Orlando hotels with kitchens let you make breakfast, pack park snacks and skip at least one restaurant bill a day, and the best ones sit a short drive or shuttle ride from Walt Disney World, Universal and SeaWorld. Most are all-suite, extended-stay hotels such as Residence Inn, Staybridge Suites, TownePlace Suites, Element and Hyatt House, plus condo-style resorts like Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake.

The catch is the word “kitchen.” Some hotels mean a stovetop, a full-size fridge and a dishwasher; others mean a microwave and a mini fridge. This guide separates the two, compares eight hotels by park area, and covers grocery delivery and when cooking really saves money.

Traveling with a bigger group? See our guide to 2- and 3-bedroom suites near Disney World for multi-bedroom condos.

Quick answer: For Disney, Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center pairs a full kitchen with free breakfast and a free shuttle to select Disney parks. For the most space plus a washer and dryer in most villas, pick Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort. Near Universal, Hyatt House across from Universal Orlando Resort adds a free Universal shuttle, and on Universal property, Cabana Bay’s Family Suites have a kitchenette. Near SeaWorld, Staybridge Suites and TownePlace Suites both include breakfast with full-kitchen suites.

How we chose: every hotel below describes its cooking facilities on its official website (we flag where only some rooms have them), sits in a main theme park area and can be booked without a timeshare membership. We weighed verified extras that cut food costs, such as free breakfast, markets and grills, plus parking, fees and park transportation. We do not use review scores.

Full kitchen, kitchenette or fridge: what you actually get

Hotel listings use these words loosely, so read the room description first.

Also check that your room type has the kitchen: Hyatt House says many (not all) of its rooms have one, and some smaller units at Orange Lake have a kitchenette instead. Housekeeping can be less frequent, too: Marriott lists it every other day at Element Orlando Universal Blvd. and TownePlace Suites Orlando at SeaWorld at the time of writing.

1. Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center

Fire pit and pool deck at Residence Inn Orlando at Flamingo Crossings Town Center

This all-suite Residence Inn sits at Flamingo Crossings Town Center, by the Walt Disney World western entrance, and Marriott calls it a Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel. Every studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suite has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and cooking utensils, plus a dining area.

The free hot breakfast buffet (6:30 to 10:00 am daily in Marriott’s listing) covers one meal, and a 24-hour market sells salads, drinks and snacks. Nearby at Flamingo Crossings, Home2 Suites and Homewood Suites by Hilton also have in-room kitchens. Our guide to Orlando hotels with free breakfast compares all three.

  • Why stay: a full kitchen plus free breakfast, a heated resort-style pool and a poolside bar and grill.
  • Getting to the parks: free shuttles to select Disney theme parks with limited seats; reservations open 48 hours before departure. A car gives you more flexibility.
  • Good to know: the most recent Marriott listing we could check (late 2025) shows parking at $20 a day and a $150 per-stay fee for dogs (up to 2). Confirm current fees and shuttle times with the hotel.

Best for: Disney trips of a week or more where you want to cook dinner and still get breakfast covered.

2. Sonesta ES Suites Orlando – Lake Buena Vista

Courtyard pool and hot tub at Sonesta ES Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista

Sonesta’s renovated all-suite hotel on Suiteside Drive is about a mile from the Walt Disney World entrance and is a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel. Every one- and two-bedroom suite has a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, utensils, plates and glasses. One-bedroom suites have a king bed and a sofa bed in the living area; two-bedroom suites add a second room with two double beds.

Stocking the kitchen is easy here: Sonesta says a grocery store is steps away in the adjacent plaza, and guests can use free outdoor barbecue grills. Breakfast is not included; The Morning Pour café sells hot sandwiches, baked goods, bagels and Starbucks coffee for an extra charge.

  • Why stay: bedrooms with doors, a full kitchen and groceries within walking distance.
  • Getting to the parks: the hotel’s site points guests to Uber and Lyft rather than a park shuttle, so plan to drive or use rideshare.
  • Good to know: at the time of writing, self-parking is $17 a night, and pets (up to two) cost $75 for stays of up to 7 nights or $150 for longer. Sonesta also advertises discounts on stays of 5 or more nights; check current terms.

Best for: families who will actually cook and want a separate bedroom near Disney Springs.

3. Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort

Pool with a rock waterfall in front of an Exchange building at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort

Orange Lake is a sprawling vacation-ownership resort on US 192 in Kissimmee, about 3 miles from Walt Disney World Resort according to IHG. Units run from studios to three-bedroom villas (430 to 2,475 square feet), and IHG says villas include kitchens or kitchenettes plus washers and dryers; studios share laundry rooms on each floor.

The resort’s one-bedroom villa pages say most villas have an equipped kitchen, a pantry and an enclosed washer and dryer, and two-bedroom villas sleep up to 8. The smaller one-bedroom Clubhouse units in West Village list a kitchenette instead, so read the unit description before you book.

  • Why stay: apartment-size space with laundry, a 1,200-foot lazy river, four pool areas with waterslides, golf and mini golf.
  • Getting to the parks: IHG says there is no complimentary shuttle to local attractions, so you’ll need a car. A resort shuttle with 22 stops runs between the villages every 20 minutes, 8 am to midnight.
  • Good to know: at the time of writing, IHG lists self-parking at no charge but notes a resort fee; the amount isn’t shown there, so check your booking total before you pay. IHG also says pets are not allowed.

Best for: families who want a one- or two-bedroom villa with laundry and plan to drive to the parks.

4. Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort

Colorful umbrellas around the main pool at Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort in Orlando

If you want to stay on Universal property, Cabana Bay’s 920 Family Suites give you a kitchenette. Each 430-square-foot suite sleeps 6 in two queen beds and a pull-out sofa, and Loews lists a kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, small sink and single-cup coffee brewer but no stovetop, so think cereal, sandwiches and leftovers rather than cooked dinners. The Volcano Bay View 2-Bedroom Suites (up to 8) also have a kitchenette.

The resort adds two large pools, a lazy river, a bowling alley and the Bayliner Diner food court. Compare it with Universal’s other value hotels in our guide to the cheapest Universal Orlando hotels, or read our full Cabana Bay Beach Resort guide.

  • Why stay: on-site Universal perks at Universal’s value tier, with room for 6.
  • Getting to the parks: walk to Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure or take the free shuttle buses. Hotel guests get Early Park Admission at the park or parks Universal schedules, which can include Epic Universe (valid park admission required; select attractions).
  • Good to know: at the time of writing, Loews lists self-parking at $26 plus tax per night, and pets are not permitted. Volcano Bay closes for the season from October 26, 2026 and is expected to reopen on or before April 1, 2027; the walking path to the water park is unavailable during that time.

Best for: Universal trips where on-site perks and breakfast in the room matter more than cooking dinner.

5. Hyatt House across from Universal Orlando Resort

Outdoor pool and lounge chairs at Hyatt House across from Universal Orlando Resort

This Universal Partner Hotel on Caravan Court is about three-quarters of a mile from Universal Studios Florida, according to Hyatt. Many of its 168 rooms have a full kitchen and a separate living room, so choose a room type that lists the kitchen when you book.

Two food extras help the budget: a free breakfast (eggs, sausage, waffles or French toast, oatmeal and fruit) and the 24-hour H Market, which Hyatt says stocks snacks and groceries for your room’s kitchen.

  • Why stay: a full kitchen, free breakfast and a grocery market close to Universal’s gates.
  • Getting to the parks: a complimentary shuttle to Universal Orlando Resort. Hyatt describes the hotel as moments from Epic Universe too, so ask whether the shuttle serves it on your dates.
  • Good to know: self-parking and EV charging are available, but Hyatt’s page doesn’t show the nightly parking rate, so confirm it. A room-only booking at a partner hotel doesn’t include Early Park Admission or Universal Express; Early Park Admission comes with Universal vacation packages, so check current package terms if it matters.

Best for: Universal and Epic Universe trips with a full kitchen and breakfast covered.

Exterior, entrance drive and pool area of the Element Orlando Universal Blvd. hotel

Marriott’s Element brand puts a fully equipped kitchen in every studio and one-bedroom suite, and this one sits on Universal Boulevard, steps from ICON Park on International Drive. Breakfast is free: Element’s Rise menu with a cooked-to-order station, whole fruit and granola, served 6:30 to 9:30 am on weekdays and 7:00 to 10:00 am on weekends in Marriott’s listing.

  • Why stay: a kitchen suite and free breakfast in the middle of I-Drive’s restaurants.
  • Getting to the parks: Marriott’s page doesn’t list a theme park shuttle, so drive or use rideshare to Universal and Epic Universe.

7. Staybridge Suites Orlando at SeaWorld

Aerial view of Staybridge Suites Orlando at SeaWorld with its pool and parking lot

This IHG all-suite hotel on Sea Harbor Drive is an Official SeaWorld Hotel, and SeaWorld describes it as adjacent to the park. Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites all have fully equipped kitchens. It also includes a free hot breakfast daily (6:30 to 9:30 am on weekdays, 7:30 to 10:30 am on weekends) and The Social, with free light snacks, beer, wine and other drinks three evenings a week (Monday to Wednesday on IHG’s amenities page).

The Pantry sells snacks anytime, and the courtyard has barbecue grills. See more options in our guide to hotels near SeaWorld Orlando.

  • Why stay: breakfast, a weeknight social hour and a full kitchen add up to the most included food in this guide.
  • Getting to the parks: IHG’s pages disagree at the time of writing: the transportation page says there is no local shuttle, but the FAQ says there is a complimentary one. SeaWorld lists a park shuttle among Official Hotel benefits, subject to schedule and availability, so confirm with the hotel.
  • Good to know: at the time of writing, IHG lists self-parking at $12 a night (one IHG description still says $10) and pets at $75 for 1 to 6 nights or $150 for 7 or more; the pet policy changed recently, so confirm it. Marriott’s TownePlace Suites at 10731 International Drive is another Official SeaWorld Hotel next door to the park, with 188 suites that all have full kitchens. Families can book a bunk-bed Family Suite, and a free hot breakfast runs 6:30 to 9:00 am on weekdays and 7:00 to 9:30 am on weekends in Marriott’s listing.

  • Why stay: a bunk-bed suite with a full kitchen, free breakfast and a splash pad for younger kids.
  • Getting to the parks: Marriott lists a free shuttle to SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove. For Disney, Universal and Epic Universe, plan to drive.

Disney World hotels with kitchens

Disney-owned resorts are not sold on Booking.com; you book them directly with Disney. Three types of Disney rooms have cooking facilities:

  • Disney Vacation Club villas: on DVC’s room pages (Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, for example), Deluxe Studios have a kitchenette with a microwave, small refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker, while one-bedroom villas and larger have a full kitchen with stove, oven, dishwasher and full-size fridge, plus a washer and dryer. Non-members can book villas for cash through Walt Disney World when available.
  • The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort: each cabin sleeps 6 and has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and full-size oven and range, plus a patio deck.
  • Value Family Suites: Art of Animation’s Family Suites sleep 6, with two bathrooms and a kitchenette that includes a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge. All-Star Music’s Family Suites also sleep 6 and have a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge and coffee maker.

Disney Resort guests get Early Theme Park Entry, which none of the hotels above offer, and at the time of writing Disney Resort hotels no longer charge for overnight self-parking.

Grocery delivery and shopping near your hotel

A kitchen only saves money if stocking it is easy. You have three options:

  1. Delivery to the hotel: schedule a grocery app delivery for after check-in (4:00 pm at several hotels here), so you can receive it yourself. If it has to arrive earlier, ask the front desk before your trip whether staff will accept and refrigerate it, because policies vary.
  2. Hotel markets: Residence Inn’s 24-hour market, Hyatt House’s H Market, Staybridge’s Pantry and Element’s Restore market suit top-ups rather than a full shop.
  3. A store run: with a rental car, a supermarket stop between the airport and your hotel is usually the simplest way to stock up. At Sonesta ES Suites, the grocery store is in the plaza next door.

At Disney Resort hotels, Disney’s Mail Services page says grocery deliveries are subject to each resort’s policies and may be limited or unavailable; at the time of writing, a $6 fee is charged for each grocery order brought to your room (lobby pickup is free), and orders that need an age or ID check must be collected from the driver yourself.

Does a hotel kitchen actually save money?

It can, but only if the room rate and extras don’t cancel out the savings. Use this checklist when you compare a kitchen suite with a standard room:

  • Count the meals you will really cook. After a long park day, breakfast and packed snacks are more realistic than a cooked dinner, so plan dinners for arrival night and rest days.
  • Look for breakfast plus a kitchen. Residence Inn, Hyatt House, Element, Staybridge and TownePlace include breakfast, so the kitchen only has to cover snacks and dinner.
  • Add parking and fees to the nightly rate. Parking in this guide ranges from free at Orange Lake (which charges a resort fee) to $26 plus tax a night at Cabana Bay. If you drive to Disney’s parks from an off-site hotel, standard theme park parking is $35 a day at the time of writing.
  • Pack food for the parks. Disney’s FAQ allows outside food and nonalcoholic drinks for your own use if they aren’t in glass (small baby food jars excepted) and don’t require heating, refrigeration or temperature control. Loose or dry ice isn’t allowed in coolers; Disney recommends reusable ice packs. Check Universal’s and SeaWorld’s current food and bag rules before you pack.

How to choose an Orlando hotel with a kitchen

  • Pick the area by your park days. Flamingo Crossings, Lake Buena Vista and US 192 suit Disney; Caravan Court and Universal Boulevard suit Universal and Epic Universe; Sea Harbor Drive and southern International Drive suit SeaWorld.
  • Check transportation honestly. Residence Inn, Cabana Bay, Hyatt House and TownePlace list free park shuttles, and each serves only one resort’s parks (Disney, Universal or SeaWorld). IHG’s pages contradict each other on a Staybridge shuttle, and the others expect you to drive or use rideshare.
  • Traveling with a pet? Five of these hotels list pet fees at the time of writing; Cabana Bay and Orange Lake don’t allow pets, and Hyatt House’s listing showed none. Our guide to pet-friendly hotels in Orlando has more options.

Frequently asked questions

Do any Disney World hotels have kitchens?

Yes. Disney Vacation Club one-bedroom villas and larger have full kitchens with a stove, oven, dishwasher and full-size fridge, and DVC Deluxe Studios have a kitchenette. The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort have a full kitchen and sleep 6, and Art of Animation’s Family Suites have a kitchenette. All of them are booked directly with Disney, not through Booking.com.

What is the difference between a full kitchen and a kitchenette?

A full kitchen has a stovetop (sometimes an oven), a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher and cookware for real meals. A kitchenette usually means a microwave, mini fridge, sink and coffee maker, fine for breakfast, snacks and leftovers. Hotels mix the terms, so check the exact room description.

Can I get groceries delivered to my Orlando hotel?

Often, yes, but policies differ by hotel, so ask the front desk whether staff will accept and refrigerate an order if you are out. Scheduling delivery after check-in avoids the problem. At Disney Resort hotels, a $6 fee applies to each grocery order brought to your room at the time of writing (lobby pickup is free), and orders that need an age or ID check must be collected from the driver yourself.

Which Universal Orlando hotels have kitchens?

On Universal property, kitchenettes (mini fridge, microwave and sink, no stove) come in Cabana Bay’s Family Suites and Volcano Bay View 2-Bedroom Suites and in the two-bedroom suites at Endless Summer’s Dockside Inn and Suites. For a full kitchen with a stovetop and dishwasher, look just off-site: Hyatt House across from Universal Orlando Resort (in many rooms) and Element Orlando Universal Blvd. (in every suite) both include free breakfast.

Do Orlando hotels with kitchens charge resort fees?

Some do. Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort charges a resort fee, while the official pages we checked for the other hotels in this guide did not list one at the time of writing; most of them charge for parking instead. Fees change, so check the final total before you book, and see our list of Orlando hotels with no resort fees.
