SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld is an all-suite Marriott on International Drive where every room is a suite of about 418 square feet with a sofa bed, breakfast is included and, as an Official Hotel of SeaWorld, guests get SeaWorld’s free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove. It sits about a 15-minute walk from Aquatica, which makes it a practical pick if you want an Orlando hotel near SeaWorld and Aquatica.

It is not a resort, though. SeaWorld’s gate is a longer walk than the marketing suggests, and the free shuttle to Universal and Disney is more limited than Marriott’s description implies. We checked Marriott’s, SeaWorld’s, Booking.com’s and the shuttle operator’s pages in October 2026 and measured walks and drives on OpenStreetMap routes.

Quick answer: Book it if you want a roomy suite for up to five people, free hot breakfast, a SeaWorld-themed kids’ splash area and an easy base for SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove, with no resort fee and $20 parking. Look elsewhere if you need a short walk to SeaWorld’s gate, room for six, or car-free days at Epic Universe, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, which the hotel’s shuttle doesn’t serve.

Location: how close is SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld to the parks?

The hotel sits beside the Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at SeaWorld, on the stretch of International Drive between Central Florida Parkway and Aquatica. Booking.com describes it as 0.7 mile from SeaWorld’s entrance and SeaWorld’s own listing says “just steps from the entrance”; both are straight-line or marketing figures. On foot, the real route to SeaWorld’s turnstiles follows sidewalks and SeaWorld’s main path through its parking lot.

Marriott’s FAQ gave the airport as 11 miles away at last check; our road route is about 13 miles. The walks follow sidewalks along busy roads with little shade, so with small kids the free shuttle (below) is the easier way to SeaWorld.

The suites: space, beds and who they sleep

Every room here is a suite, and Marriott lists two layouts at about 418 sq ft (39 m²): one king bed plus a sofa bed (maximum occupancy 3) and two queen beds plus a sofa bed (maximum 5). A privacy wall separates the bed area from the living area, which has the sofa, a desk and a kitchenette-style nook with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom has a shower-tub combination and a lighted makeup mirror.

A few details matter for families. Marriott’s room pages say rollaway beds are not permitted and allow one crib per suite; Booking.com’s policy says cribs are free on request for children up to 2, subject to availability, and that there are no extra beds. Booking.com also charges guests 18 and over as adults, so enter every child’s age when you search. Some suites can connect, which is the practical answer for a group of six or more.

Accessible suites come in both layouts, with a roll-in shower or a tub, plus hearing-accessible versions. Marriott also lists accessible parking and a pool lift or sloped entry. The property is non-smoking.

Pool, Splash Zone and recreation

Marriott lists one heated outdoor pool, open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. with towels provided, plus a whirlpool; both are included in your stay. SeaWorld’s listing calls it the Shamu Pool and Splash Zone: the hotel’s photos show a shallow kids’ area with penguin figures, a water-play tower and an orca-tail fountain, with SeaWorld’s coasters visible over the fence.

SeaWorld lists the same Shamu Pool and Splash Zone and the same Splash Bar & Grill for the Fairfield Inn & Suites next door, and the hotel’s aerial photos show the pool between the two buildings, so expect to share the deck with Fairfield guests. Booking.com also mentions a games room and board games.

Breakfast and dining

Breakfast is included in the rate. Marriott describes it as a free hot buffet served Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9:30 a.m.

The lobby Starbucks bar sells specialty coffee and breakfast items for a fee in the morning and, per Marriott, handcrafted cocktails and small bites in the evening. The poolside Splash Bar & Grill serves pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and snacks such as mozzarella sticks and brisket sliders; Marriott’s dining page mentions lunch and dinner but lists only “Open for Dinner”, so check hours on site. There is no room service, according to Marriott’s dining FAQ.

For more choice, Marriott’s dining page lists TGI Fridays, Buffalo Wild Wings, Panera Bread and Firehouse Subs about 0.1 mile away.

Parking, fees and taxes

Marriott listed on-site self-parking at $20 a day at last check (July 2026), and Booking.com showed the same $20 in October 2026, with no reservation possible. We found no valet, and Marriott’s FAQ said there are no EV charging stations.

We found no resort fee on Marriott’s pages, and Booking.com’s price breakdown for a sample November 2026 stay showed only two taxes on top of the room rate: 6% tax and a 6.5% city tax, which add up to Orange County’s usual 12.5%. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.

If you drive to the parks, add their parking too: at the time of writing, Disney’s standard theme park parking was $35 a day and Universal’s garage parking $35 including tax, while SeaWorld listed parking online from $37 plus tax (its FAQ says from $35). The SeaWorld shuttle avoids that cost.

Getting to SeaWorld, Universal and Disney

SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove

SeaWorld’s FAQ says Official Hotel guests ride free with a voucher reserved at the hotel’s guest service desk at least 30 minutes before departure, for the same or next day, based on availability; the schedule varies by date and hotel. For park tips, see our SeaWorld Orlando guide, and for the dolphin park, our Discovery Cove guide.

Universal, Epic Universe and Disney

Marriott’s hotel description (July 2026 capture) promotes a free shuttle to the SeaWorld parks, Universal Orlando, Walt Disney World, Epic Universe and Vineland Premium Outlets. The operator, Florida Bus Service (FBS), listed these departures from the SpringHill lobby for October 16 and 20, 2026, all at a $0.00 fare:

  • Universal Orlando: 8:45 and 11 a.m., back at 5 and 8:15 p.m.
  • Magic Kingdom (Transportation and Ticket Center): 9:45 a.m., back at 7:10 and 10:20 p.m.
  • EPCOT: noon, back at 10:10 p.m.
  • Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets: noon.

There were no Epic Universe, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom runs, and FBS’s printed schedule (effective March 5, 2026) lists the same parks with times up to 10 minutes apart. Book at themeparkbus.com at least 2 hours ahead; seats are limited. Booking.com lists a shuttle for an additional charge, so confirm with the hotel (+1 407-354-1176).

By car, Epic Universe is about 3.3 miles away, Universal’s garages about 6 and the Disney parks 9.5 to 11.5. Our list of Marriott hotels near Universal Orlando covers closer Bonvoy options.

I-RIDE Trolley and the airport

The I-RIDE Trolley Red Line runs along International Drive to SeaWorld and on to Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, about every 20 minutes from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. A ride costs $2 ($1 for ages 3 to 9, exact change) and unlimited passes start at $8 a day, sold off board.

The hotel has no airport shuttle. Marriott listed Orlando All Trans on request at $41 one way or $82 round trip to MCO at last check (July 2026). Our guide from Orlando airport to International Drive compares the other ways in.

SeaWorld Official Hotel perks

SeaWorld lists these benefits for its 12 Official Hotels:

  • Free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove (voucher rules above).
  • Free Rescue Tour at SeaWorld Orlando.
  • Priority Entry to SeaWorld daily through the VIP entrance: keep to the far left and show the benefits card from the hotel’s guest service desk. It is a faster entry line, not early admission.
  • Discounts: 10% off dining at SeaWorld and Aquatica (not on advance purchases) and 20% off merchandise purchases of $50 or more. For Discovery Cove, the FAQ says 10% off the Upgraded Drink Package while the comparison chart says 10% off dining, so ask which applies.

Benefits are subject to change and can’t be combined with other offers. SeaWorld doesn’t say whether they depend on how you booked, so if you book on Booking.com, ask the hotel. SeaWorld also sells hotel packages here (such as Aquatica Free and Kids Free), booked through SeaWorld at least 48 hours ahead. Our list of SeaWorld Orlando official hotels compares all 12.

Amenities: fitness, Wi-Fi and services

The fitness center is open 24 hours with treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, strength equipment and a multi-use bench. Marriott also lists a guest laundry, a business center, free lobby coffee and tea, mobile key and a meeting space for about 45 people; there is a small market by the front desk.

Two service details to know. Marriott listed housekeeping every other day at last check. Wi-Fi wording also varies: Marriott’s suite details list complimentary wireless internet, its FAQ ties free in-room internet to Bonvoy members booking direct, SeaWorld says free Wi-Fi throughout, and Booking.com’s facility list says “no internet access available” despite its description. If you book on Booking.com, ask whether Wi-Fi is free for you. Bonvoy points and member rates apply only to direct Marriott bookings.

Who SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld suits

  • Split stays: a few SeaWorld nights before moving closer to Disney or Universal; see our guide to where to stay in Orlando.
  • Less ideal for: six in one room, car-free Disney trips and anyone expecting a lazy river or water slides.

Limitations to know

  • SeaWorld’s gate is about 1.2 miles away on foot, roughly 25 minutes.
  • Suites top out at five guests, and rollaway beds aren’t allowed.
  • The Universal and Disney shuttle is limited to a few departures a day, skips Epic Universe, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, and Booking.com lists it as an extra charge.
  • The pool deck appears to be shared with the Fairfield next door.
  • Housekeeping every other day, no room service, no EV charging and no pets (service animals only).

What to check before you book

  • The shuttle: current times on themeparkbus.com (book at least 2 hours ahead) and whether the hotel charges you for it.
  • Whether SeaWorld’s Official Hotel benefits apply to your Booking.com reservation.
  • Room type against your group: king suites sleep 3, two-queen suites 5; add each child’s age.
  • A crib request if you need one (one per suite per Marriott).
  • Parking ($20 a day at the time of writing) and the 12.5% tax on the room rate.
  • Wi-Fi terms for non-Bonvoy bookings.
  • Aquatica’s calendar, since its hours and operating days vary by season; our Orlando water parks guide covers the seasons.

Nearby alternatives

If you want to walk to SeaWorld’s gate, the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld sits across the street from SeaWorld, with a splash area with two water slides and full-service dining, but it charges a resort fee and more for parking. The DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Theme Park Resort has bigger resort grounds, though as a SeaWorld Hotel Partner it doesn’t get SeaWorld’s Official Hotel shuttle.

Next door, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando at SeaWorld shares the pool and has standard rooms as well as suites. TownePlace Suites, a short walk north, has full kitchens and is a little closer to Aquatica. Our list of the best hotels near SeaWorld Orlando compares all of them with measured walks.

Frequently asked questions

Does SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld have a free shuttle?

Yes to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove: as an Official Hotel, it offers SeaWorld’s free shuttle with a voucher booked at the guest service desk. The operator’s booking system also lists free runs to Universal (two a day) and to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT (one each), booked online at least 2 hours ahead, but none to Epic Universe. Booking.com lists a shuttle charge, so confirm with the hotel.

Can you walk from SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld to SeaWorld and Aquatica?

Yes, but the distances differ. Aquatica is about 0.7 mile, roughly a 15-minute walk, and Discovery Cove’s parking lot about 0.6 mile. SeaWorld’s park entrance is about 1.2 miles, around 25 minutes, including the walk through SeaWorld’s parking lot. In summer heat, the free shuttle is the easier way to SeaWorld.

Does SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld charge a resort fee or for parking?

We found no resort fee on Marriott’s pages, and Booking.com’s breakdown for a sample stay showed only taxes (6% plus a 6.5% city tax) on top of the room rate. Self-parking costs $20 a day at the time of writing, according to both Marriott and Booking.com. Marriott’s FAQ lists no EV chargers.

How many people can stay in a suite?

Marriott lists both suite types at about 418 sq ft: the king suite with a sofa bed sleeps up to 3 and the two-queen suite with a sofa bed sleeps up to 5. Rollaway beds aren’t permitted, and one crib is allowed per suite. Groups of six or more need two suites; some connect, so ask when you book.

Is breakfast free at SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld?

Yes. Marriott lists a free hot buffet breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. on weekdays and 7 to 9:30 a.m. on weekends, served in the hotel’s breakfast room. The Starbucks bar sells coffee and breakfast items for a fee if you want something extra.

Is it a good base for Universal and Disney?

It works with a car. Epic Universe is about 3.3 miles away, Universal’s garages about 6 miles and the Disney parks 9.5 to 11.5 miles. Without a car, the free shuttle covers Universal twice each morning and Magic Kingdom and EPCOT once a day, with no Epic Universe, Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom runs. For a Disney-focused trip, a hotel near Disney, ideally one on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list, makes more sense.

Bottom line

SpringHill Suites Orlando at SeaWorld is a solid base for a SeaWorld and Aquatica trip: suites for up to five, free hot breakfast, a splash area, SeaWorld’s free shuttle and no resort fee. Budget $20 a day for parking, use the shuttle rather than walking to SeaWorld’s gate, and reserve the limited Universal and Disney shuttle online ahead of time.
