The hotels near USTA National Campus are all in Lake Nona, the master-planned community in southeast Orlando where the US Tennis Association runs its national training and tournament center at 10000 USTA Blvd. The closest is Aloft by Marriott Orlando Lake Nona, about 1.9 miles by road, and three more hotels in Lake Nona Town Center are under 3 miles away. All four are stops on Lake Nona’s free North Route shuttle, which the USTA points tournament guests to.

This guide is for junior players, parents, league teams and college tennis fans. We ranked eight hotels by road distance to the campus parking lots, checked breakfast, parking and pet rules on official pages, and added the campus basics: hours, court fees, rules and upcoming events.

Quick answer: For a tournament weekend, book Aloft by Marriott Orlando Lake Nona. It is the closest hotel, about six minutes by car, and a North Route shuttle stop, though breakfast costs extra. For a week-long junior event, the Residence Inn in Town Center has kitchens and a free hot breakfast. Without a rental car, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orlando Southeast lists a free shuttle to MCO and anywhere within 3 miles. For an adults’ stay, the Lake Nona Wave Hotel sells a USTA lesson package that includes the ride to the courts.

How we chose these hotels

  • Road distance first: we routed every hotel to the campus’s main parking lots, reached from Lake Nona Boulevard via Wellspring Drive, with OSRM in both directions (October 2026, light traffic).
  • Official facts only: hotel details come from each hotel’s own site or brand page, read live or in dated archived copies where Marriott and Hilton block requests. Campus facts come from the USTA’s own pages.
  • What tennis trips need: beds for the family or team, breakfast before early matches, laundry and a way to reach the courts.
  • No scores: we did not stay at these hotels and do not publish ratings. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.

  • Getting to the campus: about 1.9 miles by road. On foot it is about 1.8 miles, around 40 minutes, a long walk with kit bags in Florida heat. MCO is about 7 to 8 miles; Marriott lists no airport shuttle.

The Lake Nona Wave Hotel, at 6100 Wave Hotel Drive in Lake Nona Town Center, is the area’s design hotel. Our Lake Nona Wave Hotel review covers the rooms, dining and fees in detail.

The tennis hook is the USTA Lesson Experience on the hotel’s spa page: a one-hour personalized coaching session, with transportation to and from the USTA National Campus included.

Parking

The campus’s current visitor pages do not mention a parking fee. The USTA’s own College MatchDay fan guide from 2020 described free, first-come, first-served parking in the main lot, with RVs in the back row and a bus lane near the front. Treat that as a past example and check your event’s details.

Booking a court

Courts are booked through CourtReserve. Under a policy in effect since May 1, 2026, reservations open two weeks ahead and are charged in full when you book. Prices on the campus’s Book a Court page at the time of writing:

  • Pro Shop and Racquet Bar: open Monday to Saturday 8 am to 8 pm and Sunday 8 am to 5 pm, with stringing at $28 per frame and racquet demos from $10 for three days.

USTA Travel, which describes itself as the campus’s exclusive accommodations provider, says event participants get discounted USTA room rates at its preferred hotels: the Aloft, Courtyard, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites and Wave. Compare its rate with the same hotel on Booking.com unless your event requires booking through it. Some events are free to watch; the USTA invited spectators to the 2026 BNP Paribas World Team Cup in September at no charge.

Getting to the campus without a car

The USTA’s visitor page says Beep provides free rides from select Lake Nona hotels to the campus for specified tournaments, and tells guests to look for the North Route. On Lake Nona’s live service tracker in October 2026, the North Route ran daily from 7:30 am to 10 pm with four stops:

  • Courtyard/Residence Inn Lake Nona
  • Lake Nona Wave Hotel
  • Aloft Orlando Lake Nona
  • USTA National Campus

On the tracker’s timetable, a shuttle left the Courtyard/Residence Inn stop every 37 minutes and reached the campus about 25 minutes later (about 9 minutes from the Aloft). The first scheduled arrival at the campus was 7:55 am and the last about 9:30 pm, so plan around early matches. Lake Nona says its shuttles carry up to 10 passengers, stop only at designated stops and cannot be hailed, so check the tracker on the day. Otherwise, ask the Holiday Inn Express whether its free van covers the campus, or book the Wave’s lesson package, which includes the ride.

  • Teams: the campus recommends Pegasus Transportation for motorcoaches and 14-passenger vans at USTA-discounted rates (mention USTA when you book).

How to choose

  • You want the shortest ride to the courts: Aloft, then the three Town Center hotels, all on the North Route.
  • You are staying a week or more: Residence Inn first, then Home2 Suites, both with kitchens and free breakfast.
  • You will not have a car: a North Route hotel plus a rideshare from MCO, or the Holiday Inn Express for its own shuttle.
  • You are a grown-up group that eats well: the Lake Nona Wave Hotel, with its 21+ check-in rule.
  • You land late or fly out early: the Hyatt Regency inside the terminal, or compare our Orlando airport hotels.
  • Someone in the family has a hospital visit too: the Town Center hotels are near Medical City; see our hotels near Nemours Children’s Hospital.
