The best hotels in Celebration, Florida, put you in a quiet, walkable lakeside town just outside Walt Disney World, with shops, restaurants and free town-center parking a short stroll away. Only a handful of hotels sit in Celebration itself, so this guide also covers the resorts and value hotels just across US-192 that use the Celebration name.
You get one boutique inn on the lake, a suite hotel with a Disney shuttle, a golf-course villa resort, two big pool resorts and three practical picks near Old Town. We checked all eight against official hotel, brand, town and Disney pages in October 2026, using archived copies where brand sites block direct access.
Quick answer: To walk to dinner and stroll the lake in the evening, book The Inn at Celebration, Autograph Collection. Families who want a pool, suites and a free Disney shuttle should look at Meliá Orlando Celebration or Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration. Groups who need two or three bedrooms do best at Hilton Vacation Club Mystic Dunes Orlando or Margaritaville Resort Orlando. On a budget, compare Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Kissimmee/Celebration (free hot breakfast and parking), Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando SW – Celebration Area and Celebration Suites.

Why stay in Celebration?
Celebration is a planned community originally created by The Walt Disney Company, and it still feels very different from the neon strip of US-192 next door. The town center is an open-air district of tree-lined streets and lakeside views with more than 50 local businesses, from restaurants and cafés to shops and services, and parking there is free.

The town also runs free outdoor events. At the time of writing, the Celebration Farmers Market runs every Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM, Founders Day marks the town’s 30th anniversary on Saturday, November 7, 2026, and “Now Snowing” runs nightly in the town center from November 28 through December 31, 2026. Check the Visit Celebration events calendar before you go, because dates and times change.
The trade-off: Celebration is a residential town, not a resort strip, so there are few hotels and no theme-park shuttles from the town center itself. If you’d rather compare it with other bases, our guide to the best areas to stay in Orlando sets Celebration against Lake Buena Vista, International Drive and Kissimmee.
How we chose
We started with every hotel that has a Celebration address or uses “Celebration” in its name, then added Margaritaville Resort Orlando as the strongest full resort nearby. We weighed walkability to the town center, verified amenities, transportation to the Disney parks and the true nightly cost once parking and resort fees are added. Facts come from each hotel’s official page, its brand site (archived copies where Marriott, Hilton and IHG block direct access) or Disney’s Good Neighbor Hotels pages. We did not stay at these hotels, and we don’t publish scores or prices, which change daily.

Rooms and suites have bright interiors, greenery and a boutique, classic-Florida feel.
Lakeside Kitchen & Bar serves American food with an outdoor terrace on the water, and there’s a lobby bar, room service, a 24-hour fitness center with a Peloton bike and bike rentals for riding the town’s trails (listed as complimentary at last check). Marriott’s amenity list at last check did not include a pool, so if swimming is a must, confirm with the hotel before you book.
- Why stay: You can walk out the door to dinner, coffee and the lake, which no other hotel on this list offers.
- Getting there / to the parks: Plan to drive or use rideshare; Marriott says the hotel does not provide shuttle service. Old Town is about 2.5 miles away by road, and Marriott puts Orlando International Airport about 21 miles away.

3. Hilton Vacation Club Mystic Dunes Orlando

Mystic Dunes has a Celebration mailing address (7600 Mystic Dunes Lane), but it sits on its own golf course about 7 miles from Celebration Town Center, so think of it as a self-contained resort rather than a town stay. Hilton describes one- to three-bedroom suites with living areas and either kitchenettes or full kitchens.
The pool complex has a water slide, and there are tennis courts, mini golf, Kenzie’s all-day restaurant overlooking the course and two pool bars. Golfers get the Gary Koch-designed Mystic Dunes Golf Club with a driving range and practice greens.
- Why stay: Multi-bedroom suites with kitchens and a golf course on site.
- Getting there / to the parks: Hilton lists the resort about 15 minutes from Walt Disney World, roughly 8 miles from Magic Kingdom and 7.5 miles from EPCOT. Hilton lists no airport shuttle; plan on a car.
- Good to know: Hilton’s page now lists self-parking at $10 per vehicle per day (it was complimentary until early 2026), and a daily resort charge (covering internet, mini golf, sports equipment, bike rentals and activities) applies; Hilton’s page doesn’t state the amount, so confirm both before you book. Pets are not allowed and check-out is 10 AM.

Self-parking is $20 and valet $45 a night plus tax; cottage guests can park two vehicles at their cottage. The resort advertises Island H2O admission for guests who pay the full resort fee, but the park is seasonal (its 2026 season runs March 6 to October 31), so confirm what’s included for your dates.

How to choose a hotel in Celebration
Decide whether walkability matters
If strolling to dinner and the lakefront is the reason you’re looking at Celebration, The Inn at Celebration is the clear pick, with Meliá a short drive away. Every other hotel here is on or near US-192, where you’ll drive to eat.
Count the real cost, not the room rate
Fees vary widely. Margaritaville adds a $48 resort fee and $20 parking at the time of writing, while the Fairfield and Holiday Inn list free parking. Osceola County, which includes Celebration, also charges a 6% tourist development tax on top of sales tax. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book. If parking is a deal-breaker, see our list of Orlando hotels with free parking.
Match the room to your group
Couples are well served by the Inn. Families fit comfortably in Meliá’s one- and two-bedroom suites or the Holiday Inn’s suites and bunk-bed kids rooms; check the occupancy of your room type. For two or three bedrooms, look at Mystic Dunes, Margaritaville’s cottages or Celebration Suites, or compare more options in our guide to 2- and 3-bedroom suites near Disney World.
Check the shuttle before you skip the car
Meliá, Delta, Margaritaville, the Holiday Inn and the Fairfield list Disney shuttles, but schedules are fixed and some need reservations. For more choices, see our list of Orlando hotels with free Disney World shuttles, or widen your search with the best hotels in Kissimmee and our best hotels near Disney World.
Frequently asked questions
Is Celebration, Florida, a good place to stay for Disney World?
Yes, if you want a calm base close to the parks. Celebration borders the Disney area, and hotels here list Walt Disney World anywhere from about one to five miles away. You trade resort-strip convenience for a walkable town center, free town parking and quieter evenings. Families who plan to drive, or who book a hotel with a shuttle, get the best of both.
How far is Celebration from the Disney parks?
It depends on the hotel. Meliá Orlando Celebration puts Walt Disney World about 4.5 km (2.8 miles) away, Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration about a mile from Disney property, and Hilton lists Mystic Dunes about 8 miles from Magic Kingdom. Margaritaville quotes 10 to 15 minutes to Walt Disney World by car, and Celebration Suites about 3 miles. Allow more time in rush-hour traffic and check live directions.
Which Celebration hotels have a free Disney shuttle?
At the time of writing, Meliá Orlando Celebration, Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration, Margaritaville Resort Orlando (shuttles covered by the resort fee) and Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando SW – Celebration Area list complimentary Disney transportation. The Fairfield’s Good Neighbor listing includes a Disney shuttle too. Schedules are set, seats can be limited and some require booking, so confirm times with the front desk on arrival.
Can you walk around Celebration’s town center from a hotel?
Only The Inn at Celebration sits right in the town center, on the lake beside the shops and restaurants. Meliá is in Celebration too but in the business district, so most guests drive the short distance. The other hotels on this list are along US-192 near Old Town, where you’ll need a car or rideshare to reach Celebration’s Market Street.
Are there pet-friendly hotels in Celebration?
Yes. At last check, The Inn at Celebration accepts up to two dogs of 35 pounds or less for a $75 fee per stay, Delta Hotels Orlando Celebration allows pets up to 75 pounds for $75 per stay, and Meliá runs a pet-friendly program. Mystic Dunes does not allow pets. Fees and rules change, so confirm before booking, or see our pet-friendly Orlando hotels guide.
Bottom line
For the real Celebration experience, book The Inn at Celebration and walk the lake at sunset; for suites and a free Disney shuttle, Meliá Orlando Celebration is the best all-round family pick, while Delta and Margaritaville win on pools. Budget travelers should start with the Fairfield for free breakfast and parking. Compare rates for Meliá Orlando Celebration and confirm fees before you pay.
