The Orlando hotels with free parking that we could confirm on official pages are mostly budget and villa-style properties in Kissimmee, along US-192 and around International Drive, plus every Disney-owned resort. That matters more than it sounds: many hotels near the parks charge $25 to $40 a night to park, before you pay a cent at the theme park gates.
If you’re driving down or renting a car at the airport, a week of hotel parking can quietly add $200 or more to your bill. Below are seven hotels whose official sites say parking is free or already covered by the resort fee, with notes on what that fee includes, where each hotel sits and how you get to Disney, Universal and SeaWorld.
Policies change often in Orlando, so treat every fee below as correct at the time of writing and check your booking total before you pay.
Quick answer: For free parking, look at Drury Inn & Suites near Universal Orlando Resort (no resort fee listed, plus free hot breakfast and a Universal shuttle) and Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway near Disney, though Wyndham’s booking page lists a $20.43 nightly resort fee at the Ramada. Westgate’s Orlando resorts park you free (at Westgate Palace, parking is part of the fee) but charge nightly resort fees of $19.99 to $29.99 plus tax. Orange Lake, Avanti and Encore at Reunion fold parking into their resort fees. Disney’s own resorts also give hotel guests free overnight parking and free standard theme park parking.

How we chose
We started with hotels close to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando or International Drive and kept only those whose own website, brand site or official FAQ said self-parking is free, or listed it as part of the resort fee. Third-party listings didn’t count. We then weighed:
- Total cost of parking: truly free parking ranks above parking that’s bundled into a resort fee, because you pay that fee whether or not you bring a car.
- Location: realistic drive or shuttle times to the parks, based on what each hotel publishes.
- Transport backup: a park shuttle saves you Disney’s or Universal’s daily parking charge on the days you don’t drive.
- Verified extras: breakfast, pools, kitchens and vehicle limits, only where the hotel states them.
We don’t use review scores or star ratings, and we haven’t been paid to include any hotel.

You also get the brand’s free hot breakfast, the free 5:30 Kickback in the evening, free popcorn and soda and free Wi-Fi.
Every room has a microwave and refrigerator. It’s a Universal Partner Hotel with a Universal ticket desk in the lobby, so you can sort out park tickets and shuttle seats in one stop.

- Getting there / to the parks: Drury puts Universal Orlando 2 miles away and Disney Springs 7 miles away. The free scheduled shuttle serves all of Universal’s theme parks, including Epic Universe; reserve your seat at the lobby ticket center.

2. Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway

The Ramada Gateway sits on US-192 (7470 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy), which the hotel describes as one mile from Walt Disney World. Both the hotel’s site and Wyndham’s page list free parking, and Wyndham adds that it covers trucks, RVs and trailers, which is rare in this area.
You can choose between Standard rooms and rooms in the Deluxe Tower. On-site there are two outdoor pools, mini golf, an arcade, a basketball court, a breakfast buffet at the Smokehouse Grill and Mulligan’s Sports Bar. We’ve covered it in depth in our full Ramada Kissimmee Gateway review.
- Why stay: free parking that Wyndham says covers trucks, RVs and trailers, close to Disney, plus a complimentary park shuttle for the days you’d rather not pay Disney’s parking fee.
- Getting there / to the parks: the complimentary scheduled shuttle serves Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Epic Universe and SeaWorld; ask at the front desk for the current times.
- Good to know: Wyndham’s booking page lists a $20.43 nightly resort fee (the hotel’s own site doesn’t mention it), so check your booking total before you pay. The breakfast buffet runs 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.; check whether your rate includes it. Pets are accepted in Standard rooms.
Best for: road-trippers, RV and trailer drivers, and Disney-focused families watching every dollar.

3. Westgate Vacation Villas Resort

Westgate’s terms say self-parking is free of charge at its resorts unless stated otherwise, and Westgate Vacation Villas, at 7700 Westgate Boulevard in Kissimmee, has no exception listed. The catch is a $29.99-plus-tax nightly resort fee covering Wi-Fi, mini golf, movie theater access, bike rentals, sports courts, the fitness center, local calls and the in-room safe. Parking isn’t part of the fee; it’s free on its own.
The resort describes itself as minutes from Walt Disney World. Villas range from studios with kitchenettes to two-bedroom villas with lofts that sleep up to 10, and Shipwreck Island Water Park is on-site with a lazy river, slides and a splash pad.
- Why stay: villa space and full kitchens in the bigger units for a big group, with no parking charge on top.
- Getting there / to the parks: plan to drive; the resort doesn’t advertise a theme park shuttle for this property.
- Good to know: Westgate’s parking policy covers standard cars and small to mid-size SUVs only. Oversized vehicles, RVs, trucks and trailers can’t be accommodated, and spaces are first-come, first-served at peak times. The water park isn’t included for most guests, but Westgate has run promotions that add tickets, so read your rate’s details. Up to two dogs, 60 pounds combined, are allowed for a fee.
Best for: larger families and multigenerational groups who want villa space near Disney.
4. Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa

Westgate Lakes is the Universal-side alternative, at 9500 Turkey Lake Road in Orlando. The same Westgate parking terms apply, so self-parking is free, and the nightly resort fee is $29.99 plus tax, covering Wi-Fi, mini golf, bike rentals, sports courts, the fitness center, local calls and the in-room safe.
It’s a lakefront resort with Treasure Cove Water Park, seven pools and hot tubs, a marina where you can rent paddle boats, pontoons and kayaks, and Serenity Spa. Accommodations range from studios to four-bedroom villas.
- Why stay: free parking plus a free Universal shuttle, so you can leave the car at the resort on Universal days and drive to Disney on the others.
- Getting there / to the parks: Westgate’s free shuttle for registered guests serves Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, CityWalk and Epic Universe; reserve seats at the front desk or concierge after you check in. Schedules follow park hours. For Disney and SeaWorld, plan to drive.
- Good to know: breakfast isn’t included; the resort points you to Drafts Sports Bar & Grill and its other outlets. Westgate’s general parking policy doesn’t accommodate RVs, trucks or trailers.
Best for: families splitting a trip between Universal and Disney who want a villa and a water park at the resort.
5. Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort

Orange Lake is a 1,100-acre villa resort on US-192 that describes itself as next to the Walt Disney World theme parks. Parking isn’t free in the strict sense: the resort’s FAQ says it’s included in the $45-per-night resort fee, with a two-vehicle maximum per reservation. That fee also covers RV and trailer parking, Wi-Fi, the internal resort shuttle, the lazy river, waterslides, fitness centers and sports courts.
Accommodations run from studio suites to four-bedroom villas. The resort has four swimming pool areas, a 1,200-foot lazy river, three arcades, two 36-hole mini golf courses, golf courses and an internal shuttle with 22 stops running every 20 minutes between its four villages.
- Why stay: two cars and even an RV or trailer are covered by one fee, which suits extended families driving in convoy.
- Getting there / to the parks: drive; the resort shuttle loops around the property, and the official page doesn’t advertise a theme park shuttle.
- Good to know: the FAQ says rates don’t include the $45 resort fee or 12.5% tax. Bring towels from your villa to the pools.
Best for: big groups with more than one vehicle who want a resort with plenty to do between park days.

6. Avanti International Resort

Avanti, at 8738 International Drive just south of Sand Lake Road, has a modest resort fee, and it covers your car. The FAQ says the $18-plus-tax nightly fee includes self-parking, Wi-Fi, scheduled theme park shuttles, local and toll-free calls and fitness center access.
The resort has a pool with a pool bar, a cafe and marketplace, and a lobby barista. Our Avanti International Resort review covers the rooms and shuttle in more detail.
- Why stay: an $18 fee that covers both parking and park shuttles costs less than several Orlando hotels charge for parking alone.
- Getting there / to the parks: scheduled shuttles run to Universal Orlando, CityWalk, the Walt Disney World theme parks and SeaWorld/Aquatica, with times that vary by season.
- Good to know: RVs, commercial vehicles and trucks aren’t allowed in the lots. Rooms sleep at most two adults and two children (king rooms two adults), so larger families need two rooms. There’s no airport shuttle.
Best for: couples and families of four who want to be on I-Drive with a car and a shuttle option.
7. Encore Resort at Reunion

Encore is a resort community of vacation homes, from 4 to 13 bedrooms, near Reunion in Kissimmee. Its FAQ says complimentary self-parking is available throughout the resort, with overflow lots, and lists parking among the items covered by the resort fee. Street parking isn’t permitted.
That fee varies by home and also covers Wi-Fi, the on-site water park, the fitness center, pools and theme park transportation. Encore puts itself 10 to 15 minutes from Walt Disney World and 20 to 25 minutes from SeaWorld and Universal.
- Why stay: a private home for one large group, with water park access and shuttles included.
- Getting there / to the parks: complimentary theme park shuttles are available but must be reserved through the concierge; airport transfers cost extra.
- Good to know: you must be 21 or older to check in (4 p.m.; check-out 10 a.m.), and a $500 refundable incidental deposit is taken at check-in. Homes differ in layout and features, so read the listing for the one you book.
Best for: reunions and multi-family trips with several cars that want one shared home.
What about Disney’s own resorts?
If you’re staying on Disney property anyway, parking is the easy part. Walt Disney World’s parking page says overnight self-parking is free for Disney Resort hotel guests, and standard theme park parking is included during your stay. Standard parking at Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach and Disney Springs is free for everyone.
That perk applies only to hotels Disney owns, not to every hotel on Disney property. Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin guests, for example, pay $40 a day plus tax to self-park at their hotel, according to the same Disney page. Disney resorts aren’t sold on Booking.com, so book them directly with Disney. If you’re weighing the trade-offs, read whether it’s worth staying at a Disney resort.
What parking costs at the parks and on-site hotels
Free hotel parking is only half the picture. These are the daily rates for park and on-site hotel parking at the time of writing:
| Where | Standard parking | Upgrade | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Walt Disney World theme parks | $35 a day | Preferred $50–$60 | Included for Disney Resort guests |
| Universal Orlando parks and Epic Universe | $35 a day, tax included | Prime $50–$60 | One fee covers all four parks that day |
| SeaWorld Orlando | From $35–$37 + tax | Preferred, VIP | Varies by date |
| Universal Cabana Bay and Dockside | $26 + tax a night | None listed | Overnight hotel parking |
| Swan and Dolphin hotels | $40 + tax a day | Valet $51–$61 + tax | Hotel parking, not park parking |
Do the math for your own trip. A family spending five nights at a hotel that charges $30 a night pays $150 before tax just to park there. Add three Disney days and two Universal days and that’s another $175, so a free-parking hotel with a park shuttle can easily save you $300 or more. For a full budget, see our guide to how much an Orlando vacation costs.
How to choose a hotel with free parking
- Separate “free” from “included in the resort fee”: Drury and the Ramada list free parking; Orange Lake, Avanti and Encore bundle it into a fee you pay even without a car. Our list of Orlando hotels with no resort fees helps if that fee is the bigger concern.
- Check vehicle limits: Orange Lake caps you at two vehicles per reservation, and Westgate and Avanti don’t accept RVs or trucks. If you’re towing, the Ramada and Orange Lake are the ones that say they take RVs and trailers.
- Don’t assume a resort fee covers parking: The Grove Resort & Water Park, for example, charges a $49 resort fee and $35 plus tax per vehicle per night for parking, according to its FAQ.
- Consider “almost free”: Rosen Inn International on I-Drive charges no resort fee and $10 a night for parking, tax included, capped at $50 per car for the stay.
- Use the shuttle on park days: a free or fee-covered shuttle skips the $35 park parking charge. Our cheap hotels near Disney World with shuttles list has more options.
- Pick the area first: Kissimmee and US-192 suit Disney, while Sand Lake Road and Turkey Lake Road suit Universal. Our guide to where to stay in Orlando compares the neighborhoods, and our cheap hotels in Orlando roundup covers more low-cost stays.

Frequently asked questions
Do Orlando hotels charge for parking?
Many do, especially larger resorts near the parks and on International Drive. At the time of writing, Universal’s Cabana Bay and Dockside charge $26 plus tax a night, the Swan and Dolphin charge $40 a day plus tax, and The Grove charges $35 plus tax a night. Budget and villa properties in Kissimmee are the likeliest to offer free parking, but check each hotel’s policy before you book.
Is parking free at Disney World hotels?
Yes at Disney-owned resorts. Disney says overnight self-parking is free for Disney Resort hotel guests, and standard theme park parking is included during the stay. Hotels on Disney property that Disney doesn’t own, such as the Swan and Dolphin, charge their own parking fees, even though their guests may get other Disney perks. Check the hotel’s own policy before you assume it’s free.
How much is parking at Disney World and Universal?
At the time of writing, standard theme park parking is $35 a day at Walt Disney World, with preferred parking at $50 to $60. Universal’s regular self-parking is also $35, tax included, and covers its theme parks including Epic Universe, with Prime parking at $50 to $60. SeaWorld’s online parking calendar listed general parking at $37 to $42 plus tax, depending on the date, when we checked in October 2026, although an FAQ on the same page still says parking starts at $35. Prices vary by season, so check the official pages before you go.
Which hotels near Universal have free parking?
Drury Inn & Suites near Universal Orlando Resort lists free parking during your stay and a free shuttle to all of Universal’s theme parks, including Epic Universe, and it doesn’t list a resort fee. Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa also offers free self-parking and a free Universal Studios shuttle, but it charges a $29.99-plus-tax nightly resort fee. Universal’s own hotels, such as Cabana Bay and Dockside, charge for overnight parking.
Which hotels near Disney have free parking?
Disney-owned resorts include free overnight parking and free standard theme park parking. Off-site, Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway lists free parking, including for RVs and trailers, about a mile from Walt Disney World. Westgate Vacation Villas Resort offers free self-parking but charges a resort fee. At Orange Lake and Encore at Reunion, parking is covered by the resort fee instead.
Is parking included in a resort fee the same as free parking?
Not quite. When parking is part of a mandatory resort fee, as at Avanti, Orange Lake and Encore, you pay that fee every night whether or not you bring a car. Free parking at a hotel with no resort fee, like Drury Inn & Suites near Universal, costs nothing extra. Compare the total nightly cost, including fee, parking and tax, rather than the headline room rate.
Bottom line
If you’re driving, Drury Inn & Suites near Universal gives you genuinely free parking with no resort fee listed, and the Ramada Kissimmee Gateway lists free parking too, though Wyndham lists a $20.43 nightly resort fee there. The Westgate resorts are free to park but add a $29.99 fee, while Avanti, Orange Lake and Encore cover parking through theirs. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book, so compare the full price with taxes and fees before you commit. Check your dates at Drury Inn & Suites near Universal Orlando Resort.
