Reunion Resort Orlando, officially Reunion Resort & Golf Club, is a gated 2,300-acre villa and vacation-home resort in Kissimmee, just off I-4 near ChampionsGate. Instead of hotel rooms you get condo-style villas or private homes with full kitchens, plus three signature golf courses, a five-acre private water park and a scheduled shuttle to Walt Disney World.
It suits families and golf groups who want space and don’t mind a 20- to 30-minute drive to the parks. We checked fees, rules and shuttle times on Reunion’s own pages.
Quick answer: Book Reunion if you want a one- to three-bedroom villa with a kitchen, a private water park and golf on site, at a lower-key address than Lake Buena Vista. Budget for the $40 plus tax nightly resort fee and $20 plus tax daily parking, and plan on a car: the free Disney shuttle runs only a few fixed times a day.

Where Reunion Resort Orlando is and how far the parks are
Reunion sits on the southwest edge of the Disney area, right by the Polk County line. The main gate is on Reunion Boulevard, off Osceola Polk Line Road (County Road 532) near I-4 Exit 58.
Reunion’s FAQ says Disney’s parks are 6 miles away, but that’s closer to a straight line. Road routes from the Reunion Grande are longer:
| Destination | Road distance | Typical drive |
|---|---|---|
| Animal Kingdom parking | About 7–9 mi | 17–21 min |
| Hollywood Studios | About 10–13 mi | 25–27 min |
| EPCOT | About 11–13 mi | 25–27 min |
| Magic Kingdom (TTC lot) | About 12–14 mi | 23–25 min |
| SeaWorld Orlando | About 17 mi | 28 min |
| Universal Orlando | About 20 mi | 31 min |
| Orlando airport (MCO) | About 29 mi | 44 min |
The range depends on the gate: shorter figures use the resort’s roads out to Old Lake Wilson Road, longer ones the main gate and I-4. Times assume no traffic. For more on this side of town, see our guide to hotels in Davenport, Florida.
Villas, suites and vacation homes
Reunion has more than 200 villas in six communities, with one to three bedrooms. Every unit has a full kitchen and a living area. Villas add a dining area and a balcony or patio, many facing a golf course. Reunion says every unit has a washer and dryer, either in the unit or in the building.

At the time of writing, the Booking.com listing sells seven unit types, each labeled “Waterpark Access”:
- Grande tower suites: a one-bedroom suite (one king bed) and a two-bedroom suite (one king and two full beds). Reunion lists the one-bedroom at 1,292 to 1,950 square feet.
- One- and two-bedroom villas: a one-bedroom with a king bed, a two-bedroom with a king and two full beds, and a deluxe two-bedroom with a king and two twin beds.
- Three-bedroom villas: a two-bath version (king, full and two twin beds) and a three-bath version (king, queen and two full beds).

The 80-plus vacation homes are booked through Reunion’s rentals site, not this listing. Its homes page gives three to 14 bedrooms, but the site’s search box goes up to 15 and the FAQ mentions up to 13, so check each listing. Many have private pools. Compare them in our guide to Orlando vacation homes with a private pool. Daily service isn’t complimentary (you can pay for it at the front desk), and Pack ‘n Plays are free on request.
Water park and eight pools
The five-acre water park is the big draw for families. It has a zero-entry pool, a 1,000-foot lazy river with free tubes, the Volcano Twist waterslide, a kids’ splash zone with two small slides for children under 50 inches, a water playground with a tipping bucket, and a sand beach.

- Access: the park is private, and you can’t pay at the gate. Pick up amenity wristbands at the Grande front desk; you get as many as your unit’s maximum occupancy.
- Rules: there are no lifeguards, the water is 3 to 4 feet deep, and capacity is capped at 500 guests. Kids 12 and under must stay with an adult, and under-16s need an adult 18 or older.
- Slide limits: Volcano Twist requires 42 inches, a single rider and 30 to 280 pounds.
- Extras: chairs, umbrellas and towels are free. Paid cabanas guarantee entry when the park is full. No coolers or outside meals.
Of the eight community pools, Seven Eagles has two hot tubs, the Cove Bar & Grill and the fitness center, and Villas North has a kids’ pool with a slide. The pools and water park are heated in cooler months. Only the water park hands out towels, so take the ones from your villa.
Golf at Reunion: Palmer, Watson and Nicklaus
Reunion says it’s the only place in the world with courses by Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus in one spot. Reunion’s golf page and scorecards list all three as par 72 from the longest tees: Palmer’s Legacy course at 6,916 yards, with elevation changes of up to 50 feet; Watson’s Independence course at 7,154 yards, which rewards a solid short game; and Nicklaus’s Tradition course at 7,219 yards, with elevated tees and greens.

- Who can play: Reunion guests, plus homes from its preferred rental partners where the home includes amenity access. The resort fee covers course access, but green fees are extra and tee times aren’t guaranteed. Book early at 407-396-3199.
- Practice: putting and chipping are free for guests. The range costs $25 without a booked tee time.
- Rentals: Callaway sets cost $75 a day, and a non-golfer can ride along for $40 per cart (golf attire required).
- Extras: the Golfzon Leadbetter Academy’s world headquarters, a Club Champion fitting studio and a 24-bay Golfzon simulator at the Nicklaus Clubhouse.
Each course closes for a few maintenance days, which Reunion lists in its FAQ (Palmer, for example, on October 26–27 and November 23–24, 2026). Our Orlando golf resorts guide compares Reunion with Omni and other resorts that have their own courses.
Tennis, kids’ activities and other amenities
- Tennis and pickleball: clay tennis courts and pickleball courts at the Tennis Centre, at $30 an hour at the time of writing, plus clinics.
- Mini golf and FootGolf: mini golf is $14 for adults and $8 for kids 4 to 12. FootGolf runs on the Watson course Sunday to Wednesday afternoons, $30 per adult with a ball and cart ($15 under 15 per the FAQ). Pages differ on the start time (3 or 4 p.m.).
- Getting around: a free 24-hour on-property shuttle, booked in the Ride Reunion app. Golf carts rent for $165 (4 seats) or $185 (6 seats) plus tax per day.
- Fitness and Wi-Fi: both are included in the resort fee.
- Family extras: two playgrounds, bike rentals, bocce and a lobby shop.
Reunion’s amenity lists include no spa and no kids’ club.
Restaurants and breakfast
Reunion lists seven restaurants and bars, all open to the public. The three in the Reunion Grande serve dinner, generally Tuesday to Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m.:
- 7593 Chophouse: steaks, seafood and a long wine list.
- Eleven: a rooftop restaurant with small plates, cocktails and weekend entertainment. On a clear night you may spot the theme park fireworks.
- Lobby Sushi Bar: sushi and light plates.

By day, the Clubhouse (Palmer and Watson) is open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and serves breakfast: eggs, omelets and pancakes. Traditions at the Nicklaus Clubhouse serves American comfort food from 11 a.m., with a Sunday brunch. Hours vary by season.
Resort fee, parking and taxes
According to Reunion’s FAQ, the resort fee is $40 plus tax per night at the time of writing, and it may be higher for larger homes. It includes Wi-Fi, the fitness center, water park and pool access, the on-resort shuttle and the scheduled Disney shuttle. It also gives you access to the golf courses, tennis, pickleball and mini golf, though you still pay to play.
Parking costs $20 plus tax per day per unit. There’s no valet, and RVs, boats and trailers aren’t allowed. Reunion is in Osceola County, where the hotel tax is 13.5%. The resort is cashless. Check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 10 a.m. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
Getting to Disney, Universal and the airport
The complimentary theme park shuttle, operated by Platinum Transportation, leaves from the Reunion Grande. Reserve online up to three days ahead, no later than 7 p.m. the day before. Here’s the schedule in effect from October 5, 2026:
- To the parks: 8:25 a.m. to Hollywood Studios, and 10:55 a.m. to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. For Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom, you transfer to a Disney bus.
- Back to Reunion: 6:00 p.m. from EPCOT, 10:45 p.m. from Hollywood Studios and 10:50 p.m. from EPCOT.
- Restrictions: limited seats, umbrella strollers only, no groups of 10 or more, and no service for Disney’s after-hours parties.
Wheelchair users should book ahead: the transportation page and Platinum’s schedule say 24 hours, but one FAQ answer asks for 72 hours, so allow 72.
As off-site guests, you book Lightning Lane three days ahead, not seven. To make rope drop at Magic Kingdom, you’ll have to drive: standard Disney parking was $35 a day at last check. Reunion has no shuttle to Universal, SeaWorld or the airports. Platinum sells airport transfers, but a rental car is the easiest option.
Who Reunion suits
Reunion works best for families and multigenerational groups who want two or three bedrooms, a kitchen and laundry for a week of Disney days and water park afternoons. It’s also a strong pick for golf groups. Without a car, or if you want nightlife within walking distance, it will feel isolated. For a wider shortlist, see our 2- and 3-bedroom suites near Disney World.

Limitations to know

- The water park has no lifeguards.

What to check before you book
- Amenity access: Reunion’s water park page says third-party bookings don’t get water park access. The Booking.com units say “Waterpark Access”, so confirm wristbands with Reunion (833-258-0472) before you pay.
- Age: the Booking.com listing sets a minimum check-in age of 25.
- Cancellation: Booking.com rates have their own terms, so read them before you pay.
- Dates: check the golf maintenance list, and reserve shuttle seats as soon as the three-day window opens.

Frequently asked questions
Does Reunion Resort have a shuttle to Disney World?
Yes. A complimentary shuttle, covered by the resort fee, runs from the Reunion Grande to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Reserve online up to three days ahead, by 7 p.m. the day before. From October 5, 2026, it leaves at 8:25 and 10:55 a.m. and returns at 6:00, 10:45 and 10:50 p.m. Platinum says times can change.
How much is the resort fee at Reunion Resort?
At the time of writing, Reunion’s FAQ lists a $40 plus tax daily resort fee, which may be higher for larger vacation homes. It covers Wi-Fi, the water park and pools, both shuttles, the fitness center, and access to golf and tennis, though rounds and court time cost extra. Parking is another $20 plus tax per day.
Can you use the Reunion water park if you book on Booking.com?
The units on the Booking.com listing are all labeled “Waterpark Access”, and eligible stays include the water park in the resort fee, with wristbands from the Grande front desk. But Reunion’s water park page says third-party bookings have no access, and you can’t buy passes at the gate, so confirm with Reunion before you pay.
How far is Reunion Resort from Disney World?
Reunion says Disney’s parks are 6 miles away, but that’s close to a straight-line figure. By road from the Reunion Grande, it’s about 7 to 9 miles to the Animal Kingdom parking entrance, 11 to 13 miles to EPCOT, and 12 to 14 miles to the Magic Kingdom lot. Most drives take about 17 to 27 minutes without traffic, depending on the gate.
Can non-golfers stay at Reunion Resort?
Yes. Non-golfers get the five-acre water park, eight pools, tennis, pickleball, mini golf, playgrounds and seven restaurants and bars. A non-golfer can ride along in a cart for $40, wearing golf attire. There’s no spa on site, so plan a spa day elsewhere.
Are pets allowed at Reunion Resort?
No. Reunion’s FAQ says pets aren’t permitted in its villas or vacation homes, though certified service animals are allowed. Smoking and vaping are banned in every unit and inside the water park, though the resort has designated smoking areas. Traveling with a dog? Choose a pet-friendly hotel nearby and confirm its fees.
Bottom line
Choose Reunion Resort Orlando when space matters more than being close to the parks. You get a villa with a kitchen, a private water park and three signature golf courses, about 25 minutes from Disney. Plan on a car, budget for the $40 resort fee and $20 parking, and confirm your amenity wristbands when you book.
