Orlando World Center Marriott is a 2,010-room resort on World Center Drive, about 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World by the hotel’s own count, with two pool areas, seven waterslides, a 575-foot lazy river, an 18-hole golf course and a full-service spa. A scheduled shuttle to all four Disney theme parks and Disney Springs is covered by the daily resort fee.
The resort turned 40 in 2026, and its redesigned rooms now have hard-surface floors and walk-in showers. The trade-offs: it isn’t on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list, the resort fee and parking add up every night, and with more than 2,000 rooms you should expect long walks and busy pools.
Quick answer: Book Orlando World Center Marriott if you want a big resort pool scene (a water park with lazy river and slides), golf, Marriott Bonvoy points and an included Disney shuttle. Skip it if you want Disney’s Early Entry perk, a walk to Disney Springs, free parking or a quiet, low-key hotel.

Rooms and suites at Orlando World Center Marriott
Most rooms are 425 sq ft (38 sq m), with either one king or two queens, a mini-fridge and a coffee and tea maker, and sleep up to four. Rooms are sold by view: standard, Laser Show Pool View and Water Park view (over the River Falls slide tower). Marriott’s listing shows a balcony for all three. The hotel also markets some suites with distant Disney fireworks views, but views depend on the room and floor.

Families of five should look at the Promenade Large Guest Room, the two-queen Fairway Suite or the Family Bunk Bed Suite, all listed for up to 5. The hotel has 121 suites in 10 variations; the newer Family Bunk Bed Suite adds a living and dining area, a kitchen setup with a full-size fridge and two balconies.
| Room type | Size | Beds | Sleeps up to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard / pool view / water park view | 425 sq ft | 1 king or 2 queens | 4 |
| Promenade Large Guest Room | 477 sq ft | 2 queens + sofa bed | 5 |
| Executive Suite (pool view) | 550 sq ft | 1 king + sofa bed | 4 |
| Fairway Suite | 680 sq ft | 1 king or 2 queens + sofa bed | 4 to 5 |
| Family Bunk Bed Suite | 1,200 sq ft | 1 king, bunk beds + sofa bed | 5 |
| Governor 2-Bedroom Suite | 2,254 sq ft | 1 king, 2 queens + sofa bed | 8 |

Sizes and occupancy come from Marriott’s room listings at last check. At the time of writing, the hotel also offers a package with two guaranteed connecting rooms, often a better fit than a suite for families with older kids.
Pools, water park and recreation
The pools are the main draw, with two separate heated areas included for hotel guests.
- Falls Pool Oasis: A zero-entry, 400,000-gallon lagoon pool with sun shelves, a slide tower with a 90-foot speed slide and two 200-foot twisting slides, and a kids’ splash zone that’s 11 inches deep with a small slide and bubblers. Open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at last check.
- River Falls Waterpark: A 575-foot lazy river entered from a zero-entry pool, plus a tower with three tube slides for one or two riders: Boomerango (425 feet), Aquasphere (498 feet) and Tail Spin (525 feet). Open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at last check, with extended hours in summer.
- Rules to know: Riders must be at least 48 inches tall (barefoot) for the six Falls Pool and River Falls slides; younger kids get the small slide in the splash zone. Children under 12 should be with an adult in the lazy river.
- Cabanas: 15 rentable cabanas for up to 8 people, with a TV, safe, water and towels, bookable before arrival.

Each night brings a 10-minute laser light show over the Falls Lagoon Pool. The recreation team runs poolside games, crafts, dive-in movies and mermaid and glow parties on select dates, and there’s mini golf, lawn games and a game room.
If the pool deck is your top priority, compare it with the other resorts in our guide to Orlando hotels with lazy rivers.

The resort lists eight restaurants and bars on its dining page (it counts 10 food and drink outlets in total). Breakfast isn’t part of standard rates, but the hotel sells a breakfast package for two adults and two kids up to age 12.

Parking and resort fee
Two daily charges apply on top of your room rate. Figures are what the hotel listed at last check and can change.
| Charge | Amount at last check | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Resort fee | $47 per room, per night | Plus tax; mandatory |
| Self-parking | $40 per day | Plus tax; garage clearance 7 ft 4 in |
| Valet parking | $61 per day | Plus tax |
| Rollaway bed | $25 per night | Only in room types that allow one |
The resort fee covers the daily scheduled shuttle to the Disney parks and the nightly shuttle to Disney Springs (each for up to four guests), daily River Falls Waterpark admission for up to four guests, and enhanced in-room Wi-Fi for up to six devices, per Marriott’s resort fee page at last check. Golf isn’t included.
With a car, resort fee plus self-parking came to $87 a night before tax at last check. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book, so compare totals, not nightly rates.

Transport to the parks
The hotel runs a scheduled daily shuttle to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, plus a nightly shuttle to Disney Springs, included in the resort fee for up to four guests per room. You reserve seats with your confirmation number up to three days before the day you travel. Departures are scheduled, not continuous, so check the timetable and reserve early.
This hotel isn’t on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list. If entering 30 minutes early matters, see our list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry. Driving yourself means paying Disney’s park parking fee on top of the hotel’s.
Marriott’s pages list no shuttle to Universal, SeaWorld or the airport. For arrival options, see our guide to getting from Orlando Airport to Disney World; they work for this hotel too.
Spa, golf, fitness and Wi-Fi
- Golf: Hawk’s Landing Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-70 course of about 6,255 yards designed by Robert Cupp, with water on 15 holes. Tee times run 7 a.m. to dusk, with a driving range, rentals and lessons from the Orlando Golf Academy. Golf isn’t covered by the resort fee.
- Spa: Massages, facials, scrubs, manicures and pedicures, plus steam rooms. Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at last check, by appointment.
- Fitness: A 24-hour fitness center with cardio machines, weights and locker rooms, plus fitness classes on select days.
- Wi-Fi: Standard Wi-Fi is free for Marriott Bonvoy members who book direct, and the resort fee adds enhanced Wi-Fi for up to six devices.
- Kids: Marriott lists children’s recreation, a game room and a kids’ splash zone, but no supervised kids club.

Who it suits
It fits families who want pool days between park days, plus golfers, Marriott Bonvoy members and multigenerational groups who need connecting rooms or a suite for up to eight.
It suits you less if you’ll be in the parks from opening to fireworks every day: you’d pay the resort fee for amenities you barely use. Compare options in our guide to the best hotels near Disney World.
Pros
- Two heated pool areas with seven waterslides, a 575-foot lazy river and a shallow kids’ zone.
- Included scheduled shuttle to all four Disney parks and Disney Springs.
- 18-hole championship golf course, spa and 24-hour gym on site.
- Wide choice of room types, from 425 sq ft rooms to bunk bed suites and a 2-bedroom suite for 8.
Limitations to know
- Not on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list.
- Mandatory resort fee plus paid parking add up quickly on longer stays.
- Breakfast costs extra, and there’s nothing to walk to off property.
- No hotel shuttle to Universal, SeaWorld or the airport is listed.
- The six big slides have a 48-inch height minimum, so small kids stick to the pools, the splash zone’s small slide and the lazy river.
- A very large convention resort, so expect crowds at busy times.
What to check before you book
- Room type and occupancy: Most rooms sleep 4. If you’re 5, book a room or suite that lists 5 rather than relying on a rollaway.
- View: Laser Show Pool View and Water Park view are separate room types; a standard room doesn’t promise any particular view.
- Shuttle schedule: Ask for current Disney shuttle times and reserve seats as soon as booking opens, three days ahead.
- Cancellation: The hotel’s guest information page said standard reservations can be cancelled up to 5 days before arrival and prepaid rates are non-refundable. Third-party rates, including Booking.com, may have different terms.
- Policies: Check-in is 4 p.m., check-out 11 a.m., the minimum check-in age is 18, pets aren’t allowed (service animals are welcome), and the resort is cashless.
Nearby alternatives

- JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek: Another Marriott resort, tucked inside the Bonnet Creek enclave closer to the Disney parks, with a calmer pool setup and no lazy river listed.
- Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek: A lazy-river resort that does have Disney Early Theme Park Entry.

Frequently asked questions
Does Orlando World Center Marriott have a shuttle to Disney?
Yes. The resort runs a scheduled daily shuttle to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, plus a nightly Disney Springs shuttle, covered by the resort fee for up to four guests per room. You reserve seats with your hotel confirmation number up to three days before you travel. It runs on a timetable, so ask for current departure times.
How much is the resort fee at Orlando World Center Marriott?
At last check, the resort fee was $47 per room per night plus tax. It covers the scheduled Disney parks shuttle and the nightly Disney Springs shuttle, daily River Falls Waterpark admission for up to four guests, and enhanced in-room Wi-Fi for up to six devices. The hotel says the amount and inclusions can change, so confirm when you book.
Is River Falls Waterpark free for hotel guests?
Yes, in the sense that daily admission for up to four guests per room is included in the resort fee, so there’s no separate ticket. The water park has a 575-foot lazy river and three tube slides with a 48-inch height minimum. Cabanas and premium seating cost extra and can be reserved before you arrive.
How much is parking at Orlando World Center Marriott?
At last check, self-parking was $40 per day and valet was $61 per day, both plus tax. The garage has a 7-foot-4-inch clearance, so check before arriving with a tall van or roof box. Parking is charged on top of the resort fee, and you’ll also pay Disney’s parking fee if you drive to the parks.
Does Orlando World Center Marriott get Disney Early Theme Park Entry?
No. Disney’s list of non-Disney hotels whose guests get 30 minutes of early entry did not include Orlando World Center Marriott when we checked. Guests use the hotel’s Disney shuttle or drive. If early entry matters to you, consider several Disney Springs-area hotels, Bonnet Creek resorts like Signia, or a Disney-owned resort.
Is breakfast included at Orlando World Center Marriott?
Not with standard rates. Breakfast is sold at Latitude & Longitude, Central Pantry and Starbucks on property, and room service is available. The hotel also offers a breakfast package that covers two adults and two children up to age 12 each night, which can make sense if you plan to eat on site every morning.
Bottom line
Orlando World Center Marriott is a full-scale resort near Disney with one of the area’s strongest pool setups, a real golf course and an included Disney shuttle. Budget for the resort fee, parking and breakfast, and don’t expect Early Entry. If you’ll use the pools and grounds, it’s a strong all-in-one base for a Disney vacation.
