Flamingo Crossings hotels are the six Marriott and Hilton properties at Flamingo Crossings Town Center, a Disney-planned district less than a mile from the western entrance of Walt Disney World. All six serve a free hot breakfast, all six are Walt Disney World Gateway Hotels, and their official pages describe Disney park shuttles (five of them say the shuttle is free).
Compared with a Disney-owned resort, you give up on-site perks such as Early Theme Park Entry. What you get is a suite with a kitchen or kitchenette at most of the six, an included breakfast for the whole family, resort-style pools, and a Target and a row of fast-casual restaurants a short distance from your room.
Below, every Town Center hotel is compared on room types, breakfast, parking, pets and Disney shuttles, using official pages. Fees change, so confirm before you book.
Quick answer: For most families, Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center is the best all-rounder: full kitchens, two-bedroom suites that sleep six, a free breakfast buffet and a free Disney shuttle. Pick Homewood Suites or Home2 Suites if a pool with a waterslide matters most, SpringHill Suites for an on-site restaurant, $17 parking and what Marriott calls the closest Gateway hotel to Disney, and Fairfield if you just need a simple room or a suite for six without a kitchen.

Where Flamingo Crossings is and what’s around it
Flamingo Crossings Town Center sits just outside Walt Disney World’s western entrance off State Road 429. Marriott says the district was master-planned by Walt Disney Imagineering, and the hotels use Winter Garden mailing addresses (ZIP 34787) on Flagler Avenue and Hartzog Road, even though you are next to Disney property rather than in the town of Winter Garden itself.
From this side of Disney, Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom are the closest parks, about 4.5 to 5 miles by road on public roads, while EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom parking area are roughly 6 to 8 miles away. Hilton’s location pages put ESPN Wide World of Sports about 7 miles and the Walt Disney World theme parks about 8 miles away. Universal Studios Florida is listed at 17 miles and Orlando International Airport (MCO) at about 25 miles.
Hilton’s pages also list Disney College Program student housing about a mile away. Expect a quiet, newly built area rather than a tourist strip: there are no attractions within walking distance, but the Town Center covers everyday needs. If you’re still weighing areas, our guide to the best areas to stay in Orlando helps you compare it with Orlando’s other main hotel areas.

Pets are welcome too. Hilton says the hotel is within 10 minutes of Walt Disney World.

Getting to the Disney parks from Flamingo Crossings
All six hotels sit on the opposite side of Disney property from Disney Springs, so your shortest trips are to Blizzard Beach and Animal Kingdom, about 4.5 to 5 miles by road. EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom parking area are roughly 6 to 8 miles away.
- Hotel shuttles: the four Marriott hotels describe free Disney shuttles with limited seats, booked starting 24 hours ahead (SpringHill and TownePlace) or 48 hours ahead (Residence Inn and Fairfield, which say “select” theme parks). Florida Bus Service, whose June 2025 timetable covered Home2 and Homewood, no longer lists them. At our October 2026 check, the booking system of Firefighters All Services showed free runs from both hotels to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom’s Transportation and Ticket Center (EPCOT by monorail from there), so ask the desk how to reserve and when the last return leaves.
- Driving: with a car you can head to any park on your own schedule. Disney lists standard theme park parking at $35 per day and preferred parking at $50 to $60 per day; standard parking at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach and at Disney Springs is free. Add the $17 to $20 your hotel charges each night.
- Rideshare: handy for Disney Springs evenings or a park the shuttle skips.
Flamingo Crossings hotels are not on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list, which is limited to Disney resorts and a short list of partner hotels; see our non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry if that perk matters to you. For other off-site hotels with park transport, compare our list of Orlando hotels with free Disney World shuttles.
None of the six runs an airport shuttle. Marriott’s pages list MCO at roughly 27 miles and a scheduled Mears shuttle at about $27 one way at last check; our guide to getting from Orlando airport to Disney World compares that with rideshare and car rental.
Food and shopping at Flamingo Crossings Town Center
One of the best things about staying here is how easy everyday errands are. The official Flamingo Crossings Town Center directory lists Target, Starbucks, Dunkin’, Domino’s, Firehouse Subs, Five Guys, Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ, Hash House A Go Go, Pieology Pizzeria, Pita Mediterranean, Skyline Chili and Wendy’s, plus a 7-Eleven, Five Below, The UPS Store and an AdventHealth ER. Tenants change, so check the current directory.
Paired with free breakfast and a suite kitchen, a Target run for groceries and snacks can cut your food budget. If cooking is a priority, our guide to Orlando hotels with kitchens has more suite hotels near the parks.
How to choose a Flamingo Crossings hotel
- Count your party first. Six people fit in Residence Inn’s largest two-bedroom suite, Fairfield’s two-queen sofa-bed suite, Homewood’s two-queen suite, or Home2’s two-queen studio and two-bedroom suite. TownePlace’s largest suites were listed for five at last check, and Residence Inn and Fairfield say rollaway beds are not permitted.
- Decide whether you’ll cook. Residence Inn, TownePlace and Homewood list full kitchens and Home2 lists an in-room kitchen; SpringHill and Fairfield only offer a mini-fridge and microwave.
- Check the shuttle rules. If you won’t rent a car, favor the hotels that publish free shuttles and booking windows (the Marriott four and Homewood), and set an alarm for when reservations open.
- Weigh parking if you drive. $17 at SpringHill and TownePlace versus $20 at the other four adds up over a week, on top of Disney’s own parking fee.
- Traveling with a pet? Residence Inn, TownePlace, Home2 and Homewood accept pets for a fee; SpringHill and Fairfield do not.
If none of these fits, our hub of the best hotels near Disney World covers other areas, and our list of cheap hotels near Disney World has more budget picks with shuttles. If a view of the nightly show matters, see our guide to hotels with views of Disney fireworks.

Frequently asked questions
Do Flamingo Crossings hotels have free shuttles to Disney World?
Yes, at most of them. Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, TownePlace Suites and Fairfield all describe free Disney shuttles that you reserve starting 24 or 48 hours ahead, and Homewood Suites advertises free Disney shuttles. Home2 Suites lists Disney shuttles without stating the cost. Seats are limited and run on set times, so confirm the schedule and parks served.
How far is Flamingo Crossings from the Disney parks?
The Marriott hotels say they are less than a mile from Walt Disney World’s western entrance. Hilton’s location pages put the theme parks about 8 miles away and ESPN Wide World of Sports about 7 miles. By road, Animal Kingdom is the closest theme park at about 5 miles to its guest parking, while EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom parking area are roughly 6 to 8 miles away.
Is Flamingo Crossings a good place to stay for Disney World?
It is a good choice if you want suites, included breakfast and a Disney shuttle at a newer hotel, and don’t need Disney resort perks. Restaurants and a Target are nearby, but there is no nightlife or attraction within walking distance, and it is farther from Disney Springs and Universal than Lake Buena Vista or International Drive.
Do Flamingo Crossings hotels charge resort fees?
None of the six hotels listed a resort or destination fee on its official page at the time of writing. You do pay for parking: $17 per day plus tax at SpringHill Suites and TownePlace Suites, and $20 per day at Residence Inn, Fairfield, Home2 Suites and Homewood Suites. Always check the total at checkout, including taxes, before you confirm.
Do Flamingo Crossings hotels get Early Theme Park Entry?
No. Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry, which gives 30 minutes of extra time in the parks, is limited to Disney-owned resorts and a short list of partner hotels, mostly in the Disney Springs, EPCOT and Bonnet Creek areas. Being a Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel means a park shuttle and the option to buy tickets through the hotel, not Disney resort perks.
Bottom line
Flamingo Crossings hotels are some of the newest, most family-friendly off-site options at Disney: every one includes breakfast, all six are Disney Gateway Hotels with park shuttles, and the Town Center handles groceries and quick meals. Choose Residence Inn, TownePlace or Home2 for two-bedroom suites with kitchens, Homewood or Home2 for a waterslide pool, SpringHill for a restaurant and lower parking, and Fairfield for simple rooms with breakfast. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
