Bonnet Creek hotels are five privately run resorts on a roughly 482-acre enclave wedged between Disney Springs, EPCOT and I-4, surrounded on three sides by Walt Disney World land. You’re 1.5 to 6 miles from the parks, with lazy rivers and rooms that sleep a family of six or a group of twelve.

The five aren’t equal. Only two get Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry, the shuttles run three different ways, and one resort lists no Disney shuttle at all.

Quick answer: Signia by Hilton suits families who want a lazy river plus Early Entry. The Waldorf Astoria is for quiet luxury and golf, with Early Entry and Signia’s lazy river next door. Wyndham Grand has the lowest fees of the four full-service hotels, with bunk rooms for six and Club Wyndham‘s pools. JW Marriott suits Bonvoy points and an adults-only pool, but has no Early Entry. Club Wyndham’s 1- to 4-bedroom condos fit big groups, though it lists no Disney shuttle.

Where Bonnet Creek is, and whether it counts as Disney property

Bonnet Creek is privately owned and not affiliated with Disney. Disney land borders it on three sides and I-4 on the fourth, and you enter from East Buena Vista Drive, just east of Disney’s Riviera Resort. Disney tried to buy the land when it assembled Walt Disney World but failed, and it sat largely unused until plans emerged around 2000; the first resort was announced in 2002 and opened in 2004. Today it holds about 2,400 hotel rooms plus 1,149 timeshare units, and 75 acres along the creek have been a nature preserve since 2008.

Signia and the Waldorf call themselves “Official Walt Disney World Hotels,” and both are on Disney’s Early Entry list. That still doesn’t make them Disney Resort hotels. Bonnet Creek is also separate from the Disney Springs Resort Area hotels on Hotel Plaza Boulevard. For the wider picture, see the best areas to stay in Orlando.

Which Bonnet Creek hotels get Disney perks

Disney’s Early Theme Park Entry list includes Signia and the Waldorf Astoria. Their guests enter any of the four theme parks 30 minutes early every day, including check-in and check-out days, with valid park admission. Disney says the perk continues through 2027. JW Marriott, Wyndham Grand and Club Wyndham are not on the list.

Extended Evening Hours go only to Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resorts plus the Swan, Dolphin, Swan Reserve and Shades of Green. The 7-day Lightning Lane window covers Disney Resort hotels and those same four, so every Bonnet Creek guest buys 3 days ahead. Wyndham Grand’s “Walt Disney World Gateway Hotel” label means advance-purchase tickets and a shuttle, not Early Entry. For every hotel that does qualify, see our list of non-Disney hotels with Early Theme Park Entry.

1. Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

Signia, formerly Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, is the enclave’s largest hotel, with about 1,000 rooms. The pool deck is the draw: a zero-entry lagoon-style pool, a lazy river with free tubes (first come, first served), a waterslide and cabanas for up to six. Pool View rooms overlook it all, and Disney View rooms face Disney Springs or Hollywood Studios. Signia and the Waldorf share 12 restaurants and lounges. Signia guests can play the par-72 Waldorf Astoria Golf Club (green fees apply), and the resort charge covers its practice facilities and club rentals after 2 pm.

  • Why stay: Early Entry, the lazy river and slide, and free dinner for kids 12 and under at La Luce or Harvest Bistro, one per adult entree.
  • Getting to the parks: A continuous motorcoach, shared with the Waldorf, runs to all four parks and Disney Springs during regular park hours. The hotel puts Magic Kingdom 6 miles away and Disney Springs 2.5.
  • Good to know: At the time of writing, the $50-plus-tax resort charge covered the shuttle, Wi-Fi for two devices and the 24/7 gym. Self-parking was $40 and valet $60 a day, plus tax. There’s a $150-a-night incidental hold, no airport shuttle and no included breakfast.

Best for: Families with young kids who want a lazy river and Early Entry in one booking. It’s also in our guide to the best hotels near Disney World.

2. Waldorf Astoria Orlando

The Waldorf is the smaller, quieter neighbor, with 497 rooms, the Waldorf Astoria Spa and a public 18-hole Rees Jones golf course. Its own pools are calm: a cabana pool for laps, a zero-entry pool for little ones and a Jacuzzi. For more action, Waldorf guests can use Signia’s pool, lazy river and slide, and the resort charge includes four lazy river tubes. The Oversized Deluxe Queen room sleeps up to five with a rollaway, and suites include two-bedroom options.

  • Why stay: Early Entry, golf, the spa, the WA Kids Club and the same kids-eat-free dinner deal as Signia.
  • Getting to the parks: The same continuous motorcoach as Signia, to all four parks and Disney Springs. The hotel’s FAQ says schedules vary by day.
  • Good to know: At the time of writing, the $50-plus-tax resort charge covered the shuttle, Wi-Fi for two devices, two bottles of water a day, the gym, golf practice facilities and free club rentals after 2 pm. Parking is valet only, $60 a night plus tax. You must be 21 to book, and there’s no airport shuttle.

Best for: Couples, golfers and families who want a calmer base with Signia’s lazy river next door. See it among the best luxury resorts in Orlando.

3. Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek

Wyndham Grand has 400 rooms and suites on 62 acres around a 10-acre lake. Family Bunk rooms with two queens sleep up to six, Family Bunk Kings sleep five, and standard two-queen rooms take four. Lakeview balcony rooms look toward the nightly theme park fireworks. Besides its own heated Oasis Pool, guests can use Club Wyndham’s pools, two lazy rivers and splash zone next door. Don’t confuse it with Wyndham Lake Buena Vista or Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, which do get Early Entry.

  • Why stay: Bunk rooms for five or six, the lowest resort fee of the four full-service hotels, and Club Wyndham’s pools included.
  • Getting to the parks: A scheduled shuttle. At the time of writing, the first buses left at 7:45 am for EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom buses drop you at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), where you switch to the monorail or ferry. Be at the stop 10 minutes early; schedules change monthly.
  • Good to know: At the time of writing, the $42-plus-tax resort services fee covered the shuttle, premium Wi-Fi, the gym, 10% off the spa and Club Wyndham’s pools and mini golf. Self-parking was $36 and valet $42 a day, plus tax. Breakfast is extra; kids 5 and under eat the Tesoro Cove buffet free with a paying adult. Housekeeping is a light daily refresh, with full service on the third day of your stay.

Best for: Families of five or six who want one room, big pools and a lower fee, and don’t need Early Entry.

4. JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa

Opened in 2020 with 516 rooms and suites, the JW Marriott is the newest hotel here. It has a large zero-entry family pool, an adults-only pool, a hot tub and a small splash pad, but no lazy river or slide. On the 6th floor, a Kids Conservatory has 9-hole mini golf and a climbing wall, and the paid Hidden Garden Kids Club runs on select days. Two-bedroom family suites pair a king with a double bunk bed and a sofa bed.

  • Why stay: Marriott Bonvoy points, an adults-only pool and two-bedroom family suites.
  • Getting to the parks: Reviews describe a scheduled bus with set departure times that serves all stops, with Magic Kingdom service ending at the TTC, and advise booking seats ahead. Confirm the current schedule at check-in. By car, EPCOT and Disney Springs are a few minutes away and Magic Kingdom about 6 miles, roughly 15 minutes without traffic.
  • Good to know: No Early Entry. The fee comes from third-party trackers: ResortFeeChecker lists $61.88 a night, which appears to include Orange County’s roughly 12.5% hotel tax, so about $55 before tax. Third-party listings show self-parking at $43 and valet at $59 a night plus tax. The fee reportedly covers the shuttle, Wi-Fi, daily mini golf for four and a climbing session for two. Resort fees apply on award nights, and breakfast is extra.

Best for: Bonvoy members, couples who want an adults-only pool, and families who can skip a lazy river.

5. Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek: condo-style villas

Club Wyndham, the original Bonnet Creek resort (2004), is a timeshare with 1,149 units that non-owners can rent through Wyndham and Booking.com. Prices, housekeeping and parking depend on how you book, and you may be offered a sales presentation. One-bedroom suites sleep up to four, two-bedrooms up to eight, three-bedrooms up to ten and the four-bedroom Presidential up to twelve, depending on unit type. Every suite has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The grounds have five pools, two lazy rivers, nine hot tubs, waterslides and mini golf.

  • Why stay: Space for big groups, kitchens, laundry and a Disney Planning Center staffed by Cast Members for tickets and dining reservations.
  • Getting to the parks: Club Wyndham’s official amenities list shows no Disney shuttle, so plan on a car or rideshare, and ask the resort whether any paid shuttle runs during your dates.
  • Good to know: At the time of writing, non-owners paid $20 a day to park, and a third-party guide reports no separate resort fee on standard rentals. No pets (service animals only), a $250 card deposit at check-in, and no cash on site. Tower 5 was scheduled to stay closed until November 20, 2026, and its pool and lazy river until December 1. Exterior and check-in area work was set to run to February 2028.

Best for: Multigenerational trips and groups of eight to twelve with a car.

Getting to the parks and Disney Springs: shuttles, driving and rideshare

Every Bonnet Creek shuttle is paid for through a mandatory resort fee, so none is truly free.

There’s no official walking route to any park or to Disney Springs; the hotels describe paths within Bonnet Creek, around the resorts and the lake, and send guests to the parks by shuttle. If you drive, free theme park parking is only for Disney Resort hotel guests, so you’d pay Disney’s standard $35 a day (at the time of writing) on top of hotel parking. Rideshare avoids both bills. For other hotels with Disney transport, see Orlando hotels with Disney World shuttles.

ResortFeeChecker’s figures appear to include tax: $56.25 for Signia and the Waldorf, $47.25 for Wyndham Grand and $61.88 for the JW, or the base fee plus about 12.5%. At Signia, the resort charge and self-parking came to $90 a night before tax. Meals cost extra everywhere. If you’d rather prepay food and drinks, compare the all-inclusive resorts in Orlando.

Pools, kids clubs and traveling with pets at Bonnet Creek

Signia’s lazy river and slide are open to Waldorf guests too. Wyndham Grand guests can also use Club Wyndham’s pools, two lazy rivers and splash zone (Tower 5’s pool and lazy river were scheduled to reopen December 1, 2026). The JW has no lazy river; its splash pad and adults-only pool lean toward toddlers and couples. For more slides, see our list of Orlando hotels with waterslides.

The Waldorf’s WA Kids Club takes ages 5 to 12, with sessions from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and 2:30 to 5:30 pm. A session costs $50 for one child, $40 for a second and $30 for each additional child; hourly care is $20 per child. “Astoria After Dark” runs 6 to 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Prices were last checked in September 2026.

Bonnet Creek wins on pools and space. All eight Disney Springs Resort Area hotels get Early Entry, so you have more choices there. A Disney Deluxe gets every perk in the table, but you book it directly with Disney, not on Booking.com.

How to choose the right Bonnet Creek hotel

  • Young kids, pool-first: Signia, or Wyndham Grand for lower fees.
  • Couples and golfers: The Waldorf, or the JW if you want an adults-only pool and can skip Early Entry.
  • Five or six in one room: Wyndham Grand’s Family Bunk rooms, or the Waldorf’s Oversized Deluxe Queen for five.
  • Big groups: Club Wyndham’s 2- to 4-bedroom villas, with a car.

Frequently asked questions

Is Bonnet Creek on Disney property?

Not technically. Bonnet Creek is surrounded by Walt Disney World land on three sides and I-4 on the fourth, but it’s privately owned and not affiliated with Disney. None of its resorts is a Disney Resort hotel, so no guest gets free theme park parking, though Signia and the Waldorf do get Early Entry.

Which Bonnet Creek hotels get Disney Early Theme Park Entry?

Only Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Waldorf Astoria Orlando. Their guests can enter any Disney theme park 30 minutes early every day of the stay, with valid admission. JW Marriott, Wyndham Grand and Club Wyndham are not on Disney’s list, and no Bonnet Creek hotel gets Extended Evening Hours.

Is the Bonnet Creek shuttle to Disney free?

No. At Signia, the Waldorf, Wyndham Grand and the JW Marriott, the shuttle is part of a mandatory daily resort fee, which ran from $42 to about $55 a night plus tax at the time of writing. Club Wyndham lists no Disney shuttle, so plan to drive or use rideshare there.

Can you walk from Bonnet Creek to Disney Springs or EPCOT?

There’s no official walking route. Wyndham Grand puts EPCOT and Disney Springs about 1.5 miles away, but the hotels describe paths within Bonnet Creek, around the resorts and the lake, and send guests to the parks by shuttle. Take your hotel’s shuttle, drive or use a rideshare instead.

Signia or Waldorf Astoria Orlando: which is better for families?

Both get Early Entry, share the same park shuttle and offer free kids’ dinners with an adult entree. Signia has the lazy river and slide on its own pool deck. Waldorf guests can use them too, and the Waldorf adds the paid WA Kids Club and calmer pools. Pick Signia for pool-first kids, the Waldorf for a quieter base.

Can Wyndham Grand guests use the Club Wyndham pools and lazy rivers?

Yes. At the time of writing, Wyndham Grand’s $42-plus-tax resort services fee included access to Club Wyndham’s pools, two lazy rivers, hot tubs and splash zone. Club Wyndham’s hours vary, and its Tower 5 pool and lazy river were scheduled to stay closed until December 1, 2026, so check what’s open.
