The best hotels near SeaWorld Orlando are SeaWorld’s 12 Official Hotels, all within about 1.5 miles of the park. They sit in two clusters: Sea Harbor Drive on the west side, closest to SeaWorld’s gate, and International Drive on the east side, closest to Aquatica and Discovery Cove. Every one includes SeaWorld’s shuttle to all three parks and Priority Entry.
SeaWorld has no hotel inside the park. Instead, Official Hotels get the shuttle, a free Rescue Tour and discounts, while Hotel Partners such as DoubleTree and Hilton Orlando get Priority Entry and discounts only. We checked every status on SeaWorld’s Official Hotels page on October 13, 2026, and measured the walks ourselves.
Quick answer: The closest hotels to SeaWorld’s gate are the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld and Hilton Garden Inn, each about an 8- to 14-minute walk from the gate. For SeaWorld plus Aquatica, TownePlace Suites, Holiday Inn Express and SpringHill Suites are about 0.6 to 0.7 mile from Aquatica on foot. For breakfast and a kitchen, book Staybridge Suites, Residence Inn or TownePlace Suites. For resort pools, look at the Renaissance, Hilton Grand Vacations, DoubleTree Theme Park Resort or Hilton Orlando.

How we chose
We started from SeaWorld’s live list of 12 Official Hotels and 8 Hotel Partners. We cover all 12 Official Hotels plus DoubleTree and Hilton Orlando, the two closest Hotel Partner resorts; the rest are summarized below. We measured OpenStreetMap walking routes from each hotel to SeaWorld’s “Park Entrance” crosswalk, Aquatica and the Discovery Cove lot, none cutting through the park. Parking, breakfast and fees come from each brand’s own pages (dated below). We don’t claim stays or assign scores.

1. Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld

This big Marriott resort at 6677 Sea Harbor Drive is the closest full-service hotel to SeaWorld’s gate. SeaWorld describes it as “across the street.” Depending on the door, our routes to the Park Entrance crosswalk measured about 0.35 to 0.65 miles (8 to 14 minutes). You get a vast atrium lobby, oversized rooms with double vanities, several restaurants and the R Aqua Zone, a water play area with slides and a toddler zone.
- Why stay: the shortest walk to SeaWorld, water slides for kids, and shuttle seats to Disney and Universal covered by the resort fee.
- Getting there / to the parks: walk, or use the Official Hotel shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove. The hotel’s guest-services site says four seats a day on its shuttles to the Disney and Universal parks and Vineland Premium Outlets come with the resort fee; extra seats are $12 plus tax.
- Good to know: Marriott listed self-parking at $44 a day and valet at $56 (June 2026 capture). There is a resort fee: Booking.com’s price breakdown showed US$48 a night plus tax for a sample November 2026 stay (checked October 15, 2026). Breakfast is not included. Pets (two dogs or cats, up to 40 lb) carry a $150 fee, which Marriott’s page lists both per stay and per night, so confirm.
Best for: families and couples who want a full-service resort and the easiest walk to the gate. See our Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld review and Orlando hotels with water parks and waterslides.

There are three pools, two children’s wading pools, a splash pad, a movie theater and supervised recreation programs.

- Getting there / to the parks: about 0.7 miles (15 minutes) on foot to SeaWorld’s entrance and 0.9 miles to Discovery Cove, or take the Official Hotel shuttle.

Best for: bigger families and groups who want bedrooms, a kitchen and a washer/dryer next to SeaWorld.

Element’s sister hotel at 5730 Central Florida Parkway (formerly Aloft Orlando International Drive) is the style pick. Its loft-style rooms have walk-in showers. Downstairs are the WXYZ Bar, the Re:Mix lounge and a 24/7 grab-and-go pantry, and outside an outdoor pool with a splash pad.

It is pet friendly ($50 fee, up to 70 lb). As a Hotel Partner, its guests get Priority Entry and the discounts, but not the free SeaWorld shuttle or the Rescue Tour.

The 12 Official Hotels are the 12 numbered above, from the Renaissance to the Aloft. SeaWorld’s chart lists 8 Hotel Partners: DoubleTree, Hilton Orlando, Hyatt Regency Orlando, the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton at Grande Lakes, TRYP by Wyndham Orlando and two La Quinta hotels on I-Drive. Its FAQ lists only one La Quinta. How to claim the perks, the shuttle timetables and whether Booking.com stays qualify are covered in our guide to SeaWorld Orlando official hotels.
- Benefits card: get it at your hotel’s guest service desk and show it (or package tickets) at the gate, restaurants and shops. The dining discount excludes advance purchases. For Discovery Cove, SeaWorld’s chart says 10% off dining but its FAQ says 10% off the Upgraded Drink Package.
- Shuttle: reserve a voucher at an Official Hotel’s guest service desk at least 30 minutes before departure, for the same or next day, subject to availability. Schedules vary by date and hotel.
- Priority Entry: keep to the far left at the entrance for the VIP line. It is faster entry, not early admission.
- Booked on Booking.com? SeaWorld doesn’t say whether perks depend on how you book, so ask the hotel before you book or at check-in.
Hotels near both SeaWorld and Aquatica
Aquatica sits beside International Drive, just east of SeaWorld, so the best hotel for both parks depends on which one you will visit more. For Aquatica, stay on the I-Drive side: TownePlace Suites (about 0.6 miles), Holiday Inn Express (0.65), SpringHill Suites (0.7), DoubleTree (0.7 to 0.9) and Fairfield (0.8) are all about a 13- to 19-minute walk. All except DoubleTree also run the Official Hotel shuttle to SeaWorld and Discovery Cove.
If SeaWorld is the main event, stay on the Sea Harbor side and ride the shuttle to Aquatica. By car from that side, Aquatica is about 2.2 to 2.6 miles (7 to 8 minutes). SeaWorld’s Aquatica Free hotel package bundles length-of-stay tickets (up to 7 days) to both parks with a parking pass for both. Our Orlando water parks guide covers Aquatica’s slides, seasons and tickets.
Sea Harbor Drive or International Drive: which side of SeaWorld to stay on
- West side (Sea Harbor Drive and Westwood Boulevard): Renaissance, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations, Staybridge, Hampton and Residence Inn. Closest to SeaWorld’s gate (about 0.35 to 1 mile on foot), with the quickest drive to Disney.
- East side (International Drive and Central Florida Parkway): TownePlace, Holiday Inn Express, SpringHill, Fairfield, Element and Aloft. Aquatica, Discovery Cove and I-Drive restaurants are closer, but SeaWorld’s gate is 1.1 to 1.5 miles away.
- North: DoubleTree and Hilton Orlando, closest to the convention center and Epic Universe.
Walking reality: routes cross busy roads and SeaWorld’s huge parking lot, and Florida heat makes 20 minutes feel longer.
Resorts near SeaWorld: lazy rivers, slides and villas
Beyond the Renaissance (slides), Hilton Grand Vacations (33 acres, three pools), DoubleTree (28 acres) and Hilton Orlando (lazy river), these resorts are a short drive from SeaWorld:
- Hyatt Regency Orlando: a Hotel Partner about 2.5 to 3 miles away by car. SeaWorld’s listing describes a 10,000-sq-ft heated zero-entry Grotto Pool with a 100-foot water slide and a children’s splash pool. See our Hyatt Regency Orlando review.
- JW Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton, Grande Lakes: Hotel Partners about 3.5 to 4 miles east by car. SeaWorld lists a water park with a lazy river and three waterslides, a spa and complimentary private transportation to SeaWorld and Discovery Cove (up to four people per room). Fees are in our JW Marriott Grande Lakes review and Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes review.
- Marriott’s Grande Vista: villas of up to three bedrooms (sleeping up to 12) about 1.9 miles by car from SeaWorld’s parking, with no SeaWorld perks or shuttle. See our Marriott’s Grande Vista review.
Check rates: Hyatt Regency Orlando, JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes and Marriott’s Grande Vista.
Budget Hotel Partners on I-Drive
For simpler stays with Priority Entry, SeaWorld’s partner list includes TRYP by Wyndham Orlando, which SeaWorld describes as less than two miles from the parks (we didn’t measure it), with free parking and a paid breakfast buffet. It also includes two La Quinta hotels with free breakfast and parking. None of them has the free SeaWorld shuttle; the I-Ride Trolley runs along I-Drive to SeaWorld. See prices at TRYP by Wyndham Orlando.

These are OpenStreetMap road routes without traffic. The Official Hotel shuttle covers only SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove; for Disney and Universal you’ll drive unless your hotel runs its own shuttle (Renaissance, DoubleTree and Hilton Orlando) or is served by Florida Bus Service: in October 2026 its booking system showed $0.00 runs to Universal, Magic Kingdom and EPCOT from Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations, TownePlace, Holiday Inn Express, SpringHill and Fairfield, and to Universal only from Hampton. At last check, Disney standard parking was $35 a day and Universal’s $35 including tax. If Epic is your focus, see hotels near Epic Universe; for a conference, see hotels near the Orange County Convention Center.
How to choose a hotel near SeaWorld
- Official Hotel or not: the free shuttle lets you skip SeaWorld’s parking, sold online from $37 plus tax (its FAQ says from $35). That adds up on multi-day visits.
- Breakfast and a kitchen: Staybridge, Residence Inn, TownePlace and Element give you both; Hampton, Holiday Inn Express, SpringHill and Fairfield include breakfast.
- Total cost: add resort charges, parking and Orange County’s 12.5% hotel tax before you compare. Our Orlando hotels with no resort fees explains the extras.
- Big groups: Hilton Grand Vacations and Grande Vista have multi-bedroom villas. Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa, about 3 miles north, has up to four-bedroom villas and a free Universal shuttle, but no SeaWorld perks (see Westgate Lakes rates).
- Discovery Cove day: it’s an all-inclusive day resort, not a hotel. Fairfield, Element and SpringHill are closest on foot, and SeaWorld’s Discovery Cove hotel package adds up to 14 days of SeaWorld and Aquatica with parking. See our Discovery Cove guide.
- Packages: SeaWorld hotel packages must be booked at least 48 hours before check-in, are refundable if cancelled more than 72 hours before 6 p.m. on arrival day (30 days for Discovery Cove) and are non-transferable. Compare with booking separately.
- Splitting the trip: compare our hotels near Universal Studios Orlando, read the SeaWorld Orlando guide for tickets, or see the best areas to stay in Orlando.
Official Hotel reviews: SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld and Residence Inn Orlando at SeaWorld.
Frequently asked questions
Which hotel is closest to SeaWorld Orlando?
The Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld and the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando at SeaWorld are closest. SeaWorld describes both as across the street, and our walking routes to the Park Entrance crosswalk measured about 0.35 to 0.65 miles from the Renaissance and 0.6 miles from the Hilton Garden Inn. Staybridge Suites, Hilton Grand Vacations and Hampton follow at about 0.6 to 0.75 miles.
Can you walk to SeaWorld from nearby hotels?
Yes. From the Sea Harbor Drive hotels the walk takes roughly 8 to 16 minutes (Residence Inn about 21), and from DoubleTree about 17 to 22. From the I-Drive hotels it is about 23 to 32 minutes to SeaWorld’s gate, although Aquatica is much closer. Routes cross busy roads and parking lots, so at Official Hotels the free shuttle is the easier choice in summer heat.
Which hotels near SeaWorld have a free shuttle?
All 12 Official Hotels: Renaissance, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations, Staybridge, Hampton, Residence Inn, TownePlace, Holiday Inn Express, SpringHill, Fairfield, Element and Aloft. The shuttle goes to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove and needs a voucher from the guest service desk at least 30 minutes before departure. Hotel Partners such as DoubleTree and Hilton Orlando don’t get it.
What is the best hotel near both SeaWorld and Aquatica?
TownePlace Suites Orlando at SeaWorld is about a 0.6-mile walk from Aquatica, with free breakfast, full kitchens and the Official Hotel shuttle to SeaWorld. Holiday Inn Express and SpringHill Suites, a few doors away, are close behind. DoubleTree is about 0.7 to 1 mile from both parks, but as a Hotel Partner it has no free SeaWorld shuttle.
Do SeaWorld hotels get early entry to the park?
No early park admission is advertised. The perk is Priority Entry, a separate VIP entrance line available daily to guests of both Official Hotels and Hotel Partners; show your benefits card or package tickets and keep to the far left. None of these hotels is on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list either.
Does a hotel near SeaWorld include SeaWorld parking?
Not if you book the room alone. SeaWorld hotel packages include a length-of-stay parking pass, and the Official Hotel shuttle lets you skip parking altogether. Otherwise, expect at least $35 a day for SeaWorld’s general parking (online prices showed $37 plus tax), on top of your hotel’s own parking charge.
Bottom line
For the easiest walk to SeaWorld, book the Renaissance (resort pools) or Hilton Garden Inn (simpler, cheaper parking). For breakfast and a kitchen, pick Staybridge, Residence Inn or TownePlace; for Aquatica, TownePlace or Holiday Inn Express. If resort grounds matter more than the free SeaWorld shuttle, choose DoubleTree, or Hilton Orlando for a lazy river. Check rates at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld or TownePlace Suites Orlando at SeaWorld.
