The best cheap hotels near EPCOT are budget and midscale hotels in the Disney Springs Resort Area and Lake Buena Vista, about 5 to 7 road miles from EPCOT’s main parking lot, that either run a shuttle to EPCOT or keep fees and parking low. None is within walking distance of the park, but three get Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry and seven list a shuttle that serves EPCOT.
We compared eight hotels on what an EPCOT day really costs: resort fee, hotel parking, Disney’s $35 EPCOT parking, breakfast and how often the bus goes there, all checked on official pages in October 2026. We don’t quote room rates, which change daily.

Quick answer: For the most included, book Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area: no resort fee, a free hot breakfast and evening Kickback, a free shuttle with no reservations (16 EPCOT departures a day in the week we checked) and Early Theme Park Entry. Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista is the closest by road, about 5 miles, but adds a $36 resort fee. For the lowest add-ons, Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista charges no resort fee and $10 parking, with one free EPCOT bus a day. Buena Vista Suites is the cheap way to get a separate bedroom.

How we chose these cheap hotels near EPCOT
No review scores, star ratings or paid placements. Every hotel had to pass four tests:
- Close by public road: within about 7 miles of EPCOT’s main parking lot on OSRM routes over public roads. Hotels’ own “miles from Walt Disney World” figures are usually much shorter than the drive to a park’s parking lot.
- Budget or value: economy, midscale or extended-stay hotels, or hotels whose published add-ons are low. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book.
- A way to EPCOT: a shuttle that lists EPCOT on the hotel’s or operator’s page or schedule, or cheap parking for drivers.
- Verified costs: fees, parking and shuttle rules from official hotel and Disney pages, plus Booking.com’s fine print and sample price breakdowns.

What an EPCOT day really costs at a cheap hotel
If you drive, Disney charges $35 a day for standard theme park parking, tax included ($50, $55 or $60 for preferred), on top of hotel parking. Disney Resort hotel guests get standard parking included; guests of the hotels on this list don’t. Four hotels here also charge a resort or hotel fee of $23 to $39 plus tax; at Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Resort and Buena Vista Suites it covers the park shuttle.

Two examples with the published numbers: four nights at Wyndham Garden with a car add $264 before tax ($36 resort fee plus $30 parking, times four), while four nights at Rosen Inn add $40 in parking, tax included. Every day you also drive to EPCOT adds $35.

1. Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista – Disney Springs Area
The Wyndham Garden’s 394 rooms fill two five-story courtyard buildings on a two-hotel campus at 1850 Hotel Plaza Boulevard; the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista tower is the other half, and both share the Oasis pool area and restaurants. EPCOT’s main lot is about 5.1 miles away by road, roughly 15 minutes. Disney Springs is a 5- to 7-minute walk across a pedestrian bridge, by the resort’s count.
- Why stay: the closest cheap hotel to EPCOT by road, with 30-minute Early Theme Park Entry at all four parks every day.
- Getting there / to the parks: hourly shuttles to EPCOT and the other three parks run from 90 minutes before opening until 90 minutes after closing, so the first bus works for Early Entry. Reservations are required; there’s no service to water parks, runDisney or after-hours events.
- Good to know: the resort fee is $36 plus tax a night and gated self-parking $30 plus tax. Meals aren’t included (the Lakeview Restaurant sells a breakfast buffet), rooms have a refrigerator but no microwave (there’s one in the SunDial Café), and the minimum check-in age is 18.

2. Holiday Inn Orlando – Disney Springs Area
This Holiday Inn at 1805 Hotel Plaza Boulevard appears on Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list as “Holiday Inn Orlando”, and the hotel puts Disney Springs a 7- to 10-minute walk away. EPCOT’s main lot is about 5.3 miles by road. Rooms average 357 square feet, all have a refrigerator and microwave, and most have a balcony.
- Why stay: Early Entry plus Kids Eat Free in the Palm Breezes restaurant: under the hotel’s terms, up to four children 11 and under per family per meal, when a registered adult orders a full-price main course.
- Getting there / to the parks: the $39-plus-tax resort fee covers hourly buses to all four parks. Book seats for your whole party at the front desk or by QR code, up to 48 hours ahead. Departures currently start an hour before park opening and serve Early Entry, but not special or after-hours events.
- Good to know: standard parking is $27 a day and preferred $31, plus tax. Breakfast isn’t included unless your rate says so, the minimum check-in age is 21, and pets aren’t allowed (service animals are).

3. Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando – Disney Springs Area
Drury Plaza may not show the lowest nightly rate, but it can come out ahead once extras are added. There’s no resort fee, and every stay includes a free hot breakfast (6 to 10 am) and the 5:30 Kickback with free evening snacks and drinks (5:30 to 7:30 pm). The 602-room hotel at 2000 Hotel Plaza Boulevard has a heated saltwater pool, whirlpool and splash pad. EPCOT’s main lot is about 5.5 miles by road.
- Why stay: no resort fee, two free meals a day and Early Theme Park Entry in one package. It’s also the only Disney Springs pick here that takes pets: up to two dogs or cats, 80 pounds combined, for $50 a day per room plus tax.
- Getting there / to the parks: a free shuttle to all four parks leaves from the front canopy with no reservations; seats are first come, first served. The schedule for October 12 to 18, 2026 listed 16 EPCOT departures from 7:10 am to 8:05 pm and returns from Lane 36 between 11:05 am and 10:20 pm. Buses make at least two stops per route.
- Good to know: self-parking is $28 a night on the hotel information page, while the FAQ still says $25 plus tax, so confirm it. Two-queen rooms sleep up to five and queen suites up to six, and the minimum age to reserve is 18.

4. Buena Vista Suites
Buena Vista Suites, at 8203 World Center Drive next to its sister resort Caribe Royale Orlando, is the cheapest way on this list to put a door between parents and kids. Queen Suites have a bedroom with two queen beds and a living room with a queen sofa bed, sleep five and measure 432 square feet. EPCOT’s main lot is about 6 miles by road; the hotel’s own 1.5-mile figure is to Walt Disney World Resort, not a park gate.
- Why stay: a real separate bedroom, a free breakfast buffet (6:30 to 10 am on weekdays, 7 to 10:30 am on weekends) and free self-parking.
- Getting there / to the parks: the $23-plus-tax nightly hotel fee covers a scheduled shuttle to all four parks and an evening shuttle to Disney Springs. The shuttle page lists EPCOT departures at 9:20 and 11:20 am and 5:05, 7:05 and 8:05 pm, with returns from space 27 at 5:30, 7:30, 8:35 and 10:35 pm, so there’s no midday ride back. It says to book by QR code at Guest Services from 24 hours to one hour ahead, first come, first served, while the FAQ says to register at the Concierge Desk at least 24 hours ahead. Groups of 10 or more can’t ride, and buses leave from the “Main Reception Building Bus Stop”, so ask where to board.
- Good to know: the fee also covers basic Wi-Fi and afternoon pickleball and padel court time at Caribe Royale. The pool is heated in colder months, with no lifeguard. No pets (service animals are welcome).

5. Holiday Inn Resort Orlando – Lake Buena Vista
Outside Disney property at 13351 State Road 535, this resort’s family draw is the KidSuite: a king bed plus a kids’ area with one or two sets of bunk beds, sleeping four (381 square feet; the FAQ says five) or six (397). Standard two-queen rooms sleep four. The heated pool has two whirlpools and a splash pad, and there’s an arcade and a kids’ movie theater. EPCOT’s main lot is about 6.3 miles by road via State Road 535 and I-4.
- Why stay: bunk-bed suites and a fee-covered shuttle with two morning EPCOT departures, plus Universal and Epic Universe runs.
- Getting there / to the parks: the schedule effective October 5, 2026 lists EPCOT departures at 8:00 and 10:10 am and one return from EPCOT’s Lane 33 at 10:30 pm, plus Hollywood Studios at 11:25 am. Seats are first come, first served with the operator, Platinum Transportation. Allow 30 to 40 minutes a trip; groups of 10 or more can’t ride, only umbrella strollers fit, and the driver may switch you to another Disney park if traffic or weather requires it.
- Good to know: the resort fee is $30 plus tax and also covers the movie theater and pool activities; parking is $20 a day. Breakfast isn’t complimentary (a hot buffet opens at 6:30 am). The hotel’s terms limit Kids Eat Free to children 11 and under, while its FAQ says 12 and under.

6. Hyatt Place Orlando/Lake Buena Vista
This Hyatt Place at 8688 Palm Parkway is a driver’s pick. Booking.com’s breakdown for our sample stay showed no resort fee, its Booking.com page lists self-parking at $18 a day, and Hyatt’s own page (November 2025 capture) promises a free breakfast every day at The Breakfast Bar. Booking.com also sells Family Rooms with a king or two queens plus a bunk bed and a sofa bed. EPCOT’s main lot is about 6.8 miles by road, roughly 17 minutes.
- Why stay: low add-ons for a driving trip, breakfast and bunk-bed family rooms.
- Getting there / to the parks: Hyatt’s page (November 2025 capture) invited guests to reserve a shuttle spot to Disney World, but no timetable is published, and Booking.com’s fine print still carries a COVID-era notice that shuttle service is suspended. Ask the hotel for EPCOT times, or plan to drive and pay Disney’s $35 parking.
- Good to know: on Booking.com, some rates list breakfast as an optional extra and others as included, so pick one that includes it. Up to two dogs (50 pounds each, 75 combined) cost $75 a stay for one to six nights, per Hyatt’s November 2025 page.
Best for: families with a car who want breakfast and bunk beds without a resort fee.

7. Candlewood Suites Orlando – Lake Buena Vista
IHG’s extended-stay brand at 12341 Winter Garden Vineland Road puts a full kitchen in every studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suite, with specialty appliances to borrow, plus a free guest laundry and barbecue grills by the pool. EPCOT’s main lot is about 6.8 miles by road.
- Why stay: cooking your own meals is the biggest saving on a long stay.
- Getting there / to the parks: IHG describes a newly launched, complimentary scheduled shuttle to Hollywood Studios, EPCOT and Disney Springs, with daily departures and evening returns, first come, first served. No Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom runs are listed and the times aren’t published, so call ahead.
- Good to know: covered parking is $30 a day per IHG and Booking.com. IHG lists no restaurant or breakfast, housekeeping is weekly, and up to two pets under 80 pounds cost $75 for one to six nights or $150 for seven or more. Booking.com’s breakdown for our sample stay showed no resort fee, and its fine print lists a US$50 damage deposit on arrival.
Best for: longer stays, families who cook and travelers with a dog.

8. Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista
Rosen Inn, at 8442 Palm Parkway, keeps the extras lowest: no resort fees, and gated self-parking at $10 per car per night, tax included, capped at five nights ($50) a stay. There are two seasonally heated pools, Ozzie’s Splash Zone for small children and a playground. EPCOT’s main lot is about 7 miles by road, roughly 17 minutes.
- Why stay: the lowest add-ons on this list and a free shuttle that goes to EPCOT, plus free runs to Universal and Epic Universe.
- Getting there / to the parks: the posted schedule lists one EPCOT departure at 10:35 am, returning from Lane 35 at 10:15 pm, plus Hollywood Studios at 9:25 and 11:30 am and Disney Springs at 5:10 pm. The hotel information page says seats are first come, first served, while the FAQ says reservations are required, so ask at Guest Services.
- Good to know: breakfast at the Boardwalk Buffet is paid, and one child 5 and under eats free with each paying adult (the FAQ says under 5). Up to two dogs are welcome with prior approval at $15 per dog per night, and you must be 18 to book.

The cheapest Disney resorts for EPCOT: Pop Century and Art of Animation
If you would rather stay inside Walt Disney World, the Value Resorts with the most direct link to EPCOT are Pop Century and Art of Animation. Both have a Disney Skyliner station, and Disney says the gondola network connects them with Hollywood Studios and International Gateway, EPCOT’s World Showcase entrance. Disney’s page shows their route running to Caribbean Beach, where you change to the line that continues via the Riviera to EPCOT; Caribbean Beach itself is a Moderate Resort in the EPCOT Resort Area.
- What you get: Early Theme Park Entry, Lightning Lane purchases up to 7 days before your stay, complimentary overnight self-parking and standard theme park parking included.
- Skyliner hours: it opens an hour before Early Theme Park Entry at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios and closes 90 minutes after they close. Disney lists a refurbishment closure from January 24 to 30, 2027, with complimentary buses instead.
- Work in progress: Disney currently flags construction and refurbishment at Pop Century and Caribbean Beach and refurbishments at Art of Animation.
A Value Resort suits travelers without a car; an off-site hotel usually wins for a separate bedroom (Art of Animation’s six-person Family Suites aside), an included breakfast or a driving trip.
Getting to EPCOT from an off-site hotel
EPCOT has two entrances. The parking lot serves the main entrance by Spaceship Earth, with courtesy trams to the gate, while the Skyliner and the walkways from Disney’s EPCOT-area resorts reach International Gateway in World Showcase. Hotel buses pick up at numbered lanes, so note your return lane (Lane 36 for Drury, Lane 35 for Rosen Inn, space 27 for Buena Vista Suites). Disney warns that the Skyliner can’t take you back to the parking lot after closing.
- For Early Entry: EPCOT opens 30 minutes early for guests of participating hotels, with rides such as Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Frozen Ever After and Test Track planned to run. Wyndham Garden’s and Drury’s first buses leave 90 minutes before opening, Holiday Inn’s an hour before.
- For a late night: check the last return. In the schedules we saw, the last EPCOT buses left at 10:15 pm (Rosen Inn), 10:20 pm (Drury), 10:30 pm (Holiday Inn Resort) and 10:35 pm (Buena Vista Suites). Wyndham Garden, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Resort say their buses skip special and after-hours events.
- Lightning Lane: guests of every off-site hotel on this list can buy passes 3 days ahead; the 7-day window is for Disney Resort hotels plus the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green.

- No car, want Early Entry: Drury Plaza, Wyndham Garden or Holiday Inn, with frequent buses; compare all eight Disney Springs Resort Area hotels.
- Lowest add-ons with a car: Rosen Inn ($10 parking) or Hyatt Place ($18 parking and breakfast).
- Breakfast included: Drury, Buena Vista Suites, or Hyatt Place on a rate that includes it.
- A separate bedroom: Buena Vista Suites or a Drury queen suite; Candlewood’s one- and two-bedroom suites add a full kitchen.
- Bunk beds: Holiday Inn Resort’s KidSuites or Hyatt Place’s Family Rooms.
- Disney and Universal in one trip: Rosen Inn and Holiday Inn Resort run buses to Universal and Epic Universe too.

Disney’s Value Resorts, including Pop Century and Art of Animation, get it too; the other five hotels here do not.
Is it cheaper to drive to EPCOT or take the hotel shuttle?
The shuttle usually is. Driving costs $35 a day for standard EPCOT parking, tax included, on top of hotel parking of up to $30 a night (free at Buena Vista Suites). The shuttle is free at Drury, Rosen Inn and Candlewood, complimentary at Wyndham Garden and covered by the fee at three others. Driving wins on flexibility where a hotel runs only one or two EPCOT buses a day.
What is the cheapest Disney resort near EPCOT?
Disney’s cheapest category is the Value Resort, and the two Value Resorts on the Skyliner gondola to EPCOT’s International Gateway are Pop Century and Art of Animation. Caribbean Beach, a Moderate Resort, is the Skyliner hub. You book them through Disney, not Booking.com, and they include Early Entry, the 7-day Lightning Lane window and free standard theme park parking.
Can you walk to EPCOT from a cheap hotel?
No. Every budget hotel here is 5 to 7 road miles from EPCOT’s main lot. Hotels within walking distance include Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, Beach Club and Yacht Club and the Walt Disney World Swan, Dolphin and Swan Reserve, which cost more; the Swan and Dolphin add a $50 daily resort service package plus tax.
