internet, the Disney shuttle, two bottles of water, a $10 arcade card, a suncare product, breakfast for children 5 and under, notary services, and discounts on Avis rentals, Disney golf rentals and concierge tickets. The policy gives no amount (some room descriptions mention $38), so check the rate breakdown before you confirm.

Can you walk from Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista to Disney Springs?

Yes, and that’s its biggest selling point. Hilton says the hotel is directly connected to Disney Springs by a pedestrian skybridge and lists the distance as 0.3 miles. You can leave the car in the hotel lot and walk to restaurants, shops and shows.

Is Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista the same as the Buena Vista Palace?

No. They’re separate Hilton hotels in the Disney Springs Resort Area. Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista is at 1751 Hotel Plaza Boulevard with a skybridge to Disney Springs, while the Buena Vista Palace is on Buena Vista Drive and has a float lagoon. Both get Early Entry. Hilton Orlando is a third hotel, near the convention center.

Bottom line

Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista makes the most sense when you want Disney Springs on foot, Disney’s Early Entry and roomy suites, and you’re fine planning park days around an hourly shuttle. Add the resort charge and parking before comparing it with Disney’s hotels or a no-resort-fee option like the Drury. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
