The 10 off-site hotels below are about 4 to 7.5 road miles from Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and each one sells a real family layout rather than a standard room with two beds.

DoubleTree Suites Disney Springs also has Early Entry. 1. Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area
Drury’s two-room suites are the simplest way to get a bedroom door near Disney without paying a resort fee. A door separates the bedroom from the living area and its pull-out queen sofa sleeper. Drury allows up to six people in a suite (five in a standard room), and every room has a microwave and refrigerator.
The 602-room tower is at 2000 Hotel Plaza Boulevard, about half a mile from Disney Springs; our Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando review has more detail.
- Why stay: the most included food on this list: free hot breakfast from 6 to 10 a.m., the free 5:30 Kickback with hot food and cold drinks from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and free popcorn and soda from 4 to 8 p.m. Add a saltwater pool, whirlpool, splash pad and a 24-hour arcade.
- Getting to the parks: a complimentary shuttle runs every hour to all four Disney theme parks, and Drury is on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list. It also offers free late-night rides back from select special events at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.
- Good to know: no resort fee, but self-parking is $28 a night (there’s no valet).
Best for: families of up to six who want free breakfast and free evening hot food, plus Early Entry.

2. DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando – Disney Springs Area
This is the only all-suite hotel in the Disney Springs Resort Area: 236 suites, mostly one-bedroom, with a private bedroom, a living room with a queen sleeper sofa and a wet bar with microwave and refrigerator. At last check, Hilton listed the two-queen suite (about 540 square feet) for up to six, the king suite for four and studios for two.
The hotel is at 2305 Hotel Plaza Boulevard, roughly a 20-minute walk (about 0.9 mile) from the Disney Springs Marketplace. Our DoubleTree Suites Disney Springs review compares every room type.
- Why stay: a door between the kids’ bedtime and the adults’ evening, a heated pool, whirlpool, splash pad and playground, and Early Theme Park Entry.
- Getting to the parks: a daily shuttle to the Disney theme parks; the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels site says reservations are required, so contact the hotel.
- Good to know: Hilton’s policy page (June 2026 capture) lists a daily resort charge covering the Disney shuttle, internet, two bottled waters a day and Kids Eat Free (one child 12 or under per adult entree), but no amount, so check the rate breakdown; the resort-area site calls the shuttle complimentary. Self-parking was $35 and valet $45 a night, plus tax.
Best for: families of five or six who want a separate bedroom and Early Entry.

3. Buena Vista Suites
The Queen Suite (432 square feet) and Deluxe Queen Suite (553 square feet) have a private bedroom with two queen beds and a living room with a queen sofa bed, microwave, mini cooler and coffee maker; both sleep five. The Deluxe King Suite sleeps four, and the Studio Retreat is a single room for two.
The hotel is at 8203 World Center Drive, next door to its sister resort (see our Caribe Royale Orlando review), and puts Walt Disney World 1.5 miles away.
- Why stay: a free hot breakfast buffet (6:30 to 10 a.m. weekdays, 7 to 10:30 a.m. weekends), free self-parking and a 24-hour market on the lobby level.
- Getting to the parks: a scheduled shuttle, run by Mears, to all four theme parks, plus an evening run to Disney Springs. At the time of writing, the last returns left Magic Kingdom at 11:35 p.m. and EPCOT at 10:35 p.m. Seats are limited: the shuttle page says to book at Guest Services up to 24 hours ahead and at least an hour before departure, but the FAQ says at least 24 hours ahead, so ask at check-in.
- Good to know: the shuttle isn’t free: it’s part of the mandatory hotel fee of $23 plus tax per room, per night, which also covers basic Wi-Fi. No pets (service animals are welcome), and it isn’t on Disney’s Early Entry list.
Best for: families of five who want a bedroom door and included breakfast without renting a car.
4. Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista South
Every room is a two-room suite: a bedroom with a king or two queen beds and a living room with a sofa bed and a wet bar with a microwave and mini-fridge. Hilton’s room pages (last captured in 2025) list the two-queen suite at 505 square feet for up to six and the king suites for four.
Despite the name, the hotel is at 4955 Kyngs Heath Road in Kissimmee, near Old Town and US 192. Our Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista South review has the full fee and shuttle breakdown.
- Why stay: two rooms, a free made-to-order breakfast and a complimentary evening reception, and no resort fee on Hilton’s policy pages at last check.
- Getting to the parks: Platinum Transportation runs a paid shuttle: the schedule linked from Hilton (effective February 1, 2026) had one run a day to EPCOT and to Hollywood Studios, at $10 per person round trip, reservation required, plus morning runs to Universal and Epic Universe.
- Good to know: self-parking was $25 plus tax a day at last check (June 2026 capture). Hilton calls it a Good Neighbor hotel, but it isn’t on Disney’s Early Entry list. Don’t confuse it with Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort on Lake Street.
Best for: families of up to six with a car who want two rooms and free breakfast.

5. Staybridge Suites Orlando Royale Parc Suites
Staybridge is the value pick for bigger families who want both a kitchen and breakfast. Every suite has a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a sleeper sofa. IHG lists one-bedroom suites with a king (up to four) or with two queens or two doubles (up to six), and two-bedroom, two-bathroom suites with a king and two queens (up to eight) or four double beds (up to ten).
The hotel is at 5876 West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (US 192) in Kissimmee, next to Old Town.
- Why stay: a free hot breakfast buffet from 6:30 to 10 a.m. on weekdays and 7 to 10 a.m. on weekends, an outdoor pool with a hot tub, outdoor grills, The Dive poolside bar and grill (5 to 11 p.m.), a 24-hour pantry shop and self-service laundry.
- Getting to the parks: IHG lists a complimentary scheduled shuttle to select theme parks, first come, first served and not for groups of 10 or more; the timetable it links (effective September 2025) has a few morning runs to Universal, Epic Universe, Hollywood Studios (with a Disney bus transfer to Magic Kingdom) and EPCOT, and none to Animal Kingdom or SeaWorld.
- Good to know: IHG lists self-parking at $10 a day (an older page on the hotel’s own site called parking free) and shows no resort fee, but a third-party fee tracker reports a mandatory nightly fee, so check your rate breakdown and confirm with the hotel. The minimum check-in age is 18.
Best for: groups of six to ten who want two bathrooms, a kitchen and free breakfast.

6. Holiday Inn Resort Orlando – Lake Buena Vista
The KidSuites are the reason to book: a king bed for the adults plus a separate kids’ area with bunk beds. The hotel’s rooms page lists the KidSuite with one set of bunks at 381 square feet for four (its FAQ allows five) and the version with two sets of bunks at 397 square feet for six.
The resort is at 13351 State Road 535. It isn’t Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area (which has Early Entry) or Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites (next on this list), so book by exact name.
- Why stay: bunk beds, and kids 12 and under eat free from the kids’ menu at the on-site restaurant (the hotel’s separate Kids Eat Free terms say 11 and under, so ask). There’s a heated pool with two whirlpools and a splash pad, an arcade, a kids’ movie theater and daily pool activities.
- Getting to the parks: the resort fee covers a scheduled shuttle to Disney, Disney Springs, Universal and Epic Universe, first come, first served. On the schedule effective October 5, 2026, buses left at 8:00 and 10:10 a.m. for EPCOT and 11:25 a.m. for Hollywood Studios, the last return left EPCOT at 10:30 p.m., and the Universal and Epic bus left at 7 a.m. Only umbrella strollers are allowed.
- Good to know: the resort fee is $30 plus tax, and self-parking is $20 a day per vehicle. Breakfast isn’t included (a hot buffet opens at 6:30 a.m.). Not on Disney’s Early Entry list.
Best for: kids who want bunk beds and families splitting days between Disney and Universal.

7. Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark
If you want a water park at the hotel, this all-suite resort, the former Nickelodeon Suites, is the pick. Its two-bedroom family suites have a queen or king bedroom, a second bedroom with a bunk bed, a sofa bed, a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. Every suite has a kitchenette or, in one one-bedroom type, a full kitchen.

- Why stay: a separate bunk-bed room for the kids and a water park a short walk from your suite.
- Getting to the parks: the resort fee includes a shuttle to and from Walt Disney World, and the resort tells guests to ask the front desk for the current schedule.
- Good to know: the resort’s own site lists a $54 resort fee, which includes water park access for up to six guests and the Disney shuttle, and self-parking at $31 a day. Check-out is at 10 a.m., and breakfast isn’t included. Not on Disney’s Early Entry list.
Best for: families who want pool days between park days and a bedroom just for the kids.

8. Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa
This condo-style resort is for families who want an apartment. Every suite has a full kitchen, an in-suite washer and dryer and a balcony. At the time of writing the resort listed one-bedroom suites (about 800 square feet) for four, two-bedroom suites (1,080 square feet) for six, three-bedroom suites for eight and four-bedroom suites for ten.
Kids head straight for the Pirates’ Plunge Pool, a zero-depth pool built around a pirate ship with a water slide (48-inch minimum) and water cannons. - Why stay: real bedrooms, laundry in the unit and a pirate-ship pool.
- Getting to the parks: the resort says your stay includes a complimentary shuttle to the Walt Disney World theme parks and Universal, run by Fabulous Buses: book online 24 hours ahead with the promo code you get at check-in. The resort notes the third-party service can change without notice.
- Good to know: a daily resort fee covers self-parking for up to two vehicles, Wi-Fi and local calls, but the resort doesn’t publish the amount, so check the total before you pay. There are no rollaway beds, you must be 21 to check in and breakfast isn’t included.
Best for: two families traveling together, or a family of six to ten who will cook.

9. Floridays Resort Orlando
Floridays sells only two- and three-bedroom suites. The two-bedroom suite (1,017 square feet) has a king master bedroom with a jetted tub, a guest room with two full beds and room for up to six; the three-bedroom suite (1,306 square feet) sleeps up to eight. Every suite has a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer and a private balcony.
The resort is at 12562 International Drive, at the Disney end of I-Drive, about 4 miles by road from Disney Springs. It has a large zero-entry pool with a kids’ splash pad, a quieter second pool and a sandy beach area. Our Floridays Resort Orlando review covers the suites in detail.
- Why stay: apartment-size suites with laundry, at a resort built around families.
- Getting to the parks: the resort fee covers scheduled shuttles to Walt Disney World, Universal, Epic Universe and SeaWorld. Reserve at least three hours ahead; seats are limited and first come, first served.
- Good to know: the resort’s FAQ lists a resort fee of $35 plus 12.5% tax per night, covering self-parking (up to two vehicles), the shuttles and Wi-Fi, but another FAQ answer says $30 plus tax, so confirm at booking. You must be 21 to check in, and breakfast isn’t included. Not on Disney’s Early Entry list.
Best for: families of six to eight who want separate bedrooms and laundry, with a Universal day or two.
10. Sonesta ES Suites Orlando – Lake Buena Vista
Sonesta is the cook-your-own pick. The renovated one-bedroom suites have a king bed plus a living area with a sofa bed, and the two-bedroom suites add a second room with two double beds. Every suite has a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave and dishwasher, and Sonesta says a grocery store is steps away in the next-door plaza.
The hotel is at 8751 Suiteside Drive, which Sonesta puts one mile from the Walt Disney World entrance.
- Why stay: full kitchens, free outdoor grills, on-site laundry and a pool (heated in cooler months) with a whirlpool, baby pool and hot tub.
- Getting to the parks: there’s no hotel shuttle; Sonesta points guests to Uber and Lyft.
- Good to know: self-parking is $17 a night. Breakfast at The Morning Pour cafe (7 to 11 a.m.) costs extra. The minimum check-in age is 21, and Sonesta’s page lists no resort fee. Not on Disney’s Early Entry list.
Best for: week-long stays and families who will cook most meals.

Disney’s own family suites: Art of Animation vs All-Star Music
On Disney property, Family Suites are sold at two Value resorts, Disney’s lowest-priced hotel category: Art of Animation and All-Star Music. Both sleep up to six adults, and you book them directly with Disney, not through Booking.com.

Art of Animation also has what Disney calls the largest resort pool at Walt Disney World. Disney’s page says its rooms will be refurbished in phases from mid-June 2027 through October 2028, and that the Skyliner closes January 24–30, 2027, with buses instead.
Staying with Disney adds perks no off-site hotel here fully matches: Early Theme Park Entry, the option to buy Lightning Lane passes up to seven days before your stay (three days for most off-site guests), and free standard theme park and overnight self-parking. Drury Plaza and DoubleTree Suites get Early Entry, but not the seven-day window. Off-site suites can add free breakfast, a full kitchen or a second bedroom, so price both. Family suite or two hotel rooms?
Two standard rooms give you two bathrooms and four real beds, but you pay two room rates and usually two resort fees, since hotels charge them per room. A suite keeps everyone in one booking, often with a door for the adults.
- Book one suite when your children are young and the suite’s occupancy covers everyone.
- Book two rooms for teens or grandparents who need their own bathroom, after asking whether connecting rooms can be guaranteed.
- Book a two-bedroom suite at Staybridge, LBV Resort Village or Floridays when you need both: separate bedrooms and more than one bathroom in a single booking.
The real nightly cost: fees, parking and transport
Since May 12, 2025, the FTC’s fee rule has required hotels and booking sites to show the total price, including mandatory fees such as resort fees. It doesn’t ban or cap those fees, and taxes can be shown separately before you pay.
- Count park parking if you drive. Disney’s standard theme park parking is $35 a day, tax included, at the time of writing, on top of hotel parking; Disney Resort hotel guests don’t pay it.
- Let the shuttle replace the car only if the times work. Several shuttles here serve only one or two parks, run a few times a day or need a reservation. Compare schedules in our guide to hotels with free Disney World shuttles.
- Skip resort fees where you can. Drury Plaza, Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista South and Sonesta ES Suites listed no resort fee at last check, and Drury also includes a park shuttle; see more Orlando hotels with no resort fees.

Prices change by date, so price both, then compare an off-site two-room suite with free breakfast, such as Drury Plaza or Buena Vista Suites.

Do off-site family hotels get Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry?
Only some. On this list, Drury Plaza and DoubleTree Suites in the Disney Springs Resort Area are on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list, which gives guests 30 minutes in all four theme parks before regular opening every day, with valid admission. The other eight hotels aren’t, even where the brand calls them Good Neighbor hotels.

Drury Plaza runs a complimentary hourly shuttle to all four parks; Staybridge Suites advertises a complimentary first-come, first-served shuttle, and Lake Buena Vista Resort Village a complimentary shuttle you reserve.
