The best hotels near EPCOT let you walk or take a boat to the park: the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve sit on lakeside walkways about 0.7 to 0.9 mile from EPCOT’s International Gateway, and Disney’s own BoardWalk Inn, Beach Club and Yacht Club are even closer. If you’d rather pay lower fees or want more space, nine hotels about 4.5 to 6.5 miles away by road run their own shuttles to the parks.
Below are 12 hotels you can book on Booking.com, Disney’s closest resorts, walking distances, a shuttle comparison and the real daily fees, checked on official pages in October 2026.
Quick answer: The closest hotel to EPCOT is Disney’s Beach Club Resort, about 0.3 mile from International Gateway, but you book it through Disney. The closest hotels on Booking.com are the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, about a 15-minute walk away, with Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Hours and free standard theme park parking; budget for the $50 daily resort package and $40 parking. For a shuttle with no resort fee, pick Drury Plaza; Signia by Hilton adds big pools and Early Entry about 5 miles away.

How we chose these hotels near EPCOT
EPCOT has two entrances: the main gate by Spaceship Earth, with the parking lot, bus stops and EPCOT Monorail, and International Gateway on the World Showcase side, which serves the walkways, boats and the Disney Skyliner. The first three hotels below use International Gateway; the other nine are a short drive or shuttle ride from the main parking lot.
- Access first: walking and driving distances come from OSRM route calculations to International Gateway and to EPCOT’s main parking lot, rounded and checked against public roads. Hotels’ own “miles from EPCOT” figures are often straight-line.
- Verified perks: Early Theme Park Entry, Extended Evening Hours and Lightning Lane booking windows come from Disney’s own pages, not hotel marketing.
- Real costs: resort fees, parking and shuttle rules come from each hotel’s official site. We don’t use star ratings, review scores or room prices.

Disney’s Riviera Resort and Caribbean Beach Resort are in the same EPCOT Resort Area, but Disney lists the Skyliner and buses, not walkways, as their way to the parks. No hotel sits inside EPCOT itself.
1. Walt Disney World Swan

The Swan is the 12-story building topped by two 47-foot swan statues, with 756 rooms including 55 suites. It’s part of Marriott Bonvoy, yet Disney lists it among the “other select hotels” that share its resort perks.
The resort describes walkways to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, and by our route check International Gateway is about 0.7 mile away, roughly 15 minutes on foot. Water taxis leave from the dock between the Swan and Dolphin about every 20 to 25 minutes, starting an hour before the parks open, though boats don’t run in bad weather.
- Why stay: a walkable EPCOT base with 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry every day, Extended Evening Hours on select nights and the same 7-day Lightning Lane booking window Disney gives its own resort guests.
- Getting there / to the parks: walk or take the boat to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Buses run about every 20 to 25 minutes to Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs and Magic Kingdom, with Magic Kingdom drop-off at the Transportation and Ticket Center.
- Good to know: the resort’s FAQ lists a mandatory $50-a-day resort service package, self-parking at $40 a day and valet at $51 to $61, all plus tax. Standard theme park parking is included. Traditional rooms sleep two adults and two children, extra adults are $35 a night, and pets aren’t allowed.
Best for: couples and small families who want to walk to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
2. Walt Disney World Dolphin

The Dolphin is the big one: a 27-story building rising above Crescent Lake, with 1,514 rooms, 124 suites and 11 restaurants and lounges, including Todd English’s bluezoo and Bourbon Steak. It also houses the Mandara Spa and the Camp Dolphin kids’ club. If you’re torn between the three hotels, our Swan vs Dolphin vs Swan Reserve comparison goes room by room.
The shared pool area is a big reason to stay. The resort lists a grotto pool with waterfalls and a water slide, two lap pools, a kiddie pool, a white sand beach and watercraft rentals. The walk to International Gateway is about the same as from the Swan, roughly 0.7 mile.
- Why stay: the highest standard room occupancy of the three. Dolphin traditional and family rooms sleep two adults and three children, and Camp Dolphin takes kids 5 to 12 in the evening, with reservations required.
- Getting there / to the parks: as at the Swan: walkways or water taxi to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, buses elsewhere.
- Good to know: the same $50 daily resort package and $40 self-parking, plus tax, as the Swan. The third, fourth and fifth adults are $35 a night each. Camp Dolphin’s page lists 3 to 10 pm nightly; confirm when you book.
Best for: families of five and anyone who wants pools and kids’ activities a short walk from World Showcase.

3. Walt Disney World Swan Reserve

The Swan Reserve is the newest of the trio: a 14-story building with 349 rooms, 149 of them suites, and a Mediterranean restaurant, Amare. Its own pool area has an elevated deck and a fire pit.
Our route check puts International Gateway about 0.9 mile away, roughly 20 minutes on foot, and the water taxis leave from the dock between the Swan and Dolphin. Buses stop at the Swan Reserve’s own entrance.
- Why stay: the most modern rooms of the three and a high share of suites, with the same Early Entry, Extended Evening Hours and 7-day Lightning Lane window.
- Getting there / to the parks: walk or ride the water taxi from the shared dock to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios; buses go to Magic Kingdom (via the Transportation and Ticket Center), Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs.
- Good to know: traditional rooms are 330 square feet and sleep two adults and two children. Parking is $40 a day plus tax, and pets aren’t allowed. The resort’s FAQ lists the $50-a-day resort service package without separating the three hotels, so confirm the charge on your Swan Reserve booking.
Best for: couples and suite seekers who want a newer, calmer base within walking distance of EPCOT.
4. Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

Signia shares its Bonnet Creek grounds with the Waldorf Astoria, and our guide to the Bonnet Creek hotels compares it with its neighbors. The pool complex is the draw: a zero-entry, lagoon-style pool, a lazy river and a water slide (40 inches minimum, with a life jacket required between 40 and 48 inches).
EPCOT’s main parking lot is about 5 miles away by public roads, roughly 15 to 20 minutes via Chelonia Parkway, Buena Vista Drive and Epcot Center Drive.
- Why stay: Disney Early Theme Park Entry, big resort pools, and a resort charge that includes the Disney shuttle and four lazy river tubes (first come, first served).
- Getting there / to the parks: motorcoach service to the four Disney theme parks and Disney Springs. The hotel says it runs during regularly scheduled park hours only, so check the schedule if you want to use Early Entry.
- Good to know: the resort charge is $50 a night plus tax; self-parking is $40 and valet $60 a day, plus tax. Expect a $150-a-night incidental hold at check-in. Kids 12 and under get a free dinner from the kids’ menu at La Luce or Harvest Bistro with each adult entrée.
Best for: pool-loving families who want Early Entry and a lazy river.
5. Waldorf Astoria Orlando

The Waldorf Astoria is Signia’s more formal neighbor, with the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club and the Waldorf Astoria Spa. Its guests can also use Signia’s pool, lazy river and restaurants. EPCOT’s main parking lot is about 5.5 miles away by road.
- Why stay: Early Theme Park Entry at all four parks and a golf-course setting next to Signia’s pools.
- Getting there / to the parks: complimentary shuttle service to the four Disney theme parks and Disney Springs, included in the resort charge. Schedules vary by day, so check with the front desk or concierge.
- Good to know: the resort charge is $50 a night plus tax, and parking is valet only at $60 a day plus tax. The minimum booking age is 21. The hotel says its guests can buy Lightning Lane passes from 7 a.m. three days before their visit, the standard window for non-Disney hotels.
Best for: couples and families who want a polished resort with Disney perks and Signia’s pools next door.
6. Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

The Wyndham Grand sits beside a 10-acre lake with walking paths in the Bonnet Creek resort area, next to the Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek towers. Its heated Oasis Pool comes with access to four more pools, two lazy rivers and a children’s splash zone, and its Family Bunk rooms with two queens sleep up to six. Our Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek review covers the rooms and dining.
By public roads, EPCOT’s main parking lot is about 5 miles away, roughly 15 minutes via Chelonia Parkway, Buena Vista Drive and Epcot Center Drive.
- Why stay: Bonnet Creek pools and lazy rivers for a lower daily fee than Signia’s, plus bunk-bed rooms for families.
- Getting there / to the parks: the resort fee covers a scheduled shuttle to the Disney parks and Disney Springs. The October 2026 schedule lists EPCOT departures at 7:45 and 9:30 am and 12:30 and 2:45 pm, with returns at 3:30, 8:30 and 9:45 pm. Seats are first come, first served, and you need your room key to board.
- Good to know: the resort services fee is $42 a day plus tax; self-parking is $36 and valet $42 a day, plus tax. The minimum check-in age is 21. At the time of writing, the hotel’s homepage said the lazy river at Club Wyndham’s Tower 5, one of the two its guests can use, was closed for renovations. The hotel calls itself a Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel, but it isn’t on Disney’s Early Entry list.
Best for: families who want lazy rivers and bunk beds and don’t mind planning EPCOT days around a fixed bus schedule.
7. Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace

Buena Vista Palace is on Buena Vista Drive, a 5- to 7-minute walk from Disney Springs over a pedestrian bridge. For an EPCOT trip, the detail to know is its EPCOT Fireworks View room category in the tower, and the hotel says all suites and most rooms have a private balcony. Our Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace review covers the rooms, and our Disney Springs guide covers what’s at the end of that walk.
EPCOT’s main parking lot is about 4.6 miles away by road, roughly 15 minutes.
- Why stay: Early Theme Park Entry, fireworks-view rooms and easy Disney Springs evenings.
- Getting there / to the parks: an hourly shuttle to all four parks, included in the resort charge. Reservations are required for both directions and open up to 72 hours ahead. There’s no Disney Springs shuttle at the moment; you walk.

Best for: families who want a suite, Early Entry and Disney Springs on foot.

10. Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area

The Holiday Inn is a 14-story tower on Hotel Plaza Boulevard and, it says, the only Holiday Inn inside the Walt Disney World Resort. Every room has a refrigerator and a microwave, and its Kids Eat Free program covers up to four children 11 and under per family with an adult ordering a full-price main. Our Holiday Inn Orlando Disney Springs review has the room details.
EPCOT’s main parking lot is about 5.5 miles away by road, about 15 minutes, and the hotel puts Disney Springs a 7- to 10-minute walk away.

Hotels near EPCOT with a shuttle
Every off-site hotel above runs its own bus to EPCOT, but only one is truly free: Drury Plaza has no resort fee. Disney’s own hotels near EPCOT
Disney’s EPCOT-area resorts aren’t sold on Booking.com, but they’re the closest to the park, and every Disney Resort guest gets Early Theme Park Entry, free overnight self-parking at the hotel, standard theme park parking and the 7-day Lightning Lane window. At the time of writing, Disney’s pages for all seven resorts below showed refurbishment or construction notices, so ask what’s affected when you book.
| Disney resort | Category | To EPCOT | Evening hours |
|---|---|---|---|
| Beach Club Resort and Villas | Deluxe and Deluxe Villa | Walk or boat | Yes |
| Yacht Club Resort | Deluxe | Walk or boat | Yes |
| BoardWalk Inn and Villas | Deluxe and Deluxe Villa | Walk or boat | Yes |
| Riviera Resort | Deluxe Villa | Skyliner | Yes |
| Caribbean Beach Resort | Moderate | Skyliner | No |
| Pop Century and Art of Animation | Value | Skyliner | No |
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
This is the closest resort to EPCOT, about 0.3 mile from International Gateway by our route check. Disney describes it as walking distance to EPCOT and a boat ride to Hollywood Studios, and it shares Stormalong Bay, a 3-acre water area with a life-size shipwreck, with the Yacht Club next door. The Beach Club Villas share the same location.
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
The Beach Club’s more formal sister is about 0.4 mile from International Gateway, with the same Stormalong Bay access.

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
Across Crescent Lake on the BoardWalk entertainment district, the BoardWalk Inn is about 0.3 mile from International Gateway. Disney lists it as walking distance to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, which makes it the best two-park base of the three; BoardWalk Villas share the location.
Disney’s Riviera Resort and Caribbean Beach Resort
Riviera, a Deluxe Villa resort, is a short stroll from its own Skyliner station and is the only Skyliner resort with Extended Evening Hours. On those EPCOT nights, Disney says the late Skyliner service runs only between International Gateway and the Riviera. Caribbean Beach, a Moderate resort, also has Skyliner and bus service, and Disney’s page showed it under construction and refurbishment at the time of writing.

Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts
These two Value resorts, Disney’s budget tier, also connect to EPCOT by Skyliner, and Art of Animation’s family suites sleep up to six.
The Skyliner opens an hour before Early Entry and closes 90 minutes after EPCOT or Hollywood Studios closes. Disney says it will close for refurbishment from January 24 to 30, 2027, with free buses instead. The same boats and gondolas serve Hollywood Studios, which our hotels near Hollywood Studios guide covers.
How to choose a hotel near EPCOT
Decide how much walking matters. For several EPCOT days or a midday hotel break, the Swan trio or Disney’s Crescent Lake resorts save the most time.
Compare the perks, not the labels. The Swan trio gets Early Entry, Extended Evening Hours and the 7-day Lightning Lane window. Signia, the Waldorf, both Disney Springs Hiltons, Drury Plaza and the Holiday Inn get Early Entry and the standard 3-day window; the Wyndham Grand, Caribe Royale and World Center Marriott get neither. Our list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry covers the rest, and our Disney Lightning Lane guide explains the booking windows.
Add fees to the rate. Resort charges run from none at Drury Plaza to $50 a night at the Swan trio, Signia and the Waldorf, before parking.
Know the parking rules. Day visitors pay $35 a day for standard theme park parking ($50, $55 or $60 for preferred) at the time of writing. It’s included for Disney Resort guests and the Swan trio, so at other hotels a shuttle saves you that fee.
If you want the cheapest stay near EPCOT
Among the hotels on Booking.com, Drury Plaza (no resort fee, free breakfast and evening snacks) and the Holiday Inn ($27 parking, Kids Eat Free) keep the extras lowest. At Disney, Pop Century and Art of Animation are the Value resorts on the Skyliner. For more options across the resort, see our guide to the best hotels near Disney World.

Frequently asked questions
What is the closest hotel to EPCOT?
Disney’s Beach Club Resort, about 0.3 mile from International Gateway by our route check, closely followed by the BoardWalk Inn (0.3 mile) and the Yacht Club (0.4 mile). You book those through Disney. The closest hotels you can book on Booking.com are the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, about 0.7 mile on foot, then the Swan Reserve at about 0.9 mile.
Which hotels are within walking distance of EPCOT?
Six: Disney’s Beach Club, BoardWalk Inn and Yacht Club (plus the Beach Club and BoardWalk villas) and the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve, all on lakeside walkways to International Gateway. Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century and Art of Animation connect by Skyliner instead. Hotels in Bonnet Creek and on Hotel Plaza Boulevard are about 5 road miles away, too far to walk.
Which hotels near EPCOT have a free shuttle?
Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando is the only one in this guide with a shuttle and no resort fee: no reservation needed, from 90 minutes before opening to 90 minutes after closing. The Holiday Inn, both Disney Springs Hiltons, Signia, the Waldorf, the Wyndham Grand, Caribe Royale and the World Center Marriott include their shuttles in a daily resort fee, $38 to $50 where the amount is published.
Are there any hotels inside EPCOT?
No hotel sits inside EPCOT itself. The nearest are Disney’s Beach Club, Yacht Club and BoardWalk Inn and the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve on Crescent Lake, which connect to International Gateway, EPCOT’s back entrance on the World Showcase side, by walkway and boat.
Do non-Disney hotels near EPCOT get Early Theme Park Entry?
Some do. Disney’s list of “other select hotels” includes the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve, Signia, the Waldorf Astoria, Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace, Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, Drury Plaza and the Holiday Inn, among others. The Wyndham Grand, Caribe Royale and World Center Marriott aren’t on it. Of the non-Disney hotels in this guide, only the Swan trio also gets Extended Evening Hours.
Do you have to pay for EPCOT parking if you stay nearby?
It depends on the hotel. Disney Resort guests and guests of the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve get standard theme park parking included. Everyone else pays Disney’s standard rate, $35 a day at the time of writing, or $50 to $60 for preferred spots. A hotel shuttle lets you skip that fee.
Bottom line
If walking to EPCOT is the point, book the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin or Swan Reserve and budget for the $50 daily resort package and parking. If value matters more, Drury Plaza’s free breakfast and fee-free shuttle, or Signia’s pools with Early Entry, put you about 5 miles from the main entrance. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
