The Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort (Marriott’s full name is Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort) is a Marriott Bonvoy resort at 12205 S. Apopka-Vineland Road, about 1.7 road miles from the Disney Springs Lime garage. It pairs freshly renovated rooms and bunk-bed family suites with two heated pools, a waterslide and a scheduled park shuttle that is covered by a nightly resort fee. Booking.com lists it as “Sheraton Resort, Lake Buena Vista Orlando”.
The catch is the shuttle schedule: the free bus runs only one to three times a day to each park, and EPCOT needs a monorail transfer. We checked Marriott’s hotel pages, Booking.com’s price breakdowns, the shuttle operator’s booking system and Disney’s pages. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
Quick answer: Book the Sheraton Lake Buena Vista Resort for a renovated Marriott resort with a strong pool area, family suites for up to 8 and a short drive to Disney Springs. Budget $23.95 a night plus tax in resort fees and $25 a day for parking. The free shuttle serves Disney and Universal, but at fixed times only. For Early Entry, choose a Disney Springs Resort Area hotel.

Location: Apopka-Vineland Road, near Disney Springs
The resort sits on Apopka-Vineland Road (State Road 535), about half a mile north of the I-4 interchange at exit 68 and the Hotel Plaza Boulevard intersection. Marriott’s dining page lists Olive Garden, Sonny’s BBQ and Chili’s within about a quarter mile. Marriott also describes the hotel as “less than a mile” from Walt Disney World Resort; that is the edge of Disney property, not a park gate.
It is not one of the eight Disney Springs Resort Area hotels around Hotel Plaza Boulevard, which are all on Disney’s Early Entry list. For that group, see our guide to Disney Springs Resort Area hotels.
| Destination | Road miles (out / back) | Route notes |
|---|---|---|
| Disney Springs (Lime garage) | About 1.7 / 3.2 | Hotel Plaza Blvd; the garage exit loops back |
| EPCOT main lot | About 6.4 / 6.1 | I-4 and Epcot Center Drive |
| Hollywood Studios toll plaza | About 6.0 / 6.8 | I-4 and Osceola Parkway |
| Magic Kingdom (Transportation and Ticket Center) | About 6.4 / 6.6 | CR 535 and Vista Blvd (public roads) |
| Animal Kingdom parking | About 7.1 / 7.9 | I-4 and Osceola Parkway |
| Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets | About 2.4 / 2.4 | SR 535 and Vineland Avenue |
| Epic Universe toll plaza | About 7.1 / 7.7 | I-4, SR 528 and Universal Blvd |
| Universal garages toll plaza | About 7.7 / 9.4 | I-4 (return via I-4 Express) |
| Orlando International Airport (Terminals A/B) | About 15.5-16.5 / 17-18 | SR 528 (toll road) |
These are OSRM road routes from the hotel’s map pin, checked on October 26, 2026, on public roads only. Marriott lists the airport at 15 miles, and Booking.com puts Universal Studios at 8 miles (an OpenStreetMap figure). See also our guide to hotels near the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets.
Walking to Disney Springs is possible but long: about 1.8 miles each way, or about 40 minutes, along SR 535 and Hotel Plaza Boulevard. Driving is easier, and Disney Springs parking is free.
Rooms and suites: renovated, with bunk beds in the family suites
Marriott describes the rooms and suites as freshly renovated, with wood-look floors, LED backlit vanities, stand-up desks and USB ports. Its room details (checked October 26, 2026) give these sizes and limits:
| Room type | Beds | Size | Max guests |
|---|---|---|---|
| Guest room, king | One king bed | 336 sq ft | 2 |
| Guest room, two queens | Two queen beds | 336 sq ft | 4 |
| One-bedroom suite, king | One king bed + sofa bed | 504 sq ft | 4 |
| One-bedroom suite, two doubles | Two double beds + sofa bed | 516 sq ft | 6 |
| Family suite, king | One king bed + twin bunk beds + sofa bed | 504 sq ft | 6 |
| Family suite, two doubles | Two double beds + twin bunk beds + sofa bed | 504 sq ft | 8 |
| Executive suite | One king bed + two sofa beds | 750 sq ft | 6 |

Marriott’s room list separates layouts with a balcony from layouts with a patio, and some mention neither, so check the room name. Every room type lists a mini fridge, a coffee/tea maker, bottled water and a safe. It does not list a microwave, a kitchenette or a kitchen in any room type.
In the family suites, the bedroom has a king bed or two double beds, and the living room adds twin bunk beds and a sofa bed. The executive suite adds a wet bar and a dining table for 4.

Cribs are a conflict between sources. Marriott’s room details say “Cribs not permitted” and “Rollaway beds not permitted” for every room type. Booking.com’s house rules offer a free crib on request for children up to 2, subject to availability, and no extra beds. Confirm with the hotel before you book. Accessible rooms with roll-in showers or tubs exist in several room types.
Pools and recreation: two heated pools and a waterslide

The pools fill a large courtyard between the guest wings. Marriott lists both as heated, open 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with towels provided:
- The Falls Pool: the pool with the waterslide.
- The Beach Pool: listed with a children’s pool. The resort’s photos show a zero-entry edge and spray features.
- Whirlpool: in the pool area, complimentary.
- Cabanas: reserved loungers, a fan, an umbrella, towels, a mini fridge and a TV, booked through the front desk. Marriott’s page lists no price.

Marriott also lists a game room. Its experiences page promotes ResortPass day passes to the pools and cabanas, so you may share the pool deck with day visitors.
Dining and breakfast
Breakfast is not part of a standard rate. Some Booking.com rates include it, but the fine print says those rates cover 2 adults only. Marriott’s dining page lists four outlets:
- Zest: a full American breakfast buffet, daily 7:00 to 11:00 a.m.
- Springboard Market: Starbucks coffee, baked goods and grab-and-go breakfast, daily 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- 27 Palms Bar & Grill: the poolside bar with light food, cocktails and a fire pit, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., weather permitting.
- Zest bar: the indoor bar, 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. It stays open when 27 Palms closes for bad weather.
There is no room service, per Marriott’s dining FAQ. For dinner, the nearby chain restaurants are a short walk.
Parking and fees: what you pay on top of the rate
- Resort fee: Booking.com’s breakdown showed US$47.90 for a 2-night sample stay (November 17 to 19, 2026) and US$71.85 for 3 nights (January 20 to 23, 2027), which is US$23.95 per night, with the 12.5% hotel tax on top. The fine print says it includes the scheduled theme park shuttle, Disney send-off bottled water, a daily $10 food and beverage credit, one appetizer, Wi-Fi and all scheduled resort activities. The Marriott pages we could open do not state the amount.
- Self-parking: $25 a day on Marriott’s pages and on Booking.com, in a gated lot. Marriott lists $20 plus tax for stays of up to 8 hours.
- Valet parking: $32 a day on Marriott’s pages.
Since May 12, 2025, the Federal Trade Commission’s Rule on Unfair or Deceptive Fees has required lodging prices to include mandatory fees such as resort fees. Taxes can be shown separately, so compare totals, not base rates. Marriott’s FAQ said the hotel has no electric vehicle charging stations (July 2026 capture). Check-in is from 4:00 p.m., check-out is at 11:00 a.m., and the minimum check-in age is 21. Pets are not allowed; service animals are welcome.
Transport to the parks: what the shuttle covers
The park shuttle is free for guests, and Booking.com lists it in the resort fee. The operator, Firefighters All Services, lists the hotel as “Sheraton Orlando Lake Buena Vista” in its online reservation system. On October 26, 2026, it showed these times and a $0.00 fare for October 28, November 4 and December 9, 2026:
| Destination | Leaves hotel | Returns from park |
|---|---|---|
| Magic Kingdom (Transportation and Ticket Center) | 8:50, 9:50 and 11:45 a.m. | 5:30, 9:00 and 10:30 p.m. |
| Hollywood Studios | 9:50 and 11:45 a.m. | 5:15, 8:45 and 10:15 p.m. |
| Animal Kingdom | 8:50 a.m. | 5:45 p.m. |
| Disney Springs | 4:50 p.m. | 10:45 p.m. |
| Universal Studios / Islands of Adventure | 7:30 a.m. | 7:15 p.m. |
| Epic Universe | 7:30 a.m. | 7:00 p.m. |
There is no separate EPCOT run. The Magic Kingdom bus stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center, where Disney’s EPCOT Monorail starts; the operator labels this run “Magic Kingdom / TTC / Monorail to Epcot”. The system says “reservations can only be made up to 24 hours from the departure time,” so ask the front desk how to book seats. At last check, it also warned of delays of 10 to 15 minutes because of road work.
Marriott’s experiences page still links a May 2025 sheet from Platinum Transportation, and its overview page linked a February 2026 sheet in July 2026. Neither sheet had a Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom run. Platinum’s schedule page did not list this Sheraton on October 26, 2026. An old notice on Marriott’s “What to Expect” page says no shuttle is available. Confirm the current schedule at the front desk.
The only bus back from Animal Kingdom leaves at 5:45 p.m., and the last buses from Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios leave at 10:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. For later park nights, you need a car, a taxi or a rideshare. Disney charges $35 a day for standard theme park parking, valid at all four parks that day. Our guides to hotels near Disney World with a free shuttle and hotels with a shuttle to Disney Springs compare other schedules.
About Disney perks: Marriott’s pages call the resort a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, but it was not among the 42 hotels on the Good Neighbor program’s own list on October 26, 2026. Either way, it is not on Disney’s list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry, and it does not get Extended Evening Theme Park Hours.
Amenities: spa, fitness, Wi-Fi and services
- Top of the Palms Spa: massages, facials and paraffin hand treatments by appointment, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday.
- Sheraton Fitness: open 24 hours and complimentary, with cardio machines, weight machines and free weights.
- Wi-Fi: included in the resort fee on Booking.com. Marriott makes it free for Marriott Bonvoy members who book direct.
- Other services: a convenience store, on-site laundry and daily housekeeping.
- Accessibility: Marriott lists a pool lift or sloped entry, accessible routes to the pool, spa and gym, and hearing-accessible rooms.

Marriott Bonvoy points, elite benefits and member Wi-Fi apply when you book directly with Marriott, so do not expect them on a Booking.com reservation. If points matter, compare the other Marriott hotels near Disney World.
