There are no true adults-only resorts in Orlando at the time of writing: every hotel and resort we checked, from the luxury resorts inside Walt Disney World to the boutique hotels downtown, accepts children. What Orlando does have is a growing set of grown-up spaces inside family resorts, plus a handful of hotels that require the person checking in to be 21.
This guide gives you the honest answer first, then ten adult-friendly stays whose rules we confirmed on official pages: 21+ and 18+ pools, 21+ check-in hotels, adults-only spa pools and quiet luxury. We also name the nearest real adults-only resorts in Florida.
Age rules, fees and parking come from the hotels’ own pages at the time of writing and change often, so confirm them before you book. A minimum check-in age never means a child-free property.
Quick answer: The closest thing to an adults-only resort in Orlando is Four Seasons Resort Orlando, with a 21+ Oasis pool and an adults-only speakeasy inside Walt Disney World. For a spa-centered escape, choose The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes (18+ spa pool). Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate and Hilton Orlando have 18+ pools at lower rates, and The Alfond Inn, Hotel Beauden and Lake Nona Wave Hotel are 21+ check-in boutique hotels away from the parks.

Is there a real adults-only resort in Orlando?
No, not that we could verify. We read the official pages of the resorts most often suggested for couples, from the Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, Conrad and Omni to the boutique hotels in Winter Park, downtown and Lake Nona and small inns such as Thurston House in Maitland. None calls itself adults-only. The Waldorf Astoria sets a 21 booking age, but its resort charge includes a free kids’-menu dinner for children 12 and under.
So instead of one adults-only resort, look for two things:
- Adults-only pools. Four Seasons (21+), Omni ChampionsGate (18+) and Hilton Orlando (18+) each have a pool children can’t enter, and Marriott lists an adult-only pool at JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek. The Ritz-Carlton and The Alfond Inn have 18+ spa pools you reach with a treatment (or a day pass at the Ritz-Carlton). Our guide to Orlando hotels with adults-only pools covers the pool rules in detail.
- 21+ check-in hotels. The Alfond Inn, Lake Nona Wave Hotel and, at last check, Hotel Beauden and Conrad Orlando require the person registering to be 21. Children can still stay, but these hotels draw far fewer families than the park-adjacent resorts.
If romance matters more than the age rule, our list of romantic hotels in Orlando for couples ranks these hotels by views, dinners and spas; this page is about how much of each resort is actually yours as an adult.
How we chose these adult-friendly resorts
Every hotel here has at least one adult-specific rule or space we could confirm on its own website or its brand’s official page: an age-restricted pool, a 21+ check-in or booking age, or an adults-only lounge. We then weighed location and park transport, the mandatory fees and parking that change the real price, and how family-heavy the rest of the property is. We have not stayed at these hotels and don’t use ratings, review scores or guest quotes. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.

1. Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

If you want the most adult space on Disney property, this is it. Oasis is the resort’s adult-only pool for guests 21 and older; the spa page says any treatment of 50 minutes or longer includes Oasis access, and the Oasis cabanas carry the same 21+ rule. After dark there’s Epilogue, an adults-only speakeasy with a library theme; seatings start at 6 p.m. on select Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at the time of writing.
The rest of the resort is family territory, with the Explorer Island water park and a free kids’ camp, so the calm lives in the adult zones. The payoff is Disney access: Early Theme Park Entry and free scheduled coaches to the four theme parks. Our full Four Seasons Resort Orlando guide covers rooms, dining and the Disney perks.
- Why stay: A true 21+ pool, an adults-only bar and Disney perks in one resort.
- Getting there / to the parks: 10100 Dream Tree Blvd, inside Disney’s Golden Oak community; the resort puts the airport about 21 miles away. Coaches run to Magic Kingdom (via the Transportation and Ticket Center), EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
- Good to know: The resort’s January 2026 map lists a $55 nightly resort fee plus tax, but Booking.com’s price breakdown showed US$60 plus tax in October 2026. Parking is valet only, for a fee. Confirm both at booking.
Best for: Couples who want a guaranteed kid-free pool without giving up Disney days.
2. The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes

The Ritz-Carlton’s adults-only space is its spa, the largest on this list: 40 treatment rooms, a full salon and what the resort calls an exclusive, adult-only, outdoor heated lap pool. The spa FAQ limits the spa facility and spa pool to guests 18 and older, with a Spa Day Pass or a treatment. The main Ritz-Carlton pool is open to all ages, and the shared Grande Lakes Waterpark next door adds a lazy river and three slides, so expect families around the big pools.
Dinner is the other grown-up draw, led by the MICHELIN-recommended Knife & Spoon. Read our Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes review for rooms and fees, or compare it with other Orlando spa resorts.
- Why stay: A spa day with its own 18+ pool, handy for Universal and SeaWorld.
- Getting there / to the parks: 4012 Central Florida Parkway, east of SeaWorld. By road it’s about 3 miles to SeaWorld’s lot, 5 miles to Epic Universe’s parking plaza, 8.5 miles to Universal’s main garages and 12 to 13 miles to EPCOT’s lot. Shuttles to SeaWorld, Walt Disney World and Universal are included in the resort fee with a 24-hour advance reservation.
- Good to know: At the time of writing, the resort fee is $55 plus tax per night, valet parking is $58 plus tax, and self-parking is only offered at the JW Marriott for $42 plus tax. The Spa Day Pass is a separate purchase.
Best for: Spa-first trips and couples splitting time between Epic Universe and SeaWorld.

3. Conrad Orlando

Conrad Orlando opened in 2024 inside Evermore Orlando Resort, a gated community around the Evermore Bay lagoon. At last check (April 2026 capture), Hilton’s page set the minimum check-in age at 21, rare for a resort this size, and the hotel describes its own resort pool as a place to relax away from the excitement of Evermore Bay. Families are present, with a kids club, a family waterslide pool and a splash pad, but the design, the spa and five dining venues give it a calmer feel than most big Disney-area resorts.
Evermore Bay is reserved for registered overnight guests, with no day passes. Our Conrad Orlando review explains the lagoon, rooms and fees.
- Why stay: A 21+ check-in luxury hotel with a lagoon beach, a few miles from Disney Springs.
- Getting there / to the parks: 1500 Eastbeach Way. By road it’s about 4 miles to Disney Springs, 5 to 6 miles to EPCOT’s and Magic Kingdom’s parking lots and 11 miles to Universal. The hotel’s page lists a Disney shuttle in its resort charge, while Evermore’s FAQ says the wider resort has no centralized park shuttle, so confirm the schedule. Not on Disney’s Early Entry list.
- Good to know: Parking is valet only, listed at $50 per night at last check (April 2026), and a daily resort charge applies whose amount Hilton doesn’t publish on the pages we could reach.
Best for: Couples who want a resort day on a lagoon as much as a park day.
4. Waldorf Astoria Orlando

The Waldorf Astoria is the more formal of the two Hilton hotels at Bonnet Creek, and its FAQ sets the minimum booking age at 21. There is no adults-only pool: the pools are open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and guests can also use the pool and lazy river at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek next door, where most families gather. The adult appeal is the hotel itself: Bull & Bear, the steakhouse with a dress code, the Peacock Alley bar, the spa and the Rees Jones-designed golf course.
You also keep Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry. The Waldorf Astoria Orlando guide has rooms, shuttle details and golf.
- Why stay: Classic, grown-up luxury with Early Entry and one of Orlando’s best-known steakhouses.
- Getting there / to the parks: 14200 Bonnet Creek Resort Lane. The hotel lists EPCOT 2 miles away, but on public roads the drive to EPCOT’s parking lot is about 5 miles and Magic Kingdom’s lot about 6.5 miles. A shuttle to the four Disney parks and Disney Springs is covered by the resort charge; schedules vary daily.
- Good to know: At the time of writing, the daily resort charge is $50 plus tax and valet parking, the only option, is $60 plus tax per day. The charge includes a free kids’-menu dinner for children 12 and under, a reminder that families are welcome.
Best for: Golfers and couples who want a calm base for Disney days and a serious dinner.
5. JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa

The JW Marriott is the modern tower a short drive from EPCOT, and Marriott’s listing (archived July 2026) describes a heated pool complex with an adult-only pool, a children’s pool and a whirlpool, plus Spa by JW, a 9,920-square-foot day spa. There is no lazy river or waterslide, which keeps the pool deck quieter than most Disney-area resorts, though families are welcome and the check-in age is 18.
Marriott doesn’t publish the minimum age for the adult pool, so ask if your group includes older teens. Seven restaurants include Sear + Sea Woodfire Grill and the ninth-floor Illume. Our JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek review covers rooms, the shuttle and fees.
- Why stay: An adult pool and a spa a few miles from Disney, at Marriott rather than Four Seasons prices.
- Getting there / to the parks: 14900 Chelonia Parkway. On public roads it’s about 5 to 5.5 miles to EPCOT’s parking lot, 6.5 miles to Magic Kingdom’s lot and 4.5 miles to Disney Springs. The resort fee covers a shuttle to the Disney parks and Disney Springs; the hotel is not on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list.
- Good to know: At the time of writing, the resort fee is $55 plus tax per night, and Marriott’s listing (July 2026) showed self-parking at $43 and valet at $59 per day. Marriott Bonvoy perks apply only to direct bookings.
Best for: Disney-focused couples who want an adult pool in a newer resort.
See prices and availability at JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek
6. Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate

According to Omni’s pools page (archived September 2025), the former Formal Pool is now an adults-only pool with a minimum age of 18, and the eight private cabanas and the Jacuzzi at that pool are for adults only. Everything else is for families: an 850-foot lazy river, a wave pool, a family pool with slides and a kids pool. That split suits mixed groups, and couples who want a full resort around them but a pool of their own.
The Mokara Spa and two championship golf courses round it out, and Omni’s policies page sets 18 as the age to reserve a room and check in. Read our Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate review for rooms, villas and dining.
- Why stay: A verified 18+ pool with its own Jacuzzi and cabanas, plus golf and a spa.
- Getting there / to the parks: 1500 Masters Boulevard, ChampionsGate, at I-4 Exit 58. By road it’s about 11 to 13 miles to the Disney park lots and 19 miles to Universal. Scheduled Disney transportation is covered by the resort charge but must be reserved; the resort isn’t on Disney’s Early Entry list.
- Good to know: At last check (Omni pages archived December 2025), the resort service charge was $48 plus tax per room per night, and parking was $38 overnight self, $33 daytime and $50 valet.
Best for: Golf trips and resort days where the adults want a pool of their own.

7. Hilton Orlando

Hilton Orlando, beside the convention center, is the value pick for an adults-only pool. The hotel describes a private, enclosed pool reserved for adults 18 and over, with a whirlpool and rentable cabanas; because it’s walled off, it feels like its own space rather than a roped-off corner. The rest of the complex is built for families, with an 892-foot lazy river, a waterslide, a splash pad and 24 rentable cabanas.
The resort charge includes a daily shuttle to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT plus two I-Ride Trolley passes, and a Universal shuttle is booked at the Universal desk in the lobby. Our Hilton Orlando review covers rooms and park transport.
- Why stay: An enclosed 18+ pool at convention-hotel prices, minutes from Epic Universe.
- Getting there / to the parks: 6001 Destination Parkway. By road it’s about 2 miles to Epic Universe’s parking plaza and SeaWorld, 5.5 miles to Universal’s main garages and 10 to 11 miles to EPCOT’s lot.
- Good to know: At the time of writing, the daily resort charge is $47 plus tax, self-parking is $38 and valet $50 per night plus tax, and the minimum check-in age is 18.
Best for: Universal and Epic Universe trips where the adults want a quiet pool at the end of the day.
8. The Alfond Inn

The Alfond Inn is the grown-up Orlando hotel for people who aren’t here for the parks. Its FAQ sets the check-in age at 21, the hotel doubles as a gallery for the Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art, and Park Avenue is a short walk away. The Spa has a private Spa Pool reserved for spa guests 18 and over, available all day with any booked treatment, with shaded cabanas and poolside service.
Non-spa guests use the rooftop pool and bar, covered by the resort fee, and Hamilton’s Kitchen handles dinner. See our Alfond Inn review for rooms, dining and parking, or browse more boutique hotels in Orlando.
- Why stay: A walkable, art-filled 21+ check-in hotel with an 18+ spa pool.
- Getting there / to the parks: 300 East New England Avenue, Winter Park, about a 7-minute walk from Park Avenue. There’s no theme park shuttle; by road it’s about 15 miles to Universal’s garages and 25 to 27 miles to the Disney parking lots.
- Good to know: At the time of writing, the resort fee is $27 plus tax per room per night (it includes the rooftop pool and bar), valet parking starts at $37 plus tax per day, and up to two dogs are welcome for $50 per pet per night.
Best for: Anniversaries and no-parks weekends.
9. Hotel Beauden, Autograph Collection

Hotel Beauden is the former Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, renamed in September 2026 after a redesign. At our last check of Marriott’s page (archived March 2026, before the rename), the minimum age to check in was 21 and parking was valet only at $42 a day ($25 for daytime). Marriott’s current Hotel Beauden page lists the heated Altira rooftop pool as open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the hotel lists Libra, Bar Libra and a lobby Starbucks for food and drinks.
Downtown is the point: the Dr. Phillips Center is about a 0.3-mile walk and the Kia Center about 0.4 miles. Our Hotel Beauden (Grand Bohemian) review tracks what changed in the rebrand.
- Why stay: A 21+ check-in city hotel with a rooftop pool, walkable to downtown’s theater and arena.
- Getting there / to the parks: 325 South Orange Avenue. By road it’s about 10 miles to Universal’s garages and 20 to 22 miles to the Disney parking lots; no theme park shuttle is listed.
- Good to know: No resort fee was listed at last check; because the age and parking figures predate the rename, confirm them with the hotel.
Best for: Dinner-and-a-show weekends and couples who prefer a city to a resort.
10. Lake Nona Wave Hotel

Lake Nona Wave Hotel is the design-and-food choice, a tech-forward tower whose FAQ says all guests must be 21 or older to check in. The rooftop Wave Pool is open every day from dawn until dusk and has private cabanas, and the hotel is known for its restaurants, led by BACÁN. Rooms have balconies, and the hotel’s booking engine listed no resort fee on direct bookings at last check.
The hotel says it is eight miles from the airport, a natural first or last night. Our Lake Nona Wave Hotel review covers rooms, dining and fees.
- Why stay: A stylish 21+ check-in hotel with a rooftop pool and some of Orlando’s best hotel dining.
- Getting there / to the parks: 6100 Wave Hotel Drive. By road it’s about 7 miles to the airport terminals, 16 miles to Epic Universe and 20 to 22 miles to the Disney parking lots. There’s no theme park shuttle.
- Good to know: Self-parking is in the adjacent Wave public garage (floors two and up) and valet costs extra. Pets under 40 pounds are welcome for a cleaning fee.
Best for: Food- and design-minded couples, airport nights and pre-cruise stays.
The nearest real adults-only resorts in Florida
For a genuinely child-free property you’ll need to leave the Orlando area; two options whose official pages state the rule:
- The Collector Luxury Inn & Gardens, St. Augustine. The inn calls itself an adults-only retreat and welcomes adults 16 and up, across nine historic houses with a heated pool and a cocktail bar. It’s about 105 miles, roughly 2 hours, from downtown Orlando by road.
- Bungalows Key Largo. An all-inclusive, adults-only (ages 21+) resort in the Florida Keys. It is about 295 miles, or 5.5 to 6 hours, from Orlando.
How to choose an adults-only-style resort in Orlando
- Decide what “adults-only” has to mean for you. A pool children can’t enter (Four Seasons, Omni, Hilton Orlando, JW Bonnet Creek) is the strongest guarantee. A 21+ check-in hotel shifts the crowd but doesn’t exclude children. A spa pool (Ritz-Carlton, Alfond Inn) needs a treatment or day pass.
- Match the hotel to your park plan. For Disney, Four Seasons and the Waldorf Astoria keep Early Theme Park Entry; the JW Marriott and Conrad are close without it. For Universal and Epic Universe, Hilton Orlando and the Ritz-Carlton are nearest. For no parks, choose Winter Park, downtown or Lake Nona.
- Check the age line. Oasis at Four Seasons is 21+, while the Omni, Hilton Orlando and the two spa pools draw the line at 18, and the Omni, Hilton Orlando and JW Marriott let 18-year-olds check in.
- Add the fees before comparing rates. Resort fees here run from none to $55 a night before tax, and parking up to $60 valet. Our guide to the best luxury resorts in Orlando compares more high-end stays.
Frequently asked questions
Are there any adults-only resorts in Orlando?
Not among the hotels and resorts we checked on official pages at the time of writing; Orlando’s resorts accept children, including the luxury hotels inside Walt Disney World. What you can book instead is a resort with an adults-only pool, such as Four Seasons (21+), Omni ChampionsGate or Hilton Orlando (both 18+), or a 21+ check-in boutique hotel such as The Alfond Inn.
Which Orlando hotels have 21+ check-in?
The Alfond Inn and Lake Nona Wave Hotel state a 21+ check-in age on their own FAQs, and the Waldorf Astoria Orlando sets 21 as its booking age. Marriott listed 21 for Hotel Beauden before its rename and Hilton listed 21 for Conrad Orlando at our last check, so confirm those two. Omni ChampionsGate, Hilton Orlando and JW Marriott Bonnet Creek set 18.
Does a 21+ check-in age mean no children at the hotel?
No. A minimum check-in or booking age applies only to the person registering for the room, so families can still stay at The Alfond Inn, Hotel Beauden, Lake Nona Wave Hotel, Conrad Orlando and the Waldorf Astoria. If you want a space with no kids at all, book a hotel with an age-restricted pool or a spa pool, and treat the check-in rule as a signal rather than a guarantee.
Which Orlando resorts have adults-only pools?
At the time of writing, Four Seasons Resort Orlando’s Oasis pool is 21 and older, Omni ChampionsGate’s adults-only pool and Hilton Orlando’s enclosed pool are 18 and older, and Marriott lists an adult-only pool at JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek without publishing an age. The Ritz-Carlton and The Alfond Inn have 18+ spa pools that require a treatment, or a day pass at the Ritz-Carlton.
What is the best adults-only resort near Disney World?
Four Seasons Resort Orlando comes closest: it sits inside Walt Disney World, has the only 21+ pool on Disney property that we could verify, an adults-only speakeasy and Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry. If it’s out of budget, JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek has an adult-only pool a few miles from EPCOT, and the Waldorf Astoria pairs a 21 booking age with Early Entry.
Where is the nearest real adults-only resort to Orlando?
The Collector Luxury Inn & Gardens in St. Augustine, about 105 miles and roughly two hours from downtown Orlando, describes itself as an adults-only retreat for guests 16 and up. For an all-inclusive, adults-only (21+) resort you have to go to the Florida Keys: Bungalows Key Largo is about 295 miles, or 5.5 to 6 hours, by road.
Bottom line
Orlando has no true adults-only resort, but it has enough grown-up corners to build a trip around. Book Four Seasons Resort Orlando for the 21+ Oasis pool and Disney perks, the Ritz-Carlton for a spa day with an 18+ pool, Omni ChampionsGate or Hilton Orlando for an adults-only pool at a lower rate, and The Alfond Inn, Hotel Beauden or Lake Nona Wave Hotel when you’d rather skip the parks. Confirm the age rule, fees and parking for your dates before you pay.
