Location and distances from Flamingo Crossings
Flamingo Crossings Town Center calls itself a master-planned, mixed-use development with hotels, shopping and dining at the western gateway to Walt Disney World Resort. The hotel is on Hartzog Road, off Western Way near the State Road 429 toll road.
Marriott’s overview (March 2026 capture) calls this the closest Gateway Hotel to Disney World. Its experiences page lists Walt Disney World Resort at 1.0 mile, EPCOT at 5.0 miles and Magic Kingdom at 7.4 miles. Our road routes end at each park’s parking lot or toll plaza, so they run longer, and return trips can add up to a mile.
| Destination | By road | Drive, no traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Animal Kingdom guest parking | About 5 mi | 11 to 13 min |
| EPCOT toll plaza / main lot | About 6 / 7 mi | 13 to 17 min |
| Magic Kingdom (TTC lot) | About 7.5 mi | 13 to 15 min |
| Hollywood Studios toll plaza | About 7 to 7.5 mi | 18 to 20 min |
| Disney Springs (Lime garage) | About 7.5 to 8 mi | 15 to 16 min |
| ESPN Wide World of Sports | About 7 mi | About 16 min |
| Universal (garage toll plaza) | About 17 mi | About 30 min |
| Epic Universe toll plaza | About 16 mi | 28 to 31 min |
| Orlando airport (MCO) | About 25 mi | About 41 min |
Marriott’s overview (March 2026 capture) lists Orlando International Airport at 26.7 miles and says the hotel does not provide an airport shuttle. Mears Connect’s list of hotels served had no Flamingo Crossings hotel at last check, so see our guide to getting from Orlando airport to Disney World for the options.
On foot, our route to Target is about 0.4 miles, roughly 9 minutes. The Town Center directory (October 2026) lists Target, a 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Five Guys, Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ, Dunkin’, Wendy’s and an AdventHealth ER, among others.
Rooms: king and two-queen suites with sofa beds
Every room is a suite. Marriott’s room pages (checked October 28, 2026) list three types in two layouts, each with a living area behind a privacy wall, a sofa bed, a desk, a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker.
| Suite | Beds | Size | Sleeps |
|---|---|---|---|
| King Suite | 1 king bed, 1 sofa bed | 327 sq ft | 3 |
| Two-Queen Suite | 2 queen beds, 1 sofa bed | 410 sq ft | 5 |
| Fireworks View Two-Queen Suite | 2 queen beds, 1 sofa bed, high floor | 410 sq ft | 5 |

Marriott does not permit rollaway beds and allows one crib per suite, so a party of six needs two suites; connecting rooms are available for some rooms. There is no stovetop and no dishwasher.
Marriott now promotes a bookable “newly renovated Disney Fireworks View Queen Studio Suite” on a high floor, and Booking.com sells it as “Queen Suite with Two Queen Beds – Fireworks View”. Neither page says which park’s fireworks you can see, so ask the hotel. Our list of hotels with views of Disney fireworks covers other options.
Marriott lists a shower in the bathrooms; accessible rooms come with a tub or a roll-in shower. Booking.com describes one hearing-accessible suite with one queen bed and 32 square meters, which does not match Marriott’s layouts, so confirm the beds before you book it.
Pool, hot tub and recreation

The outdoor pool sits in a palm-lined courtyard with loungers, a fire-pit lounge and Flamingo’s Bar & Grille. Marriott’s experiences page (October 28, 2026) lists it as heated and open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, with towels provided. The whirlpool is next to the fitness center. Marriott lists a pool lift or sloped entry for accessibility, and neither Marriott nor Booking.com lists a waterslide.
Marriott also lists batting cages, a practice field and a picnic pavilion with grills, open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for hotel guests only, at no charge. The hotel’s photos show a covered patio with a ping-pong table and cornhole boards beside the pool.
Free breakfast, Flamingo’s Bar & Grille and the coffee bar

Breakfast is a free hot buffet in the lobby area. Marriott lists eggs, sausage, hot and cold cereals, yogurt and a DIY Mickey waffle station, from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday to Friday and 7 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On weekdays you have almost an hour before the 7:25 a.m. bus. On weekends breakfast opens only 25 minutes before it.
Every Booking.com rate shown for our sample dates included breakfast. A template line in Marriott’s dining FAQ says breakfast is “also available” for a fee, so check your rate.
Flamingo’s Bar & Grille is the casual American restaurant and bar by the pool, with indoor tables and a patio. Marriott lists it from noon to 11 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and noon to midnight on Friday and Saturday; the kitchen closes an hour earlier.

Flamingo’s Coffee Bar, in the SpringHill lobby, serves Starbucks drinks from 6:30 a.m. to noon daily. Marriott’s overview (March 2026 capture) also lists free coffee and tea in the lobby. There is no room service.
Parking, resort fee and policies
- Parking: $17 a day plus 6.5% tax, RVs included, on Marriott’s overview page (March 2026 capture). Booking.com shows US$18 a day with no reservation needed (October 28, 2026). With tax, $17 comes to about $18.11, so the two figures agree.
- Resort fee: none. Booking.com’s price breakdowns for November 17 to 19 and December 8 to 10, 2026, and January 20 to 22, 2027 showed the room rate plus a 12.50% tax line and nothing else.
- Pets: not allowed. Marriott accepts service animals only.
- Check-in and age: check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m. Marriott sets the minimum check-in age at 18; Booking.com says there is no age requirement.
- Cribs: Marriott allows one crib per suite. Booking.com lists a free crib for ages 0 to 2 and, in the next line, says cribs are not available, so request it with the hotel.
- Children and early departure: Booking.com prices children 12 and older as adults, and its fine print says the property charges the full stay if you leave early.
A worked example with the published figures: for a four-night stay with a car, hotel parking is $68 before tax, or about $72.42 with the 6.5% tax. If you drive to the parks instead of taking the shuttle, Disney’s parking page (October 28, 2026) lists standard theme park parking at $35 per day.
Free Disney shuttle: October 2026 times
Firefighters All Services operates the shuttle and its reservation system. The schedule link on Marriott’s overview page (March 2026 capture) now opens the operator’s October 2026 flyer, which lists two morning departures from SpringHill Suites for guests of both hotels:
| Park | Leaves the hotel | Returns from the park |
|---|---|---|
| Animal Kingdom | 7:25 a.m. | 5:45 p.m. |
| Hollywood Studios | 10:05 a.m. | 5:15 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. |
| Magic Kingdom area (TTC) | 7:25 a.m. and 10:05 a.m. | 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. |
The 7:25 a.m. bus serves the TTC and Animal Kingdom, and the 10:05 a.m. bus serves Hollywood Studios and the TTC. On October 28, 2026, the operator’s booking system showed the same times for November 12 and December 9, 2026.
- Reserve on the operator’s site from 24 hours before departure until 1 hour before. Seats are first come, first served.
- Groups of 10 or more may not use the shuttle. Luggage, food, drinks and smoking are not allowed on board, and strollers must be folded.
- Wheelchair users should reserve online 24 hours ahead; each bus takes up to two wheelchairs or scooters.
- Be at the pickup point 10 minutes early; the flyer says missed buses are not reimbursed.
There is no direct bus to EPCOT, Disney Springs, the water parks or Universal. For Magic Kingdom, the bus stops at the TTC and you continue on Disney transportation; the operator names this stop “Magic Kingdom / TTC / Monorail to Epcot”. Hollywood Studios gets only the 10:05 a.m. run, so drive if you want to arrive earlier. Our guide to hotels near Animal Kingdom with a shuttle compares this bus with nine others.
Amenities: fitness, game room, laundry and Wi-Fi

The hotel’s photos show a game room with air hockey, racing games and claw machines. Marriott’s fitness center card says it is open 24 hours a day, but the FAQ on the same page gives 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., so check at the desk if you train late.
Marriott also lists a business center, a convenience store, on-site laundry and mobile key, and its attraction tickets and concierge desk helps with Disney tickets, car rentals and airport transfers (March 2026 capture). Booking.com and Marriott’s room details list free Wi-Fi, but Marriott’s overview FAQ (March 2026 capture) ties free in-room internet to Bonvoy members who book direct. Bonvoy points and member rates apply only to direct bookings with Marriott, not to Booking.com reservations.
Who SpringHill Suites Flamingo Crossings suits
It suits couples and families of up to five who will spend most days at Disney, eat breakfast at the hotel and want an early bus to Animal Kingdom or the Magic Kingdom area. Youth sports families bound for ESPN Wide World of Sports, about 7 miles away, get batting cages, but groups of 10 or more cannot use the shuttle.
It is a weaker fit for families of six, travelers who want to cook and anyone who wants Early Theme Park Entry. Our list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry shows where that perk is available.

Marriott lists a maximum of three in the king suite (one king bed and a sofa bed, 327 square feet) and five in the two-queen suites (two queen beds and a sofa bed, 410 square feet). Rollaway beds are not permitted, so a group of six needs two suites.
