Holiday Inn hotels near Disney World range from the one Holiday Inn on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list, a walk from Disney Springs, to Holiday Inn Resorts with bunk-bed suites and a water park, two Holiday Inn Express hotels with free breakfast, a Holiday Inn Club Vacations villa resort and IHG’s suite brands. The names look alike on a booking screen; the shuttles, fees and perks don’t.
We compared 10 IHG hotels within about 10 road miles of a Disney theme park, plus the airport Holiday Inn for your last night, using the hotels’, IHG’s and Disney’s pages (October 2026) and our own road routes. Where a hotel doesn’t publish its resort fee, we checked Booking.com’s price breakdown for sample November and December 2026 stays. IHG One Rewards points and perks apply only to direct IHG bookings.
Quick answer: Book the Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area for Disney perks: it’s the only Holiday Inn with Early Theme Park Entry, Disney Springs is a walk away, and its $39-plus-tax resort fee covers an hourly park shuttle. For more room, look at the Holiday Inn Resort Lake Buena Vista (KidSuites and a Disney and Universal shuttle) or the Suites – Waterpark. Pick a Holiday Inn Express for free breakfast, and Candlewood, Staybridge or Orange Lake for a kitchen.

How we chose these Holiday Inn hotels near Disney World
We kept the IHG hotels that pass four tests:
- Location: within about 10 road miles of a Disney theme park’s parking, by OpenStreetMap routing on public roads.
- Verified amenities: rooms, pools, kitchens and breakfast as the hotel, IHG or Disney state them.
- Value: resort fees (including ones that only show up at checkout), parking and what the fee buys.
- Transport: Disney perks, which parks the shuttle serves and how you book it.
We haven’t stayed at these hotels, and we don’t use ratings or quote room prices. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book. To compare them with Marriott, Hilton and independent hotels, see our best hotels near Disney World guide.
Which Holiday Inn is which?
- Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Resort: a restaurant and IHG’s Kids Eat Free program, which its terms limit to these brands and Holiday Inn Select.
- Holiday Inn Express: free breakfast, but no restaurant at either Disney-area Express, per IHG.
- Holiday Inn Club Vacations: timeshare resorts that also rent villas by the night.
- Candlewood Suites and Staybridge Suites: IHG’s extended-stay brands, with kitchens in the suites.

Booking.com or IHG direct?
IHG’s member terms say stays booked through online travel agencies such as Booking.com don’t earn IHG One Rewards points on the room rate or member benefits. Early Entry is a Disney benefit for registered guests of the listed hotels, and the hotels’ shuttles come with your stay either way. IHG’s Kids Eat Free terms exclude group, travel industry and corporate rates but don’t mention Booking.com, so ask the hotel if it matters.
Comparing points programs? Our Marriott hotels near Disney World and Hilton hotels near Disney World guides run the same checks on Bonvoy and Hilton Honors hotels.
Frequently asked questions
Which Holiday Inn is closest to Disney World?
The Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area, on Hotel Plaza Boulevard inside the Walt Disney World Resort: Disney Springs is a 7-to-10-minute walk, per its FAQ, and EPCOT’s main lot about 5.5 miles by road. For the shortest drive to a theme park, the Suites – Waterpark and the SW Celebration Holiday Inn are each about 4.5 road miles from Hollywood Studios.
Does any Holiday Inn near Disney World have Early Theme Park Entry?
One does. At our October 2026 check, Disney’s list included “Holiday Inn Orlando,” the Disney Springs Area hotel. Its registered guests can enter any Disney theme park 30 minutes early every day of their stay with valid admission, and Disney says the benefit continues through 2027. No other Holiday Inn, Express, Candlewood or Staybridge is on the list.
Do Holiday Inn hotels near Disney World have a free shuttle?
Most have one, but “free” varies. At the Disney Springs, Lake Buena Vista and Waterpark hotels, a mandatory resort fee pays for it. The Express hotels, SW Celebration, Candlewood and Staybridge list complimentary shuttles, though three showed a resort fee on Booking.com. Orange Lake and the airport Holiday Inn have no park shuttle, and the I-Drive Holiday Inn’s pages disagree.
Do kids eat free at Holiday Inn hotels near Disney World?
At participating Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Resort hotels, yes. IHG’s US terms cover kids 11 and under ordering from the kids’ menu in the dine-in restaurant while a registered adult orders a full-priced main, up to four children per family per meal. Room service and group, travel industry and corporate rates are excluded. Express hotels aren’t in the program.
Do I earn IHG One Rewards points if I book on Booking.com?
Not on the room rate. IHG’s member terms award points for stays booked through IHG’s websites and app, customer care, the hotel itself or authorized travel agents, and list online travel agencies such as Booking.com as non-qualifying for points and member benefits. Early Entry and the hotel shuttles still come with your room. If points matter, compare the Booking.com total with IHG’s direct rate.
Which Holiday Inn near Disney World has free breakfast?
The two Holiday Inn Express hotels: Express Start breakfast runs 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Lake Buena Vista and 6:30 to 10 a.m. at S Lake Buena Vista, per IHG. Staybridge Suites Royale Parc also includes a breakfast buffet. The full-service Holiday Inns charge for breakfast, but Kids Eat Free covers children 11 and under at participating hotels.
Bottom line
For most Disney trips, the best of the Holiday Inn hotels near Disney World is the Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area, the only one with Early Entry and a walk to Disney Springs. Choose the Lake Buena Vista resort for KidSuites, the Suites – Waterpark for slides, an Express for free breakfast or a suite brand for a kitchen, and check the resort fee before you pay.
