Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings, officially Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center, is an all-suite Hilton just outside Walt Disney World’s western entrance where every suite has a full kitchen, breakfast is free and the pool has a waterslide. It sits at 411 Flagler Avenue, off State Road 429, and Hilton lists 229 rooms.

It’s a Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel, not a Disney resort: you get free scheduled shuttles and a Target a short walk away, but no Early Theme Park Entry. This review covers suites, food, fees, the shuttle timetable and road distances, checked on Hilton’s live pages and the shuttle operator’s booking system in October 2026.

Quick answer: Book Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings if you want a suite for up to six with a full kitchen, free hot breakfast, a heated slide pool, $20 parking and no resort fee listed, and you’ll drive or take a fixed-time free shuttle to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios or the Magic Kingdom area. Skip it if you want Early Theme Park Entry, easy Disney Springs evenings without a car or a short hop to Universal.

Location and distances from Flamingo Crossings

Flamingo Crossings Town Center calls itself a master-planned, mixed-use development at the western gateway to Walt Disney World Resort. The address says Winter Garden, but you’re next to Disney property, and Hilton lists Disney College Program student housing about a mile away: expect a new district of hotels and chain restaurants, not a tourist strip.

Our road routes (OSRM, no traffic) end at each park’s guest parking. Hilton’s own figures: ESPN Wide World of Sports 7 miles, Walt Disney World Resort 8, Universal 17 and the airport 25.

Animal Kingdom is the easy morning: Western Way, Buena Vista Drive and Osceola Parkway take you to its guest parking in about 11 minutes. If your trip centers on that park, compare our hotels near Animal Kingdom. For tournaments, Hilton says the hotel is less than 15 minutes from ESPN Wide World of Sports (our route: about 16 minutes); see our hotels near ESPN Wide World of Sports.

On foot, the Town Center is the real perk: our walking route to Target is about 0.3 miles, roughly six minutes. The official directory also lists Starbucks, Dunkin’, Five Guys, Hash House A Go Go, Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ, Token Ramen & Tea, Pieology and a 7-Eleven, plus an AdventHealth ER. Tenants change, so check the directory first.

Rooms: studios and one-bedroom suites with full kitchens

Every room is a suite. Hilton’s room descriptions list a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, dishwasher and coffee maker, a dining table that doubles as a desk, and a sofa bed in the living area. There are three basic layouts, each also sold with a pool view or as an accessible version.

SuiteBedsSleepsLayout
King Studio Suite1 king + sofa bed4Open plan
King One-Bedroom Suite1 king + sofa bed4Separate bedroom, 2 TVs
Two-Queen One-Bedroom Suite2 queens + sofa bed6Separate bedroom, 2 TVs

For five or six people, book the two-queen one-bedroom suite: the bedroom has its own TV, and the sofa bed is in the living room. Hilton doesn’t publish square footage, and there are no two-bedroom suites. The kitchens come with place settings for four, even in suites for six, so ask for extra dishes if you’ll cook for everyone.

Accessible suites include roll-in showers, accessible tubs and hearing-accessible rooms with visual alarms and notification devices. Hilton also offers confirmed connecting rooms, subject to availability, which can suit two families traveling together.

Pool-view versions exist for the king studio and both one-bedroom layouts, with tall windows over the pool deck in the hotel’s photos.

Pool, waterslide and recreation

Hilton’s listing (“Enjoy our pool and epic waterslide!”) marks the outdoor pool as heated and open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, with no lifeguard, so watch younger kids closely around the slide. The photos show a large freeform pool with a covered slide tower, umbrellas and loungers.

Away from the water, Hilton highlights multi-sport courts and outdoor grills, and its gallery shows a soccer field and a fire pit lounge. For a rest day between parks, kitchen, grill and slide together set it apart from a standard limited-service hotel.

Free breakfast and dining

The free breakfast buffet includes eggs, breakfast meats, cereal, pastries and Mickey Mouse waffles. Hilton lists 6 to 9 a.m. Monday to Friday and 7 to 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On weekdays you have time to eat before the 7:30 a.m. shuttle; on weekends breakfast opens only 30 minutes before it, so grab something quick or plan the later run.

The Pool Bar and Grill serves appetizers, sandwiches, pizza and frozen cocktails. Hilton’s listed hours are noon to 10:30 p.m. daily, with a note that hours may vary, and the hotel video describes it as a poolside Mexican cantina. Hilton lists no room service and no kids’ menu.

Hilton’s pages also promise an evening event but disagree on when: the page description says “complimentary evening reception Monday through Thursday,” while the hotel’s own video mentions a “complimentary Wednesday social.” Ask at check-in rather than planning dinner around it. With a full kitchen and Target a short walk away, snacks and simple dinners are easy, which is where a suite hotel saves you money.

Parking, resort fee and policies

  • Parking: self-parking is $20 per day at the time of writing, with covered spaces, in-and-out privileges and on-site EV chargers. There is no valet.
  • Resort fee: Hilton’s pages list no resort, amenity or destination fee. Your total still includes room taxes, which are 12.5% in Orange County, so compare the final price at checkout.
  • Pets: up to two dogs or cats, 75 pounds maximum, with a non-refundable fee of $75 for 1 to 4 nights or $125 for 5 or more nights.
  • Check-in and age: Hilton lists check-in at 4 p.m. and check-out at 11 a.m., and its policy data gives 21 as the minimum age to register.
  • Smoking: the hotel is smoke-free, and Hilton warns of a fee of up to $250 for smoking in a room.
  • Hilton Honors: Hilton says members who book direct get its best-price guarantee, stay benefits and points, so don’t expect them with a Booking.com reservation. Its Park & Stay package, with daily parking included, is also booked through Hilton.

Getting to the Disney parks from Homewood Suites

Hilton advertises “free Disney shuttles” and, as a Gateway Hotel, “scheduled shuttle transportation to and from the magic,” but posts no timetable. The reservation system of Firefighters All Services, a Kissimmee shuttle company that lists Homewood Suites at Flamingo Crossings among its hotels, showed the same runs, at a rate of $0.00, for every sample weekday and weekend date we checked from October to December 2026 (checked October 14):

StopLeaves hotelReturns from park
Animal Kingdom7:30 a.m.5:45 p.m.
Hollywood Studios10:10 a.m.5:15 and 10:15 p.m.
Magic Kingdom / TTC (monorail to EPCOT)7:30 and 10:10 a.m.5:30 and 10:30 p.m.

There are no direct EPCOT, Disney Springs, water park or Universal runs; for EPCOT, ride to the TTC and take the monorail. Seats are reserved and times can change, so confirm the runs and how to book at the desk. Florida Bus Service, whose June 2025 timetable covered this hotel, no longer lists it.

A car gives you far more freedom. Disney charges $35 a day for standard theme park parking, tax included, valid at all four theme parks that day (preferred: $50, $55 or $60), and standard parking at Disney Springs is free. Add the hotel’s $20 a night to compare.

Homewood Suites is not one of the 15 non-Disney hotels on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list (compare our non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry), and you can buy Lightning Lane passes only 3 days ahead, against 7 for Disney Resort hotels and other select hotels.

There’s no shuttle to Universal or Epic Universe, about 16.5 to 17 miles away. Hilton lists no airport shuttle, and Mears Connect’s hotel list doesn’t include Flamingo Crossings, so plan on a rental car, rideshare or private car; the fastest airport route uses the SR 417 toll road.

Amenities: fitness, laundry and family extras

The fitness center has cardio machines and free weights, and Hilton’s hours data and video both describe it as open 24 hours. Room descriptions mention an on-site guest laundry as well as a send-out cleaning service, which matters on a week-long trip with kids and pool towels.

Standard Wi-Fi is free in rooms and the lobby, Hilton lists cribs but no childcare (the Booking.com listing says cribs aren’t available, so confirm with the hotel), and there are meeting rooms, a concierge and Digital Key for Hilton Honors app users. The hotel’s video mentions a dedicated park desk, and Disney tickets are sold through a Disney-run ticket site.

Who Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings suits

It works best for families of four to six who want a separate bedroom, a real kitchen and a pool day in the plan. It’s also a sensible base for youth sports teams at ESPN, for longer stays (Hilton lists it as an extended-stay hotel; our extended-stay hotels in Orlando guide compares other kitchen suites) and for pet owners.

It suits you less if you want to walk to a park, use Disney buses or the Skyliner from your hotel, plan several Universal days or want nightlife outside the door.

Pros

  • Every suite has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, and the two-queen one-bedroom suites sleep six.
  • Free hot breakfast every morning, with Mickey Mouse waffles.
  • Heated pool with a waterslide, plus sport courts, grills and fire pits.
  • No resort fee listed, and parking is $20 a day.
  • Free scheduled Disney shuttle to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and the TTC.
  • Target, coffee shops and casual restaurants within walking distance.
  • Pets allowed, 24-hour gym and guest laundry.

Limitations to know

  • No Early Theme Park Entry, and only the 3-day Lightning Lane window.
  • Shuttle runs are few and fixed: one Animal Kingdom departure, no direct EPCOT, Disney Springs or Universal service.
  • About 7 to 8 miles from EPCOT’s lot, the Magic Kingdom TTC and Disney Springs; Universal is about 17 miles.
  • No two-bedroom suites, and Hilton doesn’t publish suite sizes.
  • No lifeguard at the pool, no room service and no kids’ menu.
  • No airport shuttle, and Mears Connect doesn’t list the hotel.
  • Hilton Honors points and perks apply only to direct Hilton bookings.

What to check before you book

  • The suite type: six people need the two-queen one-bedroom suite; kings and studios are listed for four.
  • The shuttle: ask the hotel for the current timetable and how far ahead you must reserve, especially for an early Animal Kingdom morning.
  • The evening social: Hilton’s pages disagree on the days, so ask whether it’s running during your stay.
  • Your total price: look for any daily charge in the rate details and add $20 a night for parking.
  • Check-in time: Hilton shows 4 p.m. check-in and 11 a.m. check-out, but other data on its page says 3 p.m. and noon, so confirm if you arrive early or want to stay later.
  • Accessibility: request features such as a roll-in shower when you book, then reconfirm with the hotel.

Frequently asked questions

Does Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings have a free Disney shuttle?

Yes. Hilton advertises free Disney shuttles on a set schedule. When we checked the operator’s booking system in October 2026, it showed free runs to Animal Kingdom at 7:30 a.m., Hollywood Studios at 10:10 a.m. and the Magic Kingdom TTC at 7:30 and 10:10 a.m., with EPCOT reached by monorail from the TTC. Seats are booked through that system, so confirm times and how to reserve at the desk.

Does Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings charge a resort fee?

Hilton’s pages listed no resort, amenity or destination fee at the time of writing. You do pay $20 a day for self-parking, and Orange County’s 12.5% room taxes apply. Pet fees are extra if you bring a dog or cat. Always check the final total on the checkout page before you confirm, because charges can change.

How far is Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings from the Disney parks?

By road it’s about 5 miles to Animal Kingdom’s guest parking, roughly 11 minutes without traffic. EPCOT’s main lot is about 7 miles, the Magic Kingdom TTC lot and Hollywood Studios about 7.5 miles each, and Disney Springs about 8 miles. Hilton gives a general 8 miles to Walt Disney World and 7 miles to ESPN Wide World of Sports.

How many people can stay in a suite at Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings?

The two-queen one-bedroom suites sleep six, using two queen beds in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. King studios and king one-bedroom suites sleep four. There are no two-bedroom suites, so larger groups need two suites; Hilton offers confirmed connecting rooms, subject to availability.

Is breakfast free at Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings?

Yes. The free hot buffet runs 6 to 9 a.m. on weekdays and 7 to 10 a.m. on weekends, with eggs, breakfast meats, cereal, pastries and Mickey Mouse waffles. Hilton also mentions a complimentary evening social, but its pages disagree on the days (Monday to Thursday in one place, Wednesday in another), so ask at check-in.

Is Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings pet friendly?

Yes. Hilton allows up to two pets, dogs or cats only, up to 75 pounds. The non-refundable fee is $75 for stays of 1 to 4 nights and $125 for 5 nights or more, charged per stay rather than per night. Tell the hotel you’re bringing a pet when you book.

Bottom line

Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings is a strong value pick on Disney’s west side for families who will use what it includes: a full kitchen, a suite that sleeps six, free hot breakfast, a heated slide pool, $20 parking and a free, if limited, Disney shuttle. Pick a Disney Springs area hotel instead if Early Theme Park Entry or evening flexibility matters more. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
