The closest hotels near Hollywood Studios are the ones that let you skip the car: the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve sit on a walkway and boat route to the park gate, and Disney’s own BoardWalk and Skyliner resorts connect to it on foot, by boat or by gondola.

If those are full or over budget, the Bonnet Creek resorts and the hotels near Disney Springs are roughly 3.5 to 6 miles away by road. They run park shuttles, and all but one on this list give you Disney’s 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry, which matters at a park where Rise of the Resistance and Slinky Dog Dash are on the early-entry ride list.

This guide focuses on how you reach the Studios gate from each hotel. If EPCOT is your main park, see our guide to hotels near EPCOT.

Quick answer: For the shortest trip, book the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin or Swan Reserve: you can walk about a mile to the Hollywood Studios entrance or ride the FriendShip boat, and you get Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours. For a lazy river, Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is about 4 miles away by road, with a shuttle and Early Entry. On a budget, the Drury Plaza has no resort fee, free breakfast and a free park shuttle.

How we chose these hotels

A hotel made the list if you can walk or take a boat to Hollywood Studios, or if it sits within about 6 miles of the park’s guest lots by road and runs a park shuttle. We then checked:

  • Access: walkways, boats and shuttles on the hotel’s or Disney’s own pages.
  • Early Entry: Disney’s list of participating hotels.
  • Fees: resort fees and parking from official pages, at the time of writing.
  • Distance: OpenStreetMap road routing (OSRM) to the guest lots and foot routing to the entrance. These are estimates.

We don’t use review scores. Disney-owned resorts get their own section because they aren’t sold on Booking.com.

1. Walt Disney World Swan

Walt Disney World Swan at dusk with swan statues and a FriendShip boat at the dock

The Swan and its two sister hotels are the closest non-Disney-owned rooms to the Studios gate. The 12-story building, topped by two 47-foot swan statues, has 756 rooms, eight restaurants and lounges such as Il Mulino and Kimonos, and an open-air pool area with cabanas.

The resort says a FriendShip water taxi runs about every 20 to 25 minutes to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, and walkways lead to both entrances. OpenStreetMap’s walking route to the Studios entrance is roughly 1.1 miles, about 20 to 25 minutes.

  • Why stay: Walk or boat to the Studios, plus Early Entry, Extended Evening Hours and Lightning Lane purchases from 7 days before your stay.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Walkway or boat to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT (no boats in bad weather); buses to Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom. Standard theme park parking is included.
  • Good to know: The complex’s FAQ lists a mandatory $50 + tax daily resort service package and self-parking at $40 + tax a day (valet $51 to $61 + tax) at the time of writing, matching Disney’s current parking page; a June 2026 capture of Disney’s US page still showed $36 self and $44 valet, so confirm with the hotel. Traditional rooms (340 sq ft) sleep 2 adults and 2 children.

Best for: Couples and families of four who want to walk to Hollywood Studios and earn Marriott Bonvoy points.

2. Walt Disney World Dolphin

Triangular Walt Disney World Dolphin building with dolphin statues and a boat on the lake

The Dolphin is the biggest of the three: 27 stories, 1,514 rooms including 124 suites, 11 restaurants and lounges such as Todd English’s bluezoo and Bourbon Steak, and the Mandara Spa. Its four pools include a grotto pool with a waterfall and water slide, next to a white sand beach area.

It shares the boat dock and walkways with the Swan; the walk to the Studios entrance is about 1.1 miles, so allow 25 minutes with kids.

  • Why stay: Traditional rooms (360 sq ft) are listed for 2 adults and 3 children, and family rooms (480 sq ft) add an alcove, some with a sofa bed.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Walkway or FriendShip boat to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, buses to the other parks and Disney Springs. Early Entry and Extended Evening Hours apply.
  • Good to know: Same $50 + tax resort service package and hotel parking charges as the Swan at the time of writing. The FAQ adds $35 a night plus tax for a third, fourth or fifth adult in a Dolphin room.

Best for: Families of five who want to walk to Hollywood Studios.

3. Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

Modern glass tower of the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve behind palms and a lakeside beach

The newest of the trio is a 14-story modern tower with 349 rooms (149 suites), four restaurants and lounges including the Mediterranean Amare, and a pool with an elevated deck and fire pit.

It sits beside the Swan and shares the complex’s transportation. Disney lists the Swan and Dolphin boat dock, not the Swan Reserve, so expect a short walk to the boat. On foot, the Studios entrance is about 1.1 miles away.

  • Why stay: Newer rooms in a smaller hotel, with the same Disney benefits as the Swan and Dolphin: Early Entry, Extended Evening Hours and the 7-day Lightning Lane window.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Walk to Hollywood Studios or EPCOT, or use the shared boat dock.
  • Good to know: Traditional rooms are 330 sq ft with two queens or a king and sofa bed, listed for 2 adults and 2 children. The complex-wide FAQ lists the $50 + tax resort service package and $40 + tax self-parking at the time of writing.

Best for: Couples and small families who want a modern room within walking distance.

4. Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

Aerial view of the lazy river, pools and cabanas at Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

If you’d rather trade the walk for a big resort pool, Signia is the strongest off-site pick. It sits within a 482-acre nature preserve in Bonnet Creek, its pool area includes a 3-acre lazy river, and the Studios lots are about 4 miles by road.

It’s on Disney’s Early Entry list, and its $50 + tax daily resort charge includes a shuttle to the four Disney parks and Disney Springs, Wi-Fi, four lazy river tubes and a free kids’ dinner (12 and under, one per adult entree). Our full Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek review has the details.

  • Why stay: A lazy river, Early Entry and a park shuttle that’s part of the resort charge.
  • Getting there / to the parks: The FAQ says the shuttle runs during regularly scheduled park hours only, so ask whether the first bus reaches Hollywood Studios in time for Early Entry. Driving takes about 15 minutes.
  • Good to know: $50 + tax resort charge; self-parking $40 and valet $60 a day plus tax at the time of writing. As an off-site guest, you can buy Lightning Lane passes 3 days ahead, not 7.

Best for: Families who want a lazy river, Early Entry and a short drive to the Studios.

5. Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Palm-lined pool with umbrellas and loungers overlooking the golf course at Waldorf Astoria Orlando

The Waldorf shares Bonnet Creek Resort Lane with Signia. It has its own pool and the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club, and its FAQ says Waldorf guests can also use Signia’s pool, lazy river and restaurants.

It’s on Disney’s Early Entry list too, and the hotel runs complimentary transportation to all four Disney theme parks, with schedules that vary by day. By road, the Hollywood Studios lots are about 4 to 4.5 miles away.

  • Why stay: A luxury base with Early Entry, plus access to Signia’s lazy river next door.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Hotel shuttle to Hollywood Studios; ask the front desk or concierge for the day’s schedule, or drive roughly 15 to 17 minutes.
  • Good to know: $50 + tax daily resort charge. The FAQ lists 24-hour valet parking at $60 a day plus tax at the time of writing.

Best for: Couples and families who want a luxury hotel with Early Entry and a short ride to the Studios.

6. Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

King room with a lake and tower view at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

Of the three Bonnet Creek hotels on this list, the Wyndham Grand was the closest to the Studios lots in our routing, about 3.5 to 4 miles. Its resort fee includes the Club Wyndham pools, hot tubs and mini golf next door.

The trade-off is that it isn’t on Disney’s Early Entry list. The shuttle runs on a fixed timetable: at last check (October 2026), the posted schedule showed departures to Hollywood Studios at 8:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m., with returns at 5 and 9:30 p.m. See our Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek review for rooms and dining.

  • Why stay: A lower daily fee than Signia or the Waldorf ($42 vs $50) and a short drive to the Studios.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Timed shuttle, first come, first served (be at the stop 10 minutes early), or about 15 minutes by car.
  • Good to know: $42 daily resort services fee covering Wi-Fi, the Disney shuttle and Club Wyndham pool access; self-parking $36 and valet $42 a day plus tax at the time of writing.

Best for: Drivers who want resort pools near the Studios and can live without Early Entry.

7. Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista

This 814-room Hilton connects to Disney Springs by a pedestrian skybridge. It has two heated pools, a kids’ splash pad, a 24-hour arcade and six dining options, including the Covington Mill breakfast buffet and Benihana.

It’s on Disney’s Early Entry list. A May 2026 capture of Hilton’s site says Disney shuttle departures begin 90 minutes before the parks open, and returns run until 60 minutes after closing. By road, the Studios lots are about 6 miles away, roughly 15 minutes.

  • Why stay: Disney Springs on foot, plus a shuttle to the Studios for Early Entry.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Hotel shuttle covered by the resort charge, or a 15-minute drive.
  • Good to know: Hilton lists a daily resort charge covering Wi-Fi, the Disney shuttle and breakfast for kids 5 and under, but we couldn’t find the amount, so check at booking. A May 2026 capture of Hilton’s page showed self-parking at $38 and valet at $48 a night plus 6.5% tax.

Best for: Families who want Disney Springs on foot and a large hotel with two pools.

8. Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace

Pool with turquoise umbrellas, cabanas and palm trees below the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace tower

The Buena Vista Palace heats its pools to 82 to 85 degrees, includes float lagoon access in its resort charge and is a 5- to 7-minute walk from Disney Springs. It’s an Early Entry hotel, about 5 miles from the Studios lots by road.

The shuttle needs a reservation both ways, bookable up to 72 hours ahead. Buses leave the hotel at 35 minutes past each hour, starting 90 minutes before the park opens, and Hollywood Studios returns leave at 10 minutes past the hour until an hour after closing. Our Disney Springs area hotels guide compares it with its neighbors.

  • Why stay: Early Entry, heated pools and a reserved seat on an hourly shuttle.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Reserve the shuttle (the hotel lists space 67 for Hollywood Studios pickups) or drive about 15 minutes. There’s no hotel shuttle to Disney Springs; you walk.
  • Good to know: $41 + tax daily resort charge; self-parking $38 and valet $48 a night plus tax at the time of writing.

Best for: Planners who like a reserved seat on a set schedule.

9. Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area

Large outdoor pool and hotel tower at dusk at Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando Disney Springs Area

The Drury is the value pick here: no resort fee, a free hot breakfast and the 5:30 Kickback with evening snacks and cold drinks, plus a saltwater pool and an arcade. Disney Springs is half a mile away.

It’s on Disney’s Early Entry list and runs a free shuttle to all four Disney theme parks. The hotel also lists free late-night rides back from Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios after select special events. By road, the Studios lots are about 5.5 to 6 miles away.

  • Why stay: Lower add-on costs, with no resort fee and breakfast included.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Free hourly hotel shuttle (check the posted times at the hotel) or about 15 minutes by car.
  • Good to know: The hotel’s page lists self-parking at $28 a night at the time of writing, though an older FAQ answer still says $25, so confirm. Early check-in and late check-out cost $50 each, subject to availability.

Best for: Budget-minded families who want breakfast included and Early Entry.

10. Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista

Five-story courtyard building, lawn and palms at sunset at Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista

The Wyndham Garden shares a site at 1850 Hotel Plaza Boulevard with the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista tower. Its 394 rooms sit in two five-story courtyard buildings, and the shared site points to a pedestrian bridge to Disney Springs.

Both Wyndham hotels are on Disney’s Early Entry list, and their shared site lists complimentary hourly shuttles around Walt Disney World. The FAQ says the first shuttle leaves 90 minutes before each park opens and shuttles run hourly until 90 minutes after closing, and reservations are required. The Studios lots are about 4.5 to 6 miles by road, depending on which way you leave Hotel Plaza Boulevard.

  • Why stay: Early Entry, a walk to Disney Springs and simple courtyard rooms.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Reserve the hourly shuttle or drive about 15 minutes.
  • Good to know: The shared FAQ, written for the Wyndham tower, lists a $36 + tax nightly resort fee and $30 + tax self-parking; confirm the Garden’s charges when you book. The same FAQ sets the check-in age at 18.

Best for: Families who want Early Entry and Disney Springs nearby with moderate add-on fees.

How to choose your Hollywood Studios hotel

If Early Entry at Galaxy’s Edge is your priority

Both Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge rides, Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, are on Disney’s planned Early Entry list for Hollywood Studios, along with Slinky Dog Dash. From the Swan complex you can walk to the gate. Off-site, check that your hotel is on Disney’s list (see our list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry) and that its first shuttle leaves early enough.

If you’re driving

Standard theme park parking is $35 a day including tax at the time of writing, and courtesy trams run from the lots to the entrance. From Bonnet Creek, the drive takes about 15 minutes.

If you also want EPCOT

The Swan and Dolphin walkways and FriendShip boats serve both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, and the Skyliner links the Studios with EPCOT’s International Gateway. That makes the Swan complex and BoardWalk-area resorts easy two-park bases. Our Swan vs Dolphin vs Swan Reserve guide explains the differences between the three Marriott Bonvoy hotels.

If budget comes first

Add-on fees change the total: the Swan complex lists a $50 daily resort package plus parking, while the Drury charges no resort fee and includes breakfast. For more options, see our guide to the best hotels near Disney World.

Frequently asked questions

What hotel is closest to Hollywood Studios?

Among hotels you can book on Booking.com, the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve are the closest. Walkways lead to the Studios entrance, about a mile on foot, and FriendShip boats run about every 20 to 25 minutes in good weather. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and BoardWalk Villas are also within walking distance, but you book them through Disney.

Can you walk to Hollywood Studios from a hotel?

Yes. Disney says its BoardWalk Inn and Villas are within walking distance of Hollywood Studios and EPCOT, and the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve describe walkways to both parks. OpenStreetMap’s walking routes put the trip at roughly 1 to 1.1 miles, or 20 to 25 minutes. Bonnet Creek and Disney Springs area hotels are too far to walk.

Which hotels have the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios?

Disney’s Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and Art of Animation resorts have Skyliner stations on the network that links Hollywood Studios and EPCOT’s International Gateway. All four are Disney-owned. The Skyliner opens an hour before Early Entry at EPCOT or the Studios and closes 90 minutes after they close. Disney plans to close it from January 24 to 30, 2027.

Do off-site hotels get Early Entry at Hollywood Studios?

Some do. Disney’s list of other select hotels includes the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve, Signia, Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons and the Disney Springs area hotels, among them both Hiltons, the Drury Plaza and the two Wyndhams. The Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek is not on it. You need valid park admission, and the Disney Springs area hotels say you also need a linked MagicMobile pass or the hotel’s Early Entry voucher.

How much is parking at Hollywood Studios?

Disney lists standard parking at $35 a day and preferred parking at $50, $55 or $60, depending on the date, with tax included. Disney notes that paying doesn’t guarantee a space if you leave and return, or switch parks, later that day. Standard parking is included for Disney Resort hotel guests and for Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve guests. Other visitors pay at the gate.

Bottom line

For the shortest trip to Hollywood Studios, book the Swan, Dolphin or Swan Reserve and walk or ride the boat. If a lazy river or lower fees matter more, Signia, the Wyndham Grand and the Disney Springs area hotels are about 15 minutes away by road, and all but the Wyndham Grand keep Early Entry. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
