Orlando hotels with free airport shuttle are clustered in one small area: the Airport North business district off Semoran Boulevard, just north of Orlando International Airport (MCO). The eight hotels below each say on their own official pages that the ride to and from the terminals is complimentary, and we checked what each one says about hours, how to call the van and what you pay to park.
A free van makes the most sense for a late arrival, an early flight, a cruise or train connection, or a park-and-fly night. It won’t take you to the theme parks, and almost no hotel in the Disney, Universal or International Drive areas offers a free airport ride, so we explain your options for those too.
Quick answer: For a free MCO shuttle with the most published detail, pick Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside (vans every 15 to 30 minutes) or the 24-hour shuttles at DoubleTree and Sheraton Suites. For free breakfast too, look at Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites and Hyatt House. If you’d rather skip the shuttle entirely, the Hyatt Regency is inside the terminal.

How we chose these airport shuttle hotels
Lots of booking sites tick a “free airport shuttle” box for hotels that charge for it or have quietly dropped it. We only kept a hotel if its own brand page listed the MCO shuttle as complimentary at our last check, and we note the date of every page we used.
- Verified shuttle: complimentary on the hotel’s official page (Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt), with hours or call instructions where the hotel gives them.
- Location: all eight are about 2.5 to 3.5 miles by road from the Terminal A and B curbs, roughly 10 minutes without traffic, and about 4 to 4.5 miles from Terminal C.
- Value: free breakfast, parking costs and room types (suites, kitchens) count. We don’t rank hotels by review scores.
- Freshness: brand sites block automated visits, so we read archived copies of the official pages captured between November 2025 and July 2026. Shuttle policies can change at short notice, so call the hotel before you land.

No shuttle needed: the hotel inside MCO
The Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport is inside the main terminal, above the security checkpoint for Gates 70–129, so you walk from baggage claim to the front desk. There’s no van to wait for, and no shuttle call to make. Our Hyatt Regency Orlando Airport review covers its rooms, rooftop pool and parking.
Where hotel shuttles pick up at Orlando airport
MCO puts free hotel shuttles in the commercial lanes on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1). At last check, the airport listed these spaces:
| Where you land | Hotel shuttle spaces | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Terminal A | A1–A4 and A42–A45 | Level 1 |
| Terminal B | B1–B4 and B40 | Level 1 |
| Terminal C | C270 and C271 | Drop-off on Level 2 |
| Train station | C7 and C8 | For Brightline riders |
A few habits make the pickup smoother:
- Call once you have your bags. Most of these hotels run the van on request, and Sheraton Suites notes that there’s no courtesy phone bank at the airport. Save the number before you fly.
- Tell the driver your terminal. Terminal C is roughly 1 to 1.5 road miles farther from the hotels than A and B, and its shuttle stop is in a different place.
- Arriving by train? If you’re coming off Brightline from Miami, ask whether the van will stop at the train station spaces or only at the terminals.
- Have a backup. MCO’s own approximate-rates table, which looks dated, puts a taxi to the airport hotel area at $14 to $18.
For terminal maps, the Gate Link trams and rental car levels, see our Orlando airport guide.
What about Disney, Universal and International Drive hotels?
Don’t count on a free airport ride once you leave the airport area. MCO’s approximate-rates table lists the hotel shuttle as “Free!” for airport hotels and “N/A” for International Drive, downtown, Lake Buena Vista, Kissimmee and the Disney resorts area. Disney’s free Magical Express ended in January 2022. Here’s what most visitors use instead:
- Disney-area hotels: Mears Connect is a paid shared shuttle to Disney-area hotels, from $16 per adult and $13 per child (ages 3 to 9) each way plus a fuel surcharge at last check. Our Orlando airport to Disney World guide compares it with rideshare, taxis and rental cars.
- Universal hotels: Universal’s SuperStar Shuttle charges $23 one way or $39 round trip per adult at last check, and serves Universal’s own hotels. See our Orlando airport to Universal guide for pickup points and alternatives.
- International Drive: plan on rideshare, a taxi or a rental car, as these hotels generally don’t include airport transport.
How to choose an Orlando airport shuttle hotel
All eight hotels are within a couple of blocks of each other, so choose on what’s included and how you’ll spend the next day, not on distance.
- Landing late or leaving very early: DoubleTree and Sheraton Suites list 24-hour shuttles, and Marriott Airport Lakeside starts its 15-minute departures at 5 a.m.
- Want breakfast included: Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites and Hyatt House.
- Families: Sheraton Suites has two-room suites and Embassy Suites has suites with a living area; Homewood and Hyatt House add kitchens.
- Park and fly: Marriott Airport Lakeside mentions long-term parking with the shuttle, and Hyatt House sells a seven-day Park and Fly offer. Ask any hotel about leaving a car before you book.
- Traveling with a dog: Sheraton Suites, Hampton, Homewood, Embassy Suites and Hyatt House accept pets for a fee; Marriott Lakeside, DoubleTree and Courtyard don’t.
- Driving to the parks next: Homewood has the lowest published parking charge, and every hotel here is about 11 to 13 road miles from Universal and Epic Universe.

Frequently asked questions
Which Orlando hotels have a free airport shuttle?
At our last check, official brand pages listed a complimentary MCO shuttle at Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside, Sheraton Suites Orlando Airport, Embassy Suites Orlando Airport, DoubleTree Orlando Airport, Hampton Inn & Suites Gateway Village, Homewood Suites Orlando Airport, Hyatt House Orlando Airport and Courtyard Orlando Airport. All are in the Airport North area, about 2.5 to 3.5 road miles from Terminals A and B. Confirm with the hotel before you travel.
Where do hotel shuttles pick up at Orlando International Airport?
On the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1). MCO lists hotel shuttle spaces A1–A4 and A42–A45 at Terminal A, B1–B4 and B40 at Terminal B, and C270 and C271 at Terminal C. The train station has spaces C7 and C8. Call your hotel after you collect your bags, since most vans run on request and there’s no courtesy phone bank.
Do Disney World or International Drive hotels offer free airport shuttles?
Generally, no. MCO’s rate table lists free hotel shuttles only for the airport hotel area and “N/A” for Disney, Lake Buena Vista, Kissimmee and International Drive. Disney ended Magical Express in January 2022. Mears Connect, a paid shared shuttle, serves Disney-area hotels, and Universal’s paid SuperStar Shuttle serves Universal’s own hotels. Rideshare and taxis cover everything else.
Do airport hotel shuttles in Orlando run 24 hours?
Some do. DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Airport lists a free 24-hour shuttle, and Sheraton Suites lists 24/7 service on request. Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside published a schedule of every 15 minutes from 5 to 9 a.m. and every 30 minutes after that. The other hotels list the shuttle as complimentary without hours, so ask about late-night pickups when you book.
Can I park at an Orlando airport hotel and take the shuttle to my flight?
Often, yes. Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside mentions long-term parking with its complimentary airport shuttle, and Hyatt House sells a Park and Fly offer covering parking for up to seven days. DoubleTree points cruisers to hotel-and-transportation packages sold through Go Port Canaveral. Rules and prices change, so ask the hotel how many days you can leave your car and what it costs.
Is there a hotel inside Orlando airport?
Yes. The Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport is inside the main terminal, above the security checkpoint for Gates 70–129, so you don’t need a shuttle at all. Terminals A and B are a short walk away, and Terminal C is linked by the airport’s Terminal Link train. Compare its rates with the shuttle hotels for your dates.
Bottom line
For a free ride from MCO, stay in the Airport North cluster. Marriott Airport Lakeside publishes the most frequent schedule, DoubleTree and Sheraton Suites cover round-the-clock arrivals, and Embassy Suites, Hampton, Homewood and Hyatt House add free breakfast. Save your hotel’s number before you land, call once you have your bags, and confirm the shuttle and parking details directly, because they change more often than hotel websites do.
