Hampton Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista is a mid-priced Hilton hotel at 8150 Palm Parkway, about 2 road miles from Disney Springs, that keeps the extras low: a free hot breakfast, self-parking listed at $7 a day and no resort fee in the price breakdown we checked on Booking.com. It is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel, which means Disney lists it on its own site, but that label brings none of the on-property perks such as Early Theme Park Entry.

We checked Hilton’s page (a June 2026 archived capture), Disney’s Good Neighbor listing, Booking.com’s price breakdown for three sample stays and the shuttle operator’s October 2026 timetable. Distances are our own road routes. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.

Quick answer: Book Hampton Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista if you have a car and want breakfast included with almost no add-on fees: $7-a-day parking at last check and no resort fee. The scheduled shuttle is a backup, with one morning run each to Universal Studios, Epic Universe, Hollywood Studios and EPCOT and an evening run to Disney Springs, but no direct Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom or SeaWorld service. For Disney perks or a walk to Disney Springs, pay more in fees at a Disney Springs Resort Area hotel.

Location: Palm Parkway, between Disney Springs and SeaWorld

The hotel sits on Palm Parkway, a road of hotels and timeshare resorts running north from Apopka-Vineland Road to Central Florida Parkway. Hilton’s “less than two miles from Walt Disney World” most likely refers to Disney’s property line, and its figures of 3.5 miles to EPCOT and 4 to Hollywood Studios are close to straight-line distances.

DestinationRoad distance (our route)Time without traffic
Disney Springs (Lime garage)About 2.2 miles (3.7 back)6 to 10 minutes
EPCOT main parking lotAbout 7 miles (6.4 to the toll plaza)14 to 18 minutes
Hollywood Studios parkingAbout 6.5 to 7.5 miles17 minutes
Magic Kingdom (Transportation and Ticket Center)About 7.5 miles16 minutes
Animal Kingdom parkingAbout 7.5 to 8.5 miles14 to 17 minutes
SeaWorld OrlandoAbout 3 miles7 minutes
Universal Orlando garagesAbout 7 to 8 miles13 to 16 minutes
Epic Universe parkingAbout 6.5 miles13 minutes
Orlando International Airport (Terminal A)About 15 to 15.5 miles via SR 528 (toll)23 to 26 minutes

The Magic Kingdom route uses Buena Vista Drive, Live Oak Lane, Vista Boulevard and World Drive; we avoided the Disney-restricted stretch of Vista Boulevard north of Live Oak Lane, which would save only about 0.3 mile. Return legs can run up to 1.5 miles longer, so treat every figure as approximate. Booking.com puts Universal at 8.3 miles and the airport at 12; Hilton says 20 to the airport. Walking to Disney Springs means about 2.3 miles on busy roads, so drive (Disney Springs parking is free) or take the evening shuttle. The Vineland Premium Outlets are a 2-mile drive via Daryl Carter Parkway; our guide to hotels near the Vineland outlets compares the walkable options across I-4.

Rooms: two queens or a king, about 300 square feet

On Booking.com, for three sample stays in November 2026, December 2026 and February 2027, the hotel offered two room types: a Queen Room with two queen beds and a King Room listed as a mobility-accessible room, both 28 square meters (about 300 square feet). A search for two adults and two children aged 6 and 9 showed the queen rooms at a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children, with no charge for the children; the king rooms were limited to 2 adults. Confirm with the hotel if you need a standard king or four adults in a room.

Disney’s listing details the in-room kit: microwave and mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron, flat-screen HDTV and remote-controlled shades, plus connecting and accessible rooms; Hilton adds streaming entertainment and free Wi-Fi. Booking.com’s room details mention no sofa beds. The hotel’s photos include an accessible bathroom with a roll-in shower; ask for one when you book if you need it. One conflict: Disney’s listing includes a crib among the room amenities, while Booking.com says “cribs and extra beds aren’t available at this property”, so ask the hotel. Booking.com also lists a refundable US$250 damage deposit (by credit card, on arrival) and a minimum check-in age of 18. Check-in is 3:00 pm and check-out 11:00 am on every source we read.

Pool and recreation

There is one free-form outdoor pool on a brick-paver deck behind a white fence, with loungers, umbrellas, palm trees and a small hot tub beside it. Booking.com lists the pool as free, open all year and for all ages, and the hot tub under wellness facilities. Neither Hilton nor Booking.com says whether the pool is heated, so ask before a winter stay. There are no slides, lazy river or splash pad, but there is an outdoor patio with tables under red umbrellas.

Dining and breakfast

Breakfast is the hotel’s biggest included perk. Hilton calls it a free hot breakfast and Disney’s listing gives the hours, 7:00 to 10:00 am. The hotel’s own photo of the buffet shows covered food warmers, a Mickey-shaped waffle iron, fruit baskets, a bakery case, cereal dispensers and a juice machine. Booking.com’s summary labels it “continental” though Hilton says hot, so check the spread if hot items matter.

There is no restaurant, bar or room service; a lobby pantry sells snacks, frozen meals and drinks. For dinner, Disney Springs and the outlets are each about 2 miles away. If breakfast is driving your choice, compare the other Orlando hotels with free breakfast near the theme parks.

Parking and fees: what you pay on top of the rate

Hilton’s hotel page listed self-parking at $7.00 per day in the April and June 2026 captures we read, and Booking.com said the same in October 2026: “public parking is available on site (reservation is not needed) and costs US$7 per day”. But Disney’s Good Neighbor listing says “complimentary self-parking”, as did Hilton’s hotel-information page in a February 2024 capture, so the $7 charge looks recent: budget for it and confirm at check-in. There is no valet, EV charging or covered parking.

No resort fee appeared anywhere: Hilton’s policy section lists none, and Booking.com’s price breakdown for each sample stay showed the room rate plus a 6% tax and a 6.5% “city tax” (12.5% in all) and nothing else. Other charges: pets cost a non-refundable $75 for 1 to 4 nights or $125 for 5 or more (two dogs or cats maximum, 25 pounds each), and smoking in a room brings a fee of up to $250. Our cheap hotels near Disney World guide compares these daily extras across 12 budget hotels.

Transport to the parks: the shuttle, by the operator’s timetable

Hilton’s page mentions a “free shuttle to Disney, Universal Orlando, and Epic Universe” but elsewhere says “(fee may apply)”. The operator is Platinum Transportation, whose schedule page carries a Hampton Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista timetable effective October 5, 2026; schedules change on notice, so check the current sheet at the front desk.

DestinationDeparts the hotelReturn departs the parkReturn pickup
Universal Studios7:10 am7:15 pmLane 77
Epic Universe7:10 am7:35 pmLane 67
Disney’s Hollywood Studios9:30 am4:15 pmLane 68
EPCOT10:40 am10:30 pmLane 33
Disney Springs5:15 pm11:05 pmBus loop, lane 2

There is no direct run to the Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom. The timetable notes that Disney’s buses, monorail and boats are free between parks until closing, so you could ride to EPCOT and take the monorail via the Transportation and Ticket Center, but that run leaves at 10:40 am. The 2023 timetable’s Magic Kingdom and SeaWorld runs have gone. The Disney departures also arrive after typical park opening times, so rope-droppers should drive and pay Disney’s $35 standard parking.

Rules: first come, first served (wheelchair users reserve 24 hours ahead); be at the stop 10 minutes early; no groups of 10 or more; umbrella strollers only; no service to Disney’s ticketed parties. The timetable states no fare, and its note that Platinum does “NOT provide complimentary transportation” to Disney’s special events implies the regular runs are free, as Disney and Booking.com say; with Hilton’s “fee may apply”, confirm at check-in. Drivers may switch the drop-off to another Disney park, and luggage and scooters are not allowed. Hilton lists no airport shuttle.

Amenities: Wi-Fi, fitness center, business center and laundry

Hilton’s page lists free Wi-Fi in rooms and the lobby, a fitness center (treadmills, elliptical trainers, a bike and dumbbells in the hotel’s photo), a business center with two computers and a printer, a concierge desk that sells theme park tickets, connecting rooms, Digital Key and streaming entertainment, all in a non-smoking building. Booking.com adds a 24-hour front desk, guest laundry and an elevator. There is no spa or kids’ club.

Hilton’s Honors terms (October 2026 capture) exclude “third party websites bookings (irrespective of rate paid)” from earning points, so compare Hilton’s own rate if points matter; breakfast and the pool come with the room either way. Our round-up of Hilton hotels near Disney World shows which Hilton-family hotels get Disney perks and which, like this one, do not.

Who the Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista suits

Couples and families of four with a car gain most: breakfast before you leave, $7 parking, and SeaWorld, Disney Springs, EPCOT and Universal within about 20 minutes’ drive without traffic, ideal for a week split between Disney and Universal. It is a weaker fit for families who want to walk to Disney Springs at night, guests without a car who plan Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom days, and anyone who wants a resort pool, a bar or an on-site dinner. For a wider field, see our best hotels in Lake Buena Vista.

Pros

  • Free hot breakfast every morning, 7:00 to 10:00 am.
  • Self-parking at $7 a day at last check and no resort fee, so the rate you see is close to what you pay plus 12.5% tax.
  • A published shuttle timetable from a named operator, with early runs to Universal Studios and Epic Universe and an evening Disney Springs run.
  • Microwave and mini fridge in the rooms, a lobby pantry and connecting rooms for families.
  • Central position: about 2 miles to Disney Springs and the outlets, about 3 to SeaWorld and within about 8.5 miles of every Disney and Universal park by road.

Limitations to know

  • No Disney perks: not on the Early Theme Park Entry list, no Extended Evening Hours and no 7-day Lightning Lane window.
  • No direct shuttle to the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom or SeaWorld, and only one departure a day to each park it does serve.
  • Official pages disagree on parking (complimentary on Disney’s listing, $7 on Hilton’s and Booking.com) and on whether the shuttle is free.
  • Only two room types on Booking.com, with the king rooms shown as accessible rooms for 2 adults; no suites and no sofa beds listed.
  • No restaurant, bar, room service or spa, a small pool with no slides, and cribs listed by Disney but not by Booking.com.

What to check before you book

  • Occupancy: enter every traveler with ages when you search; confirm with the hotel if you need four adults in a room or a standard king room.
  • Parking and shuttle costs: ask the front desk whether the $7 parking charge and any shuttle fare apply on your dates, and pick up the current Platinum Transportation sheet.
  • Cribs and deposits: request a crib directly with the hotel, and have a credit card ready for the US$250 damage hold listed on Booking.com.

For Disney perks, try Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando in the Disney Springs Resort Area: free hot breakfast plus the evening 5:30 Kickback with hot food and drinks, a walk-on shuttle to all four Disney parks, no resort fee and Early Theme Park Entry, at the price of $28-a-night parking (its FAQ still says $25 plus tax) and a higher rate. Frequently asked questions

Does Hampton Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista have a free shuttle to Disney World?

It has a scheduled shuttle run by Platinum Transportation. The timetable effective October 5, 2026 lists one departure each to Hollywood Studios (9:30 am), EPCOT (10:40 am), Universal Studios and Epic Universe (both 7:10 am) and Disney Springs (5:15 pm), with one return from each, and no direct Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom run. Disney’s listing and Booking.com call it free, but Hilton’s page says both “free” and “fee may apply”, so confirm at check-in.

How far is Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista from Disney Springs and the theme parks?

By our public-road routes, Disney Springs is about 2.2 miles, EPCOT’s main parking lot about 7, Hollywood Studios about 7, the Magic Kingdom’s Transportation and Ticket Center about 7.5 and Animal Kingdom about 8. SeaWorld is about 3 miles and Universal’s garages 7 to 8. Hilton’s “less than two miles from Walt Disney World” most likely means the edge of Disney’s property, not a park entrance.

Is parking free at Hampton Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista?

Probably not, but it is cheap. Hilton’s hotel page listed self-parking at $7.00 per day in its April and June 2026 captures, and Booking.com showed US$7 per day in October 2026. Disney’s Good Neighbor listing still says complimentary self-parking, as did Hilton’s hotel-information page in early 2024, so the charge looks recent. Budget $7 a night and ask at check-in.

Does Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista charge a resort fee?

No resort fee appeared on any source we checked. Hilton’s policy section lists only parking, pet and smoking charges, and Booking.com’s price breakdown for sample stays in November 2026, December 2026 and February 2027 showed the room rate plus a 6% tax and a 6.5% “city tax” (12.5% in all) and nothing else. Booking.com does list a refundable US$250 damage deposit on arrival.

Is breakfast included at Hampton Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista?

Yes. Hilton lists a free hot breakfast, Disney’s listing gives the hours as 7:00 to 10:00 am, and every rate we saw on Booking.com was marked “breakfast included”. The hotel’s buffet photo shows covered food warmers, a Mickey-shaped waffle iron, fruit, pastries and juice. Booking.com’s summary calls it continental, so check the day’s hot items if they matter and verify the breakfast line in your booking.

Does Hampton Inn Lake Buena Vista get Disney Early Theme Park Entry?

No. Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry page, which Disney says runs through 2027, lists its own Resort hotels plus 15 other select hotels, among them the eight Disney Springs Resort Area hotels, the Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve, Four Seasons, Signia, Waldorf Astoria and Shades of Green. No Hampton Inn is on it; the Good Neighbor label is a listing program, not a perk program.

Bottom line

Hampton Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista is a sensible, low-fee base for Disney and Universal trips with a car: free hot breakfast, $7 parking at last check, no resort fee and a central address about 2 miles from Disney Springs. The shuttle is a bonus for Universal, Epic Universe, Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Disney Springs days, not a substitute for a car on Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom days. Confirm the parking charge and the shuttle fare when you check in.
