Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center is an all-suite Marriott hotel just outside Walt Disney World’s western entrance where every suite has a full kitchen, breakfast is free and the largest two-bedroom suites sleep six. It sits at 2111 Flagler Avenue, off State Road 429, and Marriott calls it a Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel: a free scheduled shuttle to select Disney parks and Disney tickets sold through the hotel, but none of the perks of a Disney-owned resort.
Below: suite sizes, breakfast, fees, the shuttle operator’s timetable and road distances to each park, checked on Marriott’s pages, the hotel’s Booking.com listing and the operator’s booking system in October 2026.
Quick answer: Book Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings if you want a kitchen suite for two to six people, free hot breakfast, a heated resort-style pool, $20 parking and no resort fee, and you will drive or take the fixed-time free shuttle to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios or the Magic Kingdom area. Skip it if you want Early Theme Park Entry, Disney buses at the door, a waterslide or a short hop to Universal.

Location and distances from Flamingo Crossings
Flamingo Crossings Town Center calls itself a master-planned, mixed-use development at the western gateway to Walt Disney World Resort: a new district of six hotels, a Target and chain restaurants on the edge of Disney property. The address says Winter Garden, and Marriott’s figures, “less than a mile” and “10 minutes to the Western entrance”, describe the gate, not the parking lots.
Our road routes (OSRM, no traffic) end at each park’s guest parking or toll plaza; return legs via Disney’s one-way exits can run about a mile longer.
| Destination | By road | Drive, no traffic |
|---|---|---|
| Animal Kingdom guest parking | About 5 mi | 11 to 13 min |
| EPCOT toll plaza / main lot | About 6 / 7 mi | 13 to 17 min |
| Magic Kingdom (TTC lot) | About 7.5 mi | About 15 min |
| Hollywood Studios toll plaza | About 7.5 mi | About 20 min |
| ESPN Wide World of Sports | About 7 mi | About 16 min |
| Disney Springs (Lime garage) | About 7.5 to 8 mi | About 16 min |
| Universal (garage toll plaza) | About 17 mi | About 30 min |
| Epic Universe toll plaza | About 16 mi | About 30 min |
| Orlando airport (MCO) | About 26 mi | About 42 min |
Animal Kingdom is the easy morning: Western Way, Buena Vista Drive and Osceola Parkway reach its guest parking in about 11 minutes, which is why this hotel appears in our guide to hotels near Animal Kingdom. The airport is about 26 road miles, close to Marriott’s own 26.8.
On foot, the Town Center is the real perk: our walking route to Target is about 0.35 miles, roughly seven minutes, and the restaurants along Hartzog Road are under half a mile. The directory (October 2026) lists Target, a 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Five Guys, Gyu Kaku Japanese BBQ and an AdventHealth ER among others.
Rooms: studios, one- and two-bedroom suites with full kitchens
Every room is a suite with a kitchen: Marriott lists a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, cookware and dishes in every type, plus a stovetop and coffee maker, a 55-inch TV with streaming, a desk, a sofa and free Wi-Fi. Its layouts, with sizes it calls approximate:
| Suite | Beds and baths | Size | Sleeps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio King Suite (also pool view) | 1 king, sofa, 1 bath | 440 sq ft | 2 |
| One-Bedroom King Suite | 1 king, separate living room | 570 sq ft | 2 |
| One-Bedroom Queen Suite (also pool view) | 2 queens, separate living room | 600 sq ft | 4 |
| Two-Bedroom Suite, king + queen | 2 bedrooms, 2 baths | 870 sq ft | 4 |
| Two-Bedroom Suite, king + 2 queens | 2 bedrooms, 2 baths | 990 sq ft | 6 |

For five or six people you need the larger two-bedroom suite: a king in one bedroom, two queens in the other, two bathrooms and a living room with the kitchen bar between them. Marriott lists a sofa, not a sofa bed, so a studio sleeps two, and rollaway beds are not permitted; cribs are allowed in most suite types, free on request per Booking.com.
Booking.com showed studios and one-bedroom suites for the sample stays we checked from November 2026 to February 2027 but no two-bedroom suite, and it lists the smaller two-bedroom layout as king plus king where Marriott says king plus queen. If a two-bedroom suite is the point of the trip, check both Booking.com and the hotel, or compare our guide to 2- and 3-bedroom suites near Disney World.

Pool-view versions of the king studio and two-queen one-bedroom suite look over the pool deck (Marriott’s data says no cribs in those two). Marriott lists mobility- and hearing-accessible rooms in the studio and two-queen one-bedroom layouts only.
Pool, sports courts and recreation

The outdoor resort-style pool sits in the courtyard with fountain jets, loungers, umbrellas and a shaded pavilion. Marriott’s experiences page lists it as heated and open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily (checked October 2026). A depth marker on the deck reads 4 ft 6 in, and there is no slide.
Beside the deck are a gas fire pit, a grill and picnic area (Booking.com lists BBQ facilities and an outdoor fireplace) and Marriott’s backyard multi-sport courts: a basketball court, batting cages and a soccer field, free, with reservations encouraged at the front desk.
Free breakfast, Featherstones and the 24/7 market

Breakfast is a free hot buffet from 6:30 to 10 a.m. daily, with scrambled eggs and bacon on Marriott’s dining page and Mickey Mouse waffles on its rooms page, early enough for the 7:40 a.m. bus. The page’s FAQ confirms complimentary breakfast for hotel guests, though a template line adds that breakfast is “also available” at the buffet “for a fee”, so check that your rate shows breakfast included.
Featherstones Poolside Bar & Grill serves casual American food and frozen drinks outdoors, 4 to 10:30 p.m. daily per Marriott (Booking.com says lunch and dinner, so check before planning a poolside lunch). The Lobby Bar pours cocktails 4 to 10:30 p.m., the 24/7 market sells salads, drinks and snacks, and there is no room service.
Parking, resort fee and policies
- Parking: self-parking is $20 a day on Marriott’s page (November 2025 capture) and in Booking.com’s facilities list (October 2026), which says a reservation is needed. Marriott lists EV charging and no valet.
- Resort fee: none. Booking.com’s breakdown for a three-night November 2026 stay showed the room rate plus a 12.50% tax line and nothing else, and Marriott lists no amenity fee. That 12.5% is Orange County’s standard hotel tax rate.
- Pets: Marriott’s page allowed up to two dogs per suite for a $150 non-refundable fee per stay (November 2025 capture); Booking.com says “Pets are allowed. Charges may apply.” Confirm the current fee.
- Check-in and age: check-in 4 p.m., check-out 11 a.m., minimum age 21 on both Marriott’s and Booking.com’s pages; photo ID and a credit card are required, cash is not accepted, and the property is smoke-free.
- Marriott Bonvoy: points and member rates (and, per Marriott’s overview, free in-room internet) apply to direct Marriott bookings only, not to a Booking.com reservation.
Getting to the Disney parks: shuttle times and driving
Marriott’s overview (November 2025 capture) describes a “complimentary shuttle to select theme parks”, reserved from 48 hours before departure, with limited seats and times that may vary; it posts no timetable. The booking system of Firefighters All Services, the Kissimmee shuttle company that lists Residence Inn at Flamingo Crossings as a pickup point, showed the same free runs (“Rate: $0.00”) for every sample date we checked from October to December 2026 (last checked October 16):
| Stop | Leaves hotel | Returns from park |
|---|---|---|
| Animal Kingdom | 7:40 a.m. | 5:45 p.m. |
| Hollywood Studios | 10:20 a.m. | 5:15 and 10:15 p.m. |
| Magic Kingdom / TTC (monorail to EPCOT) | 7:40 and 10:20 a.m. | 5:30 and 10:30 p.m. |
The bus picks up at the Residence Inn itself. Town Center pickups are staggered (SpringHill 7:25, Homewood and Home2 7:30, Fairfield 7:35 a.m.), so it appears to be the last stop. There is no direct EPCOT, Disney Springs, water park or Universal run; for EPCOT, ride to the TTC and take the monorail. Booking.com’s facilities list marks the shuttle as an additional charge while Marriott and the operator show it free, so ask the desk how to book and whether anything is charged.
A car gives you far more freedom. Disney charges $35 a day for standard theme park parking, tax included and valid at all four parks that day (preferred $50 to $60); Disney Springs parking is free.
Residence Inn is not among the 15 non-Disney hotels on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list (continuing through 2027), and Lightning Lane passes open 3 days ahead rather than the 7 days Disney gives its own resort guests and a few select hotels on its property. A Gateway Hotel gets a shuttle and ticket sales, not resort perks; our guide explains how Gateway hotels differ from Good Neighbor hotels.
There is no shuttle to Universal or Epic Universe, about 16 to 17 miles away, and no airport shuttle. Marriott’s page listed a scheduled Mears shuttle at $27 one way (November 2025 capture), but Mears Connect’s own hotel list in October 2026 covers Disney Resort hotels, the Disney Springs area and a few others, not Flamingo Crossings, so plan on a rental car or rideshare via the SR 417 toll road.
Amenities: fitness, laundry, Wi-Fi and family extras

The 24/7 fitness center has cardio machines, free weights and weight machines, and there is a 24-hour business center. Marriott lists on-site laundry without a price, while Booking.com lists laundry as an additional charge, so ask before you plan on it. Wi-Fi is free on Booking.com’s listing, the lobby has a fireplace lounge, a 24-hour front desk and an ATM, and Marriott lists a grocery shopping service and meeting space.
Families also get a free crib on request and Disney tickets through the hotel’s link; there is no kids’ club, spa or waterslide.
Who Residence Inn Flamingo Crossings suits
It works best for families of four to six who want separate bedrooms, a real kitchen and a resort-style pool close to Animal Kingdom, and for longer stays where free breakfast and a kitchen save money; it leads our Orlando hotels with kitchens guide for a reason.
It suits you less if you want Disney transportation at the door, Early Entry, nightlife within walking distance, a slide pool or several Universal days.
Pros
- Every suite has a full kitchen with a dishwasher, and the largest two-bedroom suites sleep six with two bathrooms.
- Free hot breakfast every day from 6:30 a.m., early enough for the first shuttle.
- Resort-style pool with a fire pit deck, grill and multi-sport courts.
- No resort fee, confirmed on Booking.com’s price breakdown, and parking is $20 a day.
- Free scheduled Disney shuttle to Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and the TTC, boarded at the hotel.
- Target and restaurants within walking distance; dogs allowed.
Limitations to know
- No Early Theme Park Entry and only the 3-day Lightning Lane window.
- Shuttle runs are few and fixed: one Animal Kingdom departure, no direct EPCOT, Disney Springs or Universal service.
- About 7 to 8 miles from EPCOT’s lot, the Magic Kingdom TTC, Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs; Universal is about 17 miles.
- Two-bedroom suites did not show on Booking.com for any of our sample dates.
- Marriott and Booking.com disagree on whether the shuttle is free, Booking.com lists laundry as extra, and Bonvoy perks need a direct booking.
What to check before you book
- The suite type: six people need the two-bedroom suite with a king and two queens; studios sleep two, one-bedroom suites two or four, no rollaways.
- The shuttle: ask for the current timetable, how to reserve and whether any charge applies, especially for the 7:40 a.m. Animal Kingdom run.
- Breakfast: free on Marriott’s dining page and included in every Booking.com rate we saw, but a stray FAQ line mentions “a fee”; make sure your rate includes it.
- Your total price: look for any daily charge in the rate details and add $20 a night for parking.
- Pets and the pool: confirm the dog fee, and ask whether the pool is open on your dates (Marriott lists 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.).

Frequently asked questions
Does Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings have a free Disney shuttle?
Yes. Marriott describes a complimentary shuttle to select theme parks, reserved from 48 hours ahead. From October to December 2026 the operator’s booking system showed free runs to Animal Kingdom at 7:40 a.m., Hollywood Studios at 10:20 a.m. and the Magic Kingdom TTC at 7:40 and 10:20 a.m. Booking.com’s facilities list says the shuttle costs extra, so confirm at the desk.
Does Residence Inn Flamingo Crossings charge a resort fee or for parking?
There is no resort fee: Booking.com’s breakdown for a three-night November stay showed the room rate plus 12.5% tax and nothing else, and Marriott lists no amenity fee. Self-parking is $20 a day on both Marriott’s page and Booking.com’s facilities list, with EV charging on site. Check the final total at checkout.
How far is Residence Inn Flamingo Crossings from the Disney parks?
By road it is about 5 miles to Animal Kingdom’s guest parking, roughly 11 to 13 minutes without traffic. EPCOT’s main lot is about 7 miles, the Magic Kingdom TTC lot and Hollywood Studios about 7.5 miles each, and Disney Springs about 8 miles. Marriott’s “less than a mile” measures the distance to Disney’s western entrance, not to a park.
How many people can stay in a suite at Residence Inn Flamingo Crossings?
Up to six, in the two-bedroom suite with a king bed, two queens, two bathrooms and a living room, about 990 square feet per Marriott. The smaller two-bedroom suite (king plus queen) and the two-queen one-bedroom suite sleep four; studios and king one-bedroom suites sleep two. Rollaway beds are not permitted, and every suite has a full kitchen.
Is breakfast free at Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings?
Marriott’s dining page lists a complimentary hot breakfast buffet from 6:30 to 10 a.m. daily, with scrambled eggs and bacon, and Booking.com’s rates showed breakfast included for our sample dates. The page’s FAQ confirms it is complimentary, although one template line mentions breakfast “for a fee”, so check that your rate includes it before you book.
Is Residence Inn Flamingo Crossings pet friendly?
Yes, for dogs. Marriott’s overview page allowed up to two dogs per suite for a non-refundable fee of $150 per stay (November 2025 capture), and Booking.com confirms pets are allowed with charges that may apply. Tell the hotel when you book and confirm the current fee, which is per stay rather than per night.
Bottom line
Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings is the most complete family stay on Disney’s west side: a full kitchen in every suite, two-bedroom suites with two bathrooms for six, free hot breakfast, a heated resort-style pool, $20 parking, no resort fee and a free, if limited, Disney shuttle. Pick a Disney Springs area hotel instead if Early Entry or evening flexibility matters more. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
