Signia vs Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek is a choice between two upscale neighbors in the private Bonnet Creek enclave next to Walt Disney World. Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek has Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry, a frequent motorcoach and a 3-acre lazy river. Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek has bigger standard rooms, bunk-bed family rooms and lower daily fees, but no Early Entry.

Everything below was checked on the hotels’, Disney’s and the shuttles’ own pages on October 28, 2026. Confirm fees and schedules before you book.

Quick answer: Book Signia if you want 30-minute Early Entry every day, a shuttle with many departures and free dinners for kids 12 and under. Book the Wyndham Grand if you will drive, want a 420-square-foot room or a bunk room for up to six, and want to pay $12 less per night in resort fee and self-parking. The drive to each Disney park is almost the same.

Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek: Early Entry and the big pool

Signia, the former Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, is the largest hotel in the enclave: 1,009 rooms and suites in one tower above a lagoon-style pool, a 3-acre lazy river, a waterslide and private cabanas. It shares its motorcoach with the Waldorf Astoria Orlando next door, and its guests can use the Waldorf’s golf club, spa and kids club.

Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek: more room for less

The Wyndham Grand is a 400-room tower on a 10-acre lake, next to the Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek timeshare resort. It has its own heated Oasis Pool, and the resort fee adds the Club Wyndham pools, lazy rivers and splash pad. It is a Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel, which means a scheduled Disney shuttle and Disney tickets sold on site, but it is not an Early Entry hotel.

Disney perks: Early Entry is the biggest difference

Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry page lists Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek among its “Other Select Hotels.” Signia guests can enter any Disney theme park 30 minutes before official opening, every day of the stay. You still need valid park admission, and Disney says the benefit will continue through 2027.

The Wyndham Grand is not on that list. If rope drop matters to you, this perk alone can decide your choice. See every non-Disney hotel with Early Theme Park Entry.

Some things are the same at both hotels:

  • Lightning Lane: guests of both can buy passes up to 3 days before their park day. Neither hotel is on Disney’s 7-day list.
  • Extended Evening Hours: neither hotel qualifies.
  • Park parking: neither includes it. Disney’s standard theme park parking was $35 a day at last check, and Disney Springs parking is free.

Disney shuttle: frequent motorcoach vs a fixed bus schedule

Signia’s resort charge covers a private motorcoach, shared with the Waldorf Astoria, to the four Disney theme parks and Disney Springs. Its daily timetable on bonnetshuttle.com comes from Mears’ schedule system.

The Wyndham Grand’s resort fee covers its own shuttle to the same five places. Seats are first come, first served, and you must show your room key. Its posted timetable covers September 28 to October 31, 2026; the hotel hands out a current one at check-in.

Here is the same sample day, Thursday, October 29, 2026, from each posted schedule:

ParkSignia departuresWyndham Grand departures

Both Magic Kingdom buses stop at the Transportation and Ticket Center, so add a monorail or ferry ride. October 29 is a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party night, and both hotels’ last Magic Kingdom returns that day are at or before 7 p.m. On other dates in its timetable, the Wyndham Grand lists returns at 8:15 and 10:45 p.m., and Signia’s schedule for Wednesday, November 4, 2026 runs Magic Kingdom buses until 8:30 p.m., with the last ride back at 10:50 p.m.

The Wyndham Grand’s schedule suits a full park day, not a midday break: its last buses to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom leave before 1:30 p.m. Neither hotel runs a shuttle to Universal, SeaWorld or the airport.

Distance to the parks: almost a tie

These are road distances from OSRM routing (checked October 28, 2026) to each park’s guest parking on public roads, rounded. Return trips can run up to about 1 mile longer. Shorter routes use Disney’s private backstage roads, which guests cannot drive.

Most drives are about 0.3 mile shorter from the Wyndham Grand. The hotels’ own lists look like straight-line figures: Signia says EPCOT is 2 miles away and the Wyndham Grand says 1.5 miles.

Rooms and occupancy: 351 vs 420 square feet

This is the Wyndham Grand’s clearest win. Wyndham’s brand page lists its Deluxe rooms at 420 square feet, with one king bed and a sleeper sofa or two queen beds. Deluxe rooms face the resort entrance; Lake View rooms face the pools, the lake and, per the hotel, the nightly fireworks.

Family Bunk rooms add bunk beds to a king or two-queen room. Wyndham’s pages disagree on occupancy. The brand page allows 4 in a Deluxe room and 6 in a Family Bunk king room. The hotel’s FAQ allows 3 in a king room, 4 in a two-queen room, 5 in a Family Bunk king room and 6 in a Family Bunk two-queen room. For six people, book the Family Bunk room with two queen beds.

Signia’s Deluxe rooms are 351 square feet, with a sitting area, a desk and a mini-fridge. They are sold as a standard Deluxe room or by view: Pool View, Disney View or High Floor. Their pages list no maximum occupancy, so larger families should look at the suites.

Pools and lazy rivers

The pool area is Signia’s headline feature: a zero-entry, lagoon-style pool where small children can wade, a 3-acre lazy river and a waterslide. The slide runs on a limited schedule between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Riders must be at least 40 inches tall, and anyone under 48 inches must wear a life jacket.

Signia’s pool page lists 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Free tubes are first come, first served (up to four per room), and the hotel heats its pools when the weather turns cool.

The Wyndham Grand’s heated Oasis Pool has a pool concierge and hot tubs; its FAQ lists closing at 10 p.m. in one answer and 11 p.m. in another. The hotel counts five pools and two lazy rivers in all, most of them next door at Club Wyndham, plus a splash pad.

There is a catch this winter. On October 28, 2026, Club Wyndham’s resort alert listed the Tower 5 pool and lazy river as closed for exterior renovations from September 12, 2026 to April 1, 2027 (dates subject to change). Wyndham’s hotel booking site still says December 1, 2026, so ask which date applies. While Tower 5 is closed, expect one lazy river instead of two. Only Club Wyndham tube floats are allowed in its lazy river, and chairs cannot be saved.

If the lazy river matters most, Signia is the safer pick before April 2027. Compare more Orlando hotels with lazy rivers, and see our Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek review for the pools next door.

Dining and kids’ meals

Breakfast is not included in standard rates at either hotel. Signia has La Luce (Italian, daily 6 to 10 p.m.), Zeta Asia, the Harvest Bistro breakfast buffet, MYTH Bar, the MUSE coffee bar and Beech by the pool, and its guests can book the Waldorf’s restaurants. The Wyndham Grand has the Tesoro Cove buffet, deep blu Seafood Grille, Bar 1521 with sushi, Back Bay Pool Bar & Grill, The Barista and Grand Eats in-room delivery. Its homepage and FAQ disagree on which nights deep blu opens.

  • Signia: the resort charge includes a free kids’-menu dinner for children 12 and under at La Luce or Harvest Bistro, one per adult entrée, subject to operating hours. Children 5 and under also eat a free breakfast at Harvest Bistro with an adult entrée.
  • Wyndham Grand: the Tesoro Cove buffet costs $27 for adults and $17 for children 6 to 10, plus an 18% service charge and tax. Children 5 and under eat free, one per paying adult, as a limited-time offer.

For two adults and two children aged 6 to 10, the Wyndham Grand buffet is $88 before the service charge and tax. Signia’s site does not publish its buffet price.

Resort fees, parking and the real nightly add-on

Both fees are mandatory and are charged on top of the room rate. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.

ChargeSigniaWyndham Grand
Resort fee$50 + tax per night$42 + tax per day
Self-parking$40 + tax per day$36 + tax per day
Valet parking$60 + tax per day$42 + tax per day
Incidental hold$150 per night$100 per night
Pets2 dogs, 40 lb combined; $75 (1 to 2 nights) or $125 (3+)Pages disagree (see below)

Here is the arithmetic with one car, before tax and before the room rate:

  • Self-parking: Signia $50 + $40 = $90 a night; Wyndham Grand $42 + $36 = $78. That is $12 a night, or $60 over five nights, in the Wyndham Grand’s favor.
  • Valet: Signia $110 a night; Wyndham Grand $84, a $26 difference.

Signia’s fee covers Wi-Fi, water, the motorcoach, the gym, lazy river tubes, golf practice and the kids’ meal offers. The Wyndham Grand’s covers Wi-Fi, water, the shuttle, the gym, 10% off at Blue Harmony Spa, mini golf and Club Wyndham pool access.

Both hotels advertise direct-booking deals with free parking: Signia’s Park & Stay and $50-resort-credit packages, and the Wyndham Grand’s Florida and Georgia resident rate. Compare them with your Booking.com rate.

Wyndham Grand pets: its policies page allows one pet up to 50 pounds for $75 (1 to 6 nights) or $150 (7 to 14 nights), but another FAQ section allows dogs and cats up to 75 pounds for $75 per stay. Its Booking.com listing gives a third rule: one pet up to 25 pounds, $150 per week. Confirm first. Both hotels require you to be 21 to check in.

Loyalty perks need a direct booking. Wyndham Rewards’ terms name booking.com among the third-party bookings that do not earn points. Hilton’s Honors terms (archived copy of October 21, 2026) say on-property member benefits are not given on third-party website bookings. See our list of Orlando resort fees by hotel.

Golf, spa, kids club and extras

  • Golf: Signia guests can play the 18-hole Waldorf Astoria Golf Club next door, a Rees Jones course. Rounds cost extra; practice facilities and club rentals after 2 p.m. are in the resort charge. The Wyndham Grand includes Club Wyndham mini golf and points guests to Disney’s golf courses.
  • Spa: Signia guests use the Waldorf Astoria Spa, with 15% off retail. The Wyndham Grand has its own Blue Harmony Spa, open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Kids club: Signia lists Waldy’s Kids Club, run by the Waldorf, for ages 5 to 12. A three-hour session with lunch is $50 for one child, or $20 per child per hour without lunch. The Wyndham Grand’s pages list no kids club.
  • Airport: neither hotel has an airport shuttle. The Wyndham Grand estimates $40 to $50 for Uber or Lyft and about $70 for a taxi from MCO; Signia lists a $70 minimum for a Mears taxi.

  • You want lower fixed costs: $78 a night for the resort fee and self-parking, against $90 at Signia, before tax.
  • You prefer valet parking, which costs $18 a day less than at Signia.
  • You want a quieter lakeside base with Club Wyndham’s pools next door.

Frequently asked questions

Is Signia or the Wyndham Grand better for families?

It depends on your plan. Signia suits families who want Early Entry, a frequent park shuttle, the 3-acre lazy river and free kids’ dinners for children 12 and under. The Wyndham Grand suits families who drive, need a Family Bunk room for up to six and want lower daily fees. One of the two Club Wyndham lazy rivers is listed as closed until April 1, 2027.

Does Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek get Disney Early Theme Park Entry?

No. Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry page lists Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and the Waldorf Astoria Orlando, but not the Wyndham Grand. The Wyndham Grand is a Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel, which gives you a scheduled shuttle and on-site ticket sales, not early park access. Check Disney’s page before you book, because the list can change.

Which has the better lazy river, Signia or Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek?

Signia, at the time of writing. Its 3-acre lazy river is part of the hotel’s own pool area, with free tubes and a waterslide. Wyndham Grand guests use the Club Wyndham lazy rivers next door, but Club Wyndham lists the Tower 5 pool and lazy river as closed until April 1, 2027 (Wyndham’s hotel site says December 1, 2026). Ask what is open for your dates.

Which is cheaper, Signia or Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek?

The Wyndham Grand has lower fixed charges: a $42 resort fee and $36 self-parking, plus tax, for $78 a day. Signia charges $50 and $40, plus tax, for $90 a night. The room rate decides the total, and rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book, so compare both on the same dates.

Do Signia and the Wyndham Grand share a Disney shuttle?

No. Signia shares a Mears-scheduled motorcoach with the Waldorf Astoria, and on our sample date it was scheduled 8 to 15 times a day to each destination. The Wyndham Grand runs its own scheduled shuttle with three or four departures per park, and you need your room key to board. Both serve only the four Disney theme parks and Disney Springs.

Bottom line

Signia vs Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek comes down to Early Entry and pools against space and price. Pick Signia for daily Early Entry, a frequent motorcoach, the 3-acre lazy river and free kids’ dinners. Pick the Wyndham Grand for a bigger room or a bunk room, lower fees and a calmer lakeside base, if you can live without early park access.
