The best hotels near Hollywood Studios with shuttle service are the ones whose buses run to the Studios all day, not just once in the late morning. In our check of the week of October 26, 2026, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando had 15 free Studios departures a day, and several hotels by Disney Springs ran hourly buses. If you would rather skip the bus, the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve are a little over a mile from the park gate on foot, with water taxis to the park.
Plenty of hotels advertise a “Disney shuttle” that reaches Hollywood Studios only once or twice a day. So instead of trusting the word shuttle, we pulled each hotel’s current Studios timetable from its own website or its bus operator’s booking system, then noted the first bus, the last ride back and the booking rules. For Disney’s own resorts with boats and the Skyliner, see our full guide to hotels near Hollywood Studios.
Quick answer: To skip buses, book the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin or Swan Reserve: walk a little over a mile or ride the FriendShip water taxi, and get Early Theme Park Entry plus the 7-day Lightning Lane window. For the most buses with no resort fee, book Drury Plaza: 15 free Studios departures a day, no reservations and a free hot breakfast. For a lazy river and buses back until about 10 p.m., pick Signia by Hilton, where a daily resort charge covers the shuttle.

How we chose these Hollywood Studios shuttle hotels
- Studios service we could verify: every time and pickup spot comes from the hotel’s own page or its operator’s live schedule (Drury’s weekly PDF, the Mears schedule for Bonnet Creek and the Fabulous Buses booking calendar), checked on October 26, 2026. Hotels with only one or two Studios runs a day were left out.
- Ranked by access, then convenience: walking and boat access first, then hotels where you just show up for the bus, then hotels that require a reservation. Within each group we looked at the number of Studios departures and the first and last rides back.
- Real costs: resort fees and parking come from official pages. Driving distances are routes on public roads to the drop-off area outside the Hollywood Studios entrance, rounded. We do not use review scores, star ratings or room prices.

Road distances run to the drop-off area outside the Hollywood Studios entrance. The drive back is about 1 to 1.5 miles longer on our routes, which leave the park by Osceola Parkway. Walking distances run to the park entrance and take about 25 minutes.
Where hotel shuttles drop you at Hollywood Studios
Every option below gets you to the park, but the pickup spots for the ride back differ. Our Hollywood Studios tips for first-timers explain which rides to do first once you are inside.
- Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve: the FriendShip water taxis leave from the dock by the covered walkway between the Swan and the Dolphin. The resort says they run about every 20 to 25 minutes, starting 1 hour before the parks open. Boats do not run in bad weather, but walkways also lead to the park entrance.
- Off-site shuttles: buses drop you at the park and pick you up for the ride back at a numbered space in the Studios bus parking: space 67 for the three Fabulous Buses hotels, Lane 64 for Drury Plaza and space 62 for Signia.
- Coming back: take a photo of the space number when you get off. Buses leave on schedule. Drury asks you to be at the stop about 10 minutes early, and Fabulous Buses asks for at least 5 minutes at the return stop. Fabulous Buses also lets you ride back from a different park on one of its scheduled returns, so a park-hopping day still works.
1. Walt Disney World Dolphin

The Dolphin is the bigger of the two landmark hotels on Crescent Lake, and it shares the FriendShip boat dock and the walkways with the Swan. Water taxis go to Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and the BoardWalk about every 20 to 25 minutes. By our route, the Studios entrance is about 1.1 miles away on foot, roughly 25 minutes at an easy pace. Our Walt Disney World Dolphin review covers the rooms and restaurants.
- Why stay: no shuttle timetable to plan around. Disney lists the Dolphin for Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Hours and the 7-day Lightning Lane purchase window.
- Getting there / to the parks: walk or take the boat to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Complimentary buses from the front entrance go to Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom, where they stop at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The resort’s FAQ says buses keep running 45 minutes after the parks close.
- Good to know: a mandatory resort service package of $50 a day plus tax applies, and self-parking costs $40 a day plus tax. Standard theme park parking is included. A third, fourth or fifth adult in a Dolphin room costs $35 a night plus tax.
Best for: larger families who want to walk or ride a boat to the Studios.
2. Walt Disney World Swan

The Swan stands across the causeway from the Dolphin and uses the same dock and walkways, so your trip to Hollywood Studios is the same: a water taxi every 20 to 25 minutes or a walk of about 1.1 miles. It is the smaller building of the two, topped by two large swan statues. Read our Walt Disney World Swan review for the room types.
- Why stay: the same Disney perks as the Dolphin, including Early Entry, Extended Evening Hours and the 7-day Lightning Lane window, in a smaller hotel.
- Getting there / to the parks: walk or ride the boat to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Complimentary buses serve Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom (via the Transportation and Ticket Center).
- Good to know: the same $50 resort service package and $40 self-parking apply, plus tax, and valet costs $51 to $61 a day plus tax. A third or fourth adult in the room costs $35 a night plus tax.
Best for: couples and families of four who want the Studios within walking distance.
3. Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

The Swan Reserve is the newest of the three, a modern tower across Epcot Resorts Boulevard from the Swan. Disney lists the FriendShip boat launch at the Swan and Dolphin, not at the Swan Reserve, so you walk over to the shared dock before you board. Walking all the way to the Studios entrance is also about 1.1 miles by our route. Our Walt Disney World Swan Reserve review goes through the suites.
- Why stay: newer rooms with the same Early Entry, Extended Evening Hours and 7-day Lightning Lane window as its two neighbors.
- Getting there / to the parks: walk to the Studios or use the shared boat dock. Buses to Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom leave from the Swan Reserve’s own front entrance.
- Good to know: self-parking is $40 a day plus tax. The resort’s FAQ quotes the $50 daily package without naming each hotel, so confirm the charge on your booking. A third or fourth adult costs $35 a night plus tax.
Best for: couples and small families who want a newer room and a walk to the Studios.
4. Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area

Drury Plaza ran the busiest Studios schedule we found. Its schedule for October 26 to November 1 lists 15 departures to Hollywood Studios, from 7:15 a.m. to 7:50 p.m., and 12 rides back from Lane 64, from 11:10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. (the 8:30 p.m. return does not run on November 1). The buses are free, the hotel charges no resort fee and you do not reserve: seats go first come, first served under the front canopy. Our Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando review covers the rooms and suites.
- Why stay: no resort fee, a free hot breakfast from 6 to 10 a.m., the free 5:30 Kickback with snacks and drinks from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry.
- Getting there / to the parks: free buses run to all four parks, and the hotel posts a new schedule each week on its transportation page. The schedule asks you to arrive about 10 minutes early and fold strollers, says buses make at least two stops on each route and does not allow luggage.
- Good to know: parking is self-parking only, and the hotel’s pages disagree on the price: $28 a night on the hotel-information page, $25 plus tax in the FAQ. Each bus takes two wheelchairs or scooters, first come, first served.
Best for: budget-minded families who want the most Studios buses and no resort fee.

5. Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

Signia’s buses are Mears motorcoaches, and the timetable is public on the Bonnet Shuttle site that the hotel links to. For October 29 it listed 10 Hollywood Studios departures from Signia: hourly from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., then 1:30, 3:30, 6, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. It listed 11 pickups at Studios space 62 between 8 a.m. and 10:15 p.m., with gaps of about two hours in the afternoon. The same coach also stops at the sister resort next door. Our Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek review covers the pools.
- Why stay: Early Entry, a lazy river for an afternoon break, and a free dinner for children 12 and under at La Luce or Harvest Bistro, one kids’ meal per adult entrée.
- Getting there / to the parks: Signia’s pages mention no reservation step. The hotel says the shuttle runs during regularly scheduled park hours only, and the same service goes to the other three parks and Disney Springs.
- Good to know: the resort charge of $50 a night plus tax covers the shuttle, Wi-Fi for up to two devices, four lazy river tubes, the kids’ dinners and breakfast for children 5 and under with an adult entrée. Self-parking is $40 and valet $60 a day, plus tax.
Best for: pool-loving families who want Early Entry and a bus back after the evening shows.
6. Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace – Disney Springs Area

The Buena Vista Palace publishes a clear rule: Studios buses leave every hour at 35 minutes past the hour, the first one 90 minutes before the park opens, and come back at 10 minutes past the hour until about 60 minutes after closing. The Fabulous Buses calendar for October 29 was close: departures ran from 7:35 a.m. to 7:35 p.m., and rides back from space 67 ran from 12:10 to 10:10 p.m., 70 minutes after the 9 p.m. closing. Our Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace review covers the tower rooms.
- Why stay: Early Entry, rides back from the Studios from just after noon, and a walk of 5 to 7 minutes to Disney Springs for dinner, according to the hotel.
- Getting there / to the parks: the hotel says reservations are required in both directions and can be made 72 hours ahead, while the operator’s booking page calls them “recommended” and allows 48 hours. Buses leave from the first floor, outside next to the courtyard. There is no Disney Springs shuttle; you walk over the pedestrian bridge.
- Good to know: the resort charge of $41 a night plus tax covers internet, the Disney parks shuttle and float lagoon access. Self-parking is $38 and valet $48 a night, plus tax.
Best for: a morning at the Studios, a pool break and dinner at Disney Springs, without a car.

7. Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area

Holiday Inn’s buses run every hour to all four parks, and its FAQ confirms that they run for Early Theme Park Entry. In the operator’s calendar for October 29, Studios departures left hourly from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and rides back from space 67 left hourly from 12:40 to 10:40 p.m. That last bus was the latest in this guide on our sample day, together with the Renaissance. Our Holiday Inn Orlando Disney Springs review has the room details.
- Why stay: Early Entry, a walk of 7 to 10 minutes to Disney Springs, according to its FAQ, and Kids Eat Free in the resort fee (terms apply).
- Getting there / to the parks: book your whole party at the front desk or with the QR code you get at check-in, up to 48 hours ahead (the operator’s booking listing says up to 7 days). Same-day seats are possible if any are left, and the hotel’s app has a live bus tracker. Buses do not run for after-hours events such as Disney Jollywood Nights.
- Good to know: the resort fee is $39 plus 12.5% tax and includes the hourly park transportation. Standard parking is $27 and preferred parking $31 a night, plus tax (the hotel’s amenities page). The minimum check-in age is 21.
Best for: families who want Early Entry and a late bus after the nighttime show.
8. Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa

The former B Resort reopened as a Renaissance after a renovation in 2024, and it is on Disney’s Early Entry list. Its free park shuttle follows the same Fabulous Buses pattern as Holiday Inn: hourly Studios departures from 7:05 a.m. to 7:05 p.m. on October 29, and hourly rides back from space 67 from 12:40 to 10:40 p.m. Our Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa review covers the rooms, some with bunk beds for kids.
- Why stay: Early Entry, an on-site spa, renovated rooms and a park shuttle that the hotel calls complimentary.
- Getting there / to the parks: reservations are required, but you can only make them after check-in, with the QR code at the front desk. You can reserve seats for up to seven days of your stay. The shuttle does not stop at Disney Springs.
- Good to know: the resort fee is $39 a night plus tax and covers Wi-Fi, two drinks a day, bottled water and a shuttle to the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets. Self-parking is $30 and valet $45 a night, plus tax. The hotel does not accept pets, except service animals.
Best for: couples and families who want Early Entry, a spa and a walk to Disney Springs.
Hotels with only one or two Studios buses a day
Many hotels in Kissimmee, Celebration, Flamingo Crossings and southern Lake Buena Vista also advertise a Disney shuttle, but their Studios service is thin. In the Firefighters All Services booking system, 28 hotels listed Hollywood Studios runs for October 29, 2026. Each had one or two departures, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:55 p.m., with rides back at fixed times between 5:15 and 10:15 p.m. Most runs showed a rate of $0.00, but none of them gets you there for Early Entry. Our guides to Kissimmee hotels with a Disney shuttle and International Drive hotels with a Disney shuttle give hotel-by-hotel timetables for Kissimmee and International Drive.
How to choose a hotel with a Hollywood Studios shuttle
- No bus at all: the Dolphin, Swan or Swan Reserve. Disney’s calendar showed only one Extended Evening Hours night at Hollywood Studios through late December 2026 (October 28, 9 to 11 p.m.), so the bigger daily perks are Early Entry and the 7-day Lightning Lane window. Our guide to Disney Extended Evening Hours lists the nights at each park.
- Most buses for the least money: Drury Plaza, with 15 free Studios runs a day and no resort fee in the week we checked.
- Leaving early for a pool break: Signia’s rides back run through the morning and Drury’s start at 11:10 a.m. The Buena Vista Palace starts at 12:10 p.m., and Holiday Inn and the Renaissance at 12:40 p.m.
- Staying for Fantasmic!: on our sample dates the park closed at 9 p.m., and Fantasmic! had a 9:30 p.m. show (plus an 8 p.m. show on October 29). The last buses left at 10:10 p.m. (Buena Vista Palace), 10:15 p.m. (Signia), 10:30 p.m. (Drury) and 10:40 p.m. (Holiday Inn and the Renaissance). If you watch the late show, aim for the last bus or walk back to the Swan and Dolphin.
- Early Entry: all eight hotels are on Disney’s list. Studios Early Entry started at 8:30 a.m. on our sample dates, and the first buses left between 7 and 7:35 a.m. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Slinky Dog Dash are on Disney’s early-entry ride list.
- Disney Jollywood Nights: this separately ticketed party runs on select nights from November 7, 2026, to January 5, 2027. On the event dates through December 23 (November 7, 14, 16, 21, 23 and 28; December 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21 and 23), Disney’s calendar shows Hollywood Studios closing to day guests at 7 p.m. Fabulous Buses says it has no service for special events, so plan your ride back around the early closing.
- Other parks: Disney charges $35 a day for standard theme park parking, which is included for Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve guests. For the other parks, see our shuttle guides for hotels near EPCOT, hotels near Magic Kingdom and hotels near Animal Kingdom, or our list of hotels near Disney World with a free shuttle.
Frequently asked questions
Which hotels near Hollywood Studios have a free shuttle?
Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando runs free Studios buses and charges no resort fee, and it had the most departures we found. The Renaissance Orlando Resort and Spa calls its shuttle complimentary, but a $39 nightly resort fee applies anyway. At Signia, the Buena Vista Palace and Holiday Inn, a mandatory resort charge covers the bus. The Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve boats are free, but a $50 daily package applies (confirm it for the Swan Reserve).
Where do hotel shuttles drop you off at Hollywood Studios?
Off-site shuttles stop at Hollywood Studios itself and pick you up for the ride back at a numbered space in the bus parking: space 67 for the Fabulous Buses hotels, Lane 64 for Drury Plaza and space 62 for Signia. Guests at the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve take the FriendShip water taxi or walk about 1.1 miles to the park entrance.
Do I need to reserve my hotel’s Hollywood Studios shuttle?
It depends on the hotel. Drury Plaza loads first come, first served, and Signia’s pages mention no reservation. The Buena Vista Palace and Holiday Inn require reservations, which open 72 or 48 hours ahead on the hotels’ pages. The Renaissance takes bookings only after check-in. Neither the resort nor Disney mentions a booking step for the FriendShip boats at the Swan and Dolphin.
Can I watch Fantasmic! and still catch my hotel shuttle?
Usually, yes. On our sample dates the park closed at 9 p.m., the last Fantasmic! show started at 9:30 p.m., and the last buses back left between 10:10 p.m. (Buena Vista Palace) and 10:40 p.m. (Holiday Inn and the Renaissance). Check the last bus for your date when you book your seats, and keep a rideshare app as a backup.
Do off-site hotel shuttles get you to Hollywood Studios for Early Theme Park Entry?
At the hotels on Disney’s Early Entry list, yes. Studios Early Entry started at 8:30 a.m. on our sample dates, and the first buses from Drury, Signia, the Buena Vista Palace, Holiday Inn and the Renaissance left between 7 and 7:35 a.m. The hotels with only one or two Studios runs left between 9:30 a.m. and 12:55 p.m.
Which hotels can you walk to Hollywood Studios from?
Among hotels sold on Booking.com, the Walt Disney World Dolphin, Swan and Swan Reserve are about 1.1 miles from the Studios entrance on foot, or about 25 minutes. Disney’s own BoardWalk, Beach Club and Yacht Club are also on the FriendShip boat route, but you book those through Disney, as our guide to hotels near Hollywood Studios explains.
Bottom line
For a shuttle that really serves Hollywood Studios, Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando is the best value: free buses all day, no reservations, no resort fee and a free hot breakfast. Pick the Swan, Dolphin or Swan Reserve if you would rather walk or ride a boat. For resort amenities, Signia adds a lazy river and buses until about 10 p.m., while the Buena Vista Palace, Holiday Inn and the Renaissance run reserved hourly buses. Whatever you book, confirm the current Studios schedule when you check in. Check your dates at Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando
