The Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando is still open at 325 South Orange Avenue, but it has a new name: Hotel Beauden, Autograph Collection. The change was announced on September 2, 2026, and the tower stays in Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
You get a 247-room downtown hotel with Art Deco interiors, a heated rooftop pool and an easy walk to the Dr. Phillips Center, the Kia Center and Church Street. You do not get a theme park hotel: no park shuttle is listed, and parking is valet only.
Facts below come from the hotel’s website and its Marriott pages, including archived copies where the live page was blocked, so confirm prices before you book.
Quick answer: Book Hotel Beauden (the former Grand Bohemian) for a downtown night out: the Dr. Phillips Center is about a 6-minute walk, the Kia Center about 8 minutes, and the rooftop pool is heated. Skip it if the parks are your main plan. There is no park shuttle, Universal is about 8 miles by road, Disney is 20 to 22 miles away, and valet parking was $42 a day at our last check.

What changed when Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando became Hotel Beauden
The new identity was announced on September 2, 2026, in a release from the hotel and Autograph Collection. The name (pronounced “Boh-den”) nods to Orlando’s nickname, “The City Beautiful,” and the release says the hotel keeps its service, leadership and local relationships. The hotel’s own website now introduces it as “formerly the Grand Bohemian Orlando.”
- New restaurant names: The Boheme and the Bösendorfer Lounge are now Libra and Bar Libra.
- Refreshed public spaces: a new lobby mural by artist Amy Rader, a redesigned Rotunda and a Steinway grand piano in the Garden Rotunda.
- Same brand family: still a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, bookable with Marriott Bonvoy.
- The old name lingers: Booking.com’s page address still uses “grand-bohemian,” and some maps show the old name.
The rebrand follows an $18 million renovation of the guest rooms and public spaces that the announcement says was completed in 2024, although an archived Marriott pre-arrival page (September 8, 2025) still asked guests to excuse room renovation noise. Older online photos and reviews may show a different look.
Location and walking distances downtown
Location is the hotel’s biggest strength. The walking times below come from OpenStreetMap routes at a normal pace.
| From the hotel to | Walk | Distance |
|---|---|---|
| Orlando City Hall | About 4 min | 0.2 mi |
| Church Street SunRail | About 5 min | 0.2 mi |
| Dr. Phillips Center | About 6 min | 0.3 mi |
| Kia Center | About 8 min | 0.4 mi |
| Lake Eola Park (southwest corner) | About 11 min | 0.5 mi |
| Inter&Co Stadium | About 15 min | 0.7 mi |
For Magic games and arena concerts, compare our hotels near the Kia Center. Camping World Stadium is about 1.8 miles by car, an easy rideshare on bowl game nights; see hotels near Camping World Stadium for closer stays.
LYMMO, the downtown bus rapid transit service run by LYNX, helps on hot days. Its Orange and Grapefruit lines list stops at the Dr. Phillips Center and City Hall, and the Grapefruit Line also serves the Kia Center, Lake Eola and SunRail. LYNX lists hours of 6 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 8:25 p.m. on weekends.
| By car to | Road distance | No traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Universal Orlando garages | About 8.4 mi | About 15 min |
| Epic Universe parking | About 11.5 mi | About 20 min |
| Orlando airport (MCO) | About 13 mi | About 25 min |
| SeaWorld Orlando | About 14 mi | About 23 min |
| EPCOT parking | About 21 mi | About 33 min |
| Magic Kingdom (TTC) | About 22 mi | About 32 min |
These are free-flow OSRM road estimates; I-4 runs right past downtown and is often congested, so allow extra time. Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom parking entrance are about 20 and 21 miles away. Marriott lists the airport as 12.0 miles, a little shorter than the road route.
Rooms and suites

Marriott lists 247 rooms and suites (the rebrand announcement cites 248), and the hotel describes them in slate blues with brass accents and Deco-inspired textures. Every room has original art by Orlando artist John Whipple.
| Room type | Beds | Size | Sleeps |
|---|---|---|---|
| King room | 1 king | About 350 sq ft | 3 |
| Two-queen room | 2 queens | About 350 sq ft | 4 |
| Executive Suite | King + sofa bed | About 613 sq ft | 4 |
| Jacuzzi Suite | King + sofa bed | About 636 sq ft | 4 |
| Presidential Suite | 1 king | About 1,320 sq ft | 3 |
Sizes and occupancy come from Marriott’s room data in an archived copy from January 25, 2026, before the rename (the current page no longer shows them, and sizes are approximate). That data listed one rollaway at $25 a night in king rooms and suites, none in two-queen rooms, one crib per room and no room type for more than 4 guests, so a family of five needs two rooms.
The Jacuzzi Suite has a whirlpool tub that opens to the bedroom, and the Presidential Suite is a 15th-floor corner suite with living and dining space. Rooms in that data had marble bathrooms, robes, a coffee and tea maker, a minibar, a desk and a safe.
Altira rooftop pool and recreation

Altira Pool + Lounge sits high above the downtown streets, with greenery, lounge seating and a bar. Marriott lists the pool as heated and open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, with towels at no charge. The lounge runs 4 to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday to Sunday.
Think city rooftop, not resort pool: the Altira Poolside Series brings DJ sets, wellness sessions and cabana social hours, and no slides or splash pad is listed. Compare it with our Orlando hotels with rooftop pools.
Dining, breakfast and the Sunday jazz brunch

| Outlet | What it is | Hours |
|---|---|---|
| Libra | Signature restaurant | Breakfast, lunch, dinner to 10 p.m. |
| Bar Libra | Cocktails, small plates | 11 a.m.-midnight |
| Starbucks | Coffee off the lobby | 6 a.m.-6 p.m. |
| Altira Pool + Lounge | Rooftop bites, drinks | Until 10 p.m. |
Hours are from the Marriott dining page and Libra’s website at the time of writing. The rebrand announcement describes Libra’s menu as shaped by Hispanic, Floridian and Asian influences, and breakfast runs 7 to 11 a.m. Monday to Saturday and 7 to 9:15 a.m. on Sunday. Breakfast is extra on standard rates, but the hotel’s site advertises packages with breakfast for two, one with a 2 p.m. late checkout.
The Sunday Jazz Brunch takes place in the Garden Rotunda with live Steinway piano music and unlimited mimosas. Marriott lists it from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., while Libra’s site says 2 p.m., so check when you reserve. The Peacock Room and the Wine Room handle private dinners.
Parking, fees and policies
Marriott’s overview page was blocked when we checked in October 2026, so these figures come from its last readable archived copy (March 15, 2026, before the rename). Confirm them with the hotel.
- Valet parking: $42 a day, $25 for daytime parking and $52 overnight for oversized vehicles. No self-parking was listed.
- Electric cars: an electric car charging station was listed.
- Resort fee: none listed. Orange County hotel taxes add 12.5% to the room rate at the time of writing.
- Check-in and checkout: 4 p.m. and 11 a.m.; minimum check-in age 21.
- Smoking: listed as a smoke-free property.
Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book, and big nights at the Kia Center or the Dr. Phillips Center can fill downtown hotels.
Getting to Disney, Universal and the airport
No theme park shuttle is listed, so plan on driving or a rideshare. Universal is about 15 minutes away without traffic and Disney roughly 30 to 35 minutes, much longer at rush hour. At the time of writing, standard parking costs $35 a day at Disney and $35 at Universal, on top of valet. The hotel is not on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list, and Universal’s Early Park Admission is a perk of Universal’s own hotels and some annual passes, so a stay here includes neither.
For the airport, Marriott’s pre-rename page listed no shuttle, only a reservable car service at $95 one way. The Church Street SunRail station, 5 minutes on foot, has commuter trains north to Winter Park and DeLand and south to Kissimmee and Poinciana, but none to the theme parks or the airport; check the timetable first. Our guide to getting around Orlando without a car covers more options.
Amenities: fitness, spa, Wi-Fi and pets

- Fitness center: open 24 hours and free, with cardio machines and free weights.
- Spa: Marriott listed the on-site Poseidon Spa before the rename, but the current Hotel Beauden pages do not mention it, and Marriott’s experiences page now lists only the pool and fitness center on site and suggests day spas nearby. Ask before you plan a treatment.
- Wi-Fi: complimentary for Marriott Bonvoy members; joining is free.
- Pets: up to two dogs of up to 40 pounds each per room, per the current accommodations page. The pre-rename policy listed a $150 nonrefundable fee per stay.
- Live music: a resident pianist plays the Steinway in the Garden Rotunda for the hotel’s evening Civic Renaissance experience.
Who Hotel Beauden suits
It suits couples on a city break, theatergoers, fans heading to a game or concert, wedding guests and business travelers who want to walk everywhere. The rooftop bar and jazz brunch make it a natural anniversary pick; see our romantic hotels in Orlando for couples for more.

It suits theme park families less well. You pay for valet every night and drive 20-plus miles to Disney, groups of five need two rooms, and travelers under 21 cannot check in on their own.
Pros
- Short walks to the Dr. Phillips Center, the Kia Center and Church Street.
- Heated rooftop pool with a lounge and city views.
- Renovated Art Deco spaces and local art in every room.
- Libra, Bar Libra, a Starbucks and a Sunday jazz brunch on site.
- No resort fee listed, a 24-hour gym, and dogs up to 40 pounds welcome.
Limitations to know
- Valet-only parking, $42 a day at our last check.
- No park or airport shuttle; Disney is 20 to 22 miles away.
- You must be 21 to check in.
- No room type was listed for more than 4 guests, and two-queen rooms take no rollaway.
- Breakfast costs extra unless you book a package.
- The pool closes at 6 p.m., and pet and spa details differ between pages since the rename.
What to check before you book
- The current valet price and how in-and-out access works.
- Whether a breakfast package beats paying for breakfast separately.
- The pet fee and how many dogs you can bring.
- Whether spa treatments are still offered.
- The bed setup for families: two queens, or a suite with a sofa bed and a crib.
- The address on your booking, since some sites still say Grand Bohemian Orlando.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando still open?
Yes. The tower at 325 South Orange Avenue operates as Hotel Beauden, Autograph Collection, a name announced on September 2, 2026. It is still a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel, the announcement says its service and leadership stay in place, and the restaurant and lounge are now Libra and Bar Libra. Some maps and booking sites still show the Grand Bohemian name.
How much is parking at the Grand Bohemian Orlando?
Parking is valet only. At our last check of Marriott’s hotel page (March 2026, before the rename), overnight valet was $42 a day, daytime valet $25 and oversized vehicles $52 overnight, and an electric car charging station was listed. Prices can change after a rebrand, so confirm the current rate with the hotel before you arrive.
Does Hotel Beauden have a rooftop pool?
Yes. Altira Pool + Lounge is a heated rooftop pool with lounge seating, a bar and downtown views. Marriott lists pool hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, with towels at no charge, while the lounge serves food and drinks until 10 p.m. It is a pool deck for relaxing, with no slides or splash area listed.
Does Hotel Beauden have a shuttle to Disney World or Universal?
No theme park shuttle is listed, and the hotel’s pre-rename Marriott page said it does not run an airport shuttle either. Most guests drive or use a rideshare: Universal is about 8 miles by road and the Disney parks about 20 to 22 miles. Budget for park parking too, $35 a day for standard parking at Disney and Universal at the time of writing.
Is Hotel Beauden pet-friendly?
Yes, with limits. The current Marriott accommodations page welcomes up to two dogs of up to 40 pounds each per room. The pre-rename policy listed a $150 nonrefundable pet fee per stay and also mentioned a one-pet limit, so the details conflict. Confirm the fee and the number of pets with the hotel. Service animals are welcome without a fee.
Bottom line
Hotel Beauden, the former Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, is a polished downtown base for shows, games and a couples’ weekend, with a heated rooftop pool and art-filled rooms. It is a weak fit for a theme park vacation because of the valet-only parking, the lack of a park shuttle and the 21-and-over check-in rule. If downtown is your plan, book early for big event nights.
