Hyatt hotels near Disney World are fewer than the Marriott and Hilton choices: two sit in Lake Buena Vista, about 2 road miles from Disney Springs, and six more are spread along International Drive, around Universal and inside Orlando International Airport, 7 to 18 miles from Disney Springs. None is on Disney property, and none appears on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list.

This guide compares all eight, from two Hyatt Regency resorts to Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels, with the fees, parking, breakfast, family rooms and shuttles each one lists. Hyatt’s website blocks automated access, so hotel facts come from archived copies of Hyatt’s own pages (we give the capture month) and each hotel’s current Booking.com listing for parking and fees, plus Disney, the airport and the shuttle operator. Distances are our road routes on public roads.

One rule before you compare: World of Hyatt points, member rates and elite perks depend on booking an eligible rate with Hyatt, which advertises its member rates as “only on hyatt.com”. On a Booking.com reservation, count on what the hotel includes for every guest. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.

Quick answer: For a Disney trip, book Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress if you want a resort day, with an 800,000-gallon lagoon pool, golf and a free reservation-only park shuttle (plus a $50 daily resort fee), or Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista for free breakfast, bunk-bed family rooms and a Disney shuttle, with no resort fee shown. Hyatt House Orlando International Drive has two-bedroom kitchen suites for big families, and the I-Drive, Universal and airport Hyatts suit split Disney-Universal trips or arrival nights.

How we chose these Hyatt hotels near Disney World

We checked every Hyatt brand with a hotel in the Orlando area and kept the ones within about 15 road miles of Disney Springs or a Disney theme park lot, plus the airport Hyatt Regency for first and last nights. Each had to pass four tests:

  • Location: road distances on public roads (OpenStreetMap routing) to the Disney Springs garages, EPCOT’s parking toll plaza and the Magic Kingdom lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
  • Verified amenities: rooms, pools, kitchens and breakfast as Hyatt describes them.
  • Value: resort fees, parking and whether breakfast is included.
  • Transport: park shuttles, and whether you will need a car.

Three Hyatt brands cover the area. Hyatt Regency hotels are full-service, with restaurants on site and a daily resort fee at the two resorts here. Hyatt Place rooms come with a sofa-sleeper “Cozy Corner” and the hotels run a Breakfast Bar, while Hyatt House hotels are built for longer stays, with kitchens in many rooms. We found no open Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Centric or Hyatt Vacation Club resort near the parks, while the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House near the airport (about 17 road miles from Disney Springs) and the Hyatt Place in Lake Mary sit outside our radius.

We haven’t stayed at these hotels, and we don’t use ratings or quote room prices. Our best hotels near Disney World hub covers every brand, and our guides to Marriott hotels near Disney World and Hilton hotels near Disney World cover the two biggest chains.

Hyatt hotels near Disney World compared

Location and transport first. Distances are rounded road miles from each hotel to the Disney Springs Lime garage and to EPCOT’s parking toll plaza; shuttle details are what each hotel lists at the time of writing.

Now the extras. “None shown” means the hotel’s Hyatt page had no resort fee section and Booking.com’s price breakdown for a November 2026 test night listed only taxes. Grand Cypress and Hyatt Regency Orlando parking comes from Hyatt’s September and August 2026 pages, the airport figure from MCO, and the others from each hotel’s Booking.com listing in October 2026, so confirm parking and fees in your booking total.

1. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Hyatt’s resort beside Disney sits at the end of Grand Cypress Boulevard, off Winter Garden-Vineland Road, with 779 rooms around an 18-story atrium, the 21-acre Lake Windsong with a sand beach, and two 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf courses. The draw is the 800,000-gallon lagoon pool, a “private cove” with 12 waterfalls, swim-through caves, a waterslide (48-inch minimum), two hot tubs and a splash pad, open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. with no lifeguard on duty.

Hyatt calls it a “Walt Disney World Resort Gateway Hotel”, but that is Hyatt’s label, not a Disney perk: there is no Early Theme Park Entry. Rooms are listed with one king or two double beds, and suites range from Junior and Executive suites to Bi-level suites.

  • Why stay: a real resort day between park days, about 2 road miles from Disney Springs and 6 to 7 from the EPCOT and Magic Kingdom lots.
  • Getting there / to the parks: the free shuttle, run by Fabulous Buses, needs a boarding pass (limited, first come, first served, bookable up to 48 hours ahead). Its page lists departures to Universal at 7:45 a.m., to Magic Kingdom’s Transportation and Ticket Center at 8:45 and 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and to EPCOT at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m., with evening returns. The operator says it serves all four Disney parks, but the schedule shows no Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom stop, so drive to those (about 6 and 7.5 miles).
  • Good to know: a $50 daily resort fee (subject to change), with self-parking at $39 and valet at $54 at last check (September 2026); breakfast isn’t included in standard rates; dogs up to 50 pounds are welcome for a fee.

Best for: families with confident swimmers, golfers and anyone who wants pool time near Disney Springs.

Check your dates for Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress on Booking.com, or read our full Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress review for the shuttle times, pool rules and pet fees.

2. Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista

This 169-room Hyatt Place on Palm Parkway, about 2 road miles from Disney Springs, calls itself a Disney Good Neighbor hotel and keeps the extras low. Hyatt’s November 2025 page lists free breakfast every day at the Breakfast Bar (scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit and yogurt), an outdoor pool with accessible entry, a fitness center and The Placery’s bar menu, and its resort fee section was empty.

Every room has a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper. Per Hyatt’s February 2024 rooms page, kings run 370 square feet and two-queen rooms 424, and the Family Rooms add kids’ bunk beds to a king or two queens in about 422 to 424 square feet (616 in the accessible versions). Those pages don’t state a guest limit, so check it when you book.

  • Why stay: free breakfast and bunk-bed rooms a short drive from Disney Springs, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
  • Getting there / to the parks: Hyatt’s latest page (November 2025) invites you to reserve a shuttle spot to Disney World, and the hotel’s Booking.com listing shows a free shuttle, but no current timetable is published, so ask the front desk for times and stops before you count on it. By road it’s about 6 miles to EPCOT’s toll plaza and 7 to the Magic Kingdom lot.
  • Good to know: self-parking is $18 a day per the hotel’s Booking.com listing at the time of writing, and Booking.com’s price breakdown shows no resort fee. Up to two dogs (50 pounds each, 75 combined) cost $75 per stay for one to six nights.

Best for: budget-minded families with young kids who want breakfast covered near Disney Springs.

3. Hyatt Regency Orlando

The biggest Hyatt in Orlando has 1,641 rooms on southern International Drive, linked to the Orange County Convention Center by pedestrian bridges, and it doubles as a family resort. The Grotto Pool has a waterfall and cabanas, the Terrace Pool suits laps, and Hyatt lists five restaurants, a 24-hour market and a full-service spa. Standard rooms have two queens or a king, and the Family Suite with two queen beds sleeps up to six, per Hyatt.

  • Why stay: about 3 road miles from Epic Universe’s parking and 3.6 from Universal’s garages, and 11 to 13 from the EPCOT and Magic Kingdom lots, so it suits Universal-first trips with a Disney day or two.
  • Getting there / to the parks: it’s a Universal Partner Hotel with a Universal desk in the lobby, where you reserve the free scheduled transport to the Universal parks in person from a day ahead (Hyatt’s homepage adds SeaWorld and Aquatica). Seats are limited, and it isn’t valid for special events or Early Park Admission. Hyatt lists no Disney shuttle.
  • Good to know: a $48 daily resort fee (subject to change), with self-parking at $45 and valet at $56 at last check (August 2026); breakfast isn’t included in standard rates.

Best for: convention weeks and families splitting their days between Universal, SeaWorld and Disney.

Compare rates for Hyatt Regency Orlando, read our Hyatt Regency Orlando review, or see the other bridge-connected options in our guide to hotels near the Orange County Convention Center.

4. Hyatt Place Orlando/I-Drive/Convention Center

At 8741 International Drive, between ICON Park and Pointe Orlando, this 151-room Hyatt Place is the simplest Hyatt on I-Drive. Every room has a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper with a king or two beds that Hyatt lists as doubles (Booking.com says queens, so confirm), the heated outdoor pool is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and The Placery serves burgers and salads at the lobby bar, per Hyatt’s November 2025 page. Hyatt lists Walt Disney World at 7.43 miles; the drive to EPCOT’s toll plaza is about 12.

  • Why stay: a central I-Drive base about 2.5 road miles from Epic Universe’s parking and 2.7 from Universal’s garages; as a Universal Partner Hotel, it offers discounts on some Universal food and merchandise.
  • Getting there / to the parks: the Hyatt pages we could open list no theme park shuttle, so plan to drive (about 12 miles to EPCOT and 14 to the Magic Kingdom lot) or use rideshare.
  • Good to know: breakfast is free only for World of Hyatt Discoverist, Explorist and Globalist members on an eligible rate; otherwise book a breakfast rate or add it at check-in. Self-parking is $20 a day per the hotel’s Booking.com listing at the time of writing. Up to two dogs cost $100 for one to six nights.

Best for: couples and small families with a car who want I-Drive restaurants close by.

5. Hyatt House Orlando International Drive

Near the north end of I-Drive at 5374 International Drive, this 175-room Hyatt House is the Hyatt to book for a big family. Most room types are kitchen suites, from studios to two-bedroom suites with a living room; the largest, a 962-square-foot two-bedroom, has a king, two queens and a sofa bed, per Hyatt’s December 2023 rooms page. Breakfast is complimentary (scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal), and there’s a 24-hour H Market, the H Bar, a 24/7 fitness room and a 55-foot outdoor pool.

  • Why stay: two separate bedrooms, a full kitchen and breakfast included, about 2 road miles from Universal’s garages and a few minutes from Orlando International Premium Outlets.
  • Getting there / to the parks: no shuttle appears on the Hyatt pages we could open, and the hotel’s Booking.com listing mentions a shuttle at extra charge without details, so ask. Hyatt says the hotel is 10 miles from Walt Disney World, but the drive to the parks themselves is longer: about 13 miles to EPCOT’s toll plaza and 15 to the Magic Kingdom lot, using the Sand Lake Road entrance to I-4.
  • Good to know: Hyatt’s 2023 parking page said parking was free, but the hotel’s Booking.com listing now gives $20 a day, so budget for it; no resort fee showed on Hyatt’s November 2025 page or in Booking.com’s price breakdown. Up to two dogs cost $100 for one to six nights.

Best for: large families staying a week who want two bedrooms and breakfast between Universal and Disney days.

6. Hyatt House across from Universal Orlando Resort

On Caravan Court, across Kirkman Road from Universal, this Universal Partner Hotel has 168 rooms, many with a full kitchen and a separate living room, per Hyatt’s November 2025 page. Breakfast is complimentary, a 24-hour market sells groceries, and the heated outdoor pool is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Room types include one-bedroom kitchen suites with two queens and a sofa bed, and a Specialty Family Suite with bunk beds.

  • Why stay: a kitchen and free breakfast about a mile’s walk from CityWalk, with Disney a drive away: about 13 miles to EPCOT’s toll plaza and 15 to the Magic Kingdom lot.
  • Getting there / to the parks: walk, or take the complimentary Universal shuttle Hyatt mentions; no Disney shuttle is listed.
  • Good to know: self-parking is $25 a day and pets aren’t allowed, per the hotel’s Booking.com listing at the time of writing (Hyatt’s January 2025 page listed $22 and no pets); no resort fee showed on Hyatt’s November 2025 page or in Booking.com’s price breakdown.

Best for: Universal-first families who will cook some meals and add a Disney day by car.

7. Hyatt Place across from Universal Orlando Resort

Next door at 5976 Caravan Court, this 150-room Hyatt Place gives every room a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper, and one room type adds bunk beds to two queen beds. Hyatt’s May 2026 page describes free scheduled transportation to Universal, SeaWorld and Aquatica “based on availability”, plus a heated outdoor pool. Breakfast is free for World of Hyatt members paying an eligible rate; everyone else books a breakfast rate or adds it at check-in.

  • Why stay: about 1.5 road miles to Universal’s garages, a walk of about a mile to CityWalk, and free scheduled rides to SeaWorld and Aquatica too.
  • Getting there / to the parks: the shuttle covers Universal, SeaWorld and Aquatica; for Disney, drive about 13 miles to EPCOT’s toll plaza or 15 to the Magic Kingdom lot.
  • Good to know: self-parking is $25 a day per the hotel’s Booking.com listing at the time of writing (Hyatt’s September 2025 page said $22). Up to two dogs cost $100 for one to six nights or $200 for 7 to 30, and no resort fee showed on Hyatt’s page or in Booking.com’s price breakdown.

Best for: couples and families doing Universal and SeaWorld without driving, with one Disney day by car or rideshare.

8. Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport

The only hotel inside Orlando International Airport sits in the Terminal A/B building, above the security checkpoint for Gates 70-129, with 445 rooms, a rooftop pool and sundeck, a fitness center and the Hemisphere restaurant with runway views, according to the airport. It’s about 18 road miles from Disney Springs and 21 to 23 from the Disney theme park lots, so it belongs to the first and last nights of a Disney trip, not to the park days.

  • Why stay: walk from baggage claim to your room after a late flight, and from your room to check-in before an early one.
  • Getting there / to the parks: no theme park shuttle is listed; pick up a rental car at the airport or use rideshare, about 35 minutes to Magic Kingdom without traffic.
  • Good to know: the airport lists hotel guest parking at $19 a night self-parked or $28 valet for registered guests; no resort fee appeared on the Hyatt and airport pages we checked or in Booking.com’s price breakdown, and breakfast isn’t described as included.

Best for: late arrivals, early departures and travelers who won’t pick up a car until day two.

How to choose a Hyatt hotel near Disney World

Disney days, Universal days or both?

If Disney fills most of your days, stay in Lake Buena Vista: Grand Cypress and Hyatt Place are 6 to 7 road miles from the EPCOT and Magic Kingdom lots, against 11 to 15 from the I-Drive and Universal-area Hyatts. Neither group gets Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry; our list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry shows the ones that do, and our guide to hotels near EPCOT compares the walkable and shuttle picks around that park.

Count beds, then add the extras

For five or six, look at Hyatt Regency Orlando’s Family Suite (up to six, per Hyatt), the bunk-bed rooms at Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista, Hyatt Place across from Universal and Hyatt House across from Universal, or a two-bedroom suite at Hyatt House International Drive. Hyatt doesn’t publish a guest limit for every room type, so check it before you pay. Then add the extras: at Grand Cypress the $50 resort fee plus $39 self-parking comes to $89 a day before tax, and at Hyatt Regency Orlando $48 plus $45 makes $93. Guests of all eight Hyatts pay Disney’s standard theme park parking, $35 a day.

Book with Hyatt or on Booking.com?

World of Hyatt counts nights toward status and benefits only when a member pays an eligible rate, and Hyatt markets its member rates as “only on hyatt.com”, so don’t count on points or elite perks, such as the free member breakfast at the I-Drive and Universal Hyatt Places, with a Booking.com reservation. Compare Booking.com’s total with Hyatt’s direct rate, check that the resort fee is included, and see our guide to where to stay in Orlando if you are still choosing between areas.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Hyatt hotel on Disney World property?

No. The closest is Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, just outside Walt Disney World and about 2 road miles from Disney Springs, followed by Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista on Palm Parkway. Hyatt calls Grand Cypress a “Walt Disney World Resort Gateway Hotel”, but that is a marketing label: its guests don’t get Disney resort perks such as Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Hours or free theme park parking.

Do any Hyatt hotels near Disney World get Early Theme Park Entry?

No. Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry page lists 15 non-Disney hotels whose guests can enter the theme parks 30 minutes early, including the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve, Four Seasons, Signia, Waldorf Astoria and eight hotels in the Disney Springs area, and no Hyatt is among them. Disney says the benefit continues through 2027, so plan rope drop from a Hyatt as a regular-opening guest.

Which Hyatt hotels near Disney World have a free park shuttle?

Two run Disney trips. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress has a free, reservation-only shuttle to Magic Kingdom‘s Transportation and Ticket Center, EPCOT, Disney Springs and Universal at set times, and Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista offers Disney shuttle spots, but publishes no current timetable, so ask for times. Hyatt Regency Orlando and the two Caravan Court hotels shuttle to Universal, and the other Hyatts list no free park shuttle.

Do Hyatt hotels near Disney World charge resort fees?

Two do at the time of writing: Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress ($50 a day) and Hyatt Regency Orlando ($48 a day), both “subject to change”. The other six showed no resort fee on Hyatt’s pages or in Booking.com’s price breakdown at the time of writing. Self-parking is extra at all eight, from about $18 a day at Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista to $45 at Hyatt Regency Orlando.

Can I earn World of Hyatt points if I book on Booking.com?

Don’t count on it. World of Hyatt says only nights at an eligible rate count toward tier status and benefits, and Hyatt promotes member rates as available only on hyatt.com. A Booking.com reservation is a third-party booking, so points, elite breakfast at Hyatt Place and other member perks may not apply. Compare the two totals, with the resort fee included, and decide whether points or price matter more to you.

Is there a Grand Hyatt near Disney World?

Not yet. We found no Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt or Hyatt Centric open in the Orlando area. Hyatt announced in August 2024 that a Grand Hyatt Orlando of about 2,500 rooms is planned next to Hyatt Regency Orlando; we found no opening date. The similar-sounding Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is Hyatt’s resort beside Disney, about 2 road miles from Disney Springs, with a lagoon pool, golf and a free shuttle but no Disney perks.

Bottom line

The best Hyatt hotels near Disney World are the two in Lake Buena Vista: Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for a lagoon pool, golf and a free (limited) park shuttle, and Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista for free breakfast, bunk-bed family rooms and no resort fee shown. Pick Hyatt House International Drive for two-bedroom suites, an I-Drive or Universal-area Hyatt when Universal is the bigger part of your trip, and the airport Hyatt Regency for arrival nights. Confirm fees and parking, then check current rates at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.
