The best 2 bedroom suites near Universal Studios Orlando fall into two groups: Universal’s own hotel suites, which come with Early Park Admission and free buses but no full kitchen, and off-site condo-style suites with kitchens and more space. We compared ten, five on Universal property and five within about 5 miles of the gates, all with a second bedroom behind its own door.
Sizes, fees and shuttles come from the hotels’ official pages, checked in October 2026; where two official pages disagree, we give both. Road distances are OSRM routes to the toll plazas of Universal’s garages and Epic Universe’s parking. Disney-first trip? See our 2- and 3-bedroom suites near Disney World.
Quick answer: For big groups on property, book Loews Royal Pacific (2-Bedroom Hospitality Suite for 10 or 11, with free Universal Express) or Loews Sapphire Falls (2-Bedroom Sapphire Suite for 10; no Express, so rates usually run lower). On a budget, Endless Summer’s 440 sq ft 2-Bedroom Suites sleep 6, and Cabana Bay’s 772 sq ft suite sleeps 8 with two bathrooms. For a real kitchen, go off-site: Westgate Lakes (sleeps 8, laundry, free parking), the Residence Inn Near Universal (two bathrooms, free breakfast) or Westgate Palace (free Universal shuttle).

How we chose
We only list suites with two separate bedrooms on the hotel’s own rooms page, not one-room “family suites”. For each we noted official size and occupancy, the listed kitchen equipment, how you reach the parks, and the fixed extras: resort fees, parking and extra-adult charges. We don’t score hotels or quote rates; the Booking.com links show live prices.

Fees are per night before tax as published in October 2026; Orange County adds 12.5% hotel tax to the room rate. “Up to” counts sleeper sofas.
Before you book: four things that change the math
- Occupancy counts sleeper sofas. “Up to 8” at Cabana Bay means two full beds, a queen and a pull-out sofa. Count real beds for the people who won’t share.
- Universal charges per extra adult. Loews lists $15 (Endless Summer), $20 (Cabana Bay), $25 (Sapphire Falls) or $55 (Royal Pacific) per adult beyond two “per room” (Universal’s Hard Rock page calls it daily); the big suites are a suite joined to a bedroom, so ask how they’re counted.
- A kitchenette is not a kitchen. No Loews suite description mentions a stove. Off-site, Westgate Lakes lists a range, Westgate Palace’s room list names a microwave and refrigerator while its Booking.com listing adds a stovetop and oven, and the Residence Inn and Sonesta list full kitchens.
- Perks stay on property. Every Universal hotel includes Early Park Admission; free Express Unlimited comes only with Royal Pacific, Hard Rock and Portofino Bay. Loews’ terms say other visitors need a park ticket that states the Early Park Admission benefit.
1. Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort

Cabana Bay is the only value-tier Universal hotel with a suite for 7 or 8. Loews lists the Volcano Bay View 2-Bedroom Suite at 772 sq ft for up to 8: two full beds in one bedroom, a queen in the other, a pull-out sofa, two full bathrooms and a kitchenette with a mini fridge and sink. The suites face Volcano Bay, which closes on October 26, 2026; Universal and Loews’ hotel page expect it back on or before April 1, 2027 (an older suite description says March 24). Two big pools, a lazy river, a waterslide and a 10-lane bowling alley round it out; our Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort guide compares it with the one-room Family Suites.
- Why stay: two bedrooms, two bathrooms and Early Park Admission, Epic Universe included, at value-tier prices.
- Getting there / to the parks: a walking path to CityWalk (about 1.1 miles, 20 to 25 minutes) and free buses about every 15 minutes, per Universal’s transportation guide, to CityWalk and Epic Universe; the Volcano Bay path closes with the park.
- Good to know: self-parking $26 plus tax, $20 per extra adult, 21 to book, no resort fee listed, no pets and no Express.
Best for: families of 7 or 8 who want on-site perks without Signature Collection prices.
See prices and availability at Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort
2. Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites

Dockside’s 2-Bedroom Suites are the lowest-tier way to get a second bedroom on Universal property. Loews lists them at 440 sq ft for up to 6: two queens in one bedroom, one queen in the other, a kitchenette with a picnic table, mini fridge and microwave, and one bathroom with separate bath and vanity areas. Dockside has two pools with pool bars, a splash pad, a lobby bar and the Pier 8 Market food court; our Universal Endless Summer Resort guide covers both hotels.
- Why stay: the cheapest Universal hotel tier with two bedrooms, plus Early Park Admission.
- Getting there / to the parks: buses only, to CityWalk, Epic Universe (about 3.3 miles by road) and, when open, Volcano Bay, starting an hour before Early Park Admission. Universal’s transportation guide says every 15 minutes; its hotel FAQ says every 30.
- Good to know: parking $26 plus tax, $15 per extra adult, 21 to book, no resort fee listed, no pets, no Express, one bathroom for six.
Best for: families of 5 or 6 on a budget who don’t need to walk to the parks.
3. Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites

Surfside, across Universal Boulevard from Dockside, sells the same 440 sq ft 2-Bedroom Suite for up to 6, plus Pool View and Water View versions. It’s the smaller hotel, with one surfboard-shaped pool, a splash pad and the Beach Break Cafe food court. Perks, buses, parking and extra-adult charges match Dockside, so book whichever is cheaper on your dates; our Cabana Bay vs Aventura vs Endless Summer comparison weighs the whole value tier.
- Why stay: Dockside’s budget suite in a smaller hotel, with lake-view suites available.
- Getting there / to the parks: free buses only (same 15- versus 30-minute discrepancy); about 3.3 miles by road to Epic’s parking.
- Good to know: parking $26 plus tax, $15 per extra adult, 21 to book, no resort fee listed and no walking path.
Best for: families of 5 or 6 who want Universal perks at the lowest on-site price tier.
4. Loews Sapphire Falls Resort

Sapphire Falls has the widest choice of two-bedroom layouts at Universal. Loews’ room cards list the 2-Bedroom Sapphire Suite at 1,172 sq ft for up to 10 (a king, two queens and a sleeper sofa), the 2-Bedroom King Suite at 916 sq ft for 9, a Kids’ Suite + 2 Queen Bedroom at 850 sq ft for 10, 2-Bedroom Hospitality Suites (1,674 sq ft, 8) and Lagoon View 2-Bedroom Presidential Suites (1,615 sq ft, 7). No kitchen is listed. The 16,000 sq ft zero-entry pool has a sand beach and a waterslide; see our Loews Sapphire Falls Resort guide.
- Why stay: up to 10 in one suite, with a water taxi and usually lower rates than the three Express hotels.
- Getting there / to the parks: free water taxi to CityWalk (Universal puts the average ride under 10 minutes), a walkway of under a mile, and buses about every 30 minutes, the only free way to Epic Universe.
- Good to know: self-parking $36 plus tax, valet $45, $25 per extra adult, rollaways $35 plus tax and a $150 pet fee; no resort fee listed and no Express.
Best for: groups of 7 to 10 who can skip Express or buy it for one day.
5. Loews Royal Pacific Resort

Royal Pacific is the suite to book when free Universal Express matters to a big group. Its 2-Bedroom Hospitality Suite pairs a king bedroom and a two-queen bedroom with a living room, sleeper sofa, dining table for eight, a pantry with fridge, microwave and sink, and a third bathroom. Loews’ pages disagree on its size: the room cards say 1,675 sq ft for up to 11, the suite description 1,340 sq ft and 10 with a rollaway, so confirm if you are 11. Every registered guest gets Express Unlimited at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure until the parks close on check-out day (not at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay); Loews values it at $199.99 per person per day, based on 2-park Express Unlimited prices of $124.99 to $389.99. Our Loews Royal Pacific Resort guide walks through the math.
- Why stay: a two-bedroom suite for 10 or 11 with Express included, which can beat buying Express for 8 or more.
- Getting there / to the parks: free water taxi to CityWalk, a walking path (TouringPlans times it at about 9 minutes to Islands of Adventure) and buses about every 30 minutes, including to Epic Universe.
- Good to know: self-parking $36 plus tax, valet $45, $55 per extra adult, rollaways $35 plus tax and a $150 pet fee; no resort fee listed.
Best for: groups of up to 10 or 11 spending two or more days in the original parks.
6. Residence Inn by Marriott Near Universal Orlando

This all-suite Marriott on Major Boulevard is the closest off-site two-bedroom on foot: about 1.3 miles (roughly 25 to 30 minutes) to CityWalk, and about 1.7 miles by road to Universal’s garage toll plaza. Marriott’s rooms page (archived September 2025) lists the 2 Bedroom Suite at 938 sq ft with a king, two queens, a sofa bed, two bathrooms and a full kitchen, but a maximum occupancy of 5, so ask before booking it for 6. Marriott calls it an official Universal Partner Hotel with a free breakfast buffet and park shuttle (June 2026 capture), but publishes no timetable.
- Why stay: two bathrooms, a full kitchen and free hot breakfast, tied with Westgate Palace for the shortest drive.
- Getting there / to the parks: about 4.6 miles to Epic Universe’s parking; ask for current shuttle times and whether it serves Epic.
- Good to know: free parking and no resort fee listed; check-in 4 pm, check-out 11 am, 21 to check in; pets $75 per stay (Marriott gives both 40 and 75 lb limits); housekeeping every other day.
Best for: families of 4 or 5 who want a kitchen and breakfast a short ride from the gates.
7. Westgate Palace Hotel / Universal / I-Drive

Westgate Palace, a two-tower condo hotel on Carrier Drive, lists two two-bedroom suite types: the Signature Two-Bedroom Suite (610 sq ft, up to 4, with a queen in the master bedroom and two twins in the second) and the Signature Two-Bedroom Deluxe Suite (700 sq ft, up to 6, adding a queen sleeper sofa). Both list two bathrooms, a washer and dryer, and a kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and cookware. There’s a heated pool, a kids’ wading pool, a hot tub, a deli and a sports bar; as at any Westgate, expect a timeshare preview offer you can decline.
- Why stay: two bathrooms and a listed washer and dryer about 1.7 to 1.8 miles from the garages, plus a free Universal shuttle.
- Getting there / to the parks: Westgate’s shuttle page lists Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, CityWalk and Epic Universe (about 3.2 miles away); book seats up to 48 hours ahead by QR code at the front desk. Service isn’t guaranteed; an older FAQ also mentions Disney and SeaWorld.
- Good to know: $24.99 plus tax resort fee including self-parking; check-in 4 pm, check-out 10 am, 21 to check in, no rollaways. Westgate’s pet FAQ allows two dogs (60 lb combined) for $150 plus tax per stay, but an older FAQ answer says no pets.
Best for: families of 4 to 6 who cook simple meals and want a low fee bundle close to Universal.
8. Las Palmeras, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club

Las Palmeras, across from the Orange County Convention Center, is about 1.8 miles from Epic Universe’s parking and 3.4 miles from Universal’s garages. Hilton Grand Vacations lists its 2-Bedroom Suites at 1,050 to 1,125 sq ft for 4 to 6, with two king beds, two full bathrooms, a sleeper sofa, a balcony and either a kitchenette or a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator. Two kings suit two couples best. The pool has a waterslide and splash pad, and there’s a pool bar and an arcade.
- Why stay: two king bedrooms and two bathrooms, closest of our off-site picks to Epic Universe.
- Getting there / to the parks: no theme park shuttle appears on HGV’s page, so plan on driving or rideshare.
- Good to know: HGV lists neither a resort fee nor a parking charge, so ask about both and confirm which kitchen your suite has. Booking.com calls it Hilton Grand Vacations Club Las Palmeras Orlando; expect a timeshare presentation offer.
Best for: two couples or a multigenerational group with Epic Universe high on the list.
9. Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa

Westgate Lakes is the pick for 7 or 8 people who want villa space. Westgate’s Two-Bedroom Villa is 1,200 sq ft for up to 8, with a king, two doubles and a queen sleeper sofa, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer and a balcony or patio; three- and four-bedroom villas sleep 12 and 16. The lakefront resort has seven outdoor pools, a marina, mini golf, a spa and the Treasure Cove water park, which needs a ticket on most rates. Our Westgate Lakes Resort review covers every villa and fee.
- Why stay: the most space per suite here, with laundry, free parking and a free Universal shuttle.
- Getting there / to the parks: about 4 to 4.7 miles by road to the garages and about 5 to Epic. Reserve shuttle seats after check-in, up to 48 hours ahead; Westgate lists Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe and CityWalk, but Booking.com’s notes say Universal’s transportation hub only.
- Good to know: $29.99 plus tax resort fee, free self-parking for cars and small to mid-size SUVs, 10 am check-out, up to two dogs (60 lb combined) for $150 plus tax per stay, and no Disney shuttle advertised.
Best for: big families with a car who will cook and do laundry.
10. Sonesta ES Suites Orlando – International Drive

Sonesta’s all-suite hotel across from the ICON Park wheel is the budget condo-style option, with fully equipped kitchens in every suite and two-bedroom suites for groups, about 2.7 miles by road from Universal’s garages and 2.9 from Epic’s parking. Sonesta doesn’t publish the two-bedroom’s size or beds. There’s a heated pool, a jacuzzi, laundry and The Morning Pour cafe, where breakfast costs extra.
- Why stay: one $17-plus-tax nightly resort fee covers self-parking, Wi-Fi and shuttles to Universal and Walt Disney World.
- Getting there / to the parks: two morning departures and two evening returns at Universal each day, to a stop serving the two original parks (Epic isn’t mentioned); reserve up to 48 hours ahead.
- Good to know: check-in 4 pm, check-out 11 am, 21 to check in, a refundable deposit of up to $250, weekly full cleaning on stays over 7 days, and pets for $75 (up to 7 nights) or $150.
Best for: budget-minded families who want a kitchen and a shuttle to both resorts.

See our Hard Rock Hotel Orlando guide, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel review, Universal Helios Grand Hotel guide, Universal Aventura Hotel review and Marriott’s Grande Vista review. Two popular kitchen hotels by the gates have no two-bedroom layout: Hyatt House across from Universal (studios, one-bedroom and bunk-bed family suites, per Hyatt’s October 2023 page) and Homewood Suites Nearest to Universal Studios (one-bedroom suites, October 2025 capture); our Orlando hotels with kitchens guide covers them.
On-site suite or off-site condo: what you trade
Universal’s suites buy you time: Early Park Admission up to an hour before opening at select attractions, free buses and, at Royal Pacific, Express. They also bring 21-to-book rules, $15 to $55 per extra adult, paid parking and no stove.
Off-site condos buy space and food savings: a real kitchen and, at both Westgate resorts, a washer and dryer. You pay with resort fees ($17 to $30 among our picks, none listed at the Residence Inn), timeshare marketing, shuttles with few departures and no Universal perks. Driving? Universal’s standard parking is $35 including tax at the time of writing, and Epic Universe has its own lot to the south, so the Residence Inn and Westgate Palace favor the original parks, Las Palmeras favors Epic, and Sonesta sits about halfway. Our hotels within walking distance of Universal are closer but mostly lack two bedrooms; if 5 or 6 can share one room, see rooms that sleep 5 or 6 at Disney World and Universal.
How to choose

Frequently asked questions
Which Universal Orlando hotels have 2-bedroom suites?
Most of them. Loews lists two-bedroom layouts at Cabana Bay (up to 8), Dockside and Surfside (6), Aventura (Kids’ Suite + 2-Queen Bedroom, 9), Sapphire Falls (up to 10), Royal Pacific (10 or 11, depending on the page), Hard Rock (8 or 9), Portofino Bay (up to 11) and Helios Grand (up to 10). The two prime value hotels beside Epic Universe list only standard rooms for 4.
How many people can sleep in a 2-bedroom suite at Cabana Bay or Endless Summer?
Cabana Bay’s 772 sq ft Volcano Bay View 2-Bedroom Suite sleeps up to 8 on two full beds, a queen and a sleeper sofa, with two bathrooms. Dockside and Surfside’s 440 sq ft suites sleep 6 on three queens, with one bathroom. Children count toward the maximum, and each adult beyond two adds $20 at Cabana Bay or $15 at Endless Summer at the time of writing.
Do 2-bedroom suites at Universal hotels include Express Pass?
Only at Loews Royal Pacific, Hard Rock Hotel and Loews Portofino Bay, where every registered guest gets Universal Express Unlimited at Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure until the parks close on check-out day. It doesn’t work at Epic Universe or Volcano Bay. Suites at Cabana Bay, Endless Summer, Aventura, Sapphire Falls and Helios Grand include Early Park Admission but not Express.
Which 2-bedroom suites near Universal have a full kitchen?
The off-site ones: the Residence Inn Near Universal, Westgate Lakes (with a range and a washer and dryer), Sonesta ES Suites International Drive and Westgate Palace, whose Booking.com listing shows a stovetop, oven and dishwasher, although Westgate’s own kitchen list names only a microwave and refrigerator. Las Palmeras has either a full kitchen or a kitchenette, so confirm. On Universal property you get kitchenettes, pantries or, in Helios Grand’s hospitality and presidential suites, a small kitchen with fridge and microwave, but no stove is listed.
Do off-site 2-bedroom suites near Universal get Early Park Admission?
Not with a room-only booking. Early Park Admission, free buses and Express are benefits of Universal’s own hotels, and Loews’ terms say anyone else must show a theme park ticket that states the Early Park Admission benefit. Partner hotels such as the Residence Inn advertise shuttles and discounts, not early entry, so read any package’s ticket terms before you count on it.
What is the cheapest way to get a 2-bedroom suite near Universal Studios?
On property, start with Dockside and Surfside, the value-tier Endless Summer hotels. Off-site, compare Sonesta and Westgate Palace, whose resort fees include parking, with the Residence Inn, which lists free parking and breakfast and no resort fee. Rates vary by season, availability and how far ahead you book, so price all of them and add the fixed extras and tax.
Bottom line
With park perks, Royal Pacific fits the most people among our picks and includes Express, Sapphire Falls fits 10 for less, and Endless Summer is the budget entry. If a kitchen and laundry matter more, Westgate Lakes, Westgate Palace and the Residence Inn give you condo-style space a short drive away. Count the beds, add the fees and confirm the shuttle. Check your dates for Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort to start comparing.
