True nightly cost: fees, parking and perks
With one car, the fixed add-on runs from $10 to $39.38 a night on top of the room rate and its tax (resort fee plus tax, and overnight self-parking, October 2026):
- Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa: your rate + $33.19 resort fee ($29.50 × 1.125) + $0 parking = rate + about $33.19.
- Floridays Resort Orlando: your rate + $39.38 resort fee ($35 × 1.125) + $0 parking = rate + $39.38.
- Staybridge Suites Orlando Royale Parc Suites: your rate + $20.43 resort fee ($18 × 1.135) + $10 parking = rate + $30.43.
- Westgate Vacation Villas Resort: your rate + $34.04 resort fee ($29.99 × 1.135) + $0 parking = rate + $34.04.
- Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek: your rate + $0 resort fee + $20 parking = rate + $20.
- Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort or Dockside Inn and Suites: your rate + $0 resort fee + $26 parking = rate + $26 plus parking tax; without a car, rate + $0.
- Westgate Palace: your rate + $28.11 resort fee ($24.99 × 1.125) + $0 parking = rate + $28.11.
- Staybridge Suites Orlando at SeaWorld: your rate + $0 resort fee + $10 to $12 parking = rate + $10 to $12.
Each park day on a free shuttle or a Universal bus saves $35: Disney’s standard theme park parking and Universal’s garage parking were both $35 a day, tax included, on October 30, 2026. The Staybridge breakfasts have no published dollar value. None of the nine includes Universal Express Unlimited or Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry; Cabana Bay and Dockside include Universal’s Early Park Admission, which has no separate published price. See Orlando resort fees explained.
Worked example: four nights, three Disney park days, one car, excluding the room rate and room tax.
- Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, driving: 4 × $20 = $80, plus 3 × $35 = $105 Disney parking, for $185.
- Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa, shuttle: 4 × $29.50 = $118, plus 12.5% tax = $132.75; driving instead adds $105, for $237.75.
- Floridays Resort Orlando, shuttle: 4 × $35 = $140, plus 12.5% tax = $157.50.
- Staybridge Suites Orlando Royale Parc Suites, shuttle: 4 × $18 = $72, plus 13.5% tax = $81.72, plus $40 parking, for $121.72.
For four nights with three Universal days, Cabana Bay or Dockside add 4 × $26 = $104 plus tax with a car and $0 without one. Westgate Palace adds 4 × $24.99 = $99.96, plus 12.5% tax = $112.46 when the shuttle fits your plans, or $217.46 if you drive to the parks.
Booked with Disney: family suites and villas
Disney-owned resorts are booked with Disney, not on Booking.com. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Family Suites list 1 queen bed, 1 double-size sleeper sofa and 1 double-size pull-down bed for up to 6 adults (October 30, 2026); only the queen is in a separate bedroom. Disney Vacation Club 2-bedroom villas sleep 8 or 9 and add Early Theme Park Entry: see Disney World 2-bedroom villas.
How to choose a two-bedroom unit for six
- Everyone in a real bed: Floridays, Lake Buena Vista Resort Village, Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Cabana Bay, Dockside, Staybridge Suites at SeaWorld, Royale Parc’s king-and-two-queens or four-double layout, or the Westgate Vacation Villas Two-Bedroom Deluxe Villa.
- No rental car: Lake Buena Vista Resort Village or Floridays for Disney and Universal; Cabana Bay or Dockside for Universal.
- Split trip: Floridays has shuttles to Disney, Universal and SeaWorld; for two bases, read where to stay for Disney and Universal.
Frequently asked questions
Can a family of 6 stay in one hotel room in Orlando?
Yes, but mostly in one open room. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort Family Suites sleep up to 6 adults, with a queen bed in a separate bedroom and two more beds in the living area, and Cabana Bay’s Family Suites also sleep 6. For two bedrooms with doors, book a two-bedroom suite such as Dockside’s 440 sq ft suite with three queen beds.
Which Orlando hotels have 2-bedroom suites for 6 people?
Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa, Floridays Resort Orlando and Dockside Inn and Suites list two-bedroom units for exactly six. Westgate Vacation Villas Resort and Westgate Palace list 6 on their room pages but 5 in Westgate’s comparison tool. Staybridge Suites Royale Parc lists 6, 8 or 10, and Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, Cabana Bay and Staybridge Suites at SeaWorld list 8.
Which Universal Orlando hotels sleep 6 in two bedrooms?
Dockside Inn and Suites sells a 440 sq ft 2-Bedroom Suite for up to 6, with three queen beds and one bathroom. Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort sells a 772 sq ft Volcano Bay View 2-Bedroom Suite for up to 8, with two full bathrooms. Both include Early Park Admission and free buses, charge $26 + tax for parking and do not include Universal Express.
How much do resort fees and parking add for a family of 6?
Among these nine, the fixed add-on per night with one car runs from $10 (Staybridge Suites at SeaWorld, parking only) to $39.38 (Floridays, where parking and shuttles sit inside the fee). Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek adds $20 but has no shuttle, so each Disney park day adds $35 for parking.
Bottom line
The best Orlando hotels for a family of 6 give every person a real bed and two bathrooms: Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa near Disney with a free shuttle, Floridays with shuttles to Disney, Universal and SeaWorld, and Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort on Universal property. Staybridge Suites Orlando Royale Parc Suites adds free breakfast, and Dockside fits six in three queen beds if one bathroom works. Check availability for your dates at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa.
