The best hotels near Magic Kingdom with shuttle service are the Walt Disney World Swan, whose complimentary buses leave about every 20 to 25 minutes, and Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando, whose free shuttle listed 18 to 19 Magic Kingdom departures a day in mid-October 2026 with no resort fee. Signia by Hilton, Four Seasons and the hourly buses of the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels complete our list.

One catch: hotel shuttles do not stop at the Magic Kingdom gate. They drop you at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), where you board a ferry or the monorail. On party nights, many hotel buses also stop hours earlier.

We checked hotel pages and operators’ booking systems on October 15, 2026. The times below are samples that change with park hours, so confirm them with the hotel.

Quick answer: For the most frequent buses, book the Walt Disney World Swan. For the best value, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area runs a free, first-come shuttle with late returns, adds a free hot breakfast and charges no resort fee. For a big resort pool, Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek listed 15 to 20 Magic Kingdom departures a day. All three get Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry.

How we chose these hotels

  • A confirmed Magic Kingdom run: the hotel’s page and, where there is one, the operator’s booking system or timetable listed a Magic Kingdom (TTC) departure at our October 15, 2026 check. Hotels whose Disney buses skip Magic Kingdom were left out.
  • Sample times: from those systems, for October 12 to 22, 2026.
  • Road distance: our OSRM routes on public roads to the TTC parking lot, without traffic.
  • Costs: from official pages, or Booking.com’s price breakdown where a hotel publishes no amount.

How hotel shuttles to Magic Kingdom work

  • Drop-off at the TTC: every hotel here sends its Magic Kingdom buses to the Transportation and Ticket Center. Disney’s ferryboats and the Express monorail link the TTC with the park; Disney says the monorails start 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom opens and stop an hour after it closes.
  • Allow extra time: the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin’s transportation page warns that the TTC transfer can add 45 minutes to over an hour, depending on crowds and timing.
  • Note your return space: hotel buses leave the TTC from numbered spaces, such as C13 for the Bonnet Creek shuttle, C14 for Caribe Royale, C15 for the Fabulous Buses hotels and Lane C19 for Drury.
  • Disney’s own buses: Disney lists a separate Magic Kingdom bus stop for its resort buses. Our guide to hotels near Magic Kingdom covers the Disney resorts that skip the TTC.

On Early Entry days, work backward. On October 21, 2026, Disney’s calendar showed Magic Kingdom’s Early Entry from 8:30 a.m. and opening at 9:00, and the first Magic Kingdom buses from the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels served by Fabulous Buses were scheduled between 7:00 and 7:35 a.m. Our Magic Kingdom tips for first-timers explain how to use that first half hour.

1. Walt Disney World Swan

The Swan sits between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios on Disney property, about 3.7 miles by road from the TTC lot. It is not a Disney Resort hotel, but Disney includes it in Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, and the resort says its guests park free in standard theme park lots. Read our Walt Disney World Swan review.

  • Why stay: the most frequent Magic Kingdom service here, with no reservation or timetable to plan around.
  • Getting to the parks: complimentary buses arrive at each hotel’s main entrance about every 20 to 25 minutes (one resort page says 20 to 30) for Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs, and Magic Kingdom riders are dropped at the TTC. Buses run until 45 minutes after the parks close. Water taxis and walkways serve EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
  • Good to know: a mandatory resort service package of $50 plus tax a day and hotel self-parking of $40 plus tax a day (valet $51 to $61), at the time of writing.

Best for: Magic Kingdom days without a timetable, plus walk-or-boat days at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

2. Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area

Drury’s shuttle is the best free option here: no resort fee, no reservations and one of the busiest Magic Kingdom timetables we found. Its October 12 to 18, 2026 schedule listed 18 Magic Kingdom departures a day from 7:10 a.m. to 8:05 p.m., plus a 6:35 a.m. bus on October 13 to 18. Returns left TTC Lane C19 from 10:50 a.m. until after midnight on most nights, with extra 1:10 and 1:35 a.m. runs on Halloween party nights.

Drury puts Disney Springs half a mile away (about 0.85 mile on foot by our route), and the TTC lot is about 6.3 miles by road. Our Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando review covers the rooms and pool.

  • Why stay: a free hot breakfast (6 to 10 a.m.), the free 5:30 Kickback with evening snacks and drinks, and Early Theme Park Entry.
  • Getting to the parks: free buses to all four parks leave from the front-entrance canopy, first come, first served. Strollers must be folded, luggage is not allowed, and each bus takes two wheelchairs or ECVs.
  • Good to know: no resort fee. Self-parking is $28 a night on Drury’s brand page ($25 plus tax in the hotel’s FAQ).

Best for: families who want the most Magic Kingdom buses for the lowest total cost.

Read our Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek review.

4. Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

Four Seasons, in Disney’s Golden Oak area, is about 3.9 miles from the TTC lot by road. Its complimentary motorcoaches run once an hour to each of the four theme parks; for Magic Kingdom, the resort says you arrive at the TTC and take a short monorail ride into the park. The lobby’s Disney Planning Center has the daily schedule. See our Four Seasons Resort Orlando guide.

  • Why stay: Early Theme Park Entry and Park View rooms whose furnished terraces face the nightly Walt Disney World fireworks, according to the resort.
  • Getting to the parks: hourly coaches to all four parks are free; direct service to Disney Springs, Universal, SeaWorld and Restaurant Row costs extra.
  • Good to know: parking is valet only. Booking.com’s price breakdown for a sample November night showed a US$60 nightly resort fee, and its listing puts parking at US$60 a day; the resort’s own January 2026 map gives $55 plus tax for the fee.

Best for: luxury trips where a short drive matters more than a published timetable.

Party nights: when the last bus leaves early

On nights of Disney’s separately ticketed parties, Magic Kingdom closes early to day guests. On October 22, 2026, a Halloween party night, Disney’s calendar showed the park open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the party from 7 p.m. to midnight.

  • Fabulous Buses hotels (Buena Vista Palace, Holiday Inn, the Wyndham, DoubleTree Suites and Grand Cypress): the operator’s pages and booking notes say there is no service for special events. At Holiday Inn, the last return on October 22 was 7:30 p.m.
  • Signia: the last return was 6:50 p.m. on the party nights of October 15, 16 and 18.
  • Drury Plaza: its October 12 to 18 schedule added 1:10 and 1:35 a.m. returns on party nights.
  • Caribe Royale: its posted timetable does not mention party nights.

From October 16, the 2026 party dates are: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on October 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31 (all sold out, Disney says), and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on November 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27 and 29 and December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, 18, 20 and 22. With a party ticket and no late bus, plan on a rideshare home.

Hotels whose Disney shuttle skips Magic Kingdom

A “Disney shuttle” is not always a Magic Kingdom shuttle. At our October 15 check, SSS Luxury Transport’s booking system, whose Disney runs include three International Drive resorts, listed EPCOT, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios but no Magic Kingdom for any hotel, and the schedule of Holiday Inn Resort Orlando – Lake Buena Vista (effective October 5, 2026) lists only EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

From International Drive, the hotels that do reach Magic Kingdom tend to send one or two morning buses and bring everyone back from the TTC at 5:20 p.m., before the fireworks; our guide to International Drive hotels with a Disney shuttle names them.

Shuttle or drive to Magic Kingdom?

Driving does not skip the transfer: Disney’s courtesy trams take Magic Kingdom drivers from the lot to the TTC, too. Standard theme park parking was $35 a day at the time of writing, so four Magic Kingdom days add $140 on top of hotel parking (Swan guests park free, the resort says).

Most hotels here charge for the shuttle through a nightly resort fee or package, whether you ride or not; Drury Plaza is the only pick with free buses and no resort fee. For lower-cost bases, see our guide to cheap hotels near Magic Kingdom.

How to choose

  • Most buses: the Swan (every 20 to 25 minutes) or Drury Plaza (18 to 19 Magic Kingdom runs a day).
  • Lowest total cost: Drury Plaza, with free buses, breakfast and no resort fee.
  • Early Entry mornings: the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels and Signia, whose first Magic Kingdom buses on our sample dates left between 6:35 and 7:35 a.m., or the Swan and Four Seasons.
  • Fireworks without a car: check the last return for your date; Caribe Royale and Grand Cypress also run evening buses to the park.
  • Every park: compare 27 hotels in our list of hotels near Disney World with free shuttle.

Frequently asked questions

Do hotel shuttles drop you at the Magic Kingdom entrance?

No. Every hotel shuttle on our list, including the Swan’s buses, stops at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). From there you take Disney’s ferry or the Express monorail to the gate. The Swan and Dolphin’s transportation page warns that the transfer can add 45 minutes to over an hour, so leave early on Early Entry days.

Which hotels near Magic Kingdom have a free shuttle?

Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area is the clearest case: free buses, no reservations and no resort fee. Most other hotels here call the ride complimentary or include it in a mandatory resort fee or package, from $36 to $50 plus tax a night where the hotel publishes the amount. Compare totals with fees before you book.

What time is the last shuttle back from Magic Kingdom?

It depends on park hours. On October 21, 2026, when Magic Kingdom closed at 10 p.m., Buena Vista Palace’s last return was 11 p.m. and Holiday Inn, Wyndham and DoubleTree Suites buses ran until 11:30 p.m. Caribe Royale’s posted last bus is 11:35 p.m. and Grand Cypress’s 9:30 p.m., and the Swan’s buses run until 45 minutes after closing. On party nights, Signia’s last return was 6:50 p.m.

Do I need to reserve a hotel shuttle to Magic Kingdom?

At most hotels, yes. Buena Vista Palace, Holiday Inn, the Wyndham and DoubleTree Suites require reservations with their operator, Caribe Royale books at the concierge desk up to 24 hours ahead, and Grand Cypress takes online bookings 48 hours ahead with a promo code. Drury Plaza runs first come, first served, and the Swan lists no booking step.

Do hotel shuttles run during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?

Usually not. Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area says its buses do not run for the Halloween or Christmas parties, Fabulous Buses runs no service for special events, and Signia’s last return on party nights was 6:50 p.m. Drury Plaza was the exception in mid-October, with returns as late as 1:35 a.m. on party nights.

How far are these hotels from Magic Kingdom?

By our road routes to the TTC parking lot, the Swan is about 3.7 miles away and Four Seasons about 3.9, roughly 7 to 10 minutes without traffic. The Disney Springs Resort Area hotels and Signia are about 5.6 to 6.6 miles away, Grand Cypress about 6.7 and Caribe Royale about 7.6 to 8.3, plus the ferry or monorail ride.

Bottom line

Among hotels near Magic Kingdom with shuttle service, the Walt Disney World Swan has the most frequent buses and Drury Plaza the best value, with free rides, late returns and no resort fee. Whichever you choose, plan for the TTC transfer, check the last bus on party nights and confirm the schedule with the hotel. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
