Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive is a Marriott-brand hotel in the round tower at 5905 International Drive, about 1.2 to 1.7 road miles from Universal Orlando’s parking garages. It runs a free scheduled shuttle to Universal, charges $20 a day for self-parking, and showed no resort fee in Booking.com’s price breakdowns.

Breakfast costs extra, no room sleeps more than four people, the shuttle runs on fixed times, and Marriott lists no Disney shuttle. The hotel is a Universal Partner Hotel, not a Universal hotel, so a room-only booking does not include Early Park Admission or Universal Express.

We checked Marriott’s live pages, a June 2026 copy of its overview page, Booking.com’s listing and Universal’s partner list in October 2026. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.

Quick answer: Book the Four Points I-Drive if Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure are the focus of your trip and you want a free shuttle with published times, a high-floor room and a heated pool with a splash pad. Skip it if you need beds for five in one room, free breakfast, Early Park Admission or a Disney shuttle.

Location and distances to Universal, Epic Universe and Disney

The hotel stands in the busy northern part of International Drive. Booking.com’s web address for the hotel still uses an older name, “Studio City.” Do not confuse it with the Four Points by Sheraton Orlando Convention Center, a separate hotel farther south.

Universal’s main garages (6000 Universal Boulevard) serve Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure and CityWalk. By our route they are about 1.2 miles away. The return route is different and about 1.7 miles. Marriott’s overview page (June 2026 copy) says “less than a mile” and Booking.com says 1 mile, which is closer to the straight-line distance.

Epic Universe has its own parking lot at 1001 Epic Boulevard, about 3.2 miles away via Kirkman Road. Booking.com’s description puts Epic Universe at 1 mile. On foot, CityWalk is about 1.3 miles (about 30 minutes) along busy roads.

Distances are our OSRM routes on public roads to each parking entrance, rounded, with no traffic. Marriott lists the airport at 12 miles. Booking.com puts Walt Disney World at 12 miles, but the theme park lots are farther.

Fun Spot America’s go-karts and coasters are about 0.7 mile on foot, and Orlando International Premium Outlets about 1.4 miles on foot. Universal’s Volcano Bay water park is temporarily closed for maintenance, with a planned reopening on or before April 1, 2027. Rooms: sizes, beds and who they sleep

Marriott’s room data lists eight room types. All have one bathroom, a desk, a safe, a coffee and tea maker, free bottled water and a TV with Netflix.

Room typeSizeBedsSleeps
Two queen, low or high floor460 sq ft2 queen beds4
King, high floor460 sq ft1 king bed2
Top-floor king with wet bar550 sq ft1 king bed and a sofa bed3
Top-floor two queen with wet bar550 sq ft2 queen beds4
Family Studio, top floor1,100 sq ft1 king bed and a sofa bed3
Accessible queen (roll-in shower or tub)460 sq ft1 queen bed2

Every room has a mini fridge. Marriott lists a microwave only in the high-floor two-queen rooms, the 550 sq ft top-floor rooms and the Family Studio. Several room names include “Attraction View” and “High Floor,” but Marriott does not say which attractions you will see.

Rollaway beds are not permitted. Marriott’s room data allows one crib per room. Booking.com’s house rules say both “Crib upon request” (free for ages 0 to 2) and “Cribs and extra beds aren’t available,” so confirm a crib with the hotel. Marriott says connecting rooms are available for some rooms, which is the practical option for a family of five or more.

Top-floor rooms and the Family Studio

The top floor has the “Larger” 550 sq ft rooms with a wet bar, and Marriott promotes floor-to-ceiling windows in its Top Floor Studios.

The Family Studio is the biggest room at 1,100 sq ft, with a dining area, a table that seats six and floor-to-ceiling windows. It still sleeps only three people per Marriott. Its name includes “Wet Bar” and “Kitchenette,” but Marriott’s room details list only a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. No stove or cooktop is listed, so do not plan to cook full meals.

Pool, splash pad and recreation

The hotel has one outdoor heated pool and a children’s splash pad. Marriott lists both as open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., with towels provided. Booking.com lists the pool as open all year, fenced and with a pool bar. Universal’s partner listing mentions a full-service pool bar and scheduled pool activities.

Marriott lists no water slide, lazy river or hot tub. Universal’s listing also mentions a game room, and the hotel’s own photos show arcade machines and an air hockey table.

Dining and breakfast

Marriott lists two restaurants on site. Sunrise Cafe serves a breakfast buffet every day from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., with eggs cooked to order, omelets, bacon, waffles, pastries, cereal and fruit on the current menu. It costs $19 for adults and $14 for children, plus tax and gratuity.

Marriott’s dining FAQ says breakfast is available at Sunrise Cafe “for a fee.” On Booking.com, some rates include breakfast, but the fine print says only for 2 people. Other rates showed breakfast as a US$19 add-on.

Super Slice Bros is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. It serves pizza, sandwiches, salads, drinks and Dippin’ Dots by the pool, at the bar or to go. Marriott says there is no room service. Marriott’s overview page (June 2026 copy) also lists free coffee and tea in the lobby and a convenience store. Booking.com’s description still names older outlets, so go by Marriott’s dining page.

Parking, fees and taxes

Self-parking costs $20 a day on Marriott’s overview page (June 2026 copy) and on Booking.com’s facilities list (October 2026), with no reservation needed. The same Marriott page lists $40 a day for a bus or trailer and electric vehicle charging (subject to availability). Five nights with a car add $100 in parking.

We found no resort fee or destination fee. Booking.com’s price breakdowns for sample stays in November 2026 and February 2027 showed only a “12.50 % TAX” line, and Marriott’s pages list no destination fee. Booking.com’s house rules add a US$50 refundable damage deposit on a credit card at arrival. Cash is not accepted.

The shuttle also saves Universal’s parking charge of $35 a day including tax.

Getting to Universal, Epic Universe and Disney

Marriott’s live experiences page (checked October 26, 2026) lists a “Complimentary Theme Park Shuttle.” You reserve seats at the theme park desk in the lobby.

DirectionTimesNote
Hotel to Universal7:55 a.m., 9:10 a.m., 10:25 a.m., 11:40 a.m.Reserve at the lobby desk
Universal to hotel5:20 p.m., 6:40 p.m., 8:00 p.m.Last return at 8:00 p.m.

Marriott’s pages describe the service as going “to Universal Studios” and to Universal Orlando Resort. None names Epic Universe or the drop-off point, so ask at the desk. After the 8:00 p.m. return, you need a taxi, a rideshare or your own car. Our list of hotels near Universal with a free shuttle compares other schedules.

The official I-RIDE map lists the hotel at Red Line stop 5. The Red Line runs along International Drive to ICON Park and SeaWorld about every 20 minutes, 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. A ride costs $2 in exact change ($1 for children 3 to 9), and passes start at $8 a day. See our I-RIDE Trolley guide for stops, and our guide to hotels near ICON Park for stays at that end of the line.

For Disney, Marriott’s pages list no shuttle, so plan to drive or take a rideshare about 13 to 16 miles via I-4. The hotel is not on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list. Marriott’s overview page (June 2026 copy) also says the hotel does not provide an airport shuttle.

Amenities: fitness, Wi-Fi, laundry and partner perks

  • Fitness: a 24-hour fitness center with treadmills, elliptical machines, exercise bikes and free weights.
  • Wi-Fi: Booking.com lists free Wi-Fi in all areas. Marriott’s overview FAQ (June 2026 copy) says Marriott Bonvoy members get free in-room internet when they book direct, so confirm at check-in.
  • Services: Marriott’s overview page (June 2026 copy) lists on-site laundry, a business center, meeting space and housekeeping every other day. Booking.com lists a Universal Orlando Resort Partner desk with ticket service.
  • Universal perks: Universal’s vacation site lists the hotel as a Universal Partner Hotel with Bonus Benefits: merchandise discounts at select theme park locations, food and non-alcoholic drink discounts at select CityWalk and theme park locations, and scheduled transportation to the theme parks. Inclusions can change without notice.
  • Policies: check-in 4 p.m., check-out 11 a.m., minimum age 18, smoke-free, no pets (service animals welcome).

Marriott lists no spa or kids club. Marriott Bonvoy points and member rates apply to bookings made directly with Marriott. They are not included with a Booking.com reservation.

Who the Four Points I-Drive suits

It suits couples and families of up to four who will spend most days at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. It also suits drivers who want $20 parking and a short drive to Epic Universe, and travelers who like a high floor.

It is a weaker fit for families of five or more, because no room sleeps more than four, and for Disney-focused trips, because Marriott lists no Disney shuttle.

Pros

  • A free Universal shuttle with published times: four morning departures and three evening returns.
  • No resort fee in Booking.com’s price breakdowns and $20 parking. The free shuttle also saves Universal’s $35 daily garage charge.
  • Standard rooms of 460 sq ft, with high-floor and top-floor options.
  • A heated pool, a children’s splash pad and a game room.
  • An I-RIDE Trolley stop at the hotel.

Limitations to know

  • Breakfast is not included on most rates: $19 for adults and $14 for children.
  • No room sleeps more than four, the Family Studio sleeps three, and rollaway beds are not permitted.
  • The shuttle runs on fixed times, the last return is at 8:00 p.m., and no official page says it serves Epic Universe.
  • Marriott lists no Disney shuttle and no airport shuttle.
  • A room-only booking does not include Early Park Admission or Universal Express, because this is not a Universal hotel.
  • Marriott promotes “easy access to all 4 Universal parks,” but Volcano Bay is closed for maintenance, with a planned reopening on or before April 1, 2027.

What to check before you book

  • Shuttle: reserve seats at the theme park desk, and ask which runs go to Epic Universe.
  • Breakfast: check whether your rate includes it. Breakfast-included rates on Booking.com cover 2 people only.
  • Room type: enter children’s ages so Booking.com shows rooms that fit.
  • Cribs and connecting rooms: request them with the hotel in advance.
  • Costs at check-in: $20 a day for parking and a US$50 refundable deposit. The minimum check-in age is 18.

The official pages do not say whether the shuttle serves Epic Universe, so ask at the desk. Times can change.

How far is Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive from Universal Studios?

By our routes, it is about 1.2 miles by road to Universal’s parking garages, and about 1.7 miles on the way back. Marriott’s overview page says “less than a mile,” which is closer to the straight-line distance. The drive takes about five minutes without traffic. Epic Universe’s parking lot is about 3.2 miles away.

Can you walk from Four Points International Drive to Universal Orlando?

You can, but it is not a short walk. Our walking route to CityWalk is about 1.3 miles, or about 30 minutes, along busy roads. The free shuttle, a rideshare or your own car is easier, especially late at night.

Does Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive charge a resort fee or for parking?

We found no resort fee. Booking.com’s price breakdowns for sample stays in November 2026 and February 2027 showed only a 12.5% tax. Self-parking costs $20 a day per Marriott and Booking.com. Booking.com also lists a US$50 refundable damage deposit on a credit card at arrival. Confirm current charges before you book.

Not on most rates. Marriott says the hotel does not offer free breakfast. The Sunrise Cafe buffet runs from 6:30 to 10 a.m. and costs $19 for adults and $14 for children, plus tax and gratuity. Some Booking.com rates include breakfast, but only for 2 people.

Does Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive have a Disney shuttle?

No. Marriott’s pages list only the Universal shuttle, and the hotel does not provide an airport shuttle. Disney’s theme park parking lots are about 13 to 16 miles away via I-4, so plan to drive or take a rideshare. The hotel is not on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list.

Bottom line

The Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive is a sensible Universal base for up to four people. It has a free shuttle with published times, $20 parking, no resort fee in our price checks, and 460 sq ft rooms with high-floor options. Budget for breakfast, check how the shuttle handles Epic Universe, and look elsewhere for a large family or a Disney trip.
